TWF Grit BasH
April 23rd 2003
GCourt Green, Brackla, Bridgend

A highlights package from Easter HeAT on Sunday Night is shown.

'Heavy' hits the PA and the crowd cheers loudly as the pyros go off. This is the TWF's first outdoor event of the year, and it comes to you live from GCourt Green in Brackla! Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside and tonight, we will hear from Bandit and his victory last night, and in our main event, Mr. BIG, NJS and Bandit take on Marz, Steven Dimmock and Frekishi in a 6-Man Tag-Team Match!

The VT Footage of the helicopter flying over Chicago starts up on the JumboTron and Bandit walks out to a huge pop. He has the TWF World Championship on his right shoulder and stops in the middle of the ramp. He poses with the title like The Rock does on the turnbuckles. Some pyros go off behind him and he walks down to the ring. He grabs a microphone off Rachel Stevens, who is the new ring announcer in Joel Gertner's place! Bandit gets on the microphone and shouts..."FINALLY...I DID IT! I WON THE TWF WORLD TITLE!" The crowd cheers and he says that he is now a 7-time World Champion! Bandit says that after 2 years of walking around acting like a prick with no title, he's back and he's back with Vengeance. Tonight, is Bandit Appreciation Night!
'Game Re-Started...Initating Re-Start Sequence'. 'The Game' starts up and Marz walks out on stage to a mass of boos from the TWF Crowd here in GCourt. Marz says that he congratulates Bandit on joining the elite club of being a TWF World Champion. But Marz says that his win was nothing last night. The main news everyone was talking about was the fact that Marz, the great; is back in the TWF. Why is he back? Because he has something to prove. Since he's been away, sitting on his ass in rehab, people have said that Marz will never be as good as he was. They've all been saying that Mr. BIG...NJS...even Hawke is better than Marz now. Marz says he has come back to prove all of the bullshitters wrong...including this crowd of cut-throats. The crowd boos as Marz says he is out here to make a challenge to Bandit. Marz says he wants to take what is rightfully his back...the TWF World Championship! Bandit says that if Marz thinks he's good enough, he says that at Cyberslam in 3 weeks, Marz can have his shot. But Bandit spoke to Mr. BIG, his friend and TWF CEO and Mr. BIG said that at Cyberslam, Marz can have his shot against Frekishi, High Voltage and Bandit in a Fatal-Four Way match for the TWF World Championship! And that's because Mr. B-I-G said so!
'Somewhere I Belong' hit the PA and Bandit walked out of the ring and backstage. Marz is still in complete shock!

Backstage, Mr. BIG is standing by with Michael King. Michael King asks Biggie about his match on Sunday at Easter HeAT. Biggie says that, Finally, The BIG Storm has hit...Brackla's Great Outdoors! Biggie says that on Sunday, he felt prouder than he ever has. He felt prouder than when he stood in-front of the screen at Summer Break last year...proder than when he BIG Stormed AshTaker off the top of the cell. Why? Because he's shut Steven Dimmock and his Red Hoodie Crew lackeys up. Biggie also says that regardless of whether he drew enough blood to give someone a transplant, he is still standing tall and he is still The Only One! WHO BETTA 'DAN B-I-G?!

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles tell us that tonight we are going to see a Unification Match! The European and TV Championships are going to be unified here tonight in a Ladder Match! Blade vs. Jean Claude Van Slam!

Deadman's music hits the PA and the crowd gives him a mixed reaction as he walks out. We go back to his victory at Easter HeAT for a moment and Scott and Joey tells is that they think it was one of the best matches of the night.
Sumo Samurai's music hits, and the Sumo walks out in his wrestling gear! The Sumo is making his first wrestling appearance in just under a year tonight! Deadman did well against the weight advantage and nailed Sumo with a huge Superkick to get him down. But Brownie came running down to save his mentor and Deadman won via DQ. The two staged a beat-down of Deadman until Blonde Man came running down to the ring! He cleared the ring of Brownie and Sumo and posed on the turnbuckles and shook Deadman's hand before leaving the ring.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles remind us that if you missed TWF Easter HeAT, you can watch it straight after this program on the xWa Network...for free! And speaking of being free, xWa Xtreme Overdose comes to you live on May 25th from The Broadlands Centre. The main event has been announced and it's a Triple Main Event. NJS will take on an un-named opponent, Mr. BIG will take on Frekishi for the XCW Championship and Bandit will take on Hawke for the TWF Championship.

'What About Hawke?' starts up on the PA and Hawke makes his way down to the ring. He is accompanied by Falcon again tonight. He gets in the ring and takes a microphone from Ms. Stevens. Hawke says that last night he and NJS took part in one of the most brutal matches in the history of the TWF. And his reward...a TWF World Title Shot at Xtreme Overdose. Hawke says he will finally get his hands on the thing that's alluded him the most over the last 3 years.
But Hawke is then interrupted by High Voltage's music hitting the PA! HV runs down to the ring and nails Hawke with a huge clothesline! The match was underway and HV and Hawke brawled all over ringside before getting back in the ring. HV nailed The F-5 on Hawke but then climbed up top and nailed a Money Shot-like Splash from the top-rope for the 1-2-3! HV walked backstage with a huge smile on his face.

Backstage, Blade is walking down towards the ring for his TV-European Championship unification match!

'Never Gonna Stop' hits the PA and Blade walks out and down to the ring. This is a Ladder Match to unify the Television and European Championships.
'One of a Kind' by Breaking Point starts up and Jean Claude Van Slam walks out to huge cheers. This match was a typical ladder match, with the ladders used to full effect by both men to punish each other to the maximum. JCVS was thrown to the outside and went through the Announce Table and Blade scored a victory but retaining the belt. Blade, in a sporting gesture, shook hands with JCVS and they walked to the back talking about the match.

Backstage, The Red Hoodie Crew are sitting in some executive black chairs in some 'Mobile' (aka Portakabin). It's Mr. Edwards' office! The Red Hoodie Crew have complained that Mr. BIG was unfair in what happened on Sunday at Easter HeAT. Mr. Edwards says that the Hoodie Crew, and specifically Dimmock can have their re-match at Cyberslam! The Red Hoodie Crew smiles, but then Mr. BIG and Holly enter the cabin to cheers. Mr. Edwards says that he has summoned Biggie here to tell him that he will face Dimmock in a match at Cyberslam. But Mr. Edwards says that it's not going to be a singles match. Far from it. It's going to be Mr. BIG vs. Steven Dimmock in a tlC Match...TABLES...LADDERS...CELL! The crowd erupts and Biggie nods and smiles. Dimmock looks like he has shat his pants. Biggie looks at Dimmock and says that Mr. BIG is going to hell again...and he's taking Dimmock with him. It's time to play The Game! Biggie and Holly walk off, ready for their match later on.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are also in total shock and tell us that already tonight we have two matches confirmed for Cyberslam! And this is right after Easter HeAT!

'Just Think About It'...BANG! 'Prayer' starts up to huge cheers and Mr. BIG appears on the ramp. He waits and Holly joins him. The two walk down to the ring and Biggie poses on the turnbuckles.
NJS's video starts up...BANG! 'Bring Me Down' hits and the crowd cheers as the xWa Champion and his girlfriend Lita walk down to the ring to huge cheers. They are facing Ryan Jenkins and Rhys Hopkins of The Red Hoodie Crew tonight!
'Always' by Saliva blares out of the PA and the crowd of 30,000 boos loudly as the Red Hoodie Crew walk down to the ring. Hopkins and Jenkins stand on the ring apron and await something...the rest of the Red Hoodie Crew follow them down to the ring!
Biggie and NJS dominate the match, but it comes to end when the Red Hoodie Crew assault NJS on the outside and Mr. BIG gets nailed with a Double DDT. Hopkins covers and the crowd boos as he gets the 1-2-3. NJS is still getting beaten down when High Voltage and The Bandit come running down for the save. However not even they can even up the score. But some hard fighting from Mr. BIG and NJS makes sure the Red Hoodie Crew do not leave with their heads held high.

[TWF Returns!]

The VT Footage of a Helicopter flying over Chicago starts up to huge cheers and Bandit walks down to the ring. He is taking on Frekishi and Marz in a Triple Threat Match in tonight's Main Event.
'Fhat Man' hits and Frekishi walks down to the ring to huge boos.
'The Game' by Motörhead hits and fans clearly chant 'Marz Sucks' as Marz walks down to the ring. Marz looks into the crowd and sees a sign saying 'Marz pees sitting down' which pisses him off. A cameraman manages to pick out a picture of Marz dressed up as a Mars bar from the crowd as well.
The match was controversial in areas, but overall very good. Bandit nailed The Bandit Bomb on Marz and scored a huge victory. But Frekishi attacked Bandit after the match nailing him with The Sit-Out Powerbomb. The former TWF Champion hoists the belt high in the air before throwing it down at Bandit as the show goes off air.
