TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
July 24th 2002
GCourt Arena, Brackla

The Opening Video was a flashback through Summer Break and The Aftermath on Raw. Suddenly, the screen fades to black, and we see its Mr. Edwards. He is booed in the arena and says he has 2 announcements to make. The first one is that the Triple Threat Ladder Match has been postponed and has been moved to Summer Break. NJS will take on Deadman, AJ Jeffers and an un-named person in the first ever Hell-in-a-Cell Hardcore Ladder Match!
The second announcement is that tonight we will learn the first mystery contender for the TWF World Title Match at Summer Break! Mr. Edwards thanks us, and the camera fades.

A New Grit BasH video rolls as 'Heavy' hits, and we zoom in onto a new look Grit BasH set, including a brand new logo!
Michael Cole is sitting by Sting for tonight's events! The smoke cleared, and the crowd stays on their feet as 're-Arranged' hits the PA. Mr. BIG walks out onto the ramp and gets a tremendous pop. Mr. BIG has the TWF World Championship on his shoulder once more, even though he is not the TWF Champion!
Mr. BIG says that The BIG Storm has come back to the GCourt Arena and says he is gonna get straight down to business. Last night, we went into his office at TWF Towers and submitted an application to buy the TWF World Championship around his waist. He went to his solicitors this morning and found out the application was successful!
The Vamp's music starts up, and he walks down to the ring getting boos from the crowd. The Vamp says he came out here to say that before the RWF got bought out by the TWF, he was RWF Champion. He says he was the best in one business, and he can the best in another! Mr. BIG says he can solve this problem. He says he is gonna place The Vamp in the Six Man Title Match at Summer Break, and the winner will become the first ever holder of the Undisputed TWF World Heavyweight Championship! The crowd pops and The Vamp nods. Mr. BIG then says he can face Adam Taylor of The Alliance tonight for The TWF European Championship!
're-Arranged' re-starts as Mr. BIG exits the ring. He walks up the ramp, hoisting the TWF World Championship Belt high in the air.

Backstage, Marz is in his dressing room watching the action on a TV. The Shott comes in and offers his hand to Marz. Marz shakes it and the two begin to talk about what happened at Total Chaos. The Shott and Marz apologise for their actions toward each other, when The Rogerz come in. Crash says he won't forgive Marz for costing them the Tag-Team Titles in the first place! Marz says they can settle this one in the ring tonight. Crash says yeah, and we have another confirmed match for tonight!

Michael Cole and Sting welcome us back and comment on the two already confirmed matches for tonight. Michael Cole then introduces us to some video footage from Raw, when the women Mr. BIG saw in the crowd at Total Chaos was introduced as Sarah and is now Matthew Jones' manager!

Luke Baird's music hits, and he and his BCW Friends walk down to the ring. Sarah is at ringside with Matthew Jones, in a quite skimpy outfit, which makes half the crowd get their cameras out!
'All The Rage' smashes over the PA, and the crowd cheers for Steven Jenkins. He walks down the ramp, holding hands with his valet Hayley Holder, who is accompanied by Team EV!

Luke Baird vs. Steven Jenkins

The two men trade punches and kicks before Baird gains an upper hand by nailing Jenkins in the gut. Baird dominates the match, but only until Jenkins nails a Superplex from the top rope. Team EV take care of BCW at ringside, as Sarah and Hayley get into a slap-fest! The referee gets nailed out cold by Matthew Jones, but then Mr. BIG storms down to the ring! The crowd goes crazy as Mr. BIG clears the BCW guys out of the ring. Mr. BIG grabs sight of Matthew Jones and nails The Equaliser! And in an un-characteristic move, Mr. BIG nails Matthew Jones with a Five-Star Frog Splash!
Jenkins picks Jones back up and nails the Jenkins DDT to score the victory!

Winner: Steven Jenkins

Mr. BIG smirks on the ramp as the crowd cheers for Jenkins victory. Biggie flanks Team EV as they walk up the ramp.

In the Backstage Area, Lita is standing by AJ Jeffers. The crowd boos as Lita asks for AJ's thoughts on the Hell-in-a-Cell Hardcore Ladder Match to take place at Summer Break. Jeffers comments by saying he is looking forward to climbing the ladder and getting his IC Title Back.

We stay backstage, and we go inside Mr. Edwards's office. He is laughing over the footage of Total Chaos, where he screwed High Voltage. He hears a knock on the door, and High Voltage comes in. The crowd cheers for High Voltage, but immediately boos when High Voltage shakes Mr. Edwards hand. High Voltage comments on the excellent Triple Screw-job at Total Chaos and say he is looking forward to seeing a few friends hanging around with him before Summer Break.

We come back from the commercial break to the sound of The Vamp's music hitting. He walks down the ramp, and insists on being announced as RWF Champion. Ring Announcer Joel Gertner eventually agrees and the crowd boos.
'Senior English' hits the PA and The Alliance makes their way out onto the ramp. They come out to receive both boos and cheers.

TWF European Championship
The Vamp vs. Adam Taylor w. / The Alliance

The Vamp started a major offensive by punching and kicking the crap out of Taylor. Vamp was the man for most of the match, with Taylor rarely reversing moves. The Alliance invaded the ring at one point during the match, and all hell ensued. The ref was knocked out cold again, when the RWF contingent come running down the ramp! The crowd booed, as the RWF took out the Alliance. But, out of nowhere came Thomas Grubb of The Alliance! He nailed The Godsmack on The Vamp and Taylor scored the fall to win the match!

Winner: Adam Taylor
(New TWF European Champion)

Taylor and his buddies ran straight up the ramp, with Taylor's European Championship held high in the air. Adam Taylor has scored an upset victory over the RWF Champion Vamp!

Backstage, Mr. BIG is watching the latest events on camera. Suddenly, Matthew Jones and Sarah come in. Matthew Jones gets in Mr. BIG's face and demands a match on the new Raw is War on Friday. Biggie says he can have a match, against him! Matthew Jones will take on Mr. BIG on Raw is War!

Speaking of Raw, a Raw advertisement is shown, featuring Mr. BIG. Michael Cole and Sting tell us to watch Raw this week, as they have a new logo, a new set and new music (well, not exactly vB Wink)
We come back from that advert to see Marz walking to the ring. He gets a huge pop from the crowd. We then see The Shott doing some stretches, and then zooming in onto The Rogerz, as they talk towards going to the ring...

The Rogerz music hits and the crowd boo the former TWF Tag-Team Champions to the ring.
BANG! 'Just Another Victim' starts up and The Shott gets a mixture of both boos and cheers as he walks to the ring. The crowd is already on their feet, when suddenly, 'No Diggity' hits, and Mr. Edwards walks out. He came out to announce this match as a Revenge Match!
The crowd booed Mr. Edwards off the stage, but went ape shit when 'Glass Shatters' blasted over the PA system. Marz walked out, Tag-Team Title in hand to masses of cheers from his newly acquired fans in TECW.

Revenge Match
Marz & The Shott vs. The Rogerz

The two teams brawled with each other on the outside of the ring for a short while, before The Shott and Crash entered the ring. Crash made a few cheap tags before getting back into the ring once more. The Shott struggled, and the crowd willed him on to Tag-In Marz.
The Shott got the tag, and Marz stormed out of his corner, clothes lining both The Rogerz to the outside. Suddenly, The RWF made another appearance on the ramp and walked down the ramp. Jean Claude Van Slam, The Mangler, The Vamp, High Voltage, Blade, Ripper and Jamie watched as Marz and The Shott were beaten down by The Rogerz. But the arena went pitch black, and suddenly, THOSE WORDS appeared on screen! 'Just Think About It'! The crowd blew the roof off the TECW Arena with an almighty pop as 're-Arranged' hit the PA, the RWF expected Mr. BIG to come down the ramp, but Mr. BIG came through the crowd! He was joined by NJS!
Marz and The Shott doubled teamed The Rogerz, and nailed The Double D! 1-2-3!

Winners: Marz & The Shott

The Rogerz were left laying, as Mr. BIG, Marz, The Shott and NJS cleared the RWF. Mr. Edwards re-appeared on the ramp, holding the new Undisputed TWF World Heavyweight Championship, and had a microphone. He said he bought out the RWF, and on Raw, they will get the second half of it! The TWF first half, RWF second half! The crowd booed Mr. Edwards off the stage as Mr. BIG, Marz, The Shott and NJS just stood in sheer shock at Mr. Edwards's announcement. What does this mean?
