This is a little different to New Year's Resolutions...this is the stuff that you predict will happen in 2004...(I can't say I want any of these to happen, but they are just predictions)

International
-- The Madden Curse will continue...(the player on the cover of the Madden games will either be injured or have an awful season)
-- North Korea will provoke the USA and the USA will force UN Sanctions on N. Korea.
-- A major celebrity, looking for publicity, will pose for Playboy. (ie Britney, Christina, Rachel Stevens)
-- WrestleMania XX will either help the WWE become more popular or it will flop like a fish.
-- Friends final season will get the highest ratings in US History, and Joey's first season will flop, but they'll bring it back for a second, re-unite him with a former Friend it will be a huge success.
-- The ITV Merger will go through, but the Competitions Commission open up the ITV franchises. Thames buy back the London Franchise, along with LWT. HTV is also brought back. Granada and Carlton still have majority control though.
-- Digital TV will draw bigger ratings than terrestrial TV for the first time in history.
-- Windows XP Longhorn will have a huge virus-hole in it and it too will flop like a fish because of it. The hackers will run amok and around August, Bill Gates will be forced to give money to all the companies who's systems who have been wrecked by the new virus.
-- KaZaA and music downloaders will win the fight vs. the record industry. The Record Industry will then buy out KaZaA, WinMX, Morpheus & Madster and shut them down. But KaZaA will arise from the dead and offer they same service it always has.
-- Man Utd will lose 2-1 in Silver Goal in the final of the Champion's League to AC Milan. The goal will come from Flippo Inzaghi. Chelsea will face AC and lose 5-4 on Agg. with a Silver Goal from Andrei Schevkencyo (sp?).
-- Arsenal will sneak the Premiership on the last day...but it will then be overturned because they fielded an illegiable player, and Chelsea will win it instead cause they came second. Man U 3rd, Newcastle 4th. Spurs, Wolves and Aston Villa will be relegated.
-- Cardiff City will get to the Div 1 play-off finals and will lose on Penalties.
-- England will bomb in Euro 2004, and Italy will win it, beating France 2-1, with goals from Inzaghi and Del Piero.
-- Wales will OWN England in the WC '06 qualifiers.
-- Red Wings will win the Stanley Cup, 4-2 vs. Tampa Bay Lightning in the finals, and I'll get tickets to Game 6 when I'm on holiday in June.
-- The CBA arguement will be unresolved once more, and half of the players will retire, leaving it unresolved until December 2004. Pittsburgh, Columbus, Phoenix, Edmonton & Washington will all go out of business.
-- The Winnipeg Jets will come back in some form, be it in the AHL/ECHL/CHL/WHA2/WHA/NHL.
-- If the Jets return to the NHL, the Red Wings will move to the Eastern Conference and own it.
-- Wales will come 3rd in the Six Nations. France will beat England in the last game with a drop goal from the French fly-half and the English public will call for Woodward's head.
-- The Celtic League will flourish in it's second season.

Domestic
-- The TWF will have a make or break year, with a turning point in around June/July. (I just sense it...our good years have happened in years with even numbers...2000, 2002...2004?)
-- My school life will rule for a while, and then when we start back in September in Yr11, I will become Public Enemy #1 (with Fred becoming everyone's darling...makes me sick, but I think it will happen)
-- My band will get off the ground, we have a good gig, which sucks and we then split-up. I'll then join a different band as a bassist, we'll do a couple of gigs and we'll also split it.
-- My search for a girlfriend will end up unsuccessful.
-- I'll be forced to kick Fred's ass at some point in the first 3 months to shut his mouth up. (And, I DID punch him, I didn't try...I DID PUNCH him, no matter what he says, and I have witnesses)
-- Marz will try and kiss everyone's ass and he'll litterally have to do it on one occassion.
-- Holly will continue to be an uber-bitch.
-- NJS and I will patch up any past situations because of other people's desire to split me and my friends up.

I'm surprised at how many I got right!

International Ones I Got Right
