xWa Xtreme Overdose 2003
July 29th 2003
The Broadlands Centre, Broadlands, Bridgend

The opening package consisted of footage from the xWa's Formation, and highlights of the past few weeks and the matches that will take place tonight.

'Anchor' by Cave In blasted out of the PA and the 40,000 inside the Broadlands Centre cheered loudly as the fireworks and pyros went off. Scott Hudson and Paul Heyman sat at ringside representing the TWF, whilst Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler sat in their WWE RAW position representing XCW. JR and King reminded us of tonight's main event, before handing over to Scott and Paul, who told us of the opening contest!

'Fhat Man' started up and the crowd gave a mixed reaction. Frekishi walked down to the ring for his match with Marz. These two are not exactly the best of friends and perhaps this old feud can be settled her tonight at Xtreme Overdose!
'Game Started...Starting Game Sequence...' 'The Game' hits and the crowd viciously boos NCW Chairman Marz down to the ring. Scott Hudson explains that this week Marz and The Shott renewed their old rivalry on NCW TV to pull in the ratings. It was the lowest drawing wrestling show since the NCW's Début in 2001. Many fans are holding up signs saying 'Marz will job to nobody' and 'Shottle = NCW Champ, Marz = NCW Chump'.
This match was a brutal affair, with Frekishi dominating the far smaller Marz. Marz attempted an F-5 on Frekishi, but he failed miserably, with Frekishi nailing him with a huge Sit-Out Powerbomb to cheers. The Shott however, came running down and nailed Frekishi with a right hand, giving Frekishi a DQ win! Shott realises his mistake and grabs Marz by the throat! Frekishi comes along and Marz is double chokeslammed to the canvas! The Shott raises Frekishi's hand to huge cheers and the two men walk backstage laughing and smiling.

Backstage, Big Bob Daddy is with Michael King. BBB is asked on his pre-match thoughts going into his match with The Assassin in a few moments. BBB calls The Assassin a chump and says that he couldn't even beat up one member of the Red Hoodie Crew. BBB says he could have squashed those peanuts in 30 seconds! BBB walks down the hall towards the ring area.

Scott and Paul at ringside announce that they will commentate this match, whilst JR and the King will commentate on the xWa Championship Match. Big Bob Daddy walks out onto the stage and gets a mass of boos from the crowd. BBB gets into the ring rather quickly and awaits the arrival of his opponent.
'Bold Muthafucker, Don't You Liberate Your Mind?'...BANG! The Assassin's old theme of 'Liberate' by Disturbed blasted out of the PA to huge cheers. The Assassin walks out on stage to even bigger cheers. He runs down the ramp and straight at BBB and the match begins.
The two men battled all over ringside and into the crowds in a great match, which has the done the RWF no damage in their reputation. The Assassin managed hit Big Bob Daddy with The Assassinator and then The Assassin's Elbow for the 1-2-3.  After the match, TWF Commissioner and The Assassin's RWF Rival High Voltage appeared on the stage and the two men talked trash to each other before HV walked to the back.

Backstage, Mr. Edwards and his Seek and Destroy Faction are discussing tonight's Total Wrestling Federation World Championship Match between Hawke and The Bandit. Mr. Edwards also announces that tonight's match will see the title change hands on a DQ decision! High Voltage overhears the conversation and enters the room. He declares that Seek and Destroy are barred from ringside and says that if anyone does bother to interfere, they're ass will be fired on the spot, by the xWa! HV leaves the room and Seek and Destroy have an 'Oh Shit' look on their faces.

-- xWa Xtreme Intentions Commercial --

Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler announce that on Saturday October 11th 2003, the xWa will hold it's second ever event called 'Xtreme Intentions'. And get this folks...it's being held in The Bridgend Dome! It will, however be at a reduced capacity of 90,000 people, but tickets will go on sale after TWF Summer Break 2003. What an event it will be!

The Double J's music hits and the crowd boos as they walk down to the ring. They are in a 4-Team xWa Championship Match right here...right now!
But suddenly, 'Voodoo Child' by Jimi Hendrix hits and the crowd erupts as Hulk Hogan and his nephew Horace walk over to JR and The King. They will be doing some guest commentary on this match.
The Danger Broz' music plays and the crowd boos them as well. The team walks down to the ring and enters it, standing side-by-side with Jo and Johnny.
BANG! 'Try Us' hits and the crowd cheers as JCVS and The Vamp, The TWF Cruiserweight and Hardcore Champions respectively walk down to the ring. JR and The King mention that The Dreem Teem have tasted TWF Tag-Team Gold, which means they know what immortalising as Tag-Team Champions feels like.
The Fox and The Rich then walk out on stage and the match begins.
This match was fast-paced and exciting from start to end, keeping the crowd on their feet chanting and cheering. Jo nailed The Vamp with a huge Dropkick, but JCVS nailed Jo with a Karate Kick from the top rope! The crowd boos as Johnny illegally rolls up Vamp...1-2-3! The Danger Broz have stolen the match from under noses of The Dreem Teem! The crowd boos, but JCVS and The Vamp nail Jo and Johnny with Dropkicks each before leaving. The Fox, The Rich and The Danger Broz have taken their brawl backstage! The Hogans pick their spot and walk down to the ring and Hulk nails Jo with a Leg Drop! The crowd cheers as the Hogans pose on the turnbuckles to the music of 'Voodoo Child'.

Backstage, we are in the Z-Pack Locker Room. NJS, The Bandit and Mr. BIG all have Championship Matches here tonight. They are all looking forward to them, when Karl Davies and Holly walk in. Karl says he has seen NJS's Interview in July's xWa Magazine. He says that he's pissed off at him for saying a few things in there, and Davies also says that he has unfinished business with Mr. BIG. Tonight, the very first night the xWa comes together as a team and part of the xWa will disintegrate tonight!

We are then introduced to a video package of NJS, Mr. BIG and High Voltage visiting some local primary schools to promote safety as part of a new incentive. NJS and Biggie are both pleased to be a part of an incentive to get children to be safer when they go out to play. Footage is shown of one child asking to see the XCW and xWa Championship belts. They kids then each have their photo taken with Biggie, NJS and the belts. Later that day, NJS, Biggie, HV and The Bandit visit The Ramptastic Skate Park adjacent to the Bridgend Recreation Centre. A contest ensues as to who can pull the best trick on the vert ramp. Biggie says he can't skateboard but says he'll try and kickflip. Biggie nails to trick, but bails. NJS nails a Double heelflip to huge props, before Biggie says he can go better and nail a One Foot Japan. Biggie again nails that move but bails. HV and The Bandit then duel it out on the street course and a draw is held there. The 4 superstars donate a signed skateboard and a signed T-shirt to the centre, which has reduced youth crime rates in the Bridgend area when it's open since it's opening in 2001.

In the arena, 'My Time' hits and the crowd cheers. The figure of Triple J fills the entrance way as he walks down to the ring. He does not know who his opponent in tonight's TWF IC Championship match is!
The arena waits in silence before 'Stupify' by Disturbed hits. Out walks Disturbed Gregg Allen! He used to be in the XWF! The crowd gives him a mixed reaction as he sprints down to the ring and nails Triple J!
This match was a real slobber-knocker, with the advantage tipping back and fourth all of the way. DGA went for The Stupifier, but failed and Triple J nailed him with The Osaka Street Cutter! 1-2-3! The two wrestlers shook hands before Triple J left the ring. DGA posed on the turnbuckles in celebration of his first xWa Appearance.

-- XCW Control Commercial --

JR and The King then announce that the first of 3 Promotional Championships will be decided momentarily, when Mr. BIG takes on The Irish Warrior for the XCW Championship!

-- Video Package --

The Irish National Anthem plays as The Irish Warrior, with his tag-team partner, The Celtic Warrior walk down to the ring. The Irish Warrior gets on the microphone and speaks in Gaelic for a moment, before The Celtic Warrior says it would be his pleasure to beat The Irish Warrior for the XCW Championship at Control next week.
Their suck-fest ends when the arena darkens and the words 'Just Think About It' appear on the screen as they echo through out of the Broadlands Centre. BANG! 'The Game' by Trapt plays and the crowd cheers loudly as Mr. BIG walks down the ramp, with the XCW World Championship on his shoulder. He stops in the middle of the ramp and points toward the entrance like Scott Hall would and suddenly High Voltage walks out! HV taps Biggie on the back and Biggie charges at the ring.
This match was unbelievable. The crowd was on it's feet all of the way through, and the match went all over ringside. The Celtic Warrior gave his Irish compadre a chair and was about to use it on Mr. BIG when HV intervened and nailed The Celtic Warrior. Biggie punched the chair, which broke and nailed The Irish Warrior with The BIG Storm! 1-2-3! The Ultimate Warriors leave the ring quickly and talk some trash at Mr. BIG and HV in the ring. HV is about to leave when Biggie asks the crowd if they wanna see him and HV share some Cherry Cokes. The crowd reply 'B-I-G' and the two friends down their beverages in the ring, celebrating victory here tonight.

Backstage, Mr. Edwards is seen walking down the hallway to the ring!

-- TWF Total Chaos Commercial --

Scott Hudson and Paul Heyman are about to announce the TWF Championship Match, when '21 Questions' by 50-Cent blasts out of PA to huge boos and down walks the man with the dodgiest sideburns in the xWa, Mr. Edwards. He appears to be pissed off standing in the ring and takes a microphone from ring announcer Rachel Stevens. Mr. Edwards says that so far, this xWa event has been a miserable failure. All of his TWF Superstars have disappointed him and it appears that this next match, the TWF's Main Event, will suck. Mr. Edwards then goes on to say that if the TWF doesn't perform, he will pull them out of the next xWa Event. Edwards turns to leave when the XCW Theme Music blasts out of the PA! Mr. Job-Smith, the owner of XCW struts down to the ring to a huge set of cheers. Mr. Job-Smith contests Mr. Edwards' claim that the TWF was rubbish. He feels that the event has overall been a huge success, and we still have a couple of matches left. Mr. Edwards asks Mr. Job-Smith if he wants to have a board meeting in public, to which Mr. JS says no. Edwards sucker punches Job-Smith, but the lightning bolt hits the stage to a mass of cheers! 'High Voltage' by Linkin Park hits and High Voltage, the RWF Owner and TWF Commissioner. HV walks down to the ring and says for this stupid argument to end. It's turning into this 'Mitchell vs. Weasels' crap, he quotes. HV is obviously pissed and says that he thinks the crowd are enjoying themselves and he doesn't valuable match time wasted. So HV nails Mr. Edwards in the gut and smashes him with 'Full Up'! The crowd cheers profoundly as HV raises Mr. Job-Smith's Hand.

-- xWa Don't Try This At Home Commercial --

'What About Hawke?' hits to huge boos and Hawke walks down to the ring with his Seek and Destroy Stablemates to a mass of vicious boos. The next contest is the TWF World Championship Match, where the championship can change hands on a Disqualification Decision!
The VT Footage plays of a helicopter flying over Chicago to huge cheers. 'Headstrong' by Trapt plays over the PA to huge cheers as TWF Champion The Bandit walks down to the ring. He hoists the TWF Belt in the air and pyros go off behind him. The decision of this match is down to the referee, and that referee is Mr. Edwards's buddy Cyril Sage!
This match was the most controversial in the TWF's history by far. As much as it was brutal, Hawke had a distinct advantage over Bandit. Hawke nailed Cyril Sage with a chair, but Bandit grabbed the chair and nailed Hawke with it. Cyril Sage had seen Bandit holding a chair...AND CALLED FOR THE BELL! The crowd booed like no tomorrow when the winner was announced as being HAWKE! Hawke celebrated and Cyril Sage rolls out of the ring. Bandit looks pissed and has a tear in his eye. He has been screwed out of the TWF World Championship by Hawke and Seek and Destroy. The crowd is left in sheer and utter shock!

Jim Ross and Jerry 'The King' Lawler introduce a video package for the main event, the xWa Championship Match between NJS and The Celtic Warrior!

-- Video Package --
[BG Music - 'Anchor' by Cave In]

Some Bagpipe Music plays, and The Celtic Warrior walks down to the ring to a mass of boos. His tag team partner The Irish Warrior was unsuccessful in his XCW Championship defence earlier, so let's see if he can become xWa Champion!
The Y2J-ohmmeter begins to countdown...05-04-03-02-01...00...BANG! 'Bring Me Down' by Puddle of Mudd plays to a mass of cheers as the crowd sings a long. NJS and his girlfriend Lita walk out onto the ramp to huge cheers in this, the main event of xWa Xtreme Overdose!
This match thoroughly deserved it's main event billing. It was a spectacular match from start to finish, and the performers such be credited for it. The Celtic Warrior nailed NJS with a Chokeslam, and covered. Lita distracted the referee, Kevin Poole and The Irish Warrior went to attack Lita. But Lita managed to hit The Irish Warrior with a Lita-currana from the ring apron! The Celtic Warrior was pissed, and he turned around into the N-Factor! NJS followed up with The Lionsault! 1-2-3!
'Bring Me Down' hits and the crowd cheers as NJS poses with his championship belt. He stands in the middle of the ring, back facing the XtremeVision Video Screen and pyros go off behind him. The Celtic and Irish Warriors have regrouped and exited to the backstage area. NJS and Lita kiss as the pyros continue to go off.

A WrestleMania-style re-cap is shown, before going back to the arena with NJS and Lita hoisting the xWa Championship in the air as the very first xWa Event draws to a close.
