TWF Grit BasH
February 25th 2004
GCourt Arena, Brackla, Bridgend

A highlights package from an explosive Grit BasH airs to begin tonight's show.

'Across The Nation' hits and the crowd cheers loudly. We are back @ the GCourt! The fireworks and pyros go off and Scott Hudson announces that tonight, we have the most talked about interview in years...Mr. BIG's interview with Scott Hudson will be aired tonight! Also tonight, we have a huge main event when TWF World Champion The Shott and High Voltage take on Hawke and Frekishi! Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan are at ringside tonight.

'Well I'm Here!'...BANG! BANG! BANG! 'High Voltage' hits and the crowd cheers loudly as the TWF Commissioner and #1 Contender for the TWF World Championship, High Voltage, walks down to the ring, with a huge smile on his face. HV takes the microphone from ring announcer Rachel Stevens and says that he's back in GCourt tonight! Yahootzie! HV says that since Wednesday, there has been one question on everyone's mind. It's not "Who will be TWF World Champion after Deadly MindGames?"...it's not "What has NJS been doing with Lita?" and it's sure not "Why isn't Frekishi TWF World Champion?". The question is...What did Biggie say in his Cell Phone call to HV. Well, HV says that he can tell you exactly what he said. Biggie told him to do 3 things. Firstly, book The Assassin in an IC Title Match at Deadly MindGames. HV said...that will be against THE BANDIT! The crowd cheers and Scott says that is a HUGE match! Secondly, he told him to tell NJS to switch his Cell Phone and tell him that he had a suggestion for a match type at Deadly MindGames. Finally, he said tell the fans I'll be back to kick Seek And Destroy's ass soon.
'P.I.M.P' hits and Mr. Edwards, Hawke and Frekishi walk out onto the stage to HUGE jeers from the crowd. Mr. Edwards has the microphone and says that what HV just said was a load of BS. Mr. Edwards informs HV that The Assassin vs. The Bandit match cannot take place because right now Biggie does not have any power, and he won't even be allowed near a TWF Venue if Edwards gets his way on Friday in Board of Directors meet at TWF Towers. Edwards informs HV that should he get the Board of Directors to see as way, and they always do...Mr. BIG will be barred from returning to the TWF in a position of power, and barred from returning to the TWF at all. And if HV has a problem, he can solve it right now! Hawke and Frekishi run down and assault HV, but The Shott runs down to even the score! HV and The Shott clear the ring to huge cheers and Frekishi and Hawke scamper backstage.

Backstage, almost every TWF Superstar is crowded around a TV screen in the locker room, awaiting the huge Mr. BIG interview, which is coming up...NOW!

We go back to ringside, where Rachel Stevens announces... "Now Ladies and Gentlemen, may I direct your attention to the TotalTron, where, in a moment, you will be able to watch the interview between Scott Hudson and Mr. BIG!" The crowd explodes and 15,000 sets of eyes watch on as the VT begins to play.
Biggie is wearing his trademark baseball cap, this one of the Chicago Cubs and an ultra-rare Tampa Bay Lightning alternate jersey. Scott Hudson firsts asks Biggie about his injury. Biggie says that the rehab went quite well, and he will be back in the ring training at the end of February. Scott congratulates Biggie and asks him of his opinions of what has transpired in the TWF in his absence. Biggie says it came as no surprise that Frekishi, Hawke and Mr. Edwards are showing their true colours. They are proving to be jackasses no matter what they do. Biggie says he can confirm that his idea for a match at Deadly MindGames was NJS vs. Hawke in a Buried Alive Match, but...WHAT?! BURIED ALIVE?! The crowd explodes and Biggie says "Duh...Buried Alive...perfect!". Biggie says that he has instructed High Voltage to make the match as he is an a position of authority. The crowd chants Biggie, but then the conversation turns to Frekishi. Biggie says that Frekishi is still the biggest son of a bitch walking God's Green Earth. Biggie says that it was never an "if" but a "when" I return, the fan's are calling for somebody's blood. Biggie says that he is reminded of a situation in 1997...they call it the Battle of Hockeytown. But the best part is, we are gonna relive that...but there's gonna be no turtle-ing, but rather an ass kicking, just like D-Mac did. Biggie stares at the camera and says that Frekishi took away one of the things he lives for. And when you do that to someone like Biggie, I'll just have to come back and kick your ass so hard and so many times that it gets implanted in your head that "Nobody...Betta 'Dan...B-I-G".

'One Of A Kind' blasts over the PA and the crowd is still hyped up after the Mr. BIG interview moments ago. Right now, JCVS makes his way to the ring for a match against Adam Taylor of the Red Hoodie Crew. JCVS's tag-team partner The Vamp is not here tonight and is unlikely to therefore receive help, should he need any.
'Always' echos over the PA and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as Adam Taylor, Stephen Dimmock and Ryan Jenkins walk down to the ring. We are shown some comments made by the Hoodie Crew regarding JCVS prior to the match.
The two men contested a superb opening contest. JCVS used his high-flying style with gusto, and Taylor used his brawling technique with great ease. Taylor looked to have the match won when he hit the individual version of Caught Red Handed, but then Josh Blanche, Jason Davies, Matthew Jones and Luke & Toddie storm down to the ring, attacking Taylor and handing Taylor a DQ win!
JCVS raises his arms in celebration and Blanche motions a handshake to JC, but JC has none of it. WHACK! Blanche is floored by a huge karate kick and the ring is cleared and JCVS celebrates on the turnbuckles before leaving ringside.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan remind fans that on Sunday we have a huge double header for you in terms of PPVs. XCW Apocalypse begins at 3pm UK Time, and promises to be a huge event, and beginning at 8pm is TWF Deadly MindGames. Deadly MindGames is also going to be the first TWF event broadcast in the Middle East on Showtime Arabia, with encores on TVLand through out the week!

Backstage, Mr. Edwards is seen throwing at dart at a portrait of Mr. BIG. He gets a knock at the door and it is Josh Blanche and his crew. He says that he demands a match with JCVS soon after what he has done. Edwards asks what Jones, Baird and McFarlene are doing with him. Blanche states that these are his Blood Brothers. They all have something in common and they all want to stick together as a team. And if one of them gets into trouble, their brothers will help them out. Edwards says that since JCVS thinks he's so hard, on RAW...it will be JCVS vs. Josh Blanche and Matthew Jones in a Handicap Match! The crowd jeers as Blanche thanks Edwards and leaves his office. However, HV walks in through the door. Voltage says that he heard the match Edwards just made and he thinks it sucks. Edwards says that he also forgot to mention at Deadly MindGames, High Voltage will put his Commissioner-ship on-the-line against a former TWF Commish...MARZ! The crowd jeers in a huge way, but HV gets in Edwards' face and warns him that beating Marz will be as easy...as...pie.

'Cemetery Gates' by Pantera hits and the crowd jeers loudly as The Assassin walks down to the ring with Falcon and Rhys Evans. Falcon says that she is representing the TWF Intercontinental Champion and right now he has no opponent for tonight, but he hopes to have that changed. He is offering an open challenge to anyone backstage to fight him tonight. As soon as Falcon says that...the arena blacks out and the words 'In 25 Days...Hell Is Unleashed Once More...'
As the lights slowly come back on, The Bandit is standing behind The Assassin...WHACK! Bandit nails The Assassin with a huge punch and the crowd cheers. Evans, The Assassin and Bandit brawl, with Evans and The Assassin gaining the upper hand, until Bandit's Tag-Team partner JT Money comes down to the ring with a baseball bat! JT swings at The Assassin, but The Assassin plants JT with his IC Title belt. Bandit however nails Evans with The Stupifier only for The Assassin to come in and hit Bandit with his Assassinator. The crowd jeers loudly as The Assassin holds his IC Belt high before he picks Evans up and leaves with Falcon. The Assassin looks rather pleased as he walks to the backstage area.

Backstage, Hawke and Frekishi are getting physiced for the tag-team Main Event tonight.

Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan run through the current TWF Deadly MindGames card, with the theme song 'Until The Day I Die' by Story of the Year playing in the background. Bobby mentions that should it happen, a Buried Alive Match between Hawke and NJS would be the highlight of the evening. Scott agrees but also mentions that Blonde Man and Jason Davies are likely to contest a bloodbath of a match in their Last Man Standing encounter at the event on Sunday.

Backstage, Michael King is standing by with TWF World Champion The Shott. King asks Shott about his thoughts about his opponents tonight, Hawke and Frekishi. Shott says that his two opponents tonight are both goody-two-shoe suck-ups to Mr. Edwards and as a friend of his would say...there's only one thing I hate more than the Colorado Avalanche...it's - "SUCK UPS!", the crowd shouts. The Shott says that Frekishi may be the tallest man in the TWF, and the heaviest...but all Frekishi did was throw one of the best wrestlers in history off the top of a TotalTron to gain notoriety. The Shott was once thrown off a stage...dropped 60 feet in an ambulance and been stabbed in the back by someone he considered a friend. The Shott says that he may not be physically as strong as Frekishi, but he is definitely mentally stronger. Because he's #1...the best one. The strong dominate the weak, but the clever dominate the strong!

[TWF Returns!]

'High Voltage' hits and the crowd cheers as HV walks down to the ring. He waits on the ramp for 'Cowboys From Hell' to hit and when it does, the crowd explodes as the TWF World Champion, The Shott, walks down to the ring with HV. The two men are teaming up when at No Way Back they could possibly be facing each other for the TWF World Championship.
'Seek & Destroy' hits as Hawke and Frekishi run down to the ring and straight at their opponents.
This match was fast-paced. The two non-tagged members on each team always brawled on the outside during the match, but when it all came down to it, the main action was in the ring. Frekishi hit The Shott with a Sit-Out Powerbomb and pinned him for the 1-2-3!
The crowd jeered as Frekishi and Hawke exited quickly up the ramp in celebration as Grit BasH came to a close.
