Parking: Coming East (Booked Cars)
Exit from Junction 36b through the slip road and turn right. Follow road down to Multi-Story Car Park. If you booked your space online, show documentation of your purchase and you will be allowed through. From there, you are advised to remember where you parked and you can then catch a shuttle service every 3 minutes or you may use the esculators and make your own way there.
Coming West (Un-Booked Cars)Exit into Junction 36b and turn left at the slip road. You can either use the Multi-Story Car Park or the 500 space car park near the Bridgend Dome Info Center. Coming from the west is a minor dis-advantage as you are the opposite side of the road to the Dome. However, shuttle services are more often and come at least every 2 minutes.
Hotels: For those staying in Bridgend on a short term basis, you are quite lucky. Sarn Junction (36 of the M4), a recently built Holiday Inn which has 300 beds has been built. By August, the TWF has been informed that the NcW Hotel will have been built and it has around 1,050 beds. The TWF's own hotel, TWF Pen-y-Bont Hotel will be built by then, but will not be at full capacity and will only hold 1,000 beds at the time of Summer Break. But, if you are unable to find a bed in Bridgend, try local Bed and Breakfasts which cost as little as £10 a night, or if you prefer hotels, go to nearby cities Swansea, Cardiff or Newport. Cardiff and Swansea are both around a 20 minute drive away, with Swansea in the West and Cardiff in the East. Newport is a 40 minute drive away and is further east than Cardiff. It is Wales' Newest City and I'm pretty sure has a few hotel rooms to celebrate that fact. Those staying in hotels outside 5 miles of the TWF Dome will be able to use free Park and Ride facilities to get to the Dome. The last bus with those using Park and Ride will be leaving Swansea and Cardiff at 6:20pm and Newport at 6pm
Safety: Over 5,000 police officers will be involed in the Operation to keep Summer Break under control. These police officers will have worked at ncW WrestleMadness II, and would have had some kind of experience in controling large crowd numbers. This puts the crowd numbers at the Brewery Field into Nationwide League Division 3 status. This is by far one of the biggest operations ever conducted in UK, let alone Wales. South Wales Police will be on hand will be organizing the 'strategy' on how to police the event.
Wheelchairs: Those in wheelchairs will not feel disadvantaged at the Bridgend Dome. Over 10,000 special seats for those with wheelchairs have been installed, and the blind will have head sets to tell them what's going on. Using the latest technology, the deaf will have a special LCD TV Screen, using TouchScreen Technology and they will be able to view the event, both live in person, and on TV. Glass Lifts have been installed to allow you to see right out into the arena. There will be at least 3 sets of lifts in each quadrant of the Dome.
TV Coverage: TWF Summer Break will be available on PPV nationwide and worldwide. However, in a special deal, Bridgend Pubs and Nightclubs will be allowed to screen the PPV for free (to customers) on a big screen so long as they pay the £13.99 for the PPV. But, as part of the deal, they will get a signed [and framed] TWF T-Shirt by all of the Wrestlers and Staff personally delivered by TWF Wrestlers. Prior to Summer Break, the TWF is screening an hour long special on Sky One, USA Network in America, Canal Plus in France and over 70 other countries showing how Summer Break came to be. There will be live reports from both inside and outside the Dome and around the world in Arenas watching the show on PPV. The show is expected to be hosted by 3 people, Scott Hudson, Bobby Heenan and Lita, with special guests. The TWF will also be featured on both UK and Welsh News Broadcasts, such as BBC1 Wales 'Wales Today' and S4C's 'Newyddion'.
