WWE confirmed on their official website today that the June pay per view will now be called Bad Blood, instead of King of the Ring as the event has been known to be for years. The name change comes as part of the brand split, with the plans of having separate RAW and SmackDown pay per views, with four joint pay per views a year. The June pay per view now known as Bad Blood will be the first ever brand only pay per view in company history and will feature wrestlers of the RAW brand.

On a personal note, I think this means a Hell in a Cell match will take place at that PPV (remember what happened the last time there was a WWE PPV called Bad Blood)...I also have a feeling that someone will have a serious injury that night (Brian Pillman was announced dead that night, and HBK's back problem first kicked in at Bad Blood 97).
