The opening video was a rather long feature by the TWF's standards. The video showcased the best of the TWF since Halloween Hell and heavily built up the first ever 'TWF House of Pain' match, which is tonight's Main Event.

'Drowning' by Crazy Town started up, and the Outstanding Orlando crowd cheered loudly as the pyros set off from the PayBack stage. The stage was basically that of last year's amazing event, except with minor changes.
Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan sat at ringside, as the camera flicked up and we took a first look at The House of Pain, hanging ominously above the ring.
We immediately went backstage to begin the event, and to Hawke and his bPa's locker room. Hawke stood by, hand-in-hand with Falcon and said that tonight, the BPA has the chance to put to rest the critics. How? Tonight, the BPA has the chance to win both the TWF Intercontinental Championship, and the TWF World Championship, all in the same night. Hawke says that the BPA must win tonight, or they will suffer at all costs.

BANG! 'Blonde Striker' starts up and it looks like we are gonna start with some 6-man Tag-Team Action! Down to the ring come Blonde Man, Steven Jenkins and Hayley Holder to huge cheers from the Orlando crowd. Scott and Bobby thank all the US fans for joining us tonight, and thank them all for tuning into a special edition of Grit BasH this past week on USA Network.
The Glass Shatters and Stone Kold Karl Davies walks down to the ring, minus Rebekah Hearse, who dramatically turned on him on the November 23rd edition of Raw, and became the BPA's latest recruit.
'Bodies' began on the PA, and the fans booed. Down to the ring came Brownie, Sumo Samurai and their partner; Matthew Jones. Rebekah Hearse joined them at ringside.

Blonde Man, Steven Jenkins & Stone Kold Karl Davies


Brownie and Stone Kold started the match, with both men going at it. SKKD threw Brownie into the ropes and Brownie came straight back at him. Huge Back Body Drop by SKKD. The crowd popped as Stone Kold glanced down at his former girlfriend and gave her the finger. SKKD tagged in Steven Jenkins and Jenkins pummelled on Brownie for a short while, as Davies exited the ring. Jenkins nailed Brownie with a strong right, which was countered with an even stronger left from Brownie.
Flapjack to Jenkins, and Brownie stormed across to give the tag. Matthew Jones got it and leaped to the top rope. Jones nailed Jenkins with a Double Axe Handle as soon as Jenkins got back up. Jenkins went flying and basically dived through the ropes. The two teams brawled on the outside as Jenkins and Jones got back into the ring. SKKD and Blonde Man dominated on the outside and Blonde Man saw Brownie down and he began to have an evil smirk. The crowd cheered.
Blonde Man leaped up to the apron and begged Jenkins for the tag. Blonde Man literally jumped in and waited for Brownie to get back up...SMACK! Huge Karate Kick to the face of Brownie! 1-2-3!

'Blonde Striker' began once more and the crowd popped. Bekah got all her men into the ring and the trash talking began.


Backstage, Mr. BIG stood by with Lita.
Lita:            "Mr. BIG, tonight, you face Hawke once more in a re-match from last year's PayBack, and not only that, it's for your TWF Intercontinental Championship. How do you feel about all this?"
Mr. BIG:       "Finally...The BIG Storm has come back...to his second home...ORLANDO, FL! Lita, I have to hand it to you, you got your facts right. Yes, tonight, The Master of The BIG Storm, The Greatest of 'dem All, goes one-on-one with that sucker Hawke. Indeed, it is an exact re-match from last year...with it being a Revenge Match. And it was exactly one year ago then, that The BIG Storm made it's debut. But Lita, you know one think I am jealous with Hawke about...and it's the only thing I'm jealous about Hawke?"
Lita:            "I dunno Biggie, tell us"
Mr. BIG:      "Well, since you asked nicely, I'll tell you. Hawke has got a female manager. In fact, I have never had a female manager...let alone a manger in the TWF. Tonight, that will be put right. Since her group was over doing some promotion for their new TV Series, I phoned her up and asked her if she wanted to be in the home of The Magic...the home of Wally World...the home of some of the best theme parks in the world...and accompany me to the ring. With her being the sweet beautiful girl that she is... she said yes. All I can say...I SCORED...IN A BIG WAY!"

Bobby:            "He raises an interesting point. And if Jerry Lawler were here, he'd say something to the effect of...'PUPPIES!', Scott".
Scott:            "I think your right there Bobby. But, staying on-topic with Females, up next is the match for the TWF Women's Championship! Atomically Kool Kat, the longest reigning TWF Champion that there has ever been, her old friend Champozina. Let's take a look at how this all started..."

A comprehensive video package, charting these two's history together, is shown and begins when Atomically Cool Cat made her TWF debut in October 2000, and beginning the LONGEST TWF Championship reign by anyone...ever. Champozina, as she was then known, then came to the TWF a month later.

'One Love' by Blue hits (and it's not the kind of song Mr. BIG's Manager likes vB Wink) and the crowd rises and cheers. AKK walks down to the ring, belt in hand and poses on a turnbuckle.
'One Step Closer' by S Club Juniors hits and down to the ring walks Champozina. She walks into the ring and stares at the TWF Women's Championship, held in the air by the referee.

Atomically Kool Kat (C) vs. Champozina


AKK slams Champozina. Big backdrop on Champ, executed well. Champozina takes the advantage after a i-block-your-punch-you-don't-block-mine routine. Driven full nelson slam on AKK. Atomically Kool Kat pulls a mule kick out of nowhere. Champ walks into a spike slam. Atomically Kool Kat scores with a killer spinebuster. Champozina fights out of a grapple. Champ body slams Atomically Kool Kat. AKK blocks the suplex attempt. Running knee lift from Atomically Kool Kat. Atomically Kool Kat moves in for the kill. The Feliner!!! That shook the ring. 1-2-3!

Winner: Atomically Kool Kat

The girls hug in the middle of the ring to applause and walk backstage with the belt held in both their hands.


Backstage, TWF European Champion, Jean Claude Van Slam was standing next to Joey Styles.
Joey:            "Jean, tonight, you face High Voltage in perhaps one of the most dangerous matches ever devised here in the TWF. To add to this, it's for your TWF European Championship. How do you feel walking into this match, being uncertain that you will be 100% after it?"
JCVS:            "Well Joey, it's quite simple. There's a certain prat called High Voltage walking around the TWF saying that he is one of the greatest of all time. Lemme ask him...did he ever hold both a singles title and the TWF Tag-Team Championship at the same time? No. All he can claim to be is a fallen TWF World Champion, which let's face it, he is. So tonight, I'm gonna go out there and prove to him that, in the words of Chris Kanyon...'I'm Better Than Him'. Because, if there is an opportunity to strike, I do not strike; it strikes by itself!"

Joey:            "Coming up next everyone is the BLT Match for the TWF European Championship! Back to Scott and Bobby!"

At ringside, the ring attendants, road agents and referees were seen, setting out Tables with ladders on top, with rolls of Barbed Wire and a set of Barbed Wire 2x4s. We then cut to a video package showing the highlights of this feud, beginning from when HV attacked JCVS at a Grit BasH a few weeks ago, and then this match being announced and the aftermath.

The arena darkens...BANG! The lightning strikes the stage and the Pyros go off as 'High Voltage' by Linkin Park goes off, and down to the ring walks the challenger, High Voltage. He is booed down to the ring and the TV shows a sign saying 'High-on-Voltage...and High on Sh!t'.
JCVS's music hits and he walks down to the ring with a smile on his face. The TWF European Championship Belt is around his waist and he takes it off before even getting half way down the ramp. He enters the ring and hands it over to the referee, who then places it on a ring, which is hoisted high above the ring.

Barbed Wire, Ladders & Tables (BLT) Match

High Voltage vs. Jean Claude Van Slam (C)


JCVS and HV lock up in the middle of the ring and JC throws HV straight into the ropes. Voltage gets tangled up in the ropes and JCVS nails him with a few shots to the ribs. JC then runs back towards the ropes and nails HV with a HUGE Dropkick to the Face! HV gets untangled from the ropes and drops to the floor. JCVS takes this opportunity to grab a ladder and sets up a table. He places one ladder in the ring and gets a second 20ft ladder and sets it up near the table. HV comes from nowhere though and nails JCVS with a huge baseball slide!
The crowd doesn't know what to do as HV goes under the ring looking for something. He then realises that all the tables are surrounding the ring and goes to get one. He grabs a table and sets it up beside another table next to it. JCVS is pummelled on for a while and gets nailed with a load of rights. But JCVS reverses as he grabs a chair and nails HV with a thunderous chairshot!
JCVS goes into the ring and gets a 15ft high ladder. He sets it up in the dead centre of the ring and climbs up it. He looks for the belt but forgets it and goes for a massive Senton Bomb onto Voltage (who is laying on the tables)...but he misses! JCVS goes flying through the two tables! HV is crawling into the ring now and crawls up the ladder. The crowd cheers though as The Vamp is seen making a beeline to the ring with a lead pipe in hand! Vamp nails HV with the lead pipe before suplexing him off the ladder!
JC turns around at Vamp and cripples his way into the ring. The crowd cheers loudly and intensely as JCVS climbs the ladder and grabs his European Championship...and gets it!

Winner: Jean Claude Van Slam

JCVS falls off the ladder and HV is laying in the turnbuckle now. He goes over to JC and checks to see if he is OK. He helps JCVS to his feet and him and the Vamp flank JCVS down the ramp as the crowd gives a standing ovation to both men.

A commercial for the first TWF Show of 2003, TWF New Year Partee, is shown. It announces that the main event is a 20-Man Royal Rumble to determine the very first xWa Champion!

Jody Fleisch's music hits and the Phoenix himself walks down to the ring to major cheers from the capacity crowd.
'Senior English' starts up and the crowd boos as Adam Taylor and his Alliance Stable-mates walk down to the ring.

TWF Cruiserweight Championship
Jody Fleisch vs. Adam Taylor (w. / The Alliance)


Adam Taylor walks into a high dropkick from Jody Fleisch. Stiff high kick on Taylor by Jody Fleisch who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Hard back suplex on Adam. Anyone remember when that was Shawn Michaels's finisher? Hard back suplex on Taylor. Anyone remember when that was Shawn Michaels's finisher? Adam powers out of a Jody Fleisch headlock. Spin kick by Taylor to the face. Lightning kick by Taylor on Fleisch. Hooks the leg for a two count. Fleisch counters a backdrop attempt with a kick to the face. Flying reverse elbow by Jody Fleisch. Cover for a two count. Back heel kick off the second rope, Taylor goes down. Cover, but there's a last second kick-out. Adam powers out of a headlock. Stiff high kick on Fleisch by Adam Taylor who has evidently been watching some old AJPW tapes recently. Fleisch reverses a waist lock. Legsweep out of Nowhere. Where is Nowhere, and why do moves keep coming out of there? Does it have a factory? Jody Fleisch moves in for the kill. Phoenix 720 DDT!!! 1....2....3!!

A video package, charting the most infamous feud in TWF history is shown. It all began in October 2000, when Hawke and his 'Boyz' made their TWF debut. Around a year later, one of the most brutal matches in history took place at this very PPV, which saw Mr. BIG come out victorious. This year, when Mr. BIG won Hawke's IC Championship, the feud re-started and became even more intense. Now, tonight...in a rematch from last year, The Only One takes on The Singing God and self proclaimed Sex Icon in a match for the TWF Intercontinental Championship.

'What About Hawke' hits and the crowd boos rather quietly for Hawke. He walks down to the ring with Falcon (linking arms) and poses on the turnbuckle. The crowd is mostly standing on their feet now as Hawke goes under the ring and grabs a chair and a trash can and chucks them into the ring.
'Just Think About It'!...BANG! 're-Arranged' hits and the crowd cheers the roof off the TD Waterhouse Centre as Mr. BIG walks down the ramp. He stops halfway and waits with a huge smirk on his face...down walks Rachel Stevens from S Club! The crowd cheers louder as Rachel walks down the ramp and hangs around ringside. Biggie poses on the turnbuckles and steps down to a huge right from Hawke.

TWF Intercontinental Championship
Revenge Match

Mr. BIG (C) w. / Rachel Stevens vs. Hawke w. / Falcon


Hawke nails a huge right on Biggie and then shoves him into a corner. Hawke stomps a mud hole into Biggie, before leaping to the outside. Hawke goes under the ring and grabs a steel chair, a baseball bat and a trash can lid. Biggie grabs the trash can lid and baseball slides it into Hawke's face! Hawke looks dazed as Biggie takes Hawke's head and shoves it into the ring post. Biggie rams his head again! Hawke falls to the ground and Biggie climbs the railings. Double Axe Handle to Hawke! Hawke falls flat onto the floor as Biggie goes under the ring and gets a Table! He sets it up down the aisle and near the ramp. Biggie then goes back under the ring and gets a ladder! The crowd cheers as Biggie pulls out a 15feet long ladder and then goes after Hawke.
Falcon, however, gets around the other side first and Biggie gets a slap for his pleasure! Biggie looks at Falcon and then turns her around. There's Rachel, and she nails Falcon with a huge Superkick! Rachel takes off her other shoe and climbs onto Biggie...and Rachel then kicks Hawke in the face! But Hawke then grabs her leg and begins to tickle Rachel's foot! Rachel falls to the floor in pain and laughter as Biggie launches straight at Hawke and nails him with a clothesline!
Hawke is down once more as Biggie goes back into the ring. He grabs the chair and places it underneath Hawke. Biggie goes for a snap suplex onto the chair...but Hawke reverses and Biggie gets smashed onto the chair! Hawke then grabs the chair and repeatedly nails Biggie with the chair! The crowd boos as Hawke poses with the chair. 1-2-shoulder up by Biggie! Biggie stumbles back up and goes straight into Hawke...The Evenflow? No! Hawke nails The Inverse DDT on the Innovator of the move, Mr. BIG! The crowd boos even louder now as Hawke goes to the outside. He sets out a table and then crabs a trash can lid. Mr. BIG crawls to the outside, and dropkicks Hawke into the ring post! Biggie and Hawke trade punches all the way back up the ramp, and Hawke then returns Biggie's favour and shoves his head into the PayBack stage! Biggie becomes dazed and Hawke grabs Biggie by the throat...Eye of the Hawke! That has gotta be all! 1...2...kick out! The crowd cheers as Hawke looks at the referee in sheer agony as Mr. BIG kicked out once more! Rachel and Falcon are now walking up the ramp...and Falcon has two chairs! Hawke locks a lip-lock on Rachel and Rachel stands dazed...Hawke and Falcon go for the ConChairTo! OH MY GOD! Rachel doesn't duck, but suddenly, Mr. BIG comes in between and takes the chair shot! But Mr. BIG is not effected! Biggie drops to the ground and looks lifeless. Hawke goes for the cover...1...2...Rachel pulls him off! Rachel checks on Biggie and calls for EMTs. EMTs arrive and Hawke looks very pleased. The ref doesn't know what to do, but as the EMTs arrive, it appears Biggie is hurt from the chairshot. But, Biggie stumbles to his feet, and grabs Hawke. Biggie throws a weak punch at Hawke, and Hawke throws a stronger punch back. But, Biggie grabs Hawke and nails him with an Evenflow DDT! The crowd cheers loudly as Biggie just stumbles around, with a bloodied face. Falcon and Rachel at this point at backstage brawling, but Rachel comes back out and Tells Biggie to shift fast. Hawke and Falcon are now double teaming Biggie, but Biggie Gores Falcon and grabs Hawke...BIG STORM OFF THE STAGE THROUGH A TABLE! The crowd goes ape shit as Biggie covers...

Biggie climbs back on stage with the crowd giving a standing ovation. Biggie acknowledges the crowd and simply falls to the floor. He laid there, in a pool of his own blood, with Rachel looking like she would cry. The EMTs place Biggie on a stretcher and he was taken backstage. Hawke and Falcon however limp backstage with huge smiles on their faces.


We go backstage now though as NJS is walking towards the ring. NJS confronts The AshTaker on his way to the ring....
NJS:      "I thought I told you that I didn't wanna see your face again"
Ash:      "Hey I'm in this god damn House of Pain Match too ya know"
NJS:      "It's every man for himself. Although in your case, herself"
Ash:      "Shut up...after tonight, I'm gonna take back what's mine and make you feel like a TRUE DEADMAN!"

Back in the arena, the House of Pain is being lowered around the ring to a massive pop. Bobby and Scott say that they have no idea what the hell is going to happen in this match and say that anything can happen in the TWF, and it usually does!

A video package, showing how this House of Pain came together. It shows highlights of Mr. BIG's vignettes to promote the structure and also shows us all the 4 men announced to take part. Who will walk out on top during this match?!

Joel Gertner announces the rules of the match. The first two men to come out will be those who will start off the match. Every 5 minutes there after, another man will enter until all 6 men have entered. Elimination occurs via Pinfall, Submission or KO. After 2 men have been eliminated, the final 4 will be able to go up to the top cage to fight for the richest price in the TWF...The TWF World Championship Belt. Scott and Bobby mention that NJS, the champion will either come in first or last...
'ShottDown' starts up on the PA and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to The Shott as he enters the House of Pain. He speaks to referee Paul Bowen, who has been nominated to officiate the match. Chief Referee Bob Sage is on the outside with the door.
The second man to enter is...Triple J! JJJ is the first of 2 surprise combatants tonight!

TWF World Championship
House of Pain Match

NJS (C) vs. The AshTaker vs. Frekishi vs. The Shott vs. Triple J vs. ???


The Shott and Triple J stand around as Paul Bowen encourages the men to begin the match. The Shott looks around him and goes to the outside and checks the cage. He then stares up at the second cage above him, containing Barbed Wire, 2 ladders, 2 tables and 2 chairs. Triple J wastes no time and baseball slides The Shott into the cage. JJJ shoves The Shott against the cage. But The Shott then reverses and JJJ is the one being nailed on by the cage. The Shott and JJJ take the fight to the other side of the cage, where the cage door is. Bob Sage encourages both men to take the fight into the centre of the ring. The two men just keep on nailing each other and ignore Sage's request. JJJ gains an advantage and grabs a chair from under the ring. He repeatedly nails The Shott with it and Shottie just falls to the floor.
A clock appears in the bottom right of the screen and counts down...
10-9-8-7-6-5...4...3...2...1...0!
IT'S FREKISHI!
The Fhat Man makes his way down to the ring slowly and looks straight up to the top cage. He is then shoved into the cage by Bob Sage who seems a bit pushy tonight. Sage shuts the cage door and tells Frekishi to fight. Bowen goes over and consulates with Sage as the 3 men continue to pummel on each other. Frekishi and The Shott are repeatedly nailing Triple J with huge punches and throw him straight into the ropes. But Triple J comes back and nails both men with a Rock-like Forearm Smash! Triple J throws The Shott out of the ring and picks up Frekishi. Frekishi is then thrown straight into the ropes, but he reverses and Triple J is now tangled up in the ropes! But Chief Referee Bob Sage is holding Triple J's leg in place! The crowd boos viciously as Sage and Frekishi double team Triple J! But here comes trouble! Down comes TWF Chairman Terry Funk! He is making his first appearance since Halloween Hell! He grabs Sage and nails him with a DDT onto the mat! The crowd cheers as another referee, this time Keith Jones is making his way down to the ring. Funk then takes Sage to the backstage area and appears to be giving him a verbal bashing!
The clock re-appears in the bottom of the screen....
10-9-8-7-6-5...4...3...2...1...0!
IT'S HIGH VOLTAGE!
The arena darkens and the lightning bolt hits the stage and explodes as 'High Voltage' by Linkin Park hits. The crowd stands up and cheers as HV walks over to both sides of the stage and poses for the crowd. he walks calmly down the ramp with people chanting 'Voltage! Voltage!' He stares at the cage and glances up at the red TWF World Championship Belt hanging at the top of the second cage. He then runs straight inside the cage and smashes Frekishi with a HUGE Clothesline. Frekishi gets back up and walks into another Clothesline! Frekishi gets back up one more time but High Voltage nails him with 'The One and Only' - Billy Gunn's finisher! The crowd is now cheering like mad as HV runs over to The Shott and nails him with some strong rights. HV whips Shottie into the ropes and looks for a back body drop. But, Shottie nails HV with a huge kick to the head and HV falls down. The crowd boos as The Shott goes to the outside and sets up a table. However, he is attacked by Triple J! High Voltage is now also on the outside and grabs a chair and throws it into the ring. HV grabs the chair and baseball slides it into The Shott's face! Triple J then places The Shott onto a table and goes up top...AND SPLASHES SHOTT THROUGH A TABLE! The crowd is cheering loudly and sections of the crowd are chanting 'Holy Shit!'. High Voltage is standing in the ring when suddenly, Frekishi enters and nails him with a shot to the back of the head. HV falls out of the ring and on the outside as the clock starts up again...
10-9-8-7-6-5...4...3...2...1...0!
IT'S THE AshTaker!
The arena blackout as The AshTaker's symbol lowers above the TitanTron. BANG! The symbol erupts into flames and The AshTaker makes his entrance into the arena he stands at the top of the ramp, drops his Edge-style coat and runs straight into the cage. Keith Jones locks the cage door once more and The AshTaker and Frekishi double team High Voltage. The Shott then gets back up and it's 3-on-1 onto the big man. Triple J stumbles back up and all five men are in the ring. But, HV and JJJ are being over-powered and it's made even worse when Hawke walks down the ramp and looks at the cage. He walks down and stands outside the cage and loves what he sees. Hawke shoves Keith Jones out of the way and enters the cage. Hawke then double teams HV with Frekishi.
The clock starts back up....
10-9-8-7-6-5...4...3...2...1...0!
DOWN COMES NJS!
NJS, the final combatant doesn't waste anytime as he runs down to the ring and enters the cage. Keith Jones then locks the cage door and all 6 men, plus Hawke are in the cage! NJS helps HV and gets rid of Hawke, chucking him out of the ring. Frekishi is given a Hard Scoop Slam and NJS climbs up top... DROP THE BOMBSHELL! Hawke is the taken out of the cage by Keith Jones and NJS nails a Lionsault on Frekishi...1-2-3!
[Frekishi has been eliminated!]
Frekishi then rolls out of the ring and leaves the cage quickly and calmly. NJS then sets up a ladder in the middle of the ring and then goes under the ring...BOLT CUTTERS! NJS gets the bolt cutters and climbs the ladder...and he busts the second part of the cage open! NJS then climbs up to the second half of the cage and The AshTaker follows him up. Triple J, High Voltage and The Shott are still down the bottom part of the cage however. High Voltage quickly joins both The AshTaker and NJS on the top cage and brings a set of bolt cutters with him! HV gets to the top cage and and nails AshTaker with the bolt-cutters and and nails him with Full Up! 1-2-3!
[The AshTaker has been eliminated]
But, HV isn't done! He uses the bolt cutters and opens up a side of the second cage. He grabs AshTaker by the throat and shouts 'YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!'...AND CHOKESLAM'S HIM OFF THE SECOND CAGE...THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! OH MY GOD! And crowd goes ape shit as The AshTaker is lifeless by the announce table. The loudest 'Holy Shit!' chant you will ever hear starts up and EMTs storm down to ringside. Triple J and The Shott are still duelling on the bottom cage and The Shott nails Triple J with a Pedigree onto a chair! The Shott then climbs the ladder to the second cage and tries to stop NJS reaching the belt...
BUT HE FAILS! NJS grabs the belt and falls to the bottom of the second cage.

Winner: NJS

NJS is simply laying on the bottom of the cage as Triple J falls back off the ladder to the canvas. NJS crawls to where HV is standing and the two men hug as NJS is hoisted High on HV's Shoulders and poses with the World Title Belt.
The two men pose as an explosive PayBack draws to a close.
