TWF Wednesday Grit BasH Results
May 23, 2007 Llandow Aerodrome, Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan * Warning! *
The following program is a presentation of the Total Wrestling Federation. It will contain strobe lighting effects and sudden loud noises which may startle. The program may also contain scenes which cause offence to younger and other viewers. Viewer Discretion is Advised! For more information, visit TWF.com The opening video replayed some of the highlights from Sunday's spectacular pay-per-view event, Last Man Standing. Particular prominence was given to the Mr. BIG/Tom Williams encounter, The Assassin announcing he was becoming the "Judge, Jury and Executioner" of the Total Wrestling Federation after making his shock return, and the amazing finish to the Mastermind/Matthew Jones match which saw Jones being sent through the set of the event along with Mastermind, and the champion barely making the 10-Count to remain the champion. 'Heavy', the Grit BasH theme, plays to a huge roar of cheers from the crowd. The pyros and fireworks set off, giving the famous set a brightly coloured sparkle to kick off the show. A large crowd has turned up tonight to the Llandow Aerodrome, on this historic occasion as the TWF makes it's Freeview debut. Scott Hudson is joined, as usual, by his broadcast partner, the ever unforgiving Bryan Daniels, and they inform us that in the planned main event tonight, Team EV will face Dougie Christian and Frekishi. Also tonight, we expect to hear from The Assassin and "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta, and we expect to hear from many more TWF superstars tonight as we head towards the next pay-per-view event, Against All Odds on June 10 at the Grand Pavilion in Porthcawl. {The Changing Room, with guest, Sophie} "It's time… Crush'em!" The crowd leaps back out of their seats to boo as the Jock re-mix of Megadeth's 'Crush'em' begins to play. Already setup in the ring is the set of The Changing Room, the interview segment of The Jocks. Holly leads her troops down to the ring: TWF Intercontinental Champion Jason Davies, Tom Williams, Blonde Man, Brownie, Josh Jericho, Todd McFarlene and Louise. There is a notable absentee however, Matthew Jones. Holly instructs her fellow faction members to be seated as she takes the microphone to massive chants of "Whore! Whore!" from the crowd. "I like these fans… they speak their mind. And the truth too." remarks Hudson, with Daniels sniggering in the background. Holly grabs the microphone, and asks the fans for quiet. As usual, the boos get louder, and an even bigger chant of "Slut! Slut!" begins, directed at Holly. Louise stands up, and the entire crowd it seems shouts "You screwed NJS!". Holly says she did exactly that and gets an even bigger reaction. Holly says that NJS isn't fit to scrape the shoes of the gentlemen in the ring here tonight. These are the premier athletes of the TWF. At Last Man Standing, they proved this, but out-wrestling every person they wrestled on the card, and walking away with their heads held high. Holly points to "her man", Jason Davies, who defeated Stephen Jenkins in a brutal Steel Cage Match, and remains the Intercontinental Champion, and he even turned up tonight, in his colours to prove it. To address the issue of their missing team member, the 2007 MVP of the Jocks, Matthew Jones, is still nursing his injuries from the "heinous" attack he received from Mastermind on Sunday, but he will be back soon. Holly says that now that the formalities are out of the way, she would like to introduce her guest at this time. On Sunday, she managed to be the vital distraction that helped Mr. BIG "defeat" Tom Williams in their match, making her TWF debut. "I simply wish to enquire about her status", Holly says. Please welcome… Sophie. 'Violence' by pop-punkers blink-182 blares over the PA system as Sophie, looking simply gorgeous in a flowery dress and flip-flops, walks down casually to the ring. She enters the ring and finds all of The Jocks trying to get a sneaky stare. Daniels exclaims that Sophie screwed The Jocks on Sunday and he personally can't wait until she gets her comeuppance, which will happen soon. Sophie grabs a microphone from ring announcer Karli Andrews and stands on the opposite side of the ring to Holly. Holly says to Sophie, "Welcome to our changing room, full of the biggest and best men in the TWF". Holly says that she saw what Sophie did to them on Sunday at Last Man Standing, and she extended an invite to Sophie here tonight to quell her interest in joining the premier faction here in the Total Wrestling Federation: The Jocks. The crowd boos. Holly says that in the ring right now, are the best wrestlers in the TWF. Sophie does not need to hang around with a man of the past. She needs to look forward. Holly says that planning for the future with her current client is like driving a car only using the rear-view mirror. Biggie has gone on about his past achievements for far too long. He is not the future of this company, or any company. His Metal Militia is nothing more than a sideshow in his charade of the ownership of this company. Sophie can leave him, and his so-called glorious past behind, and be a part of the future. Be a part of the Jocks. She ticks all the right boxes: she's mean, she can be tough, and she’s gorgeous. The one thing she fails on is the dress code. Instead of the "hideous" dress she's wearing, a suit is required as uniform here. Louise stands up and twirls to applause from The Jocks, whilst Sophie looks on in disgust. "Personally, Sophie could probably make a garbage can look stunning" says Hudson, to which Daniels replied "If that's all she looks good in, she sure as hell needs a suit!". Sophie takes the microphone and says that first off, she is thankful for the invite to the Changing Room tonight. She has learned first hand what The Jocks stand for, and that is that they are a really class… … less organisation. The Jocks are so concerned with the bullseye that they placed on Biggie, Holly has neglected to mention the fact that Hades, a man they chased for almost a year, is still the Television Champion. Blonde Man and Brownie might as well move in with Leeds United at the moment "because just like those idiots, they can't beat anybody!". The crowd roars with cheers as Holly's face turns red. Sophie continues, saying that Biggie and her get along on many things, and in this business, she is as tough as he is. Biggie is a remarkable man for all he has done for this company and how he has almost singlehandedly saved South Wales from the gutter in the last decade or so. And the Jocks are quick to pick up on his negatives, but there are many positives. Sophie says that Biggie can drive, and he can drive fast, and he never looks in the rear-view mirror. He only looks "at the bonnet, to see which dumb son he's gonna run over next, who is stupid enough to cross his path". As far as the dress code goes, "well, if you wanna look like you're about 40 and in need of botox, you go girl! I'd rather stay the way I am thanks" Sophie continues. She is grateful for the invite to join, but at this time… "I decline". The crowd cheers, and Louise stands up and joins Holly. Louise says that she thinks Sophie should re-consider. The Jocks are a great organisation and her career can only go up from here. Sophie again declines, and Holly takes the microphone from Louise's hand with force. Holly says that she has "prepared for this eventuality". Holly instructs the Jocks to rise from their bench and surround Sophie. The Jocks stand up and encircle Sophie, and Louise slips out of the ring. She goes under the apron and collects some rope and says that "you will simply succumb to our ways eventually my dear. You do things our way. There is no other way." Sophie looks genuinely scared as The Jocks grab hold of her. "Fi… fy… fo… fum… I smell the blood of… argh, I don't smell blood, I smell protein shakes!" The crowd cheers as the distinctive voice of Mr. BIG is heard over the PA. Sophie, who has her arms and legs bounds at this point, is still standing, with Holly and Louise holding her hair as Biggie continues to speak with the rest of the faction watching intently. "You dumb punk-asses. You think that doing all this and trying to invite my manager to the ring will bring me out so you can beat on my arse? In the words of the great Rob Halford… you got another thing comin'. Tom, dude… it's a real shame that your butt-boy friend has gone down under now, because who's gonna back you up now? It's a shame when no-one has got your BACK… isn't it?". With the emphasis on "back", the crowd roars to cheer, as Mr. BIG slides into the ring carrying his trademark baseball bat. The Jocks do not know this, but turn around to see Biggie, with his trademark demonic smirk on his face. McFarlene immediately charges at Biggie but is promptly thrown over the top rope. Team EV leave, saving themselves for their match later, heading up the ramp with Louise and Josh Jericho. Davies charges at Biggie and lands a few punches, but Biggie replies with a swift bat shot to the gut. Hudson remarks that Biggie still knows how to bat them up. Biggie grabs Davies and places him position for The Equaliser, but Tom Williams runs into the ropes. He flies off, and instead of hitting Biggie with a clothesline, he takes his fellow stable member Davies! The crowd is going crazy as Biggie now has his sights set on Holly, who still has a hold on Sophie. Biggie drops his baseball bat to huge boos. He approaches Holly, bargaining with her for the release of his companion. Daniels quickly notes "that sneaky bugger is getting something out of his jeans". When his bargaining with Holly fails, Biggie grabs the object from his jeans. It is his trusty old lead pipe, his weapon of choice in the early days of his career! The crowd goes absolutely nuts, with Daniels shouting to Holly "don't let this creep win!". Holly laughs at Biggie, but he charges at Holly, and she tumbles out of the ring into the arms of Williams and Davies, nursing their heads. Biggie releases Sophie from her binds, and hugs her tightly as The Jocks retreat up the ramp. The Jocks stop at the Gorilla Position and stare down at Biggie as he flips over the bench the Jocks used. He grabs Sophie's flip-flops from the other side of the ring and hands them back to her as Holly can be seen shouting "You're an arse. I'm gonna kill you… you fuc… " as the camera cuts back to Biggie standing on the second turnbuckle, talking his own trash to the Jocks. As the Jocks head backstage, Biggie glances around at the crowd and smiles. He does his Cherry Coke calling sign and smiles at Sophie. Sophie smiles back and joins Biggie on the turnbuckle facing the TotalTron. Two Cherry Cokes each are thrown, and Biggie downs them quickly, as Sophie takes more time to drink hers. Biggie moves to a turnbuckle opposite Sophie facing the opposite side of the crowd, nearest the announce table, and grabs another two Cherry Cokes. Biggie spots a young fan dressed exactly like him standing in the front row of the crowd. He points him out to Sophie, and she smiles, climbing down from the turnbuckle. Biggie hands the young boy a can of Cherry Coke, and motions to clash the cans. The cans clash, sending Cherry Coke everywhere, but, the young fan does not care one bit. Biggie flips his hat down and grabs a pen, signing the young fan's cap. The boy goes to sit back down with his parents, but, he calls Sophie over. Biggie whisper's in the young boy's ear, and the boy's smile grows ever wider. Sophie then kisses the young boy on the cheek, with a considerable grown from the males in the crowd. Biggie and Sophie smile and shake the hands of the parents, before heading backstage, with the chorus of 'Hell' blaring in the background. The camera stays on the young boy, with Hudson remarking "that is the stuff that dreams are made of". Daniels isn't his cynical self either, stating "for once, I'd kill to be that kid". Hudson asks why, assuming the reply will be meeting Biggie face-to-face, which is a dream of many young fans. "No, to be that close to Sophie. As the commercial goes… imagine the possibilities!" Daniels states with a huge smile, with Hudson looking on angrily. Biggie and Sophie head up the ramp discussing what they have just done and head backstage. {Backstage with Jessica Mancini: Stephen Jenkins} Backstage; the camera is focused on interviewer Jessica Mancini. She informs us that her guest at this time is the man who came up short in his quest to become TWF Intercontinental Champion for the second time on Sunday. He is Stephen Jenkins. Jenkins appears on screen with his manager Hayley Holder. Holder tells Mancini that on Sunday, Stephen was extremely unlucky to leave the CIA without the title as he gave a tremendous amount of effort to become the champion once more, but the brutality of a Steel Cage match can never be understated. Mancini says that with more effort, maybe they wouldn't be standing here without the championship on his shoulder. Jenkins tells Mancini that she can shut up and take notice for a second here. Jenkins says that it's all the rage right now for people to be going on about how he hasn't done very much since he lost the Intercontinental Championship, but, he has just come back from the Commissioner, Paul Heyman's office and tonight, the road to becoming a champion once more continues. Mancini enquires as to Jenkins's visit to the Commish's office, asking whether it was because he wanted to leave. Holder says that it was in fact to book a match between Jenkins and a former friend of his, and a person who he can unleash a lot of anger out on this evening: J-Fox. Jenkins tells Mancini that tonight, Fox better get a hold of Luke Baird, his brother The Fox, his grandfather The Sly Old Fox and the Fox and the Hounds, because tonight, it isn't just about revenge… it's all about… it's all the rage. Jenkins and Holder walk away, with Jenkins looking pumped up, and Mancini looking dejected with what in her eyes will probably be a disappointing interview. ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ Commercial Break ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ ‐ TWF Last Man Standing Encores • Snickers • [CD]: Megadeth ‐ "United Abominations" • Nintendo Wii • Dell • Tesco • Volvo C70 [TWF Returns!] {Match #1: "The Sensational" Eric Herrera vs. Big Martin Referee: Leandro Pires} {Backstage with Kaysie Anderson: "Lover Boy" Jonathan Bennetta} {In-Ring Interview: The Assassin} [BG Music: "My Town" ‐ MD.45] Come and experience the TWF live!
