However, be sure to check out a special episode of Grit BasH and FURY this week with the best moments and matches of 2008. Next Wednesday will see a special 3-hour Grit BasH (starting at 7pm) on New Year's Eve counting down the greatest TWF matches of all-time, followed that Friday by the annual TWF Awards ceremony from the Hardkore Cafeé in the Bridgend Dome. Until then, we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, from everyone at the TWF Web.

After an absence of almost five months, the Total Wrestling Federation was shocked to see the return of the God of War – Marz – at Deadly MindGames last night. Just as it looked like The Assassin was going to humiliate Hades, the Hardcore King made his triumphant return and informed The Assassin he had watched him while he was gone and that The Assassin needed to learn to respect his elders. Marz planted the TWF World Champion with an Out of This World Stunner after the Assassin accepted his challenge for a match at Easter HeAT, but Marz shocked the world once more by announcing that the match would take place inside Tables, Ladders, Cell! This incredible match will be one of many that takes place on Easter Sunday, March 23!

ERIC HERRERA INJURY UPDATE Reported by: TWF Web Staff on February 25, 2008

In a thrilling ladder match at Deadly MindGames on pay‐per‐view last night, each of the competitors gave their all to become TWF Television Champion. "The Sensational" Eric Herrera, was unfortunately injured due to an awkward landing on his shoulder from falling from the top of the ladder towards the match's conclusion. Herrera continued with the match like a true professional. Doctors at the Princess of Wales Hospital today assessed the injury after keeping Herrera in overnight for observations and they discovered that Herrera has a Type III Separation, which is a tear of the acromioclavicular and coracoclavicular ligaments. Herrera will be out of action for a minimum of three months. Please send your best wishes to Eric as he recovers from the injury.

BLACK SUNDAY Reported by: TWF Web Staff on September 23, 2007

Due to the result of the TWF World Championship match at Take No Prisoners, the event has been termed "Black Sunday". We understand that wrestlers, staff and fans are all extremely disappointed in the actions of The Assassin, Mastermind and Paul Heyman, who undermined the whole TWF in their actions. However, referee Peter Cavalli has confirmed that there was nothing illegal about the decision to count the pinfall and unfortunately, the match result will stand.
We do understand however, that the three men's actions will not go unpunished and this Wednesday night at Grit BasH, Mr. BIG (who will be away on business), has informed the TWF that he plans to address the whole roster via Videolink at the top of the show, and he promises that he will have an announcement that will shake the TWF to the very core!

STATEMENT REGARDING CHRIS BENOIT Reported by: TWF Web Staff on June 26, 2007

The TWF is sad to report the deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and their seven-year-old son, Daniel, all of whom were found dead at their Atlanta, Georgia home on Monday afternoon. The TWF offers it's condolences to the family and friends at this terrible time. Although Chris's alleged actions over the weekend are likely to overshadow a storied in-ring career, the TWF will celebrate the success Chris had in professional wrestling with a special card from Newbridge Fields this Wednesday on Grit BasH. We hope we pay fitting tribute to a man who met a tragic end but inspired so many of us to do what we do every night.

We can expect a full statement shortly, but this a huge coup for the Total Wrestling Federation. As the build-up to the biggest pay‐per‐view of the year continues, you can expect to hear of more great names that will make an appearance at the event in the near future!
