The TJS Centre, Brackla, Bridgend

* Warning! *
The following program is a presentation of the Total Wrestling Federation. It will contain strobe lighting effects and sudden loud noises which may startle. The program may also contain scenes which cause offence to younger and other viewers.
Viewer Discretion is Advised!

The opening package reviewed the events of FURY, in particular Mr. BIG managing to lose control upon hearing who Paul Heyman had booked to face Mastermind at No Way Back, and Heyman revealing the announcement of The Defender to face Mastermind on Sunday at the close of Friday's show.
'Heavy' plays to an applause in the TJS Centre, which is filled to capacity tonight. This is the usual case as the Centre holds less than 1,000 people. This is the venue of the TWF's first ever show on February 8, 2000, and tonight, we are surrounded by some stars from that first show, including Matthew "D" Jones, Crazy Thunder, Scotty Pascoe, Madd Boy and "The Real Deal" Murphy. Scott Hudson and Bryan Daniels welcome us to the show and tell us that the spate of good weather in Brackla these last couple of days has done nothing to help the mood of some of the TWF superstars who feel personally offended that a PCW guy will be involved in the main event at No Way Back. In any event, expect some people to speak out tonight, on a show where we expect to hear from Deadman about his Biker Chain Match with Jason Davies on Sunday, as well as The Fox taking on TWF "Original" Josh Jericho in a prelude to the Tag Team Championship showdown at the Brackla Community Centre.

{Jon Bennetta vs. Zero}
'Poison' by Alice Cooper begins to play to a roar from the crowd as the "Lover Boy", Jon Bennetta makes his way down to the ring for this match up with Zero. Bennetta is accompanied again by some of Brackla's finest looking ladies, who all appear to be enjoying his company. Bryan Daniels berates Bennetta for his use of the women, but Hudson simply says Bennetta is having a good time, and who can blame him.
'Incoming' plays to huge jeers as Zero makes his way down to the ring with tag team partner Disturbed. As the two make their way down to the ring, we are shown what happened last week on Grit BasH, when Disturbed and Zero beat down a stricken Jon Bennetta after he defeats Disturbed in a one-on-one match. Bennetta personally requested this match despite persuasion by Commissioner Paul Heyman to do otherwise.
This was a typical straight-up brawl between two guys who don't exactly like each other at the moment. Bennetta gave his all in the bout despite facing younger and superior opposition. But, Zero wasn't exactly perfect and his flaws were exposed brilliantly by Bennetta, using his vast experience to grind the youngster down. In fact, Bennetta, through his experience, got Zero down with a series of back suplexes and was ready to execute his trademark Kiss of Death, when Disturbed distracted referee Leandro Pires on the apron. Pires was having none of it, ejecting Disturbed from ringside, but as he turned around, he saw Zero clock Bennetta with a trash can. Bennetta was declared winner via disqualification, but Disturbed and Zero continued their malicious beat-down despite Pires's call to stop. Pires was eventually thrown over the top rope, and Disturbed and Zero set Bennetta up for their finishing move, Technically Superior.
Suddenly, a mysterious looking guy runs down to the ring carrying a steel chair. As he enters the ring, it becomes apparent he is no fan who's jumped the rails. The man cracks Disturbed and Zero over the head with the chair and the two men are left down, and the man takes down the hood on his jacket and it is TWF "Original" Joey Davies! Davies grabs the microphone and says that he was out the back with some friends catching up here tonight, but he saw these two jerk-offs trying to beat-down a TWF legend in Lover Boy Jonny B. Joey Davies that it's perfect timing because he knows there is an opening for a match at No Way BacK this Sunday, and before he got out here, he received confirmation that it will be Disturbed & Zero vs. Jon Bennetta and Joey Davies in a tag team match this Sunday! The crowd goes crazy as Daniels says that this is totally unfair on Disturbed & Zero who were probably going to be resting their injuries from this "heinous" beatdown. Hudson says all is fair in love and the Total Wrestling Federation as Jonny B and Joey D pose for the crowd and discuss their opponents on Sunday before they head backstage.

{Backstage: The Jocks}
Backstage, in their locker room, Holly has the Jocks assembled and ready for their actions this evening. Louise is joining her on their feet whilst the rest of their team is seated on sofas in their large locker room. Holly hypes up the stable by reminding them that now they have dominated the rest of the TWF into becoming the #1 faction, their next targets are coming into focus. Holly says that between now and Sunday, those targets must be maimed and made ready for their execution on Sunday at No Way Back. Holly says that Blonde Man and Brownie can easily get their hands on Marz, seeing as he has no partner. Jason Davies has survived tLC V last month at Deadly MindGames and at No Way BacK, he will prove that he is the most dominant IC champion of all-time by steamrolling over Deadman. Holly grabs the Jocks and gets them to do the Jock's huddle.

{Paul Heyman Promo}
Scott Hudson and Bryan Daniels welcome us back to the TJS Centre on what has been a glorious day in Bridgend county and tonight, TWF Wednesday Grit BasH is being brought to you by Sky HD, upgrade to Sky HD now and get a free Sky + subscription, and by Nokia ‐ connecting people.
'This is Extreme' starts up and the crowd rises to give a mixed reaction to the TWF's Commissioner, Paul Heyman as he walks down to the ring, wearing his trademark NY Yankees baseball cap and dark coloured suit. Scott Hudson tells us that since Heyman's appointment just 2 weeks ago, he has managed to singlehandedly change the face of the TWF, but he is by no-means as popular as some of our previous commissioners. Daniels disagrees, saying Heyman has been the breath of fresh air this company has needed for a long-time to get it's ass in gear. Heyman enters the ring and already has a microphone in his hand.
Heyman starts off by saying that he had a weird experience today. He walked into the TJS Centre being almost completely ignorant of the place this venue has in the history of the TWF. Heyman says that tonight, although the TWF Arena and TWF Towers are around the corner, he thinks that this is more like home. It's just like his old Bingo Hall in Philadelphia. Except even he knows the TWF has done better than ECW. But, he is not here to dwell on his past. Heyman is here and now because the Board of Directors did not want this company to fall apart like many other places are doing. Heyman coughs "WWE" and the crowd cheers, starting a huge "Fuck Vince" chant. Heyman remarks, "Hey, even you guys know what Triple H does on a nightly basis". Heyman says that he has come to the TWF to make sure that there isn't anyone who thinks that they can sell out and put their faces all over the damn place and call themselves big time. Heyman understands that his past few decisions have no been popular ones, but Heyman is not here to be anybody's friend. He is here to do a damn good job and ensure his family finally gets to see some money on the table. He knows that The Defender is not exactly everybody's friend here in the TWF, but he is confident he can give Mastermind a good match on Sunday and No Way BacK will be a momentous event for all those involved.
Suddenly, PCW's music starts up, and PCW Owner Mr. Hughes walks down to the ring with his "PCW legend" The Defender walking in tow. Hughes wastes no time and enters the ring and stands on opposite sides of the ring to Heyman. Hughes says that he has a lot to thank Paul Heyman for. In the last two weeks, PCW's stock has shot up magnificently and he has finally become a millionaire. The crowd boos as the Defender grins along nicely. Hughes that on Sunday, he will finally get revenge on the company that has disrespected his organisation and it's legacy over the past decade. On Sunday night, he will finally hold his man's arm in the air as the TWF World Champion, then on PCW's next TV show, he will parade the belt before dumping it in the trash where it belongs. Heyman quickly objects saying that Hughes wasn't supposed to come out here to rant about how the TWF has ignored PCW. Heyman says that if PCW was any good, maybe it would have taken more notice and considered it a rival. Now that Hughes has managed to bore him for five minutes, Heyman has the power to change the match to something that PCW wouldn't like. The crowd shouts "Tables! Tables!" remarking on PCW's famous ban on tables that has existed through out the promotion's existence. Heyman says that instead of that, he was reading through the TWF's event history over the weekend and he realised something, there hasn't been a TWF World Championship match like the one he's about to announce for a very long time. In fact, he doesn't think there has been a straight-up match of this kind for the title ever. Hughes tells Heyman to cut the crap, and Heyman informs Hughes that on Sunday, the match will now be Mastermind vs. The Defender in a ladder match for the TWF World Championship. The crowd goes nuts as Heyman tells Hughes to leave the ring as he has one more announcement to make. Head of Security David Owen brings his team out who escort Hughes and Defender out of the building. Heyman then announces that he was looking through the card and realised that there were some glaring omissions and after Sunday, the World Title will have no #1 contender, so on Sunday, there will be a Fatal Four Way match between Frekishi, Matthew Jones, Big Martin and "The MasterStroke" Aaron Hill, with the winner able to take their title shot at any time they so choose. Heyman says that this is because this isn't any other show on TV, this, is the TWF. Heyman leaves the ring with Hudson hyping up the #1 contender's match, with Daniels complaining about the lack of preparation Defender now has with the match for Sunday being changed.

{Backstage: Mastermind with Mr. Smooth}

Scott Hudson and Bryan Daniels discuss the words and actions of Mastermind in his previous interview with Mr. Smooth, with Hudson remarking that Mastermind goes into No Way BacK on Sunday as the underdog against a man who is more adept with a ladder match than he is. They get interrupted by the sound of guitar feedback, and "World to Come" by Gojira. The crowd rises to cheer as Marz makes his way down to the ring. Hudson discusses Marz's reasoning for leaving it this late in the show to come out here, saying his partner must truly be earth shattering. Daniels says that no matter what Marz's pedigree is in this company, he is facing far greater experts in the terms of tag teams in Team EV this Sunday, and the two brothers can do no worse than embarrass the self proclaimed "King of Hardkore" in front of his hometown fans.
Marz enters the ring and grabs the microphone from ring announcer Karli Andrews. Marz says it's good to be back home. Marz says that seven years ago, in this very venue, he and a few others developed a dream. That dream rose from the ashes a couple of times, partly because of his involvement and eventually became this thing of beauty called the TWF. Marz says that the TWF has had a rollercoaster ride the last couple of years, with the industry in a bit of a slump in these parts with the competition drying up and no reason to turn up, but now, it's back. Marz says that there are very few constants in this industry anymore. He points to former TWF chairmen Neil Davies and Steve Howells, who are seated in the front row. Marz asks them to stand they do, to huge cheers from the crowd. Marz says that it was those gentlemen's vision that helped the company get started, and now they are back to doing what they love: teaching. And Marz then thought that there is one thing he loves more than anything else, and Michelle will kill him from saying it, but it's wrestling people to within an inch of their damn lives and walking away from it. Marz continues to say that at No Way BacK, he will go into the Brackla Community Centre much in the same way he did seven years ago when the company first started, and just like then, as now, he will walk out as the winner of the match.
Marz is interrupted by the sound of Dave Mustaine and his cry of "It's Time. Crush'em!" as the Jock re-mix of Megadeth's song blares over the PA. Out walk the brotherly duo of Blonde Man and Brownie, Team EV. Blonde Man has the microphone and says that he doesn't know whether to come down with a handkerchief or not. Blonde Man mocks Marz saying that was the most heartfelt speech he has ever heard and he's gonna pussy out of their match at No Way Back. Brownie then grabs the microphone and informs Marz that really, what Marz was on about is a pile of absolute crap. The crowd jeers this remark as Brownie continues. Marz claims to be a man who stands for what the TWF is all about. He's seen it all, he's beaten them all, yet the one thing Marz never mentions anymore is the fact he tried to run this company out of the crowd. Team EV remind Marz that they were one of the first to jump to TECW/NCW, and they were also the first to come back. Blonde Man specifically then tells Marz "Pal, you were no good seven years ago when we first started, and you're still no good now". The crowd jeers furiously as Marz cuts the two off in a rage, and informs them that you all live by your mistakes. But life has a really funny way of working things out. Because his partner on Sunday was his long-time enemy, but for old-times sake, they have decided to re-unite to take on an old enemy, just like they did seven years ago. Blonde Man then says "I'm just waiting to hear that guitar riff and the smoke pouring out behind us", referring to Marz's long-time running partner, The Shott's ring entrance. Marz then suggests that they think about what they just said. The crowd goes nuts, picking up on the reference with Blonde Man and Brownie completely oblivious.
Suddenly, the synth kicks in, and POW! 'Hell' by Disturbed plays to a massive ovation from the crowd! Blonde Man and Brownie turn around to see standing in his usual pose at the top of the aisle way in a TWF 2000-style "Bring the Pain" t-shirt, Mr. BIG. Biggie stands at the top of the ramp with Marz in the ring. Biggie smiles as Hudson goes nuts in the ring with Daniels proclaiming that this needs to be stopped and demands Paul Heyman gets security out to the ring. As Hudson reminds Daniels that Biggie is the MD, Team EV charge at Biggie, but he brings them into the ring, tossing Brownie like a rag doll into Marz's path, and sets him up for the Pedigree. Blonde Man however, quickly grabs a chair from the other side of the ring and before Marz hits the move, smashes him across the shoulders with the chair. Blonde Man turns his attention to Biggie, and Blonde Man swings the chair viciously at Biggie, only for him to duck the chair shot and throw Blonde Man into the corner. The crowd rises to their feet in anticipation of Biggie's old finishing move, the Firebreather. But, Brownie pulls Blonde Man out and the two exit the ring quickly as Biggie helps Marz to his feet. Hudson says that at No Way BacK, these two teams will settle a seven year old vendetta against each other that goes right back to a famously cancelled match at No Way Out 2000. Daniels says that it's obvious why the Z-Pack chickened out, citing Team EV's ingenuity to get them out of tight spots. Hudson disagrees, but as 'Hell' plays, Biggie and Marz stare down Team EV, who are holding each other at the top of the ramp. Biggie and Marz talk thrash to Team EV as Hudson reminds fans to join us for FURY this Friday.
