TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
January 14th 2004
The TJS Centre, Brackla, Bridgend

A highlight reel from last week's RAW plays to begin the show.

'Bullet With Your Name' hits and the crowd cheers loudly. The intimate venue, which has so much to do with TWF history, the TJS Centre, is home of Grit BasH tonight! The pyros go off and the fireworks explode and the crowd cheers loudly.

Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan are at ringside and inform us that in light of last week's controversial actions by Jason Davies, a 6-man Tag-Team Match has been set up...Davies, Marz & Rhys Evans vs. Adam Taylor, Stephen Dimmock and Ryan Jenkins! Also announced is that tonight, NJS will be in the house fresh from his romantic weekend in Paris, and Mr. Edwards is also present!

'P.I.M.P.' by 50-Cent hits and the crowd jeers loudly as Mr. Edwards makes his way down to the ring. Mr. Edwards was not present on RAW as he was away on business. Tonight is his first real opportunity to pass comment on the show done in his absence, which got the highest TV rating in TWF TV history.
Mr. Edwards takes the stick and says that last week, he was away in London on a business meeting, ensuring the TWF will survive long-term. However, this week, he is back, and tonight, he is going to strike down with authority on those who seek to defy him. Edwards remarks that even though the TWF scored a rating that would have beaten Coronation Street and Eastenders, he is still not happy with what is happening in the TWF. He is happy, however, that Jason Davies has joined Seek & Destroy. Edwards says that Jason saw the light. He didn't want to feel left behind by the Red Hoodie Crew. Seek & Destroy is also proud to have the TWF Hardkore and TV Champion in one stable, and tonight, Seek And Destroy's expansion will continue. They will extend an invitation to one of the hottest superstars in the TWF today. A man who's matches have got everyone watching...because he is one crazy ass, and no ones knows what he will do next. He is...The Assassin.
'Cemetery Gates' plays and The Assassin walks down to the ring, wearing a Black mask, black leather jacket and his wrestling attire underneath. Mr. Edwards grabs the stick and says that The Assassin has a bright future in the TWF. The Assassin is one of the breakout superstars of the TWF, and he could one day become TWF World Champion. But, he will not become TWF World Champion when he is surrounded by assholes like Silver, BSB and Mr. BIG. The crowd cheers at the mentioning of these names. The Assassin looks at Mr. Edwards and smiles, and Edwards smiles from ear-to-ear assuming that The Assassin will accept the offer. But The Assassin instead kicks Edwards in the gut and hits him with the Assassinator! The crowd cheers as The Assassin leaves, but Mr. Edwards is still smiling as The Assassin looks on angrily at what he just went on.

Backstage, NJS and Lita are romancing in their locker room. High Voltage, The Bandit and TWF World Champion The Shott are watching the TV and witness what has transpired between Mr. Edwards and The Assassin. HV says that The Assassin has made a smart decision in not joining Seek And Destroy. The Bandit questions this. He says that Silver, BSB and Assassin have been acting stranger recently and this may have something to do with it. The Shott says it might have something to do with the fact the 3 men just went public with their stable. All 3 men nod in agreement, and HV just looks over at NJS. HV asks NJS if Paris was romantic enough. HV says that it was awesome, but he wants more. So, he's taking Lita back to the Palace tonight. Bandit asks who's palace...The Queen's or Biggie's? NJS says neither...it's a little place called 'home'. Lita smiles and the two continue to cuddle with The Bandit, HV and The Shott looking on, with looks of oddity.

'Out of My Way' hits and the crowd cheers as Brownie, Steven Jenkins and Blonde Man walk down to the ring with  Hayley Holder. Brownie & Steven are competing in this contest. The crowd's cheers get louder as Hayley does a little jiggle as she walks down to the ring. Scott Hudson informs us that a tournament has been determined to decide the #1 Contenders to the TWF Tag-Team Championships. A second match will be held later as well to determine who will face The AshTaker and Deadman on January 23rd at the Brynteg Arena!
'Bodies' hits and the crowd jeers as Luke & Toddie walk down to the ring with Baird's manager Atomically Kool Kat. The two became united at New Year Partee, which is when Atomically Kool Kat became TWF Women's Champion. Luke & Todd have not turned up in a while, so this will be quite a match.
The early going was dominated by tactical work by both sides, who wore each other down, stage by stage. The end was signalled when AKK entered the ring. She distracted referee Keith Jones, whilst Baird hit the bPA dDT on Steven Jenkins. Brownie was pretty much out, and AKK saw the carnage and raised Baird's arm in the air...and hit him with The Feliner! She left the ring with an evil smile on her face as Brownie used all his strength to hit the Money Shot on Baird...1-2-3!
'Out of My Way' hits once more, this time in victory and the crowd cheers as AKK watches in the middle of the aisle. Team EV celebrate this victory and will advance to Friday's finals vs. the winners of match #2 later on tonight. AKK walks behind the curtain, only to be thrown back out by Libra, her former tag-team partner. Libra throws AKK down and says that it's time they settle the score.

[TWF Returns!]

Backstage, Michael King knocks on Mr. Edwards' door. He enters and a party is in full swing. Banners say "Welcome Back Frekishi". King manages to find Edwards in the mist of all the ladies and asks him about Frekishi. Edwards says he has thrown this party to celebrate the fact that the greatest wrestler in TWF history is back tonight. The crowd jeers. King reminds Edwards that Frekishi is not here. Edwards says "What?!" and approaches Hawke, who he placed in charge. Hawke says he knows that Frekishi isn't here, but with all these women...you have to get a party goin'! Edwards agrees but says that he wants to address the issue of The Assassin here tonight. The Assassin will be putting his TWF Intercontinental Championship on the line tonight against Hawke! Edwards tells King to leave and he does.

Scott and Bobby remind us that xWa Parental Advisory is live, February 14th from the Bridgend Recreation Centre, where TWF, XCW, WEW and the XWF will all co-exist under one roof for one night. Scott and Bobby plug the theme for event; 'Kryptonite' by 3 Doors Down.

'Try Us' hits and the crowd cheers as JCVS and The Vamp walk down to the ring. This is Qualifier #2 to determine the finalists for Friday's Tournament Finals. Jean Claude and The Vamp have not tagged up in quite a while, but they are one of the greatest Tag-Teams in the history of the TWF.
'2-Tough' blasts over the PA and the crowd jeers as The Rogerz's entrance is anticipated. But they are nowhere to be found. Instead, they appear from underneath the ring and attack The Dreem Team from behind.
In this contest, you couldn't tell if it was for the gold or not, it was superb. Both teams used their knowledge of each other to attempt to win and it was great match, with the winners very deserving of a finals spot. In the end, the Rogerz attempted to finish the team off with a Spike Piledriver, but JCVS countered it into a double DDT. He went up top and hit a 5-Star Frog Splash on Hardkore, but Crash pulled him off, only to be greeted by the Bloodsucker chokeslam! Both men covered their opponents at the same time...1-2-3!
'Try Us' re-starts and the crowd cheers as JCVS and The Vamp raise their hands in the air. Team EV appear on the ramp and Brownie and Steven Jenkins look on at them. But Deadman & The AshTaker hit each male member over the head with the title belts. JCVS and The Vamp come in for the save, but do not help Team EV up. Perhaps this is a rivalry in the making?

[Version #3, BG Music: 'Times Like These' - Foo Fighters]

Outside, we look at the TWF flags blowing in the wind. It's a cold night outside, so if your out there, wrap up warm...but you're not, because your watching TWF Grit BasH, live on Sky Sports 1.

Backstage, Deadman & The AshTaker are walking around backstage, celebrating their masterful plan of getting rid of their possible opponents for their title defence on RAW. High Voltage, however, catches them up and says that as TWF Commissioner, he is here to reprimand the two men for what they just did. Not only is it unfair, they could have caused more TWF superstars to be on the shelf. So, HV thought out stripping them of their gold, but came up with a great idea. Should Deadman & The AshTaker successfully defend their championships next week, they will face a 4-Team 'Winner Stays On' Match @ xWa Parental Advisory. The crowd cheers as Deadman & The AshTaker laugh it off. AshTaker says that's no problem, and AshTaker knows that he could kick HVs ass right now if he chooses to. But HV reminds them that he can refer the above matter to the board of directors and they will be more than happy to sent their asses out the door. Deadman & The AshTaker now leave in anger, with HV asking them not to slam the door when their asses hit the floor.

The video of a mysterious man walking around a backstreet plays...and then 'Cemetery Gates' by metal Legends Pantera hits and the crowd cheers as The Assassin walks down to the ring with the Total Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship belt. He refused Mr. Edwards' offer to join Seek And Destroy earlier tonight and will pay the price by facing Hawke.
'What About Hawke?' hits and the crowd jeers as Hawke walks out in the aisle. He is not accompanied by Falcon, as she dumped him a while ago, but Hawke looks confident nonetheless.
This match was unlike what you could expect from two men like Hawke and Assassin, as it was very fast paced and The Assassin proved once more why he is as hyped as he is. Hawke hit the Evenflow DDT and went for the cover, but The Assassin gave a strong kick-out at 2 and hit Hawke with an F-5 from sitting down to standing up! The crowd cheered as The Assassin covered for the 1-2-3.
As 'Cemetery Gates' hit once more, Frekishi arrived! He ran down to the ring and he and Hawke decimated Assassin in a brutal 2-on-1 attack. The crowd chanted 'Biggie, Biggie!' in anticipation of a possible Mr. BIG appearance when...BAM! 'Away From Me' hits and NJS sprints down to the ring and hits Hawke with the N-Factor! Frekishi scampers and The Assassin grabs his belt, nods at NJS and leaves through the crowd.

NJS uses this opportunity to take the stick. NJS says that last week you saw him drive off to Paris for a romantic weekend, which was among the most passionate in his life with his girlfriend, but he is not out here to brag. He is here to set a record straight. Over the past few weeks, some people in the TWF locker room have been acting like complete jerks. At first, it took a while to figure out why, but then it all clicked...it's because Mr. BIG is never around. Biggie held the locker room together like super glue. And now he's gone, it has fallen apart. He is not gonna name names, but the locker room is a living hell right now, and he hates it. So he is out here to ask one favour of Mr. BIG. There is an xWa PPV coming up in February and as NJS's special guest, he wants Mr. BIG to attend it. The crowd cheers and NJS knows that Mr. BIG usually agrees with what he has to say. NJS leaves the ring to cheers.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott and Bobby remind us to set a few hours aside from your usual Saturday night plans on Valentine's Day for xWa Parental Advisory, which kicks off at 7pm GMT from the Bridgend Recreation Centre.

'Seek And Destroy', the anthem by Metallica hits, and the crowd jeers in anticipation as Marz, Jason Davies and Rhys Evans make their way down to ringside. This is the 6-Man Tag-Team Main Event that was decided after last week's RAW, where Jason Davies turned on his long time compadres, the Red Hoodie Crew.
'Always' by Saliva hits and for the first time in what is probably in an age, Adam Taylor, Stephen Dimmock and Ryan Jenkins run down to the ring with the crowd supporting them.
The match was very evenly contested, with weaknesses exposed all over the place, but eventually, a finish did happen. The Hoodie Crew looked to have the match wrapped up, when Marz came in and blasted each member with a chair, causing a DQ victory. After this, the beat down continued, until The Assassin came down to the ring slowly! No one was sure what he was gonna do...nail his long time adversaries The RHC or nail S&D. The Assassin got his title belt and nailed Adam Taylor to the crowd's boos and left through the crowd with Seek And Destroy celebrating. Has The Assassin decided to join Seek And Destroy?! S&D are celebrating a double victory it looks like, as an explosive edition of TWF Grit BasH comes to a thrilling end.
