THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• The Paul Heyman-led era has begun in the TWF with some amazing and shocking changes. Although storyline wise he will only assume control of the company tomorrow in the worst-kept secret in wrestling, Heyman will completely shake up the TWF to it's very foundations. Heyman is determined to carve the TWF into ECW Mk II with some sweeping changes that are unlikely to prove popular with people outside his yes-men. Prior to even getting ownership of the company, Heyman is believed to have called Stamford, CT to ask if the WWE were interested in buying the TWF from him, but, when this was found out, Heyman quickly changed his mind. Despite being an ally of Mr. BIG's, Heyman wants to give the company a rebirth. This has led one major wrestler backstage to say "Heyman's gonna undo in 3 weeks all the work Biggie did to get us back here in a year".
• One already unpopular change is Heyman will rename Dangerously Serious "November Pain" and has already negotiated the use of "November Rain" by Guns n' Roses as a theme song. The theme song use will draw parallels ECW's November 2 Remember events, where the video was used as a hype video for all the event's feuds. Heyman is also negotiating to turn PCW into the TWF's development territory, instead of using the RWF, as was planned almost a year ago.
• Heyman is also expected to release most of the TWF's referees at some point in the new year. He has criticised them for working too much like "wrestling" referees, where as he wants them to take more bumps - one thing that was not typical of the TWF's style. Only a handful of referees are expecting to stay: Kevin Poole, Sophie Matravers, Sebastian Richter and Leandro Pires.
• Another unpopular change is that Heyman wants to shake-up the TWF's announce team. Heyman has publicly criticised the current team for having no dynamic, and at the moment, Bryan Daniels looks to be the one on his way out, with Michael King or Heyman himself to join on colour calling duties. This is a particularly unpopular move with many backstage as Daniels has become arguably one of the best announcers of the modern era with his great wit and banter with Scott Hudson.
• Despite all this talk of changes, Mr. BIG is expected to stay with the company for the near future. Whilst Biggie is not at all happy with the changes being made, he is expected to stick around to at least put over some wrestlers. He is currently the second favourite behind the Assassin in the pre-voting polls for TWF Wrestler of the Year. Sophie is also expecting to stick around, although for less longer, as there is talk backstage she has a major announcement to make tomorrow night.
• Plans are continuing for the TWF to produce three free-to-air special events on the xWn next year instead of the old xWa Supershows. The first, SuperBrawl, is confirmed to take place on Super Bowl Sunday in February. Another two, one in June and one in October, are expected and provided they are a success, could be an annual festivity in the Total Wrestling Federation.
• An alleged former girlfriend of Mr. BIG made the news this week by selling stories of their "hot, kinky steamy sex" to a tabloid. Many wrestlers read the article with bemusement, as they knew Biggie constantly blew the girl off, as she approached him during his relationship with Louise. Biggie chose to defend himself by releasing a statement on his website stating the above fact, and that "in the current atmosphere of high-money for ludicrous stories - add this to the Wikipedia entry of alleged sex scandal stories. I've never had, and never wanted to have sex with this girl."
• Big Martin has patched things up with Mr. BIG and this has been put down to a severe mis understanding. Martin did however stand by one thing he said - he will not be returning to professional wrestling in the near future unless his circumstances change.
• Marz is one name we are expecting to return. Originally, he was going to leave the TWF to set up his architecture agency, but plans have changed and he has signed on for another two years. Marz is taking time off to spend time with family, which also explains Michelle's absence from the company at the moment.
• Next May's PPV, Hard Times, is scheduled for Orlando, Florida, and we understand the company will be flying over for a month, and will conduct it's first ever shows in Georgia, with a show already booked for the Phillips Arena.
• Finally, there is a mood of real happiness in the TWF this weekend as this is the final wrestling show of the year and the wrestlers have two weeks to rest their batteries, with only one function remaining between now and January 9 - the Best of 2007 Awards show from the Bridgend Dome.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: November 12, 2007

• Big Martin has apparently become the first man in TWF history to be "blacklisted" from all future TWF events. Over the weekend, comments Martin made about the organisation, and Mr. BIG in particular, made major news wires, with Martin saying that Mr. BIG was "a pretentious arsehole of the highest order", for trying to make money out of the Joey Davies/Matthew Wright feud. The TWF was always under the impression both men supported the idea, but Martin has been told by Wright that he hated the angle and was part of the reason why he quit. Wright has since denied this, and Martin has been banned from the TWF.
• Aaron Hill has also been told he is on his way out, as he infuriated upper management with some of his comments about TWF wrestlers this week. This has been said by one source to be "the straw that broke the camel's back", and Hill will be gone sooner rather than later.
• The TWF has announced that to replace the xWa Supershows, they will hold 2 and a half hour special shows in the slots in February, June and October, when there are big gaps between pay‐per‐views. The first, entitled "SuperBrawl", will take place prior to the Super Bowl on February 3. They will be free to air on the xWn for certain, although Five are looking to pitch in for rights as well.
• Mr. BIG will apparently step-down as Managing Director of the TWF in the New Year and hand over the reigns to someone else in Upper Management. Local e-Commerce entrepreneur, Tom Green, is apparently the favourite to land the role. In a related note, it is also expected that TWF Chairman Mr. Edwards steps down when his brother does so. Mr. Edwards has been sparingly used since Paul Heyman's arrival into the company as a heel authority figure, and Ric Flair's arrival has meant Edwards could concentrate on other ambitions, including his fledging property development business.
• However, Mr. BIG has claimed that he has been pushed out of the company, and has agreed a deal with a publishing company to publish his diary into the last 12 months, which some have already read and claim it is "explosive". It is due to his shelves in March 2008.
• Members of Upper Management have apparently gone behind Mr. BIG's back and made overtures towards NJS regarding a return, despite Mr. BIG saying he would renegotiate with NJS in January. The plan from some members of upper management is to have him back as early as January, and to immediately begin the Mr. BIG vs. NJS feud, with no match at Summer Break, instead matches at No Way BacK and Halloween Hell.
• As part of NJS's return, the TWF is looking to acquire one very important asset: the XCW Tape Library. The TWF already owns the RWF library and despite the XCW's library's perceived value, the company is looking for a deal that would see NJS still gain something financially out of it. NJS and the Job-Smith family would apparently gain a veto right to any footage being used, which looks incredibly unlikely, but will still be in place in case, as speculated, Mr. BIG leaves and direct negotiations between them would not be possible.
• On a brighter note, Hades has committed to the company until at least September next year, meaning he has a chance to become TWF World Champion next year. It has always been said since his arrival in 2004 that Hades has had the largest potential of any BCW graduates and he may fulfil his promise.
• The Assassin and Mastermind have become very close friends since joining together in the Dangerous Alliance. The two men have rarely travelled with Paul Heyman, but have been working on promos and skits in TWF Towers in recent weeks that many sources have claimed are "incredibly funny".
• A new faction will enter the TWF in early 2008 called the "House of Pain". These will feature some experienced wrestlers from other promotions who will be making their TWF débuts. Expect these guys to be big news in 2008.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: October 16, 2007

• The latest rumour regarding next year's Summer Break is the most interesting so far. There is very strong talk at the moment that the show will see TWF stalwart Deadman finally win the TWF World Championship from an unnamed opponent. Names being mentioned include Frekishi, Mastermind, Hades and JCVS. It is then thought that during the process of his title reign, NJS could return to feud with his brother as a heel for the first time, and would turn face against Mr. BIG, where Biggie is likely to play the heel. Blade is also being looked at as being a focus for the card, possibly in a match with Nytrus for the IC Title.
• However, this will be all up in the air as the fact that Dangerously Serious will be the first TWF PPV to ever purposely run a loss could see Mr. BIG's head roll as a result. Although the card is likely to be "more amazing than Summer Break" and will settle some scores, many members of the TWF Board will consider the additional hour on the card totally unnecessary and that could provide Biggie's opponents with enough ammo they need to install a new Managing Director. Mr. BIG's CEO position is under no threat, but if he is ousted as MD, Biggie has threatened to leave the TWF in "a ridiculous mess - worse than 2001".
• We are hearing that The Jocks stable may be coming to an end shortly as many of the stable's members are looking to move onto pastures new.
• Although originally told otherwise, Marz has told Mr. BIG that he will not be leaving the company as he has decided to continue with wrestling instead of architecture. This is great news for the TWF, which will need star power in early 2008. However, an angle has already been written to get Marz out of the company, but it has been re-written to allow Marz the return opportunity in early 2008.
• Team EV are going to get "one last run" as one of the company's top tag teams in mid-2008 prior to them retiring and heading off into new ventures. We hear that they could win the championships as early as Christmas.
• After announcing that he has left UFC, there is an extremely strong rumour that former UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture will make an appearance in the TWF in some form of angle. Playing off his legit toughness, he is likely to be involved in a top-line program with the Dangerous Alliance. This could take place as early as January. The TWF wants to bring in stars from other sporting realms as a way of solidifying the company as entertainment. This is likely to bring criticism from some, as they may feel this will de-emphasise the predominant wrestling aspect of the show, but, TWF MD Mr. BIG has constantly said that if he feels the wrestling takes a back seat, he will not let that be.
• Jean Claude Van Slam has impressed many with his sharpness from his extended hiatus. Many expected, since he had not even been in a wrestling ring since Summer Break VI, for him to be sluggish and show much ring-rust. However, his preliminary workouts at the Asylum have been nothing short of excellent. JCVS worked a couple of spots with Mr. BIG last Thursday and Biggie was extremely impressed with JCVS. Head Trainer Wayne Morris stated that of all the wrestlers who have returned, JCVS is one of a rare breed who have returned better than their original state. JCVS has gained a noticeable amount of weight since his last appearance, but this is definitely muscle rather than fat, and he has added some extremely impressive moves into his arsenal.
• Mr. BIG was spotted sitting down on a train with former TWF wrestler "Real Deal" Murphy this week. Biggie immediately turned to Murphy and said "I'll bet you this'll start a few rumours". It was merely a co-incidence the two took the same train and "Real Deal" has absolutely no plans to join Jon Bennetta in turning to the company.
• Louise and her boyfriend Josh Jericho have alleged been spotted this weekend looking for properties in the Exeter area, sparking furious rumours that she will leave the company after an argument with her old flame Mr. BIG. This is quite the contrary, as Biggie has allowed Louise to do whatever she pleases to a certain degree, and she has no plans to leave until her contract expires in October 2008.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: September 12, 2007

• There was a major news story last week during discussions between BCW and the TWF. Due to the RWF not being ready in time, the TWF was considering an agreement to allow the company to continue to be the TWF's development area, but, the TWF obviously wanted more control of the company to steer it in the direction they lead. BCW however kept ignoring the TWF delegates issues, and subsequently, the TWF team left the meeting early and BCW has flatly been refused the option.
• The XWF show is in jeopardy at the moment. The sponsors are having some issues over some of the names included for the event. Unlike the TWF shows, sponsorship will be vital for the XWF PPV as it's probably the only way it will make a profit. Mr. BIG, The Bandit and JT Money are working hard to resolve the issues, which looks very likely at this stage.
• Paul Heyman will reportedly be replaced as Commissioner in the future. Heyman is ecstatic with his role at present, but, as part of an angle, he will be removed from the position. Backstage, Heyman is actually a vocal part of the booking team and has been responsible for some of the shows in the past couple of weeks. The writing team comes up with ideas, but, Mr. BIG will still have the final say of what airs and what doesn't, in the best interests of the promotion. There was a suggestion of a "faking your own death" angle not so long ago, but, it was horribly timed with the Chris Benoit double murder-suicide, so that angle was dropped.
• Mr. BIG has apparently been in self-seclusion in the last couple of weeks. Some have gone as far to say "He hasn't been this depressed since the height of the TECW/TWF war". Biggie is allegedly unhappy at the sheer number of people who have committed to other projects within the next couple of months and has considered it a stab in the back. He thinks that many will try to get back with the company around Summer Break time next year for a final pay-off before disowning wrestling together. That is Mr. BIG's main criticism with having NJS back in the company. Whilst the two are still best friends, both know NJS's passion for the company is not what it was a few years ago.
• To further the feud between Joey Davies and Matthew Wright, Wright has been asked if his girlfriend and the source of the break-up of the tag team (both kayfabe and legit), Elisha, would be interested in furthering the angle between the two. Both men are on friendly terms at the moment and have appeared to heal their wounds, but the TWF wants to use the feud as a way of sending both guys on their way.
• Take No Prisoners will have some celebrities present, although only at ringside, and none will be used in a large capacity besides the cast of MTV's Laguna Beach.
• There has been a renowned effort to get the Women's division back on track in the company. Atomically Kool Kat was brought back in to bring some focus to the group, but there will be an addition to the female roster soon who will hopefully shake things up.
• The TWF's plans for 2008 at the moment do not currently involve NJS. This is not due to negotiations breaking down, but, the company will focus on elevating largely new self-developed talent in 2008, with some big pushes for the likes of Disturbed, Zero, Sebastian Gross and more BCW graduates.
• By January 2008, we are hearing almost 80% of the current TWF roster will not appear on the broadcasts. The TWF is actually looking forward to the time as it will be a time of uncertainty for fans and a high-profile advertising campaign showing the new talent will be well under way.
• The dates and venues for the TWF's first 5 2008 PPVs will be announced during the Take No Prisoners weekend.
• Big Martin has been winning himself new fans with his great work ethic backstage. He has been more than willing to work out matches with his competitors and has been seen frequently giving classes in BCW in the past. Mr. BIG is particularly keen on giving the big man a shot at a big title run in the future, but with his departure coming up shortly, the company is not completely certain whether or not to push him.
• Although we will shortly see the débuts of three of the TWF's newest development graduates: Justin Polaris, Mick O'Brian and Sebastian Gross, amazingly, two new names will appear starting in the new year: Mike Haggar and Victor Ortega. Both are impressively built men, whilst one is more of a technical specimen, the other is an amazingly fast-paced worker.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: August 22, 2007

• There was only one major injury to report coming out of Summer Break. Mr. BIG managed to overstretch his shoulder performing a superplex during his match with The Assassin. Whilst the muscle is strained, he will not miss any ring time and it will require a short amount of physio to get back to 100%.
• Joey Davies and Matthew Wright have managed to work out their differences between them, but the TWF will still run an angle between the two former tag team partners as a way of sending them off, as they too will be leaving between now and Christmas.
• The TWF has been quite alarmed as of late as it turns out more members of the roster are leaving than planned. Joey Davies & Marz will leave soon to start up their architecture firm in Nottingham, Frekishi is planning to leave in early-2008 to set up a Motorsport Engineering company in Oxford as well.
• During the Summer Break weekend, the TWF announced that from this week, Versus will carry Grit BasH on a live-to-tape basis, showing the program at 8pm EST, after it has taped in the US. When the TWF emanates from the US, it will show the program live. FURY will also work under the same principle.
• There is also a strong rumour that despite bidding farewell to the Brynteg Arena in July, the TWF will hold a few more shows at the venue due to the plans of running it's own in-house development company has entered teething problems. Originally, the plan was to re-start the RWF and make it a B-League to the TWF, but, there have been many problems and when the Development Company returns from it's summer hiatus, BCW is likely to still be home to the company.
• Mr. BIG's XWF reunion show announced a card this week and The Bandit and JT Money have, unsurprisingly, thrown their full support behind the show, which means it is certain to go ahead. Biggie wanted confirmation from his two former XWF buddies before running a preliminary card. The card has been confirmed and tickets for the show will go on sale September 1.
• In discussions held by the writing team this week, we understand that the TWF is interested in bringing in Lennox Lewis for a program akin to Mike Tyson in the WWF in 1998 as a way of building up further heat for the Jocks faction leading up to next year's Summer Break. Of all the ideas suggested recently, this is the idea that sounds most likely to go ahead. Lewis is still held in high regard in the UK for his days as Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion and the opportunity for the company to work with a sporting legend would further enhance the TWF's profile.
• Although the crossover with entertainment is not a possibility the TWF would have taken around two years ago, the much larger profile that the TWF has got since returning has lead to Mr. BIG to demand to steer wrestling into another golden era. He feels that some celebrity involvement will be required, but he also is adamant that the emphasis be in great in-ring work and enthralling story lines that get viewers involved. As such, expect Take No Prisoners to take the same kind of form that Summer Break did.
• On the TWF's YouTube channel, a 3-minute long highlight package of the Mr. BIG-The Assassin match from Summer Break has been the #1 Most Viewed Video on the website for three days running and has a record number of comments, signalling that Scott Hudson was not wrong when he claimed it would be the "Match of the Decade". A write-in poll to Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine has already placed it in the top 10 matches of all time.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: August 08, 2007

• The idea that Mr. BIG suggested of an informal roster split and two World Championships, many people will be glad to hear, was dropped at the most recent TWF board meeting, with the board unanimously agreeing it does not fit the TWF's vision.
• The company has however caused controversy in the USA at the moment however after it paid for a two-page advertisement in all New York Times company papers, including the NY Times and Boston Globe, mocking the WWE's current ratings decline and drug testing policies. At the same time, the company donated a similar fee to a charity set up in the memory of Chris Benoit's wife, Nancy and to the charity set up by the wife of Owen Hart. The WWE has internally been blaming it's ratings decline on the strong competition from the TWF in the US at the moment, despite the fact that the TWF is being carried on lesser cable networks than USA Network, which RAW is carried on.
• However, the TWF has entered negotiations with HBO, Versus and myNetwork TV regarding a better US TV deal that will see Grit BasH and FURY air on a live-to-tape basis in the United States, with PPVs already being shown live by the Dish Network and Direct TV. A deal with Versus looks most likely at this point as it will allow a deal to allow the TWF PPVs to be available to Comcast subscribers.
• We are hearing that there was a HUGE backstage incident that took place at a House Show on Saturday that involved the whole locker room between tag team partners Joey Davies and Matthew Wright. Wright called up his girlfriend, which it turns out, was an ex girlfriend of Davies's, which much of the roster did know about but refused to acknowledge. Davies caught the fact and stormed out of the event before their planned match that evening, meaning their match was cancelled. Much of the roster has blamed Davies, but Upper Management has took Davies's side of the argument. The end result is that the two men's team will be broken up fairly soon, so don't expect them to win the match at Summer Break I'm afraid. Davies is due to leave the TWF in October, Wright's contract expires in November.
• "The Masterstroke" Aaron Hill has managed to get himself out of the dog house lately with an impressive turn around in his backstage behaviour. The young superstar has been told by many he has the potential to be a big star in the company, but his mouth backstage has held him back. After keeping himself in check in recent weeks, he maybe rewarded with a further push.
• The on-going saga surrounding NJS's return to the TWF at the moment sees him coming back at No Way BacK in 2008 and instead of facing Mr. BIG at Summer Break X in 2009 in a card at the Millennium Stadium that is likely to be the biggest gate in TWF history. However, note how many times the story has changed in recent weeks surrounding his return, so take this with a pinch of salt.
• Despite rumours stating otherwise, Scott Hudson is not leaving the TWF any time soon. Although around March he did contemplate a return home, Hudson has proclaimed on many occasions that he is having "the time of his life" in the TWF and would never leave. His current partnership with Bryan Daniels was recently voted the best partnership he has had since he came to the company, citing that their obvious chemistry is playing a part in the duo's success.
• Expect the TWF to announce post-SB that the RWF will become it's new development territory. Mr. BIG will have a very hands-on role in the organisation and will be involved in the day-to-day running of the company. It is expected that it will do one or two shows a month alongside it's usual last weekend of the month card to be shown on the xWn.
• Also expect post-Summer Break for the TWF to announce the PPV dates and names for the first half of 2008.
• The Production department also wants to début a new look title sequence for FURY after Take No Prisoners as well. They have said to have worked extremely hard on the sequence and it one of their best works.
• The poster for Take No Prisoners will also be released shortly. It was a huge favourite among the production and marketing team when they had a show off of various concepts and won the internal contest by a considerable margin.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: July 25, 2007

• In a move that is likely to forever alter the course of the TWF, Mr. BIG approached the Board of Directors this week with a controversial idea. Biggie says that there are plenty of people turning away from the product because they do not see the technical wrestling that made British wrestling what it was in the 70s and 80s, where as others say that they see little of the big-move style that has dominated American wrestling. To set a trend, Biggie wants to revolutionise the sport. The plan is to split the roster into two sections: The "Evolved" and "Extreme" Championships. A new "Total Wrestling Evolved World Championship" would be recognised as the world title for the wrestling brand of the roster, whilst the current TWF World Championship would be the new "Extreme World Championship". Although this was just an idea at the time, many eyebrows were raised and there was certainly some interest in the idea. The earliest it would be adopted is 2008, but Biggie says he would like to bring it in in March 2009.
• Even though this year's Summer Break has yet to take place, the usual rumours are swirling up about next year's card. A preliminary agreement with NJS means we are likely to get the dream Mr. BIG vs. NJS match to headline the show. The Assassin would face Hades, and Deadman would face Mastermind as a Triple Main Event.
• There has been an issue that should the planned Mr. BIG vs. NJS match go-ahead, the TWF would capitalise on this amazing match by moving Summer Break to a larger venue. Although it's not been ruled out that The Bridgend Dome could fill in, there is talk that the Millennium Stadium or even Wembley Stadium could host the event. At the moment however, in an agreement that was set-out eight years ago but not fore filled until now, the Brackla Community Centre is the favourite to host Summer Break IX, with sites for Summer Break X looking like being the TWF Arena, Bridgend Recreation Centre and Broadlands Arena.
• If the planned involvement of the former Laguna Beach cast works well, the TWF will allegedly get more celebrity involvement from MTV next year. There are already rumours that there will be an appearance by the Dirty Sanchez crew next year to promote a new series of the show, which seems possible as a member of the TWF front office's ex-husband is good friends with the crew.
• Expect the TWF to really hone in on any celebrities that will be at Summer Break. The TWF has not had an opportunity in the past to really have celebrity involvement, due to the amazing explosion since the company's return in wrestling's popularity, the company is keen to take advantage of every opportunity it gets.
• An unfortunate piece of news is that some TWF superstars are likely to miss Grit BasH due to being in the Greek nightclub where an 18-year-old ice hockey star was killed this weekend. They are staying in Greece for further questioning about the incident and are likely to fly back during Wednesday, but will not be required to appear on TWF programming this week.
• A backstage source this week has stated that the RWF could return as early as August. Mr. BIG wants to get things going with a second Career Killer tournament, then at the following show, end the long-running PCW saga, before setting the RWF out on a new road. The current format of one FTA show a month on the last Saturday or Sunday is unlikely to change, but Biggie wants to bring in more original talent to complement the TWF oldies who will wish to appear. We do understand The Assassin is keen to return to the company, as is Blade.
• Expect to hear more from Echo in the future. The TWF management team has high hopes for the high-flier and she has impressed everyone with her willingness to learn. Her trainer, Mr. BIG, said she has the ability to be a real force in Women's wrestling.
• Another of Biggie's students, Sebastian Gross, has been getting amazing reviews for his promos and is a lock to be called-up to the TWF roster in late-2007. A possible Hardkore title program to begin his career is looking likely at this point.
• Any animosity shown towards Sophie due to her being "hand-picked" by Mr. BIG has completely disappeared this week. Sophie managed to beat Mr. BIG in a trivia quiz before Fury about the TWF. One backstage source said "Biggie doesn't take any prisoners when it comes to trivia, but Sophie clearly knows her stuff, and to beat her boss shows just how much she cares about this business". The discussion is that Sophie is going to be Mr. BIG's manager for a considerable period of time. Even though Biggie's promo cutting skills mean he does not require a manager, many feel that Sophie's association with Biggie will get her over in the eyes of the fans.

• The United States Congress have asked to speak to the TWF about it's successful drugs-testing program in relating to having a system imposed on professional wrestling in the US within years. The TWF will send documentation and representatives over to any potential hearings to put forward a system similar to their own, but within United States guidelines and laws.
• The reason Kristin Cavallari will be at Summer Break is apparently to promote the new season of her MTV show "The Hills" at MTV's request. This is so the TWF can invite the cast of another MTV show, "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" to Take No Prisoners in LA in September. Cavallari met with the company two weeks ago and she is happy to be involved with Summer Break and showed a good knowledge of the company.
• Unlike the Jackass crew's involvement at a match at WWE SummerSlam this year, the Laguna Beach cast involvement will not be in a wrestling capacity. The match will be a Women's Championship match and the cast are likely to be Lumberjills/Lumberjacks during the match.
• As usual at this time of year, the TWF is hearing of the revolving door of superstars coming and going. We do know that Big Martin, Aaron Hill, Ron Lindberg, Matthew Wright, Jon Bennetta and The Fox will continue in the company beyond October, as will The Rich and Hades. Despite the rumours of a long list of leavers this year, the list is actually much shorter than many speculated, with only Joey Davies, Marz and Tom Williams being the causalities.
• Mr. BIG, Frekishi, Dougie Christian, The Fox, Aaron Hill and NJS were all at a party a few weeks ago and they ran into The Shott. The Shott, who has not been seen since his departure from the company in January, says he is not entertaining a comeback run at this present time, but would like to be involved in a possible RWF re-run when that gets going later this year.
• High Voltage also contacted Mr. BIG two weeks ago about such a venture, but he says that he will not be involved for a long period of time as he departs to Agricultural College in September. During his TWF tenure, HV has run a fairly successful farm and is heading to college to improve his knowledge of the sector.
• Mr. BIG has announced that even if the scheduled XWF re-run does not take off successfully, he will be booking an XWF One Wild Night in September when the TWF will be in the US. It is likely to be the Sunday after Take No Prisoners whilst the TWF is still in the country. He has already booked the Allstate Arena in Chicago, the site of the first two XWF PPVs in 2001.
• Biggie has informed The Bandit that he would like all XWF stars past and present to be involved in some way, shape or form, with particular prominence to the guys who wrestled in the TWF and kept the "XWF spirit" alive. Biggie has noted however that he does not want to wrestle in the main event of the card, although many sponsors will only sponsor the event if Biggie main events due to the draw that he is to the card.
• Biggie has confirmed that Big Sexy Badass, Silver, Ottobomb, Dope C, Deadman K, The Gravedigger, Nevermore, Axel Foley, Bubba Jones are the names he has contacted and will appear on the card.
• Now, it is looking increasingly likely that NJS will return to the TWF in some form in 2008. NJS is likely to get another TWF World Championship run, and might even be a heel for a short while.
• There has been some criticism lately that Mr. BIG's act has grown stale once more and it might not be able to be reinvented like it has been in the past. However, Biggie has been opened up to the possibility of turning heel in 2008, possibly during a feud with NJS.
• The 2007 King of Xtreme match has been highly speculated backstage, but, many expect it will be the "Ultraviolent X" concept match that was due to be held in 2005, but never got the chance to be made. We also understand that at the first pay‐per‐view of 2008, the New Year Rumble will make it's long awaited return under a new name. Mr. BIG has petitioned to rename the match: Time Crisis.

• The TWF was celebrating after Against All Odds last week in a massive way as the company's immediate future was secure. The TWF signed a new deal with Sky. The original contract signed in January was a six-month temporary deal, with Sky wanting to see if the TWF could still draw. The TWF's ratings, despite being shunted about onto various networks at very little notice, have been very impressive and show that fans still want to watch the programs and buy the pay‐per‐views. Therefore, Sky have signed an extended two year deal. Despite significant interest from five and Virgin Media, Sky are believed to be paying one of their highest amounts outside of sports to keep the TWF on it's channels.
• As a result of this, despite all of the TWF's Televised output being filmed in high-definition since January, they have not been aired on a HD Channel. Starting with the Grit BasH following Summer Break, the Grit BasH will air on Sky One HD, whilst remaining on Sky Three in SD. The deal will also enable the TWF to bankroll an xWn HD, which is likely to be free to subscribers to the original xWn, which has frozen it's subscription fee again this year. It is expected an xWn HD Channel will launch in mid-July and will show some NHL games in high-def as well, a first for the NHL.
• The other big news this weekend to emerge from TWF Towers is that the TWF will air it's first four-hour pay‐per‐view outside of Summer Break in November at Dangerously Serious. The TWF has spoken to all pay‐per‐view providers and they have no objections to the change. The event, at the TWF Arena, will feature the TWF King of the Ring tournament, but, we also understand the TWF will finally introduce the "Gates of Hell" match at the event, which is likely to take around 20 minutes to set up.
• Another piece of interesting news this week was that Mr. BIG and The Bandit have spoken to each other for the first time since Summer Break VI. The two, who are always on good terms, spoke to each other about the same idea which was pitched by both: a one-off XWF reunion show. Biggie proposed this last year but due to the TWF's situation, this was not possible. Bandit says that he has already booked Chicago's United Center for the event in September, around the sixth-anniversary of the XWF's first PPV, Bad Blood. Biggie has said he will definitely be there, whilst Mastermind will also be allowed to appear. Luckily, the TWF will be in the US for the Take No Prisoners PPV at the same time, so it's unlikely the duo will miss any TV time.
• Bandit has also got in contact with JT Money, Big Sexy Badass, Silver, Ottobomb, Dope C, Bubba Jones and they are likely to appear. Rivers, DGA, Jazzer, Ch3zi, Nolan, Banzai, Axel Foley and Nevermore, among others are yet to be contacted but have spoken in interviews of their desire to do one more XWF show.
• Louise and Mr. BIG were seen conversing at length last weekend at a pre-Against All Odds party. Although many have disputed the two's friendship in recent years, there is no doubt in this informer's mind that these two are simply just great friends. Some superstars have been quoted as saying Biggie is "delusional" for thinking he has a friend in Louise, but the two continually speak highly of each other. Louise has stated that she would like to manage Biggie again, but due to the success of Sophie lately, this is doubtful. Contrary to popular belief, Biggie is not dating Sophie. She has a long-term boyfriend who is an ice hockey player.
• The TWF is looking to be calling up some of it's developmental stars soon. Justin Polaris, Mick O'Brian, The Avenger and Sebastian Gross are looking to be the four names who will be called up around September, with a few more to be called up to the main roster by January 2008. Many are calling this group to be "far and away the best lot we've had come through", as these were the first group who went through The Asylum then BCW, where as most in BCW simply went into the organisation, bypassing The Asylum.
• Expect to hear much more from Ron Lindberg after September. When most of the roster will move on, Lindberg is expected to be pushed to the fore, as he has an amazing talent in the ring. He will continue to team with Aaron Hill for the time being, but it is expected that he will form a singles career somewhere down the line.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• The TWF has entered negotiations to re-unite a famous wrestling stable from the past. After Ric Flair appeared at Summer Break a few years ago, and Arn Anderson's current involvement with the company, as well as the release of The Four Horsemen DVD, the TWF wants to re-unite Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard and James J. Dillon for a pre-Summer Break banquet being held at The Bridgend Hotel on the site of the Bridgend Dome. The legitimate heat between Ole and Flair is proving a real hard point, but many are at least hopeful that Flair and Arn will be there. Mr. BIG is a big fan of Blanchard's and is pushing hard to get him involved with the event, just so he can say that Blanchard was in "his ring".
• If that deal falls through, although they may do it if it does not, Mick Foley is being lined up to guest referee some kind of match at Summer Break, as a thank you for the work he did for the company, particularly during his time as XCW Commissioner. Also, the company is pushing desperately to get Megadeth to perform at the event as well. Roadrunner are lukewarm to the idea, but it would entirely depend on Megadeth and whether they would like to return to the wrestling environment. Dave Mustaine does not speak kindly of the band's appearance on WCW Monday Nitro in 1999 to perform "Crush'em", which at the time was Goldberg's theme song. Megadeth would perform at most three songs: the Summer Break theme (at this time only confirmed to be a track from their new album), The Jocks's theme once, and The Assassin's theme.
• Marz has shocked Mr. BIG by telling him he would like to leave pro-wrestling completely by the end of 2007. Although Marz was originally intending to see out the duration of his TWF contract, Marz told Biggie last Friday after FURY that he wanted to leave wrestling with a clean slate and move into architecture as soon as possible. Marz was behind the Embassy Coliseum re-design, but wants to go onto further projects. He wants to set up an agency with another current TWF wrestler, Joey Davies.
• Members of the TWF front office have recently been seen looking at vacant office lots in the Swansea Bayfront area, with rumours pointing to a TWF Towers2 being built there. The company wants to expand their base in South Wales, and with a presence in Cardiff already, Swansea would be the next place on the map. Already there are rumours that contract for a piece of land has been signed and that building will commence at the beginning of July and be finished by November, thanks to the TWF already having designed the offices.
• Sophie has managed to settle in very well backstage, surprising many who suspected she would be the cause of huge tension. Many expected the TWF females to resent her as she was initially viewed as "Biggie's pet" and that she only came up when she did because Biggie has the hots for her. After many began speaking to her backstage, the feeling was that she was going to come up anyway regardless of Biggie's involvement.
• Dougie Christian, Jon Bennetta, Aaron Hill & Frekishi missed Grit BasH this week due to being involved in a car crash. Christian was tailgating a friend when they suddenly stopped at a junction. Christian, who only recently received his Renault 5 Rally Car, failed to brake in time and wrote off his Renault 5, with similar damage to the friend of the superstar's car. NJS, unlike many outlets were reporting, is actually in his Carolina home this month and was nowhere to be found. As a result of the crash, Grit BasH was changed last minute as Frekishi was scheduled to main event.
• Hill has been treading a thin line backstage in the past few weeks. Originally, Mr. BIG saw masses of potential in his friend, but Hill has feigned illness lately to get out of house show cards, and when he returns, he is quick to mock Biggie over his past. Many know that whilst Biggie is a very nice, jokey guy, references to some of his past are strictly out of bounds for superstars at the company's request. Most of the superstars will not bring incidents up anyway, such as the twice Biggie has been placed under false arrest for rape, but Hill constantly brings them up in casual conversation and laughs at Biggie. This has not made him very popular at all and explains why has been sort of buried lately. Hill has complained, but still jokes, therefore creating a vicious circle for himself.
• Disturbed and Zero have become a great fit backstage and are willing to receive some tuition from older guys on some of their moves. Although the two have looked polished in the ring, they were surprised to become Tag-Team Champions so soon in their careers, but this is a reflection the faith the TWF has in them.
• Mr. BIG, in an unusual frank admission on The Last Word, revealed the five men he expects to be major players in the next two years: Hades, Eric Herrera, Ron Lindberg, Assassin and an un-named guy down in BCW. Although many expect it to be Sebastian Gross, it could be Justin Polaris.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: May 21, 2007

• Mr. BIG and Tom Williams have enjoyed working together in their program lately. Although on television they have an intense rivalry, Biggie and Williams have great respect off the screen and backstage frequently speak, particularly about business, as Williams graduated from Imperial College London with an impressive degree in finance. The two are expected to hook up later in the year for another feud.
• The idea of using Charlotte Church in the angle between Biggie and Williams was the suggestion of Holly, who's good friend and one-time Jock manager, Amee, is good friends with the singer. Church, who is pregnant, was only shown backstage, but played a vital role in the night's proceedings. Church is likely to comment on the appearance on the next edition of her Channel 4 talk show, "The Charlotte Church Show", which is likely to go head-to-head with Biggie's own "The Last Word".
• The début of Sophie at Last Man Standing certainly caused a few eyebrows to be raised backstage. Sophie, who was in training during the TWF's downtime was actually a well-kept secret by Biggie. She trained at The Asylum last year for a short while and impressed many, but she disappeared for a long time. It turns out Biggie was helping her move back from Kingswood, Texas to Bridgend, where she grew up, and he gave her extra assistance in the ring in his garage. Sophie is currently living with Biggie, and friends have said she is by far the best manager Biggie has had. Expect to see plenty more of her in recent months, as many backstage are high on not only her amazing looks (when she turned up, many wrestlers backstage swore she had just come off a movie set she was so stunning), but her amazing skill and knowledge. Although she is not a brilliant wrestler, she could support Biggie excellently.
• More Summer Break VIII talk now, and it appears the TWF is debating about the event once more. However, it is only the event's theme song causing debate backstage. The set is already in construction and has been promised by one backstage source to be "the most amazing thing we've ever done". Although this reporter's favourite set remains the Halloween Hell "Genocide City" set from a few years back, this one promises to be huge.
• The organisation looks to continue an established tradition and change it's planned Summer Break main event. Originally, Mastermind was going to face Matthew Jones in a re-match from Last Man Standing. However, Jones himself felt that he wouldn't be able to main event a PPV like Summer Break at this stage in his career in such a huge match. Therefore, it is expected that Jones, who has done an excellent job in his current feud with Mastermind, will fill in lower down the card. Of those currently in the frame, Frekishi looks most likely to headline, although Marz is also another name being tossed around, along with Mr. BIG and a deal to bring in Ottobomb is also possible.
• Former TWF old boy Matthew D. Jones could be making a return. After turning up at what is being referred to as "the old boys show" Grit BasH a few weeks back, Jones went to BCW for a try-out and surprised many seeing as he had not wrestled in seven years. Whether he comes up to the main roster is another thing. He will definitely go under a new name however, as it will confuse fans with the "other" Matthew Jones being a bigger draw in the company nowadays.
• The RWF will make it's long awaited return next Sunday, May 27, with a show entitled Only the Good Die Young. It will feature some RWF old-boys, as usual, such as High Voltage, but it will also be the in-ring return of Jean Claude Van Slam (who is speculated to return to the TWF) and The Shott will also feature in what is expected to be his official retirement.
• The TWF is considering making the RWF it's new development territory when BCW closes in July. Every former BCW old-boy is expected to attend the final show on July 23, including former trainers such as Mr. BIG and even NJS. An all-star card is being constructed for the event. In terms of the RWF taking over, it wouldn't take much to do. The RWF has established training facilities in place, a strong events calendar as well as a fan base. Many would see the current roster as a problem, but many of the current roster is expected to be out by the end of 2007, as like many, they are conducting a mass exodus from Bridgend.
• The TWF is also bracing itself for lots of losses in 2007. The two biggest names leaving are Joey Davies and Marz, who are heading elsewhere in pursuit of their architecture ventures. But, in another first, more names have announced their plans to stay, including Biggie himself, Big Martin, Aaron Hill and Matthew Wright.
• The Multimedia Department is facing a dilemma of it's own at the moment, as they have been confronted with an issue over the new DVD format war. With the first sets of new PPV DVDs due to be released this month, it is likely the TWF will be making a loss on each HD-DVD and BluRay disc sold. However, fans are happy that the TWF will support both formats for the time being. But, there is talk that Sony are interested in a PS3 tie-in for Summer Break that is likely to mean dropping HD-DVD support.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: May 4, 2007

• The TWF will announce this weekend that Grit BasH is moving to Sky Three after Last Man Standing. The TWF has been, for lack of a better term, extremely pissed off, about the fact that Grit BasH has been shunted around the Sky Sports schedule for many months, and it has not only upset the TWF, who will not have a "regular home" to advertise, but many fans, who's series links were increasingly becoming invalid.
• Grit BasH was actually given a slot on Sky One, but Mr. BIG personally rejected it saying that Sky One just wouldn't work for them. The real reason Mr. BIG wanted Sky Three can be summed up in one word: Freeview. With Sky Three being the only Sky Entertainment channel on the platform, the TWF's audience will almost double literally overnight thanks to the move.
• The company continues to shock in terms of superstar movement as well. There is an EXTREMELY strong rumour that a former TWF World Champion will be involved with the company at Summer Break. His name? High Voltage. With the return of JCVS coming in the next few months, it would be speculated that HV would come to the company full-time. However, HV has instead decided to concentrate an agricultural engineering degree in England. Therefore, he only wants to make a farewell appearance before he embarks on his new career.
• This is the case for a LONG list of TWF alumni who are moving onto pastures new this summer and leaving the country. There will be some kind of segment at Summer Break VIII with some TWF old boys, confirming their status as exactly that - old boys.
• NJS has become an increasingly bad influence on members of the roster in the last couple of weeks. Using his well-kept money from his wrestling days, he is constantly out partying and driving his new 07 Corvette around South Wales. At many points in the last couple of weeks, he has got close to getting Frekishi, "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta, Joey Davies and Matthew Wright, amongst others fired by agreeing to car pool them to events, but only turning up halfway through the show. It reached a head last Wednesday, where the absence of those four men was well spotted by observers.
• Although NJS has constantly said he has absolutely no intention of returning to professional wrestling, many in the company, including Biggie himself, believe that if they put a big enough offer on the table for him, he will come back work the one program he always wanted to work: versus Mr. BIG. Talk of it being a potential Summer Break main event in 2008 is continuing.
• Mr. BIG has become increasingly annoyed with the backstage politicking occurring between superstars backstage. Despite the fact that the wrestler's rep, Mastermind, is doing a good job, it is not on his agenda to raise the issue. Biggie has warned those who are deemed trouble makers he will have no hesitation in showing them the door in the next couple of months.
• Biggie and Marz have been hanging around "like the old days" lately. The two have realised despite not talking for the best part of 5 years, they still have a lot in common and Marz's future, for a change, looks rather secure.
• Bryan Daniels is rapidly becoming a favourite backstage with wrestlers and staff alike. Since débuting on Time Out two years ago, the argumentative gentleman has stirred things up at the announce table and Daniels and Hudson have formed arguably the best announcing duo in the TWF's history. Daniels was considered an odd choice as Colour Commentator when he was given the role in 2006, and many expected Michael King, who has filled on in colour before to take the role. But, the TWF wanted, for the first time since Paul Heyman left the promotion in 2004, to have a face-heel duo at the table. This has worked extremely successfully, as many would agree.
• The TWF has announced that their podcasts will get a new graphical look in the next few days. "The Hot Shot Podcast", hosted by Daniels, is among the most popular on iTunes at the moment and Daniels was interviewed about it on Sky Sport's Soccer AM All-Sports Show earlier tonight. Mr. BIG's "The Last Word" is coming up strong in second place, and the round-table discussion of the "Saturday Sound Off" with a TWF star, broadcaster, independent pundit and resident fan is growing strongly, but is currently third out of the three.
• Jessica Mancini has also been getting credit lately for her take on promos backstage. All of the TWF "2005" announcers are said to be doing extremely well, including Kaysie Anderson and Karli Andrews. Former RWF announcer Alexis Coles maybe brought into the company to expand the group as Kaysie, Karli and Alexis all worked together in the beginning of their days and share a house together in Brackla.
• There is talk that the George Wimpey Arena behind Mr. BIG's house is going to be demolished soon. Although it was well designed, the plan to lure a sports team to the venue simply hasn't worked as the former Air Cymru Arena, Broadlands Arena, is maintaining it's reputation for being one of the top arenas in the country. If it does end up being demolished, then it is unlikely the TWF will be performing less in Broadlands.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: April 21, 2007

• The TWF has recently entered negotiations with Jean Claude Van Slam about a possible return to the organisation. This considered huge news within the company as many thought JCVS would never return as he was going to join the British Army. However, JCVS failed his medical due to an injury he suffered almost 3 years ago but still causes some pain for him. The TWF has agreed to fund a potential operation with a view to an in-ring return by the end of the year. JCVS would be catapulted into the World Title picture at this time as well.
• On the subject of negotiations, many fans are hopeful of a possible NJS return to the TWF. NJS has shot this down on many occasions and continues to do so. NJS is done with wrestling and is unlikely to return full-time as his heart is not in the business anymore.
• The TWF is looking to sign a deal with Virgin Media this week about adding TWF programming lost out by viewers caught up in the Sky Carriage deal to the company's Video On-Demand service. However, the TWF may look to switch to Virgin Media full-time. Upper Management have been particularly angry at Sky's inability to give the TWF a certain channel and time for Grit BasH. They are also angry at their management of The Last Word with Mr. BIG on Sky One. Five are looking at launching an impressive package to nab Grit BasH and The Last Word and the première episode of Warzone. This is all up in the air at present and don't expect an announcement until June.
• Roadrunner Records have signed a deal with the TWF to use the music of their artists in Video Packages and Theme Songs on TWF TV and more importantly, DVDs. Roadrunner commented on the deal that the TWF was a "major way to get fans into the music of their artists". The deal began with the use of Killswitch Engage's song, "Reject Yourself" as the Easter HeAT theme, as the use of the new song by Megadeth, "Washington is Next" was supposed to be a one-off. This means the TWF now has deals with Warner Bros, Sony Music Entertainment, Sanctuary Records and Roadrunner, with deals with Nuclear Blast and Century Media in the works.
• Contrary to popular belief, the TWF superstars actually have a hand in choosing their theme song. Although they are open to suggestions, a lot of superstars choose their own themes and the TWF negotiates for the rights to use them. The noted exception is The Fox's use of Queensr˙che's "Breaking the Silence" which was Mr. BIG's idea. The Fox disliked it immensely until his second match with the song, which the Fox noted had an increased reception than usual. He's stuck with it ever since.
• There ramblings backstage that the company is looking to get the involvement of MTV USA for the marketing of Summer Break in America. Although the TWF is seen as a mainstream "rock" promotion, the TWF conducted market research and found a crossover been TWF fans and MTV viewers. The writers originally pitched to have Bam Margera come into the promotion and work an angle with the Blood Brothers back in 2003, but after Margera's MTV contract was up, the deal died. However, the TWF is looking into having the cast of Laguna Beach: The Real OC showing up at Summer Break.
• Mr. BIG has recently been seen conversing with his former manager, Rebekah. The two remain great friends outside of the ring, and there is talk that Biggie could get her back involved in the promotion. The two reported sat down for lunch in Cardiff about a week ago and they were overheard discussing a possible return. Rebekah is lined up as being the manager of an up-and-coming upper midcarder who needs a mouthpiece to help him into the main event. This alludes to either Big Martin or The Fox. The two were also heard talking about "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta's return. Apparently, the original story was extremely abstract to actual events. The two were said to be talking about Jon Bennetta's great friend, Louise. Louise apparently call Jon's up at Jon's house and took him for a drive, talking about life, but more importantly about a return to the TWF. It is no secret that Bennetta is in love with Louise, but whether she returns the favour is uncertain, and Mr. BIG's take on the angle is supposedly what is driving Bennetta's program with Josh Jericho (another one of Louise's great friends) along. There remains speculation that Biggie would again be managed by Louise, but he doubts that very much. Louise still ranks Biggie as one of her "Top 3" friends in the world however.
• Expect Dougie Christian to be featured more heavily on TV in the near future. The writers believe Christian's persona has a lot of potential and the possibility to go in many directions. Although in many shows he has been seen as a tag team partner for Frekishi, under the name "Motor Club", Christian is expected to go into a singles career, building possibly on a real life grudge he has with The Rich, which came about due to another one of Mr. BIG's former managers, Siân.
• The TWF has already begun to plan next year's Summer Break, although this year's event has yet to take place. As everyone knows, the TWF revolves around Summer Break and this year the TWF is shaking things up with an unusual looking card at this moment. However, preliminary plans for Summer Break IX (yeah, we can't believe it will be 9 years either), will see The Assassin facing Nytro, Mastermind taking on Deadman and Mr. BIG taking on Hades.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: March 8, 2007

• Although Paul Heyman was the first choice to become the TWF's new Commissioner, other names mentioned as being possible were Captain Lou Albano, Eric Bischoff, Nick Bockwinkel, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, Bret Hart, Chris Jericho and Paul Bowen.
• A new class of Asylum and BCW graduates are scheduled to filter onto the roster over the next year or so. The most promising of which is said to be Nytro, who is said to be a powerhouse of strength and technical ability. Sebastian Gross is another touted prospect, who is becoming increasingly known for his promos in BCW, which have become nothing short of legend in the area.
• With the press picking up on the Mr. BIG/Gavin Henson fracas, expect more to come from the story in the next couple of weeks. After Henson "crashed" Biggie's sister's wedding in September, Henson has not been a friend of the TWF's. However, he is a good friend of many of The Jocks, and a potentially lucrative involvement with the federation is possible with him out of Wales's Six Nations campaign and needing to return to the public eye after losing several advertising deals lately. Henson will not be booked in a match, but he will be involved in a program with The Jocks, possibly with Mr. BIG.
• Mr. BIG has reportedly contacted some former TWF superstars to see if they are interested in joining the RWF when it re-starts later this year. Biggie has booked venues and has set-up contracts for the event with many of the usual RWF cast, but is interested to see if the likes of Hawke would wrestle for the company.
• The TWF should announce at No Way BacK the venue for Summer Break VIII. It is speculated that it will take place at The Bridgend Dome. The TWF has not scheduled a pay‐per‐view for the Dome then until after 2008, with many wondering if the Dome has really served it's purpose. The Dome is now getting used more frequently however, as the TWF recently announced that Metallica will play the venue in July, with Megadeth's Gigantour festival playing in September.
• The rest of the TWF's pay‐per‐view dates and venues for 2007 should also be set in stone around the end of March. The biggest change from the original schedule released at the end of last year is the expected change of the September pay‐per‐view to Take No Prisoners. The event will take place in Los Angeles and the TWF is looking to get some big stars to show up. Many in the company feel however that this could take some of the shine off Summer Break if people know that a bigger show is a month later. The TWF however has promised that Summer Break VIII will deliver and that Take No Prisoners will follow on from tradition and set the path for the TWF's year ahead. King of the Ring will return this year and it appears that the tournament format will return, with "The Sweet 16" format used in 2003 making it's long awaited return. It is anticipated that the matches will lead to a final at Dangerously Serious in November. The King of Xtreme match for 2007 has already been devised and will be featured on the Halloween Hell card.
• Big Martin has impressed many lately with his willingness to learn and his knowledge of the business. Although he was primarily a bit-part player during his time in XCW, Martin has told friends that he is having the time of his life in the TWF at the moment. The TWF may repay his confidence in them with a possible big push next year.
• The Assassin is close to making a return to the company. He is currently resolving some personal issues as his wife is expecting his first child in the next few weeks and he wants to be around for the first couple of months of the newborn's life before returning. He is expected to pick up where he left off and enter the hunt for the TWF World Championship.
• There are increasing suggestions this week that a possible FX reunion is on the cards. Marz suggested it to Mr. BIG, and surprisingly, Biggie agreed, saying that it could work. Biggie did say he was apprehensive over timing, saying that he wants The Jocks to be pushed as the №1 Stable in the TWF at the moment and feels an FX reunion would crap all over the work they have done pushing The Jocks. Marz did suggest that Biggie and himself were joined by Jon Bennetta as well as a returning Joey Davies and unnamed tag team partner.
• Mr. BIG has informed TWF staff members that he is likely to begin working a bigger in-ring schedule in 2007, with a view to returning to old ways in 2008. Biggie says that after the TWF's long hiatus, his batteries are fully recharged and he wants to wrestle consistently again. One of the reasons a Commissioner role has returned to the TWF is so that Mr. BIG's managerial responsibilities have a formidable alternative. Although Biggie knows full well that the TWF fans will not forget he is the MD & CEO, he may step-down as MD in 2008 and lead the way for current Board Member and COO Tom Green to take the helm.
• TWF Chairman Mr. Edwards is unlikely to be making a return to television until August. This is because Edwards has concentrated on other projects for the time being.
• "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta has spoken lately about the differences in the company during his seven-year "break" and says that the change is astronomical. He states that the change backstage has been magnificent and that the work done now is of a much higher standard than his original tenure. Bennetta says that due to his health, he cannot see him lasting much longer than another year in the company, but says he wants to have as much fun as ever.
