Now, I'm sure many of you would like to know where the this phenomenon began? Allow me to tell you...

Dateline: February 2000
A cold, dull Wednesday Morning, on Tremains Junior School yard, Brackla. 3 boys begin a legacy that it sure to not be forgotten...

The Red Dragon and Chick Job-Smith battled it out for 'The Cruiserweight Championship'. The Red Dragon pinned Job-Smith to the wall, and became champion. Afterwards, The Red Dragon approached the special referee of that match and asked for the federation's name. "T-W-F" said a big lad called Mr. BIG.
All the more memorable is the fact that it was a different TWF to the one we know today. Mr. BIG was a cunning heel, and The Red Dragon was a well over baby face. Towards the summer months, something else happened. The TWF began holding regular lumberjack matches. Not in a real ring of course, but we were little kiddies back then. Lumberjack matches were a TWF Speciality. In fact, we held them more regularly than the WWF[E] did!

By the end of the summer, there I was, writing the results for the TWF on my PC. In fact, I still got them with me. Trust me, they were pants vB Grin but, when we moved up to comp...controversy began...

A young lad approached me, claiming he was Dead Cool. Indeed he was, weren't you Mike? vB Wink This young person suggested we re-name the TWF - BCW. Brynteg Championship Wrestling. Had I agreed, imagine it being the 'BCW Discussion Forums', BCW Raw, BCW Grit BasH, BCW Nitro!
Now, the TWF had grown. Two upcoming stars joined. Underfire and High Voltage. (Weird innit how Ben and Mike changed their name like chameleons and me and Rhys have kept our names since day 1 vB Smile)

Now, the TWF was virtually non existent from August to November 2001. Until Dangerously Serious 2001 : The Return. 8 Person Elimination Tag-Team Match. Then, perhaps one of the best TWF PPVs of all time, PayBack 2001, where Marz Holly became TWF Champion, winning The Full House. PayBack 2001, also saw the last PPV appearance of Mr. BIG, who had announced he would be leaving to take on the XWF Full-Time.

The TWF Struggled. New Year Partee and Deadly MindGames both drew very low buy-rates and were quickly forgotten. The night after Deadly MindGames, High Voltage announced that a friend of his would return soon. Speculation said it was Triple J, but what met the crowd on March 4th 2002, shocked even the internet specialists...
The Main Event saw High Voltage take on The Shott in a Hardcore Match. High Voltage promised this person would come back, but Marz said he knows who it is, and he's coming for different reasons!
During the match, the lights went out, and suddenly, the crowd erupted, Mr. BIG was back!

From No Way Out 2002 to Against All Odds, the TWF has become a force to be recond with. With the TWF Web and these very Forums, the TWf can only be getting from strength to strength...
