THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: December 22, 2008

• Morale in the TWF Locker Room at PayBack this weekend was very good. Most of the staff were happy to be at the last live show before the Christmas break, and won't see each other until the Best of 2008 Awards Dinner. Only some production staff and the announcers had to come in on Monday to shoot the Best of 2008 specials and then they were done for the holidays. The Best TWF Matches ever filming was wrapped a few days earlier, unless there was an addition from PayBacK. The entire TWF staff had a formal Christmas meal on Saturday at TWF Towers, and after PayBacK, all of the company's employees were bussed to an exclusive night spot in Swansea where they partied until the early hours.
• Many people were happy with the way the Devil's Den match came across on the show. Some had their doubts, especially about the finish to the match, but the cheers that Deadman received when he was helped to his feet proved the point of many. The TWF hopes it can become an annual match much like the Time Crisis and House of Pain matches. Speaking of the Time Crisis match, word is that there will be some surprises during that match, including a début of a TWF prospect.
• The other major talking point was the spectacular finish to the Matthew Wright/Sebastian Gross match that took place in Porthcawl's promenade and in the Bristol Channel. This was a suggestion of Mr. BIG and was a highlight of the pay‐per‐view for many. The feud between the two will be extended for the first part of 2009 and will again be a highlight, if backstage talk is to be believed.
• In fact, a lot of credit has to be given to Biggie for the company's revival since August. Many TV critics have noted the company's increased performance despite the current economic situation, and it is largely down to the better storylines, and the more in-depth role the road agents are now taking with performers, especially trying to establish a beginning, a middle and an end to their works.
• Louise was backstage at PayBacK visiting friends, which came as a pleasant surprise to many who had not seen her in some time, especially Mr. BIG and NJS. NJS still is on good terms with his ex-girlfriend and she spoke at length with him. Biggie was also pleasantly surprised to see his good friend and they had a deep conversation about life than ended with a trademark big kiss and hug from Biggie. She was asked by others about whether she could contemplate a full-time return, but Louise said that life is treating her well at the moment and only confirmed she would be taking part in the Tenth Anniversary festivities.
• Speaking of NJS, he has been critical in interviews lately of some former TWF superstars, not least "MasterStroke" Aaron Hill. Hill was a great friend of the current World Champion, before incidents prior to his exit from the TWF in 2007 and stories about him from 2008 have made him undesirable. "How he remains popular backstage is beyond me. Some of the younger guys look up to him, which is quite sad, because he accomplished absolutely nothing whilst he was here, where as you have guys like Justin Polaris who don't get the respect they deserve for being great human beings as well as fantastic wrestlers". NJS was on Soccer AM on Saturday to promote PayBacK and was successful in his attempt at the show's famous Road to Rome game.
• There is some interesting news developing about a potential romance between Jessica Roberts and John Harper. A lot of old-timers backstage are a bit disgruntled that a relative newcomer to the company is dating a female superstar, as usually this is something reserved for top superstars. However, the two have the backing of the people that matter backstage, the least of which the "Holy Trinity" of Marz, Mr. BIG and NJS. Marz & Michelle and NJS & Lucy Rose are still all together, whilst, to put it politely, Mr. BIG has dated a few of the girls in his time.
• Mastermind, Mary-Anne and Jean Claude Van Slam also made an appearance on Noel's Christmas Presents on Sky One (via tape) on Sunday to make a dream come true to a young TWF fan who was desperate to watch the shows live, but due to waiting for a kidney transplant, was unable to. The three showed up to offer the young lad a personalised TWF World Championship belt, VIP tickets to Reality Check and No Way BacK, and via video message, Mr. BIG and Marz also offered to pay off the young lad's medical bills. Many people in the audience were flattered by the TWF's generosity and offered them a standing ovation, which moved Mary-Anne and JCVS to tears.
• Some people have been asking why the TWF does not seem to be suffering due to the global financial situation. The simple reason is 2006. During 2006, the TWF cut costs during the upgrade to HDTV. 2007 was the TWF's most successful year ever, and the TWF continues to do well with international TV rights and DVD/BluRay sales, as well as ticket sales, so the TWF continues to be healthy financially.
• Sophie will continue in her roll as Commish through the early part of 2009, as a big storyline is being planned for her, that will enable her to leave. Sophie will head to New York City in March to further her career as a graphic fashion designer, although the way the story is being constructed will mean she could return. Sophie is a well-liked person backstage, who is known for her quiet demeanour, but can hold a great conversation should she choose to. Sophie has been responsible for some of the TWF's latest t-shirt designs which have been big sellers.
• The first PWC shows were given a lukewarm reception by many in the company, which is a response many expected. The TWF want to build PWC from the ground up and get things right slowly but surely. Whilst the TWF would like there to be a production line for new stars for the company, they know that this is not entirely possible. There is a plan to have a guest TWF wrestler make appearances at each tapings to spice things up once in a while as well.
• I have caught wind of some of the plans for early 2009 and some of the plans sound absolutely splendid. I have heard rumours that the TWF is looking to bring in some celebrities for a big match at No Way BacK to combat the WWE's WrestleMania 25, but whether the plans are pulled off depend on a lot of circumstances being beneficial to both parties. For example, MMA fighter Gina Carano has been contacted to take on Rio in a match this year, and model Kaylee Carver has also been asked to do some work around No Way BacK time.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: November 20, 2008

• Many of the TWF wrestlers were present at the David Haye boxing card on Saturday night at the O2 Arena. It is speculated, that despite the publicised shooting at the Urban Music Awards last week, the TWF will announce on Sunday that the O2 is the venue for next year's Summer Break. Much of the TWF talent also stayed up late to catch Brock Lesnar's victory over Randy Couture in UFC in a bar in London before retiring to their hotels. Morale amongst TWF wrestlers this week has been on a high as many are excited to be in London for the pay‐per‐view. The company gave talent the option whether to stay in London all week, or commute up only for the dates the company has there. Much of the roster is staying in London, with many happy that they get to do "touristy things" whilst there.
• Marz and Mr. BIG have been seen together a lot recently, sparking rumours of a reunion between the two. The two have been reminiscing about growing up together a lot lately, with Biggie even stating that the relationship between the two former bitter rivals is "better than ever". The two were also overheard discussing High Voltage and their relationship with him, with Marz remarking that he has not spoken to him in almost three years.
• Sophie's decision to move to NYC was met with some disapproval backstage, which has lead for Sophie to reconsider leaving. She is a popular roster member backstage and is popular with fans, meaning she would be a big loss. One rumour I haven't been able to confirm is whether she's moved back into Mr. BIG's house, as she had another big argument with her ex-boyfriend, and Biggie has received many phone calls from her.
• Mr. Edwards is considering his position at the moment, as he suffered a set back in his recovery from his neck/shoulder surgery. He has been told he won't be able to wrestle again, and is unsure if seeing as he will not be able to be involved in on camera storylines whether he should retire his on-screen character. If he retires, he will retain his Chairman duties for the time being, but did tell Mr. BIG that he would look to drop them. If Edwards does quit, for the first time in the TWF's history, no member of the Edwards family will be a regular roster member.
• Grit BasH's ratings did not shoot up quite as much as expected due to there being a program of international football on Wednesday that took a lot of viewers away. However, Virgin Media did say that they were particularly impressed with how many people watched Grit BasH on their platform.
• Jessica Roberts will début new theme music in the next two weeks or so, after the band who originally produced her theme song, Pendulum, were quoted as disliking their association with her and her character. In an interview in the London Metro, the band say their biggest regret was letting the song become her theme. Jessica was disheartened by the comments, as were the TWF, who promptly sent Pendulum a memo showing how the sales of their album increased after Jessica's début.
• Hall of Famer Hawke has been doing some interviews about his new acting roles, and was asked a lot about his TWF days. Hawke looks back on them with fondness and did not shy away from questions about how his sexuality was questioned by many backstage. Hawke notes one of his biggest supporters was Mr. BIG, who he calls a "great friend", and did say that plenty of people were not comfortable with him, and wanted him out of the company. Hawke says he has been invited to the tenth anniversary proceedings next February and March and he looks forward to seeing some old faces.
• The PWC card is shaping up nicely. The first show will be on November 30 at the Asylum Arena with a bell time of 7pm. The show will feature some BCW old boys and some TWF talent to get the ball rolling. The TWF is considering doing a sub-site of the TWF Web for the new development federation, a first in the company's history. One source says that the current crop of development talent will not take much work for them to a work a TWF style, as they are of a high standard anyway.
• A new format of pay‐per‐view pre-show will start from PayBacK onward. The TWF production staff were watching some old WWF tapes from the early 90s and want to emulate that format with a new twist. The "Big Five" pay‐per‐view events will get their own signature music to match and play in promos as well as the standard theme music.
• The news that TWF Power and Glory 2 will only be available on "next-gen" consoles was not met with as much criticism as was originally thought. Many fans did look excited with a "Story" and "Career" modes, as well as downloadable content such as new PPV sets, retro attires and new superstars. A date of Summer 2009 is slated for release.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• Grit BasH's figures should shoot back up from November 19 as Virgin has reached a deal to bring Sky's channels back to it's Virgin Media platform. Grit BasH's availability to Virgin viewers has been a massive gripe with internet forum users, with many fans complaining on the TWF, Virgin, Sky and independent forums about the switch from Sky Three to Sky One. Fan reaction has been overwhelmingly positive to the move.
• Sophie has told friends that she will be moving to New York City in 2009 to pursue her graphical fashion design career in the city. This came as a shock to everyone but Sophie's closest friends, who are unsurprised but delighted. Mr. BIG, who she still lives with, was told of the news and shortly after, returned from a day at TWF Towers to find Sophie's belongings gone as she had moved back in with her ex-boyfriend (and father of her miscarriage baby) whilst she finds somewhere to rent. Ironically, Mr. BIG flew over to New York with his uncle and TWF CFO Alastair Edwards to be present for the Joe Calzaghe-Roy Jones Jr. boxing match at Madison Square Garden that took place earlier today. Alastair is also in New York completing some TWF merchandise deals.
• Some of his close friends are beginning to worry about Mr. BIG as he is not as active in TWF roles since his return and has let his weight creep up, which some people feel is due to not being active in the ring and not having "support". Biggie took the news of Sophie's departure well at first, but has said to some people that he is devastated to lose her. Biggie admits that he sees Sophie as more than a friend, but she does not see him in another way since he left the company in January. Even as CEO, BIG does not turn up to as many events as many expect him to, he is often only there for administrative duties and consulting younger wrestlers, although my locker room sources says that he has not addressed his fellow TWF veterans for the behaviour he conducted on his departure and he constantly receives the cold shoulder from many.
• NJS's financial situation made some tabloid headlines this week - it was alleged that he had to give some money in a divorce settlement to his ex-wife Lita, and because XCW did not end the way he would have liked, he was in some serious debt, meaning he needed to return to the TWF to pay off his debts. Although there is a hint of truth in this statement, NJS insists that this is not the case and he returned to prove himself as being the best in the business.
• The TWF's bad week continued when it was announced by Transport for London that the Underground would not stay open longer for the week of the TWF's residence in London. As well as this, National Rail refuse to comment about staffing arrangements for after Dangerously Serious with rumours that they will be seriously under-staffed that weekend. The TWF has made an official complaint towards the government for "gross incompetence" and may seek financial damages if serious enough. Some TWF Board Members have been asked to head to London to negotiate and I will have further news in my next report.
• Rumours have also spread this week about Scott Hudson's status with the company. The two year deal he signed with the company runs out next May and serious thought is being given to a replacement play‐by‐play announcer, as some think Hudson would return to home to the United States. Popular consensus is that Michael King, who did work as a Colour Commentator for a few shows in 2004-2005, would get the first call, although Joey Styles is a name being mentioned due to his disgruntled status in WWE, as well as UFC announcer Mike Goldberg.
• Some backstage believe that the TWF All-Action Championship introduced recently is a way for the TWF to gain a foothold in MMA's growing popularity. In an interview broadcast on Sky Sports News last week, Deadman shot this idea down, stating that the belt was an "exciting concept" and was set about "preserving the kind of wrestling we used to see on World of Sport mixed with the TWF's own unique style". Before the belt design was submitted to Reggie Parks in September, the TWF did give thought to re-introducing the RWF No Limits or Genesis Championships, but decided against it. Park's features about designing the belt have been a success and will be included in the TWF Dangerously Serious DVD and BluRay as Bonus Features.
• Deadman appeared on Sky Sports News to plug Dangerously Serious and the TWF's Tour of England, which began on Friday with the first ever show in Cheltenham. Deadman said he was excited to bring the TWF to new parts of the UK that had not experienced TWF action before. Deadman was asked about WEW and said it is extremely unlikely the company would return, and is considering selling the video library to the TWF in the very near future. He is "extremely excited [… ] and proud" to be TWF World Champion at the moment and thinks that if any organisation can survive the global financial situation, it would be the TWF.
• The TWF Web was updated with a link to a new PWC website, meaning that the new development section will be called the Premier Wrestling Championship. The first show is scheduled for November 30 at the new Asylum Arena, although the TWF does state the name of the building is subject to change. The shows will air on Monday nights at 10pm on xWn2 initially, although the company will be given a slot on the larger channel should ratings be good. There are very few staff coming over from the BCW days, but most of the wrestlers will transfer over. The development wrestlers are extremely excited about their new surroundings and the TWF will have a card featuring some TWF talent.
• News on a sequel to the ultra-successful TWF Power and Glory video game is due to be announced this week. The original game was critically and commercially acclaimed. There are rumours that a PS2 version would be released and be able to use downloadable content, something not thought possible on the system. An initial release date of October 2009 is being speculated and like both Summer Break: The Game and Power and Glory, the TWF's own gaming division will handle the project.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: October 23, 2008

• The news that the TWF has bought the rights to TECW/NCW came as a shock to the locker room, with many questioning the deal. Mr. BIG appeared at the usual pre-show meeting to address talent about the acquisition. He said the TWF wants to produce DVDs and manage web content for the defunct company, something the company feels only it can do at the moment. The TWF is beginning to try to acquire much of the promotions Mr. BIG was an owner of to produce some DVDs of their content. Mr. BIG owns the RWF Video Library (from when he bought out the company in 2005) and now the TECW Library. The TWF properties the company want most however, the XCW and XWF libraries are unlikely to be bought at the moment however. The other part of the deal was that the NCW Network would become xWn2. The plan is for the network to carry sports programming that sometimes clashes with the TWF, such as NHL, SWHL, ELITE programming, as well as some of the NCW Network's own programming.
• Deadman and NJS missed last night's Grit BasH due to a family emergency. It emerged from many internet reports that their sister had announced her pregnancy to the family, and it was not met with pleasure, and as a result, the two have remained with their family to sort out the situation. Much of the rumour has been that the sister took objection to the family's reaction to the pregnancy, considering Deadman's girlfriend Ms. Sweet announced her pregnancy a month earlier to much joy from the family.
• A big splash was made in the free agency market - the TWF announced to the roster that Patrick McCarthy will be starting with the company in 2009. Whilst he sits out his no compete clause from UCW, McCarthy entertained many offers, including from US fed FMW, but chose the TWF. He is likely to complete a stint in the new development territory before coming up to the main roster. Disgruntled FMW star Eric Scorpio has been making calls to TWF Towers about a possible stint in the company, but his no-compete clause is much longer than most FMW stars due to his position on the card.
• As a result of fan demand due to the current global financial situation, the TWF is reviewing it's pay‐per‐view prices. Summer Break's price of £20 for the show will remain unchanged, but it is looking likely that the TWF will make 3-hour pay‐per‐views £10, 3 and a half hour shows £15, and 4-hour shows £20. This proposal received the most praise during the meeting held to discuss the situation, and is likely to become active as early as November. There is also a movement to make No Way BacK, Easter HeAT, Halloween Hell and Dangerously Serious 3 and a half hour shows on a permanent basis. This also gained praise and is likely to become active next year.
• The addition of an TV studio set-up to the Asylum that will hold up to 4,000 fans is almost complete and the TWF is already getting ready to organise the first card at the new venue. Shows will be held weekly on Saturdays, with occasional shows on Tuesday. The TWF is inviting BCW old boys to take part alongside the new trainees, and will feature a special championship for the Asylum trainees as well as a showcase for the upcoming TWF talent. Amazingly, the name is still undecided, but Premier Wrestling Championship (PWC) is looking the most likely option.
• Sophie was shown in some very unflattering pictures in a daily tabloid this week, with "Commish Drunk Shame" posted as a headline. Sophie was attended a friend's birthday party last weekend and was seen to get very drunk, and one photo pictured her falling over. Sophie was privately very angry with the photos, and her agent released a statement from her stating that as a single law-abiding individual, she did nothing wrong except have a good time. The company will not take any action, for as one source put it "they've had to put up with far worse than just one set of drunk photos appearing on the internet".
• Mr. BIG has continued in his CEO Role since his return, and was responsible for the NCW deal. He has been, as many have noticed, more quiet than usual backstage and has left shows whilst in progress when his duties are done. With many of Biggie's friends now out of the company, he no longer "needs" to stick around backstage longer than he is needed. Biggie is also single for the first prolonged period in many years and despite Sophie still living with him, they lead "separate lives" and often only see each other at breakfast.
• The TWF is promoting that the House of Pain match, usually held at PayBacK, is being moved to Dangerously Serious this year. Many think that the House of Pain is more of a fit with the November event. A new concept match will début at PayBacK in it's place however. Time Crisis will make a return in January this year, marking the first time since 2002 that the event will be held in two consecutive years.
• There was a plan to return to Dubai next year for another Bash at the Beach, but this has not materialised. There will also be no trip to the United States next year, but the TWF will spend three months in the country in early 2010 looking at preliminary calendars for the next few years.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• No plans have been contact The AshTaker to return for the TWF for the ongoing angle between his former stable mates Deadman and The Terminator. The AshTaker has not been seen or heard from by anyone in the TWF since his departure in early 2005. Taker's parents were extremely well off and it is thought he has joined them in starting a new life somewhere else.
• Mr. Edwards will get an increasing television in the next few weeks. Once the angle between Alexis Polaris and Sophie plays out, Edwards will return to play an increasingly prominent role in storylines. Thanks to his rehab, Edwards is almost back to full fitness. He is unlikely to wrestle, but the company only wanted to use him when he felt comfortable enough to continue.
• The announcement that the TWF is moving to Sky One from next Wednesday came as a surprise to absolutely no-one backstage, as it was known that this was happening when Sky One started to advertise the company. Sky are hoping to launch Sky Sports 4 in the next few months as a result of this, as the TWF now have a clause in the contract that they can't be bumped for live sport, like they were during the last run on Sky Sports. As consolation for losing Grit BasH, Sky Three will start to show WarZone's first run exclusively and will gain the rights to highlights.
• Mr. BIG has not taken a back-seat role since returning to the company. The Gorilla Position is now called The Biggie Position, as it is where Mr. BIG usually stands. He has contributed some exciting new ideas, some of which you will no doubt hear about shortly. Former Savatage guitarist Chris Caffery commented on his MySpace earlier this week that Biggie will guest as a bass player on some of the tracks on his forthcoming new album "House of Bullets". The two became acquainted during Mr. BIG's XWF run in 2001, which coincided with a Savatage tour. No news on his relationship with Sophie however, although I do understand the two still live together. Biggie spends most of his time in his CEO's office during the day however, meaning the two are rarely seen together, and generally stay apart during events as well.
• Atomically Kool Kat has begun her university degree in Cardiff and is said to be thoroughly enjoying herself. She has told me that although she gets spotted fairly often, she doesn't crave the attention, signs a few autographs and continues with her business. Some long-time employees have admitted that it is a funny feeling to have no members of the Edwards family active on TV at the moment for the first time in the company's history.
• NJS has taken on a mentor role backstage to much of the young talent. Some expected NJS to simply be lazy and not care much about the other roster members (an attitude wrongly attributed to him thanks to similar experiences with other older talent), but NJS has continued to foster new talent in the same way XCW was renowned for doing. NJS has expressed delight backstage at his return so far, saying he feels "comfortable" for the first time in a long time in wrestling, knowing he does not have a promotion to run.
• Hulmes and his attitude have taken a battering from many of the road agents lately. Hulmes is friendly with former TWF talent Aaron Hill and Matthew (D.) Jones - two men who have continued to publicly bad mouth the TWF, recently attacking Mr. BIG's return to the company as a fraud and "therefore proving Biggie's a complete douche". Hulmes claims he is simply guilty by association, but comments he made on his MySpace blog recently caught wind, and he was called up to appear in front of senior road agents, where he was given a severe dressing down. One of sources "the company wants constructive criticism because it thrives on it, but what he was doing was flat out abusive and many felt he deserved it".
• Rumours of a Dougie Christian return are not misplaced. During the regular post-FURY "shakedown", Christian arrived with the Terminator and was given a very warm reception backstage. Although he is currently enjoying life outside wrestling (quickly mentioning he was looking to get married in the next few months), he was propositioned about a return by one of the road agents and wasn't against it, just not at this moment in time. His is a name to keep an ear open for.
• Trivium have been asked to play at PayBack, an offer their management is said to be giving thought to. Paramore have apparently contributed an exclusive track to be the Reality Check theme in January as well, a first for the TWF.
• No Way BacK next year will be a 3½hr event. This was confirmed at a board meeting this week. The event is at the TWF Arena, like Dangerously Serious was, so the TWF pays nothing to have the extra half hour in the arena. Sky are not going to charge the TWF for over-running this time either, so it was a win-win situation for all involved.
• The new TWF belt that was being created by Reggie Parks is almost complete. Expect to first few articles about his belt creation this week. The big reveal of the whole belt and the belt's name should take place around the end of October. The first champion will be determined in a tournament format, albeit a shorter format than the King of the Ring tourney, so as not to lessen the prestige of the big tournament. The finals of that tournament will be held this weekend at Fall of Heroes live on Five. This is the first time in a while the TWF has a major event as WWE on the same weekend as well.

• It is understood that the TWF was being touted as being a "Gladiators replacement" for the re-branded Sky One (some new graphics were even designed for the move), but the TWF decided against the move. However, Sky One, Sky Two and Sky Three controller Richard Woolfe was interviewed at the Edinburgh festival as saying that he expects the TWF to appear on Sky One before the end of the year. I understand the TWF is investigating the loss of viewers on such a move, but are willing to air WarZone on Sky Three to compensate wrestling-starved Freeview fans. Woolfe has apparently been quoted by sources in the industry as saying a début is looking at occurring in mid-October.
• I can reveal that Mr. BIG is back in the TWF. He made his return to the company at Summer Break IX and accompanied Sophie backstage, before working the Gorilla Position. He was invited back by Marz to work the show, and worked on Wednesday and Friday last week. Amazingly, we understand that Biggie is happy to be backstage and will continue in this role, and he is being invited onto the writing team at the moment as well. A return to the ring is inevitable, but not in current plans. Biggie is already contributing ideas and has officially been given his old CEO position and office back, a move that has put a rare smile on the TWF Towers staff, one of whom told me "the world has been put back on it's axis".
• Expect to see more of an Alexis Polaris/Sophie rivalry in the coming weeks and months. The story is that many backstage feel the two are the most non-wrestling females at the moment and it could be an interesting feud, particularly if attention is paid to a back-story. We understand that Sophie will break some major news next week regarding the Collision Course main event that will surely have Alexis' attention.
• This year's batch of new talent will be making their débuts in the coming weeks. All are former BCW talents who have been touted as stars for many years and have been the subject of many columns and tidbits. We do understand that the TWF is constructing a new TV Taping facility at The Asylum in Waterton, the identity of which is unconfirmed. The first shows are apparently being scheduled for mid-October.
• NJS's girlfriend Lucy Rose Falleyn is expected to make her first appearances in the TWF very shortly. Like Mary-Anne, she was trained by Mr. BIG in his ring in his garage and many have high hopes for her. She is initially expected to make a managerial introduction before wrestling. Mary-Anne is also going to be débuting shortly, and take my recommendation, this girl is special. She has the looks that turn heads and can wrestle with the best. The Women's Division is looking excellent in the near future.
• Part of the reason the TWF is doing more shows than ever this year in other parts of the UK (and the world) is partly due to the downturn in the world economy. One prominent TWF Board Member has discussed with the board that he feels they have "over saturated" the South Wales market and will have to look elsewhere to gain new fans and new income sources. This explains the plan to get as many as 3 more pay‐per‐view distribution deals out before the end of the year and the tours in England this year, and Australia next year (which is going ahead).
• The TWF was actually looking at holding Summer Break X at Wembley Stadium, but figured with the English football calendar meaning the stadium is usually being used around that time frame, they have given up hope of holding an event in the stadium during that time of the year. However, Wembley is being earmarked for a pay‐per‐view in the future. The O2 Arena, TWF Arena and Broadlands Arena are the current front runners to host the show.
• You can expect to see all of the TWF's former roster members during the 10th Anniversary celebrations next February and March. The TWF has already begun to let people know of the plans of shows in February and March. At the moment, the jist is that there will be two big matches, a "past vs. present" multi-man tag team match, as well as a "Legends Battle Royal". The TWF has already said it would look to extend No Way BacK by 30 minutes (or even an hour) to accommodate such things.
• A play was made at getting Metallica to perform at Dangerously Serious, but the band then announced that they are going to tour the United States during this time, performing their first arena tour there in almost five years. Attempts to get Iced Earth to perform at Collision Course also proved unsuccessful. Matt Barlow, Iced Earth's returning vocalist, did comment that it was "cool" to hear "I Walk Alone" as the theme song for the next pay‐per‐view and he hopes "we can get a couple more fans from it".

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• As you are no doubt aware, Marz is in temporary charge of booking the TWF at the moment thanks to his EGM being successful in booting out Paul Heyman's team. Many former TWF employees are being contacted about returning to work and some have accepted positions, with most to return by the end of the month. Marz has admitted that Mr. BIG and Mr. Edwards are having inputs on the storylines at the moment, with Heyman also having some personal input regarding the Dangerous Alliance. Heyman has told friends that when he eventually leaves the company, he will continue to work on the Heyman Hussle and will look back on his tenure favourably.
• Ric Flair has been contacted to make an appearance in some capacity at Summer Break IX. Flair does not want to return to wrestling permanently as it would ruin the retirement angle booked earlier this year by the WWE. Flair will however continue to make public appearances and such, and has told friends to be excited to be returning to the TWF at Summer Break.
• Summer Break IX will be the first pay‐per‐view in a long-time to be officially carried by Virgin Media. The company reached a deal with the TWF just a few days ago, which means that the subscribers to the service will also be able to watch the pay‐per‐view on demand until the Grit BasH following the show. This service is exclusive to Virgin subscribers, although the TWF has hinted to Sky that the service could be offered in the feature.
• Many fans have noticed that the TWF forms a part of the new advertising campaign surrounding the re branding of Sky One on August 31. Sky are desperate to get Sky One on Virgin on this date I'm reliably told, but many TWF fans are interested as this could be a fifth move for Grit BasH since 2004. The TWF is trying desperately to return to Sky's flagship entertainment channel, but wants to retain it's Freeview audience. It could be interesting how it works out.
• The TWF has placed an order for a new championship belt with famed belt-maker Reggie Parks, who designed the TWF Television Championship belt. He posted on his official website recently that the TWF have given him an exciting new design for a belt that they will begin using in November. This is the new title I spoke about on my June 24 report. Parks is keeping the name and his design under-wraps, but the TWF has confirmed there will be a feature on the TWF Web about the art of Reggie's belt making process.
• Summer Break X venue speculation at the moment sees the Bridgend Dome and TWF Arena favourites to host, but, I understand that AEG are attempting to get The O2 Arena in London to host the show. The TWF wants to use Bridgend Dome more as there are fears it is turning into a white elephant, but apparently the money being offered to use the O2 is quite staggering and would take some serious consideration.
• There are already plans afoot to honour the TWF's Tenth Birthday next year with some special events next February and March. There will be a TV Special on the TWF's birthday, as well as a "10th Anniversary" Awards Gala sometime in March. Private celebrations will also take place, with a banquet being laid on at TWF Towers for just past and present talent. More details will come out nearer the date.
• With the sun finally set on BCW as a development area for the TWF, I have learned that the company is looking at building a large extension to The Asylum to tape matches for the new company, which will have it's show aired on the xWn. October is the earliest date floating around for a start date, with all development talent at the meantime simply working out at the Asylum. The promotion's name has apparently become a contest amongst TWF staffers, with a cash reward being offered for the best suggestion.
• Big Martin could be making a return. Martin has got into good shape in the past few months and is apparently advertising a return later this year. Martin won many fans over backstage with his passion for the business just prior to leaving last year, but has found a return to the company "irresistible". Martin is asking to work the Main Event however, which many don't think is possible as they don't see much marketing value in him. But, with the new board coming in, there is every chance that with his talent, he could be working his way up.
• Mr. BIG news (you can't live without it!)… Biggie was asked to make a return at Summer Break, but he refuses to make on-screen appearances at the moment. Despite being in what many friends call "the shape of his life", Biggie does not want to return to the ring, as he still feels burned out. However, he has said that he WILL return, maybe not in 2008, but definitely in 2009. The planned Biggie-NJS feud will however wait until 2010… Biggie has started to refer to Sophie as his "girlfriend" to his closest friends, signalling that the much rumoured relationship is true. The couple recently came back from 10-days in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Sophie has said she will return to the TWF shortly however to work a program with new heel manager Jessica Roberts… A YouTube video posted on BIG's web page shows him chatting to Frekishi at a charity event recently, with the two confirming that there are no hard feelings about the controversy I spoke about in my last report.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• Marz's plans to call an emergency EGM of the TWF Board of Directors has worked. A meeting has been scheduled on Monday July 21, 2008 which will be when the Total Chaos buy rate will be handed to TWF officials. Heyman's allies are seeing this as a do-or-die meeting, with the consensus being that is Marz's objections are handled brilliantly, the board will be voted out. In the immediate aftermath, Marz would handle booking duties but would look to bring a more experienced hand into proceedings. Heyman himself is not being ruled out of this, as he is still on good terms with much of the talent. The criticism lies with Lisa Borleon, Anne Hemming and Sarah Fry, the power trio of ladies who are in charge of the front office and managed to get into booking decisions.
• Mr. Edwards's recovery from his surgery has been much better than expected, due to him being in an already excellent state of fitness. Edwards will not get back to full training until sometime September, but he has started to swim with his long-time girlfriend and may get Mr. BIG back in should he make an in-ring return. The competition between the brothers as to who will be in better shape soon was described to me by a family friend as "fierce as neither of them likes to lose!". Marz has contacted him regarding a return as Chairman, and Edwards would be happy to resume his duties when he returns from hiatus.
• Frekishi has already contacted solicitors regarding his amazing outburst on Tuesday night about much of the TWF roster. Feeling tired and confused, Frekishi admitted to some astonishing things during a live phone-in interview with Real Radio. Frekishi admitted to having three-in-a-bed sex with Dougie Christian and Mr. BIG's ex-girlfriend, Siân. Siân, on her official website, did not deny the allegations, but admitted that Frekishi sexually groped her and then on another occasion (speculated to be when the two worked in the RWF together), he raped her. The allegations made against Mr. BIG also drew an immediate response from Biggie on his website, where he simply posted a message telling his fans that he would fight the allegations in court.
• NJS appeared on Real Radio's phone-in show on Monday and said that he anticipates that he will eventually return to the ring, but "only with Biggie or my brother", stating that they are the only two people he trusts these days. NJS has stated that he has fallen out with all of his former backstage clique as they have bad-mouthed him profusely in the last few years since his retirement, and he thinks they do not deserve his friendship. He did have warm words for much of the TWF however, stating he is "excited" by the new talent in the upper mid and mid card.
• Justin Polaris (with Alexis) gave a short phone-in interview on Wednesday prior to Grit BasH discussing their arrival into the TWF ("better than we ever imagined"), their relationship with Paul Heyman ("he's our mentor and our friend"), their own relationship ("we like to keep people guessing about what we will do next"), when Justin intends to receive his TWF World Championship match ("it will be soon, honest!") and their hopes for the future ("we want to be here for as long as possible and be as successful as we can be").
• The rest of Real Radio's wrestler phone-in week will see an interview with John Harper on Thursday night, and an interview with Mastermind on Friday night. Real Radio wanted to invite wrestlers on as many listeners to their phone-in shows have requested their return, and with it being a barren time sportingly, the TWF agreed. Real Radio noted that their listener ship for the slots grew almost 120% over their usual ratings for this time of year.
• In stark contrast to the TWF's US Tour earlier this year, the tour of England has sold out many dates already. Interestingly, the tickets to sell out the fastest were the Ricoh Arena House Show, despite it's larger capacity without TV equipment. The reason many are stating is that many fans expected the TV Tapings to sell out quickly and still wanted to see the action. There are already rumours that when the TWF returns to England in November for dates leading up to November Pain that there could be some House Shows scheduled.
• Traditionalists, you might be in luck. A preliminary pay‐per‐view listing from BSkyB's Middlesex offices has listed the TWF's November pay‐per‐view being entitled "Dangerously Serious". This could be a mistake on Sky's part, but apparently the higher-ups in the company have had a change of heart and will return the former name this November.
• Mr. BIG news: Biggie had a phone conversation with me a few days ago and confirmed the following tidbits… … his boxing "challenge" with Aaron Hill has been cancelled as the promoters had backed out (he speculated that it was because they did not expect the challenge to be fore filled and he forced them to book a venue and arrange the event, as planned)… … he is considering starting up his own promotion, entitled Premier Wrestling Cyndicate (PWC or PWS, depending on which spelling is used), initially doing isolated weekly shows in a regular venue before getting a one-hour xWn slot (he still sits on the xWn Board as it is an independent entity from the TWF, but is mostly funded by it)… … and in a badly kept secret, Sophie has moved in with him and the two consider themselves to be dating. Sophie had actually been seeing her long-term boyfriend Andrew since the Heyman episode, but, they finally split after a violent argument a few weeks back. Sophie immediately sought Biggie's comfort and Sophie is now living with the former CEO.

• The Against All Odds buy rate is not going to make anyone in the company feel particularly happy. Early figures from Sky indicate that the buy rate was horrendous, possibly the worst PPV buy rate in almost two years. Many fans and wrestlers were not very happy about the card and feel it was a total abomination. Many people feel the source of the problem - Heyman's board - will leave unscathed, but they are likely to wheel the axe on some staff. It is looking increasingly likely that a World Title change is coming in the very near future, either at Total Chaos or Disasterpiece.
• Whilst many backstage were quick to criticise the WWE's Million Dollar Mania promotion to draw attention to RAW, it is worth pointing out that the TWF is in no position to brag. Since NJS's leaving promo, the ratings have been the lowest since the company's return from hiatus and despite being quite healthy, it is not the heights the company were scaling a year ago. During the 2007 Rugby World Cup, the TWF's shows were consistently beating ITV's coverage of the tournament. Through Euro 2008 thus far, fans have been turning away in droves, although many critics will point to the success of the Euro tournament, others will say it is an indictment on the poor quality the TWF has been showing lately.
• Apparently, Marz has been doing some digging up on some old TWF papers from his membership of the board and has allegedly discovered a clause that means he could force an EGM regarding the state of the company and invite some of the TWF's stakeholders to turn up. Marz has told locker room members in a meeting before FURY last week he thinks this is the quickest and best solution to get rid of Heyman's board. As far as replacements go, Marz has said he would be happy to fill in the head of booking for a few weeks and would like a role on the new board, but would like a new figurehead and has mentioned two names in particular - Mr. BIG and Mr. Edwards.
• I have heard an interesting rumbling that the TWF is looking to start back doing House Shows before the end of the year. Originally, the plan was to have a Thursday house show in place before the end of August, but, now there is talk that a test run of shows will take place in small-to-mid size venues in the post-SB run towards the September PPV, and if this is a success, plans will be made for house shows beginning November. The TWF did question fans about House Shows and almost unanimously the fans voted to bring back house shows.
• Expect the TWF Hardkore Championship to bite the dust very soon. This is a decision that has been on the cards for almost three years. The TWF will not replace it with a new title initially, but is expected to introduce a "replacement" championship in due course. Suggestions include a UK Championship (brought up after a prototype belt was found during some cleaning up a few months ago), an "All-Action Championship" that will simply be gimmick matches (including Hardkore matches) or what looks most likely is a way of re-introducing the RWF No Limits Championship into a TWF arena.
• Former TWF superstar Aaron Hill has bitten off more than he can chew. After calling out Mr. BIG on his website and challenging him to a boxing match at Brackla Community Centre, Biggie posted a video response on his website informing Hill he needs only name a date and he will participate for no fee. Hill apparently was not expecting a response and is now feverishly trying to work out the chances of the event happening. Biggie has agreed to donate to charity any appearance fee he is given, but will only fight Hill if he organises the event "properly". Former TWF old boy Matthew (D.) Jones is also part of the organising team.
• The former BCW graduates such as Tobias Granville, The Avenger and Justin Polaris have impressed many with their desire and commitment to be a part of the TWF at the moment. It was expected by some road agents that they would rest on their laurels once being promoted to the main roster, but they have each impressed with fantastic skills and the ability to learn. They are often still seen at BCW helping out new graduates and improving their own skills.
• Mr. BIG news update… his Hay-on-Wye appearance went down extremely well and his presentation was the most well-attended of the festival. His most notable quotes surrounded his current TWF status - "If they called me up tomorrow, I probably would consider it, but maybe not right now"; Sophie - "We still keep in touch now, but I think that train has left the station for me, which is something I will be kicking myself over"; NJS - "He'll be back sooner than anyone realises, he's realised since he was gone how much he misses wrestling I think"; what he does now - "Play PS3 until all hours, go to very random places simple because I can - it's a good life". Sophie called me this week to say that she is still Biggie's "best friend" and the two still hang out, and she is now considering a return to wrestling after finding her new calling too "uncomfortable". I think that personally is a long way of saying she misses the big fella, but I'll leave you to decide.
• Echo and Eric Herrera recently surprised some TWF fans when they joined WWE diva Mickie James on the annual "Dreams Take Flight" mission that takes many disabled and disadvantaged children to Walt Disney World, Florida for a day out. Both were extremely happy to be there and enjoyed their time immensely. Herrera told some of the children that he is almost fully fit and will be back in the ring before Summer Break. It is believed that his return to the ring will allow Hayley Holder to continue to manage after Stephen Jenkins leaves the company after Summer Break.
• There are no plans to split up Scott Hudson and Bryan Daniels's announce duo. Although rumours were abound when Mr. BIG left that Hudson felt the company had "started to go down the toilet", he has found his partnership with Daniels to be the saving grace. There was consideration given to giving Michael King a chance to call play‐by‐play, but many were happy at King's job at Welsh announcing with Bryn Tomos that they did not want to mess up the dynamic of the team. King is however happy to be calling matches for Meltdown and WarZone in English with Chris Leary, and on occasion, Daniels.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• Summer Break IX will still be held in the Millennium Stadium on August 22 as scheduled. LiveNation had negotiated to bring Madonna's World Tour to the stadium less than 24 hours before Summer Break would begin. However, in an inspired piece of business, the TWF offered use of the Bridgend Dome (a larger venue) for slightly less money so they could get the Millennium Stadium. Needless to say, LiveNation took them up on the offer and Madonna will now play 3 nights in Bridgend rather than the 1 she was planning to play in Cardiff. Speaking of the Bridgend Dome, this year could be the first year that is makes a profit, in line with the initial financial estimations made by Mr. BIG when the building was being constructed. A number of indoor festivals are taking place at the Dome this summer and are pulling in large numbers.
• This could be the most muted Summer Break in history in terms of celebrity involvement. Usually by this point some personalities have been contacted about appearing on the broadcast, and considering the amount of personalities who showed up at ringside last year, let alone were a part of the show, many think this could be a disappointment. However, Paul Heyman has asked some of the personalities who have been appearing on The Heyman Hussle to appear including Duff McKagan and Missy Hyatt to appear on the show.
• A series of cost-cutting measures has angered much of the talent. The catering at all of the TWF's events is being scaled back, which has angered many who preferred the variety of food offered previously. The management has started to alternate the costume and make-up staff rather than travelling both sets of staff. The TWF is scaling back in all parts of staff which many find angry during these harsh economic times. The company will save almost £5million a year, but many find these measures unnecessary.
• We understand that the King of Xtreme match will be dropped this year as a result of many people finding the match doesn't fit with the current wrestling climate. However, the King of the Ring tournament will return in the same format as last year. The finals however will be held in October, the current plan is that is culminates in Semi-Finals and Finals being aired on the TWF autumn TV Special in mid-October, currently titled "Hold Your Fire". The next TV special will actually be titled "Disasterpiece" and will be held a few weeks prior to Summer Break. At the moment, Five will not air the show, but if (as expected) they negotiate to air the show, the xWn will still carry the show for HD subscribers and do a special pre-show live from the show's venue.
• Mr. BIG's latest interview to advertise his book, Degrees of Sanity, features many quotes about his return. Biggie admits that he hasn't been doing as many independent dates as he would like simply because the offers haven't been attractive enough. BIG admits at the moment that he is "in the worst condition I've been in for years. I've been beaten up so much mentally and physically over the past 18 months I don't know if I could come back." He has admitted that he did watch an episode of Grit BasH a few weeks ago and said that there was a lot wrong with the product that he would change if he was in charge. His final sentence was "I consider myself on hiatus". Mr. BIG makes an appearance at the Hay-on-Wye Book Festival this week and tickets for his appearance sold out within minutes. He will discuss his book and personal life in great depth in what friends call "a splendid presentation". This reporter will give his verdict in his next update.
• Hulmes has been taken under Paul Heyman's wing backstage, which many think is good for the young gangsta as he has gained massively from Heyman's experience. However, Hulmes has used this position to run his mouth about certain subjects, knowing that it is extremely unlikely he would be fired after Heyman has put so much effort into him. He is using his position to tell some particularly ludicrous stories about such talents as Mr. BIG, NJS and Joey Davies which this reporter knows weren't true but some of the roster is buying it. Watch this space.
• Former TWF superstar Aaron Hill made an attempt to gain entry to the TWF's last date in Wales at the beginning of May but caused a scene when he was denied entry to the BOCAM Arena. Hulmes eventually got him into the building, but when many of the wrestlers caught wind of the situation, Hill was confronted by some of the talent for some of the comments he has made and was made to feel incredibly uncomfortable about his presence. Hill also went back on a bet made with Mr. BIG that should Manchester United win the Champions League he would have to wear a Manchester United home jersey. Biggie planned on donating a signed jersey to charity but Hill went against it which made many angry. One wrestler said to me about Hill "he better be glad he isn't under contract because even Heyman would bury his ass right now - he's a complete prick".
• NJS hasn't been seen since his departure from the company but has told friends that his promo and the way he handled his departure was something he "just had to do". NJS has expressed his disappointment at the way he was treated backstage, stating that he is still a big name and can still sell tickets. Yet again, NJS has said that Paul Heyman wasn't the problem, but the people who surround him were his biggest issues. The net is closing around Heyman's team and many believe that sooner rather than later the axe will fall. The TWF Board has blamed them for Hard Times's bad PPV buy rate - the TWF's lowest since returning.
• Sophie has also been very quiet lately. She did make an appearance down at a BCW event two weeks ago and was pointed out by referee Pete Cavalli before the end of a match which got a massive round of applause from the fans. Sophie told friends there that she is unlikely to ever come back to the TWF unless circumstances change drastically in the next few months. As her as her status with Mr. BIG goes, no-one is quite sure. Sophie was out with girlfriends in Cardiff last week and friends were saying that Sophie has "moved on" now and is unlikely to go back to either Biggie or wrestling, concentrating on her new career in graphic fashion design.
• BCW's top star Rob Green has gone AWOL and is unlikely to return. Green was due to be promoted to the TWF in September but has disappeared and left his BCW Championship in the company's hands. Green frequently missed work outs and a rumour among some of the wrestlers was because the night before workouts he was often bragged about sleeping with a variety of prostitutes in his home in Cardiff (which came as a shock to his long-time girlfriend). Green has made no attempt to contact the company in recent weeks and BCW consider him gone, which many find a real shame as all the trainers felt he could have made it in the TWF. The TWF's efforts are now being concentrated on the rest of the class, which includes behemoth Riptide and charismatic Sam Allen as well as NJS's girlfriend Lucy Rose Falleyn. BCW are still heavily promoting their farewell show in Bridgend which they have confirmed will have involvement from some current TWF superstars (most of whom against the company's wishes, but as The Assassin allegedly told Heyman - "There's not a lot you can do about it dude").

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• NJS's departure from the company in the dramatic promo was a complete shoot. The plan was he was to cut a promo to set-up a match between Deadman and Matthew Jones at Hard Times. Deadman will feel no repercussions from the event as he is considered not to blame, although he is unlikely to be featured in story lines immediately - such was the burial that NJS gave Heyman's ideas. NJS was told that if he came with the company to the US for the upcoming dates, he would have to sign a written contract. NJS was not happy about this as well as many other issues, which lead to his statement. The line that is picking up the most attention is his reference to Mr. BIG - "You booed him when he left, but he was the only guy who could control this place - and now look at what we have in his place". NJS was more amazed at the fan's overwhelming response - stating in a blog dated earlier today that he feels totally vindicated by his promo.
• NJS's departure means that we could see the return of a familiar face earlier than expected. Frekishi was expected to début when the TWF returns from the US at the beginning of June in the lead-up to Against All Odds. However, we have received word he was seen with Dougie Christian just prior to the TWF's plane leaving for Florida on Monday morning from Cardiff. The same source says that Deadman was not on the flight, which means he could either join up with the tour later or is not going at all. NJS's departure has apparently come at a bad time for Deadman as his partner Ms. Sweet is having a family emergency and Deadman wants to be by her side.
• Fans are growing increasingly pissed off at Heyman and his regime. The upcoming tour of the US may be the TWF's lowest drawing since July 2001. Ticket prices are going up and Heyman is considering adding a pay site to the TWF Web, which was something previous management swore they would never do. Heyman is believed to keeping the company's financial position close to his chest, as many believe that with his cuts in some areas (such as advertising) have been overspent in other areas (such as hiring talent). Ratings are falling as well, leading many to believe Heyman's days are numbered.
• Online fans are however expressing delight that the TWF Web, which was neglected for most of the first few months of Heyman's tenure has been seen to be given a massive improvement lately. The addition of YouTube videos to the PPV pages was a suggestion by NJS. More roster bios are being added everyday with more Alumni being added as well as active roster members too.
• Hayley Holder is between a rock and a hard place allegedly. Stephen Jenkins has been telling friends he expects to leave the company when his contract expires in August after Summer Break. Holder has been associated with Jenkins throughout his entire career, so Holder is finding it difficult to comprehend life without him as a client. Holder's contract runs out at the same time, so stay tuned as to whether Holder joins the mess exodus in the near future.
• Mr. Edwards has seen specialists about his back injury and we have more news about it. Edwards has been unable to move his arm above his shoulder for a few weeks and it is expected that they operate in the next couple of weeks to correct his spine, which is straight, rather than curved like most. It is believed this will correct the problem and he will wear a brace for a month or two to correct the blood flow down his spine. Edwards was due to return from his almost year-long hiatus around September, but this has been pencilled out of storylines for the time being.
• Mr. BIG's book tour has been a resounding success and his publisher, HarperCollins, have announced they have signed a deal for a prequel book that will be an autobiography of Biggie's career. Biggie has been told there is no rush to write the book at the present as the publishers believe it will be an instant best-seller. Biggie made a surprise appearance at a BCW show on April 24 where he interrupted a promo by Rob Green. Biggie said despite the TWF's disassociation with the company he could not forget "what he has helped built". Biggie only made an appearance to speak to current trainees and present some awards, but was asked politely by Paul Bowen to make an appearance, which he did graciously. Biggie has told friends he has kept a blank on his schedule for the BCW's Farewell Show, meaning he may well turn up in some capacity.
• Sophie has begun to move on from wrestling as well. She has recently been seen in many design houses in London's fashion districts showing off her designs. Sophie's original trade was a fashion graphics designer in her teens, gaining a qualification from a college in the discipline. Sophie has not spoken about her status with Mr. BIG, but friends say her mobile phone background is a photo of her in Biggie's arms at a park in California when the TWF was on tour there in September.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• NJS's return has been planned by Paul Heyman since the Easter HeAT debacle as a way of gaining the support of the fans once more. Heyman capitalised on good timing with NJS expressing publicly an interest in wrestling once more and offering him a good deal. Contracts have been exchanged but the two sides have not agreed so far, but NJS was happy enough to begin an open working agreement for the time being. The contracts have apparently not included XCW's Video Library, which remains in NJS's name.
• NJS wants to stick around for the long run and as a result of this agreement he will get the two feuds he wanted - with his brother Deadman for the World Championship as well as potentially the biggest match in the history of professional wrestling, against Mr. BIG. My sources backstage have said that the latter could happen as early as next year and the TWF will find a suitably large venue to capitalise on the potential ticket sales for the match. NJS has expressed his awe at some of the new talent coming through the TWF and is looking forward to working with them in the future. On a personal note, we do not expect that NJS's current beau appear in the TWF. We understand he is in a relationship with Lucy Rose Falleyn, a performer in training at the Asylum, although we do hear she has been in training at Mr. BIG's in-garage ring as well.
• An eye-opening conversation took place between High Voltage and Frekishi. The long time rivals (both in the ring and out of the ring) held a conversation during a night out in Bridgend. The two discussed their new lives before moving on. I understand that Frekishi will soon be returning to partner Dougie Christian for another run at the Tag-Team belts before finally retiring and concentrating on beginning a family with his fiancée, Lauren.
• JCVS and The Assassin were apparently very happy to work together once more in the upper card of No Way BacK. The two have much history, former foes in the RWF as well as TWF and expressed delight at "gettin' it on" against each other once more. Van Slam did made clear his displeasure of not closing the show with his victory, which Heyman shot down, saying NJS's return was worth moving the main event. Van Slam agrees with the philosophy that only in truly exceptional circumstances that the TWF World Champion should not close the show, citing the Team EV-Z-Pack matches in 05 as being one such occasion. Heyman disagrees and feels the biggest drawing match should finish the show, which he felt Deadman-Mastermind was, despite far less build-up and an unannounced return.
• Mr. Edwards's indefinite hiatus could be permanent. Edwards was experiencing pain in his back a few weeks ago, where it was discovered on further inspection that he had a slipped disc in his back. After seeing specialists at a hospital in Cardiff, his fears were eased as the situation was not as bad as first thought, meaning a return to the ring is possible. The incident that caused the disc to slip was not made clear to this reporter, but I understand it was not wrestling related. He will wear a neck brace for at least 8 weeks and will be unable to make any kind of appearance in the TWF until October at the earliest. Edwards has politely turned down opportunities to return to the company since his brother's departure. He has continued to develop his property business and maintain his cars with his long-time girlfriend.
• Former TWF developmental area, BCW, has announced it will be holding it's last ever show on June 14 at the Brynteg Arena. The company has sent out feelers to all former talent who worked or were associated with the company, with some already confirming their involvement. At the moment, Paul Bowen wants to book a "old vs. new" card with some grudge matches thrown in. Bowen has attempted to get a deal with the xWn for a live transmission, but Heyman is likely to veto the suggestion, although we anticipate the show will be filmed for a DVD/BluRay release.
• As far as a TWF development area goes, Heyman is "still in the process" of determining where to go. Some talent still appear in BCW, whilst others contest cards at The Asylum, which is on a much smaller-scale than most expected. The planned acquisition of PCW is still not yet complete although Heyman wants to embarrass Mike Hughes by signing over the contract to the company at Super Clash 08 in late-May in the show's closing moments. Heyman has spoke of only picking up the elite talent, meaning most could end up jobless with very little jobs elsewhere at the moment. Meanwhile, the RWF continues to lay dormant, although rumblings continue that Mr. BIG is conducting feasibility studies about more shows. One source I spoke to said "He wanted to make it really big time, but even on his budget, he thought he couldn't compete with someone else's baby (the RWF) against his own baby (the TWF) despite the TWF's reputation going down faster than Jodie Marsh's knickers".
• Blonde Man and Brownie were subject of a feature on BBC TV a few weeks ago where the admitted they will not be renewing their TWF contracts in August. The twins have been highly sought after individuals in both rugby union and rugby league and have been given tempting offers to continue their careers full-time in the sports. They have not received Paul Heyman's blessing yet, but have got the backing of the locker room. It is unlikely to see them not leaving, despite their tremendous and loyal service to the company since it's foundation.
• Jack Beam, John Harper and Justin Polaris have become unlikely friends backstage. The three have travelled together lately and are apparently looking for a short-term place together before they settle into life with the TWF. All three have told their close friends of their excitement working with the company and they hope they can reach the very top. Considering the talent of each man, this is highly likely. The issue of how to address Justin and Alexis's relationship is still a tricky one. Heyman has said he isn't sure how to play the couple. Originally Heyman wanted to do an incest angle with Alexis being Justin's sister, but this was cancelled after one show due to horrific reviews. Most likely the backstage couple will become an on-screen couple some-time soon.
• Sophie has been booked to appear on many TV shows discussing Mr. BIG's new book, Degrees of Sanity, which has drawn critical and popular acclaim. Mr. BIG has suspended his independent bookings through out April and he is conducting a book signing tour across the UK to promote the book, which has already drawn massive criticism. One of the tidbits in the book is that Mr. BIG knew before hand of Black Sunday and encouraged Heyman to go through with it, sensing a piece of drama and excitement in the company, which has drawn anger from some traditionalists. One broadsheet review described the book as being "not something you would expect from a wrestler." The review continued, "He writes with such authority but with some pleasant humour in his own unique style. This isn't just another "year in the life of… " book - it's a must for any wrestling fan, but those who know little about the subject will be educated nicely through the book" - gaining a five-star review, which is notoriously rare. Sales figures have not come in yet, but I anticipate the book hit #1 in most charts as some stores sold out on release.
• Sophie herself is said to be recovering well from her miscarriage and humiliation by Heyman shortly after. She has confirmed whilst she is not in a relationship with Biggie, the debacle has drawn them closer together. NJS reached out to Sophie during the fiasco and the two have become close friends as a result.

• No need to check your calendars, but this is one rumour I can't believe myself is making the rounds - Mr. BIG is considering a return to the TWF. After all that has been said about him by Heyman and other members of the locker room, Biggie was speaking to friends in Orlando this weekend that he would like to return to the TWF this year. Biggie says that his independent commitments haven't overwhelmed him, and he is currently booked through to June. He has held off adding more commitments because he understands that Paul Heyman's contract is up in July and with each day that passes, it is looking more likely it would not be renewed.
• That is not all. Perhaps more amazingly, Mr. BIG and NJS were spotted in attendance at WrestleMania XXIV in Orlando on Sunday night, fore filling both men's life-long dream to witness the event live (and together). NJS was thoroughly enjoying the action and was noted to receive props from Edge and apparently got a reaction from Matt Hardy as he walked up the ramp. NJS has already said that there are only two programs he would like to come back for - against his brother for the TWF World Championship, and against Mr. BIG with a match at Summer Break.
• Mr. BIG was invited by some of his friends in the WWE to the Hall of Fame banquet on Saturday night at the Amway Arena. He was invited to dine with dignitaries backstage but politely declined the invite, however he sat next to Mick Foley during the ceremony, which drew cheers when he was mentioned during Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's speech. Apparently Biggie was among many blown off by Johnson backstage during the ceremony which led to him turning to Steve Austin (who himself was openly critical of Johnson's attitude) and stating "This is why you never meet your heroes". Austin apparently smiled at Biggie and the two engaged in a lengthy conversation that many thought was awe-inspiring.
• Austin then introduced Biggie to Vince McMahon, which saw some awkward looks in the room. Biggie turned to Vince after he was introduced to him and said "Mr. McMahon, sir, never been a fan of your business methods some of the time, but ALWAYS been a fan of your product. Honour to meet you". Vince was apparently VERY taken aback by that and asked if BIG was joking to which Biggie replied "If I was joking, I would have posted it online. Instead I'm here to say it you face-to-face." and Vince and Biggie then discussed the TWF for almost 10 minutes before the two men shook hands and left. Biggie has told friends that Vince is secretly a HUGE fan of the company and openly admits to "drawing inspiration" from the TWF for story lines. The two discussed Paul Heyman's handling of the company at length too.
• Sophie made an appearance on GMTV's "Entertainment Today" last Friday where she discussed the company, Paul Heyman and Mr. BIG's new book Degrees of Sanity which is being released next Friday. Sophie came across very well for her thoughts about the book. She refused to acknowledge Heyman by name when the presenters discussed his infamous rant about her miscarriage. Sophie revealed that Mr. BIG has comforted her since the incident and her boyfriend walking out on her and although she denies the two are a couple, she did state "He's the only man that matters to me any more - he's stuck with me through thick and thin the past few years and only in the past few weeks have I really realised that".
• In non-Mr. BIG related news, Eric Herrera has been making steady progress on recovering from his separated shoulder. There is no new information regarding a return date, so late-May is looking to be the earliest he can wrestle, but a return at Hard Times in May is entirely possible.
• Due to a multitude of factors, the TWF is considering re-routing the Southern USA tour in May after dramatically poor ticket sales for the shows. The pay‐per‐view, Hard Times has sold barely 5,000 tickets, the lowest total since the company's inception for an Orlando event. Although Heyman higher-ups are blaming Biggie for placing the event in Orlando so soon after WrestleMania, Orlando residents have apparently been speaking about this disaffection for the company under Heyman and feel he will bring a weak card. The alternative, it appears to move the Georgia dates earlier on and hold a historic pay‐per‐view in Atlanta, the home of Georgia Wrestling, the NWA and WCW.
• Jean Claude Van Slam and Louise are still experiencing a difference in philosophies but are expected to work through them. Louise has told friends and sources that she is not entirely happy with the partnership, but the differences appear to be workable and the two will continue to be a team on the air.
• Paul Heyman has told the roster to expect "a Four Horsemen type stable" to début in the middle of the year. Heyman says that there are really only two stables in the company at the moment (Dangerous Alliance and The Individuals) and he feels that the company needs a new faction to "change things up a little".
• A new TWF "The Music" Album is being prepared for release in late 2008. Already Disturbed have been signed up to contribute, along with new artists that we have not heard before on TWF television. Interestingly, tracks are reportedly being included for wrestlers who will not début until after the CD's release.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider

• Paul Heyman has lost the respect of just about every member of the TWF locker room after his misinformed and highly emotional outburst against Sophie tonight. For those who missed the show, Heyman invited Sophie down to the ring. Sophie discovered earlier this week she suffered a miscarriage with her baby and lost the baby, to add to this, her boyfriend and the baby's father walked out on her. Heyman mocked Sophie and laughed at her as she broke down in the middle of the ring and spoke extremely harshly about her, her boyfriend and her relationship with Mr. BIG. Whilst many will doubt it, Heyman was shooting, and the interjection of most of the roster when Heyman was visually "popping a vein" was unscripted. Heyman was sent home early from the show.
• In recent weeks it has become clear that many people are growing disgruntled at Heyman's reign and his backstage politicking is far worse than any previous TWF management. Where as in previous production meetings, Heyman was able to contribute effective ideas, now with no-one above him to restrict his ideas, Heyman is using exclusively his ideas where has pissed many higher-ups off. Heyman's financial management of the company is also reported to be an absolute disaster akin to WCW in the 90s, with Heyman throwing the TWF's money around unwisely. Heyman has cut many ties with organisations that mutually benefited from the association. Further more, Heyman has cancelled the TWF's award winning Work Experience placement scheme without any notice, leaving many youngsters extremely disappointed.
• Unfortunately for those who wish to a return to the "old days", it is unlikely to ever happen. Heyman has an extremely tight contract that will see him only ousted if he is done so at an AGM (which was held in mid-January) or EGM with a 2/3rds majority. Possible placements are few and far between, with Mr. BIG continuing to say that he refused to be in the company as long as Heyman is associated with it. Mr. Edwards is possibly the only person who could come in at short notice as he is still a board member (albeit an in-active member).
• Mr. BIG, we understand, was in London this week to see his beloved Manchester United play Fulham, and he stayed the whole weekend and met up with his brother Mr. E on Monday to go to a concert. A rumour spread very quickly that Mr. BIG called Sophie straight after Heyman's speech and offered his help to Sophie. I can confirm this rumour is actually true. Mr. BIG left London immediately to return home and catch up with his friend, who he "misses oh so dearly".
• In other news, the TWF will announce some good news in the next few weeks that the company will continue it's association with BSkyB through 2009. Rumours had spread that Virgin Media had been ready to table an offer to get the first run of Grit BasH, but this was untrue, Sky were the only people the company is in negotiation with. I understand that Grit BasH will remain on Sky Three for the foreseeable future as the company wants to keep it's Freeview audience. Five are also looking to get the next TWF Saturday Special scheduled to air in June, on the network. The TWF is wishing to exploit the potential of a Five audience to the product in the run-up to Summer Break and the event could feature a PPV-calibre card to try and draw in viewers.
• Hawke is anticipated to be named the host of the revived version of Gladiators this week. Hawke faired very well in screen tests and auditions, and was a favourite with producers. He is expected to be credited the show as Alyn Hawke (his real name). We understand however the Gladiators team will be unable to reference his TWF past thanks to Paul Heyman's difference in philosophy. Hawke in an interview posted to the internet very recently has said that of all the people in the company he misses "it's probably Biggie. So much of our careers are intertwined that we matured together as wrestlers and as people. He's a very good friend and an amazing person who deserves all the credit he gets".
• Joey Davies nixed the idea of a potential return to the company at Deadly MindGames we understand. Davies was backstage at the event and was set to make an appearance in the TWF Television Championship Ladder match, but at the very last minute, after the ending of the match had been rewritten to accommodate his interference, he received a phone call and returned to Nottingham. No-one is quite sure what his future holds, but one thing appears certain - he is unlikely to return to the TWF.
• Eric Herrera has returned home to Chicago and to his family to recuperate from his horrible separated shoulder injury at DMG. He is continuing his treatment and is likely to return to the ring by July. Herrera has received a lot of support from the locker room, who have not blamed Mike Haggar for the injury, as it was an awkward spot in the match to take place anyway.

• A lot of TWF stars have announced their shock intentions to return to the company shortly this week. Joey Davies returned home from his architecture firm he set up in Nottingham on Monday night, and he has sold his stake in the firm - saying that he now regrets the decision. It is speculated that he could return to the company as soon as this Sunday at Deadly MindGames. Frekishi, who is in the shape of his life after dropping almost 50lbs, is looking at returning to the company after Easter HeAT and could return permanently. Finally, NJS has finally confirmed wrestling's worst kept secret: he has signed a deal to return to the federation, initially on a short-term basis, but has an option to extend it long-term.
• News of this spread much quicker through the locker room than expected, and it has caused some divide between the wrestlers. The older members of the roster are happy to see such influential and popular members of the locker room to add a familiar dynamic to the company. However, the younger members feel that the returns are largely for nice pay days that they can collect as they can still draw, at the expense of up-and-coming roster members. The younger wrestlers do however feel under the current management, they will be pushed better than they would under the previous management, where friendships came first over giving younger stars a platform to succeed.
• With the increasing media coverage of the Bridgend suicides, the TWF has fallen under increasing pressure lately. Many news reports are keen to push the TWF as being a bad thing for the county, despite the fact it is one of South Wales's biggest employers. Paul Heyman has drawn widespread praise for his handling of news for the tragedies, keeping what he has to say to a minimum and not making a statement about it.
• TWF Upper Management has been seen to be negotiating with Virgin Media Television once more, raising speculation that the TWF will opt-out of it's Sky Three contract in May. The TWF has been a tremendous success for Sky Three, dominating the Wednesday night ratings on Freeview, however, Sky feels that the TWF audience does not watch the other programs on the network, therefore advertising is not a strong point. Virgin 1 would be the home if the TWF does switch, which would be Grit BasH's FOURTH network since 2004 (Sky One, xWn, Sky Three, Virgin 1). VMT are also keen to exploit a possible relationship with a TWF - by adding the company's extensive back libraries (including the RWF) to it's growing on-demand service. One falling point is a lack of a HD option for Grit BasH, although there is rumours that the HD feed could be outputted to the xWn, or most likely, the TWF would force VMT to launch a HD network.
• The TWF Multimedia department was in great spirits this week as HD-DVD support ended up being withdrawn for the standard. As part of a sponsorship deal with Sony for Summer Break VIII, the TWF had been exclusively producing BluRays for content, and in a recent news report, the TWF's decision was a major factor in the sales of the BluRay format.
• Holly stopped by backstage at the 13/02 Grit BasH to say hello to some old friends, such as Louise, who was celebrating her birthday on that day. Holly, as I found out personally, was in very good spirits and said she was enjoying herself in her new roles as an actress, model and dancer. Holly will be making her movie début in the motion picture, Step Up 2: The Streets, which is due to hit UK cinemas in mid-2008.
• Rebekah also made a backstage appearance at the 13/02 Grit BasH to say hello to Louise and Atomically Kool Kat amongst others. She confirmed whispers that she was pregnant however, which drew much congratulations from the backstage roster who knew her. The father is Bekah's long-time boyfriend of at least 3 years and there is some speculation that Bekah is open to offering the child's godparents to some former TWF friends.
• Sophie stopped by backstage at the 15/02 Fury, which raised some eyebrows with some road agents considering the manner of her departure. She was again visiting old friends and was very approachable, despite her pregnancy becoming more visible. Sophie is expecting the baby (a boy) in August.
• As this reporter understands it, Mr. BIG has not returned any phone calls to anyone on the active TWF roster since his departure in January. We do understand that he left on good terms with almost all of the roster however. Biggie does still keep in contact with his friends not on the roster, such as NJS (with whom he has weekly phone calls), Frekishi and perhaps most amazingly - Marz. Sophie is the only person not happy about the manner of his departure. Biggie asked Sophie if she would join him, but she said no, which Biggie respected, but he does admit to breaking down in tears before saying good-bye to Sophie, leaving Sophie confused about Biggie's role in her life.

• Ratings released this week show that Saturday's SuperBrawl event was a huge success, with the show having almost 80% of it's available audience watching during the main event. Sky noted subscriptions for the channel grew "above average" over the week. Five were extremely disappointed about not being able to show the event, however, the company is expected to make an effort to gain the rights to the TWF's next Saturday event, tentatively titled End Times.
• The Hi-Def edition of xWn launched in mid-January and is available at no extra cost to xWn subscribers with a Sky HD box. All of the channel's first-run output has been filmed in high-definition since 2007, but only recently did negotiations with Sky mean the channel was cleared. xWn itself has expanded it's operating hours and now runs 24/7, since the TWF has expanded it's library with new first-run shows, including now televising The Hot Shot Podcast and Saturday Sound Off, with a behind the scenes look at the TWF program also being filmed.
• Chris Leary's return to the TWF in place of the departed Arn Anderson has gone down quite well with the company. Leary was the original anchor of TWF Time-Out, but left the TWF when he became the lead announcer for XCW. Leary was the second person contacted about the vacancy - first choice was former Blue Peter presenter and current Sky Sports News anchor, Simon Thomas. He respectfully declined the invite, but he did sound enthusiastic about the company, which some found surprising.
• Paul Heyman has drawn both criticism and praise for his handling of the "linked" suicides in the Bridgend area that have hit mainstream press attention over the past few weeks. Heyman's first response was to say nothing about the matter, which they felt was wrong as some sections of the press hounded out the company for being a bad influence on the area. However, when the Daily Express featured the "latest suicide in death town" on it's front page, Heyman's response was his opening segment on Grit BasH that night, which drew wide-spread praise from all corners of the company for being extremely well-thought out.
• Jean Claude Van Slam and Louise have apparently not got along backstage at all lately. Their pairing up as manager and client was Paul Heyman's idea as he felt Van Slam needed a glamorous mouth piece to get himself more over. Louise and Van Slam have already clashed over personal issues, especially since a tabloid this week found photos posted on Facebook of Louise and her best friend, former TWF manager Rebekah, looking worse for wear after an evening in Cardiff. No action has been taken for the photos, although this is believed to have been the cause of what set Van Slam off.
• Minutes from the TWF's board meeting that saw Paul Heyman installed as MD were, as promised, posted by the TWF this week on it's corporate website and revealed some surprises. It was discovered that many other names were discussed as being the TWF's new Managing Director, including Bret Hart, Captain Lou Albano, Eric Bischoff and Dusty Rhodes, as well as Nick Bockwinkel, JJ Dillon, Greg Gagne and Paul Bowen. Heyman was however voted in with a comfortable majority.
• Also from those minutes, it was discussed that the TWF plans to undertake it's most ambitious experiment yet - a tour of Australia. Already, February 2009 is the discussed date, and the company is conducting feasibility studies. The company plans to tape it's television programming whilst in Australia and the issue is taping times and dates. One proposal is to tape 2 Grit BasHs and Furys one after another in the same venue, whilst another proposal is that they tape a week's programming in one night. The proposal however that got the best response initially was to tape Grit BasH and Fury as usual in one week, then tape Grit BasH on Monday and Fury on a Wednesday, so the company could travel back effectively. This was a proposal of some of the wrestlers, who forwarded it to Eric Herrera, who is the current wrestler's rep.
• The TWF was contacted by Sky this week to see if they were interested in cross promoting the new series of Gladiators. The revived show, based on the classic Saturday tea-time show of the 90s, would gain some promotion prior to it's début on Sky One. Some quarters however are angry that Gladiators got the nod to appear on Sky One rather than the TWF. More interesting perhaps is that some names were contacted as being hosts of the show. Former TWF World Champion Hawke was screen tested and looks a possibility, although Sky sent feelers out to Mr. BIG to host the show. Biggie, like many, was a huge fan of the show in it's heyday and has a photo of him meeting Gladiators Cobra & Lightning on a promotional tour in the late 90s.
• Summer Break IX tickets will go on sale on Saturday, April 19 at 11am. At the moment, the TWF Web, Ticketmaster and the Millennium Stadium Ticket Office on St. Mary's Street in Cardiff have been the confirmed ticketing locations in the United Kingdom. We understand international distribution is unclear at the moment, but Ticketmaster is expected to get the rights for the tickets worldwide.

THE INSIDE SCOOP with The Insider
Reported on: January 05, 2008

• With the shock announcement of her pregnancy at PayBack, Sophie is expected to be off television until at least a few weeks after the birth of the child. Despite her making the announcement rather publicly, Sophie is telling close friends that Mr. BIG is not the baby's father, and her long-term boyfriend and future husband is the father. Biggie however is "over the moon" said one source with the news and it's looking likely he will be the child's godfather at the very least.
• BIG has been telling his associates that he doesn't expect to be in the TWF after March and has signalled his intentions to do a "World Tour" in 2008. Biggie will ignore the TWF and tour "many places he's always wanted to go, but never performed" said the source. Already there are dates lined up for New Japan, Australian shows as well as independent US shows. There is unlikely to be a TNA appearance in the offering, as Biggie feels he will ruin the credibility of the company if he is a "bit-part player".
• The Terminator has been seen in the company of prominent TWF wrestlers once more in the past few weeks and there are strong rumours he could be making a return. The Terminator's close friend Dougie Christian has apparently been putting in a good word for the former IC Champion, who recently announced on his official website his engagement to a lady he had been courting for sometime.
• Frekishi is expected to leave the company in the early part of 2008, but has however signalled his intention to return in June. Frekishi was due to begin his motorsport business this year, but has expressed such joy at returning to the ring he has decided to simply become a partner in the business rather than owner. Mr. BIG, Dougie Christian and The Terminator have pledged support to the venture financially to aid the Frek. Frekishi has been written out of storylines from February onwards, but is likely to return later in the year once the business has started up.
• Former TWF Women's Champion Rachael is considering making a comeback. Rachael has lost upwards of 100lbs and looks in tremendous shape. Most of the people in favour of her returning are about to leave the company however - but her saving grace is a women's division that needs another old head to firm the charge. Heyman would bring her in to bring up her notoriety and could use the former champ to his advantage.
• Tickets for the TWF's first live wrestling show of the year, this Wednesday at the Bridgend Dome, went on sale this morning and quickly sold out. The ticket office told fans that the Dome would be using only 20% capacity, meaning only 20,000 fans will be in attendance for the show. It will be the company's first show at the venue since Summer Break VIII, and it is already speculated that it is the company's only show of 2008 at the venue.
• PCW Owner Mike Hughes, in a shock announcement on New Year's Day, announced his retirement from professional wrestling and left PCW's future hanging in the balance, bringing further credibility to the story I broke in late-December surrounding the company's potential future as a development area. With Heyman keen to sweep the Mr. BIG ideas cupboard under the rug for the time being, Heyman feels that PCW is a local promotion that could do with the TWF's involvement. If Heyman does make a move for the company, the animosity between the companies which has existed for nigh-on a decade will finally be over. Heyman is particularly interested in bringing back PCW stalwart The Defender, a man who had a shot at the TWF in 2001 and 2002 but failed to impress and returned to PCW.
• With the SuperBrawl special now confirmed for February 2 at the new Swansea LC, the internet is ablaze with rumours surrounding the show's duration. The plans, which are being finalised in the next two weeks, are hoping that the show is a 2-and-a-half hour affair, putting it between TV show and PPV territory. Already dates are being drawn up for the second xWn special, currently entitled End Times to take place in June.
• The planned involvement with former UFC star Randy Couture has fallen through thanks to Couture's razor-tight contractual agreement with the promotion. Paul Heyman is looking for an alternative athlete to bring in to the company, and there is talk that British boxer "Hitman" Ricky Hatton may fit the bill. He is a big wrestling fan and has told friends he would jump at any opportunity to come into the company. Hatton would work a short program with the Dangerous Alliance likely to be involved with it.
• Expect to hear more from the new TWF stars that first appeared this year. Nytro, Sebastian Gross, Mick O'Brian and Justin Polaris are expected to be joined by Mike Haggar, Ron Ortega and Jack Beam this year, and we also hear that Paul Heyman has contacted two non-TWF related names to sign contracts this year.
