The usual fireworks display and pyros went off to start the show. Scott Hudson and Paul Heyman are at ringside tonight, with Bobby Heenan back for RAW on Friday. They announce that tonight's main event will be NJS vs. The Shott in an xWa Championship rematch from Summer Break.

The opening match was a KOTR Qualifier between Sumo Samurai and Blade. Blade won a hard-fought victory using the Blazer, where he will face the winner of the Blonde Man/The Fox match later tonight.

Backstage, Mr. Edwards is with Seek And Destroy, and tells them they must recover from their losses at King of the Ring. Edwards knows that Karl Davies is not here due to family issues tonight, and he is barred from board meetings for 30 days, so Seek And Destroy must live up to their name tonight.

High Voltage comes out to the ring and cuts a promo about his victory at Summer Break against Mr. Edwards and also announces the main event for King of the Ring: The Bandit vs. Deadman vs. The AshTaker in a Triple Threat Match for the TWF World Championship!
Mr. Edwards interrupts and says that he informs them that he has also placed Hawke in the match. High Voltage then tells Mr. Edwards that The Shott and Ottobomb have also been included!

The second KOTR qualifier between Blonde Man and the Fox was next.  The Fox got a shock victory and will advance to face Blade in the Semi-Finals next week on G BasH.

Mr. BIG was backstage, where Holly was getting a cup of water from the beverages table. Biggie bumps into her and spills the water over her. He apologises and tries to clean it up, but Holly is having none of it and slaps Biggie. He doesn't seem bothered and says that he is sorry once more. Holly buys it this time and they hug and make up. Mr. Edwards sees this and puts Biggie in a match against Hawke and Frekishi later tonight!

Scott Hudson announces that Mr. Smooth will have NJS as his guest on 'Sit Down With A Superstar' this week.

Mr. BIG fought Hawke and Frekishi in a Handicap Match, as booked by Mr. Edwards. Biggie was pinned by Frekishi and Holly came down to the ring to tend to Biggie, with Hawke and Frekishi left wondering where Holly's loyalty's lie.

NJS took on The Shott in the re-match from Summer Break in the Main Event. Another stellar match followed, but MARZ ran in and caused a DQ. Marz was then removed by security as the show ended.
