TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
February 12th 2003
Broadlands Centre, Broadlands, Bridgend

The show began with a short introductory package reviewing the highlights of last weeks events in the TWF.
'Heavy' hit the PA and the crowd cheered. The Broadlands Centre was at reduced capacity tonight due to a concert to be held there in a few days for charity.

'Bodies' hit the PA and the bPa walked down to the ring. Hawke, Rhys Evans, Frekishi, Falcon, Rachel, Karl Davies, both the Sarahs and Rachael all made themselves known here tonight.
Hawke took the microphone first and said that last week was a crap week for him and the bPa. He was pissed off that he was screwed out of his TWF World Championship match on Friday, and to make matters worse, AJ Jeffers gained on him to become IC Champion. Hawke then reminded us that was last week and this week he will make sure everyone knows he is the man. So tonight, he is giving us the main event of NJS vs. Frekishi! The crowd booed but yet cheered at the thought of the TWF's Number 1 Superstar appearing tonight.
Hawke was in the middle of his next sentence when...
'JUST THINK ABOUT IT!'
BAM!
'Prayer' hit the PA and Mr. BIG walked out to masses of 'Biggie' chants and deafening cheers. Biggie said it was good to be home in Broadlands and says that he is out here to announce a few things. First of all, it is Avril Lavigne that will be performing a set of songs on Raw this week. Second of all, Hawke and Falcon will be taking on NJS and Lita in the boyfriend/girlfriend vs. boyfriend/girlfriend match and Mr. BIG will be taking on Frekishi in a match of Frekishi's choosing! As far as tonight goes he said, the TWF is on a roll and he is gonna make sure it stays that way! Mr. BIG will return to in-ring action...TONIGHT! The crowd goes absolutely BONKERS! Mr. BIG will be facing...The Yoga Kid in a Revenge Match! Who Betta?! 'Prayer' hits and Biggie walks backstage with a huge beaming grin spread wide across his face.

Backstage, High Voltage is seen arriving with Bandit! HV asks Bandit for the way to Chairman's Office?! They both follow the signs as we cut to a commercial!

After the commercials for Deadly MindGames, TWF Shopzone and PlayStation 2, we go back to High Voltage and Bandit to walk into the Chairman's Office. They walk in and there's a flash...and sitting in the chair is Mr. Edwards! The crowd cheers as Bandit asks where Terry Funk went. Funkster went back to America and now Mr. Edwards is back and he's back with a vengeance!

The first match tonight saw another qualifier in the TWF TV Championship Tourney. It saw Luke Baird take on his Tag-Team Partner Todd McFarlene! The crowd cheered as this match was announced and Toddie scored a commanding victory over his tag-team partner, using the FameAsSer to score the victory.

The second match followed straight after and it was JCVS taking on Thomas Rich! JCVS nailed the Lionsault to score a victory where he will face RWF's Ripper in the next round, beginning next week on Grit BasH!

Backstage, Hawke is in the bPa dressing room where is motivating his bPa Stable-Mates.

We stay backstage and Lita is standing by with 'The Yoga Kid' Rhys Evans. He says that Biggie will realise tonight that Yoga is the only way forward and peace is going to thrust upon him!

After the break, the lights went out and Mr. BIG's entrance started up to one of the biggest pops in a very long time. Rhys Evans' music hit and he was jeered down to the ring. The match was a highly entertaining affair, with Mr. BIG debuting a few new moves, such as the 'Scoop Reverse DDT', the 'Running DDT' and hit his old finisher 'The Firebreather'! The Yoga Kid also hit his trademark moves, but Biggie countered the Yoga Kick and nailed The BIG Storm and the packed house in Broadlands went nuts! 1-2-3! Biggie wins his first match back after injury!

NJS is seen walking backstage with his girlfriend/valet/manager Lita towards the ring for his match with Frekishi next!

[The Passion Commercial was aired in two. Mr. BIG's first played to Creed's My Sacrifice, and the second was the second Generic TWF One, played to the BG Music in the WWF Survivor Series 2001 WWE Desire Advert (it's on the DVD)]

The main event was the highly anticipated affair between NJS and Frekishi. The match was a long one, but by no means boring. Towards the end of the match, Lita was being assaulted by Rachel and Frekishi used this to his advantage and nailed the Sit-Out Powerbomb! 1-2-3! The rest of tHe bPa walked down and pummelled on NJS, until High Voltage, Bandit and Mr. BIG came down with Chairs, Lead Pipes and Baseball Bats (respectively)! They cleared the ring and stood tall, but with tHe bPa smirking on the ramp as the show went off air.
