Rebels with Attitude
The TWF was a shaky place in June 2003. Mr. BIG and High Voltage were deeply involved in a feud over Mr. BIG's then manager Holly, which looking back on, was rather pointless. Mr. BIG and High Voltage decided that they should fight to retire one another. In a dubious contest at Against All Odds, Mr. BIG came out on top and it seemed like HV was gone.The following episode of Grit BasH saw Mr. Edwards state that he was going to shake up the TWF forever that night. The Main Event was going to Mr. BIG & The Bandit, the infamous nO-DQ pairing against Hawke and 'Stone Kold' Karl Davies, both adversaries of the two men. The match came to an end when Mr. Edwards came down to the ring and Mr. BIG nailed Hawke with The BIG Storm and Bandit covered him… 1-2-3! Mr. Edwards leapt into the ring and beat the two men down. Hawke and SKKD joined in as Holly and Davies held hands! The crowd stood in shock as Mr. Edwards said that he found out what Mr. BIG put into the contract for his match at Against All Odds… he gave himself a TWF World Championship shot on RAW that Friday. Mr. Edwards then announced that Mr. BIG was fired as TWF CEO and as a TWF Wrestler.
On RAW, Mr. Edwards said that finally, the TWF has been rid of a filthy bastard that had kept it down for so long. But High Voltage had interrupted him! HV said that Mr. BIG and him resolved their differences over the weekend and managed to figure out a way to stop Seek And Destroy. So Mr. BIG made High Voltage TWF Commissioner! HV said that the TWF Board of Directors also voted unanimously to re-instate Mr. BIG as TWF CEO. HV then said that he had formed Seek And Destroy to help get the TWF back to the way it was. The Rebels With Attitude have been like most of the Anti-TWF Corporation stables of the past such as the Z-Pack & The New Inc. And they are continuing to make sure that they take the fight to Seek And Destroy, despite the fact one of S&D's members, Frekishi power bombed Mr. BIG off the TotalTron at TWF-xWa Halloween Hell 2003 and injured Biggie for just over 6 months with a torn shoulder muscle.
The war between the Rebels and Seek And Destroy raged on, and looked to finally end when the two factions faced each other in a 5-on-5 Elimination Match at No Way BacK. When it was down to the captains, NJS and Mr. Edwards, Mr. BIG showed up as NJS's 5th man and aided his buddy to victory, driving Mr. Edwards from the federation. But, at Easter HeAT, Mr. Edwards appeared to have the last laugh. 2 weeks prior, High Voltage, the co-founder of the RWA, left the faction and dumped everyone, including the fans. Then, with Mr. Edwards' aid, Hawke defeated NJS in an Ambulance Match to capture the xWa Championship.
The two factions continued their war until it was finally settled inside the WarGames cage at Total Chaos 2004. Although this chapter in the TWF's history has closed, it will be looked back on as the new beginning of the TWF, for after these two sides feuded, the TWF was never the same place.
