May 23rd 2004
Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan, USAThe show opened with a comprehensive video package. Tonight, the TWF holds perhaps one of the most defining events in it's history...over 65,000 have sold out Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan to see two of the biggest names in TWF history, Mr. BIG and High Voltage fight to determine the TWF World Championship.
"And now...Starburst presents...TWF Cyberslam II..." 'Step Up' by Drowning Pool rocks the stadium as the fireworks and pyros go off from the enormous set set up on the field for tonight's event. The set was set up like a computer, with the main screen acting like a monitor and speakers set up as mini-TotalTrons. A keyboard was the stage, featuring a video screen, much like WWE WrestleMania XX. Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside ready to witness tonight's action, where JT Money takes on Hawke for the xWa Championship and we have a Fatal Four Way for the TWF Intercontinental Championship!
'Never Gonna Stop' blasts over the PA to huge cheers as Blade appears on stage. The RWF Veteran is facing another RWF veteran...the only RWF Genesis Championship holder in history...Gareth Cole.
The Mangler's music hits to jeers from the crowd as he walks down to the ring, cockily as ever. He looks Blade straight in the eye as he gets down to the ring and the two talk trash before exchanging the first blows.
The two men contested a very good opening contested, reminding us of the quality of the now defunct RWF promotion. But, Blade dominated the match and when he hit The Blazer it looked to be over. The Mangler tried countering, but failed as Blade gave Cole the Victory Roll and secured the victory.
'Never Gonna Stop' hit as Blade exited the ring with Gareth Cole looking extremely pissed off with what has just transpired.
Backstage; Seek And Destroy are seen arriving backstage at Ford Field. They all step out of 1 of 2 black limos. Then a third pulls up with Mr. Edwards inside. Loud boos can be heard inside Ford Field as they head toward the locker room.
Backstage; High Voltage is with Michael King. King reminds High Voltage that later on tonight, in our main event, he must face a man he considered a friend for the TWF World Championship. HV cuts him off and says that Biggie was never a friend. All he did was care about himself. He always wanted to be number one, no one else. So tonight, HV is gonna take the has-been these people care about and put him in his place...out of the TWF.
The TWF Hardkore Championship is seen hanging above the ring, which means it is now time for the Hardcore Ladder Match! Stage hands are still preparing ringside when 'One Of A Kind' hits to huge cheers. BANG! Jean Claude Van Slam appears on stage and walks down to the ring with a smile on his face. He poses on one of the turnbuckles before warming up.
BANG! 'Slow Chemical' by Finger Eleven blasts over the PA as the stage fills up with the fires of hell. The Vamp, sporting a new-look mask and with a trash can in hand walks slowly down to the ring. He stops to pose back toward the stage...when JCVS flies over the top rope and hits him with a huge cross body!
These two men gave their all in a brutal match which saw both men lose blood. JCVS looked to have the match won when he drop kicked The Vamp from the ladder through a table. However, JCVS, bloodied and bruised, got up after The Vamp. The two continued brawling until JCVS managed to find some Barbed Wire! The crowd cheered as JCVS wrapped the Barbed Wire around a chair and planted The Vamp in the back with it! JCVS climbed the ladder and with his last amount of energy grabbed the belt!
'One Of A Kind' hit to huge cheers and sections of the crowd are standing in ovation. JCVS looks up at where the belt was and then glances at his shoulders, where the TWF Hardkore Title now is. He stumbles to his feet and looks over at the Vamp and smiles. He stumbles out of the ring and limps up the ramp to huge cheers from the crowd, whilst The Vamp is still laying in the ring. Suddenly, The Vamp arises and stands in the middle of the ring, overlooking the carnage. He raises his arms and the stage explodes into flames! The crowd gives a mixed reaction as The Vamp exits and walks backstage.
Backstage; Seek And Destroy witness what has just happened when Jason Davies walks in?! Jason walks up to Mr. Edwards and informs him that the plan is ready. Mr. Edwards announces to the rest of the group that Jason has re-joined Seek And Destroy and 'Stone Kold' Karl Davies does not know this for he has not arrived at the arena yet! The crowd jeers as Jason high-fives Hawke, High Voltage and Marz.
Scott and Joey are in shock at what they have just heard, but inform us that the next time we will join the TWF on Pay-Per-View will be for TWF Against All Odds 2004, which emanates from the new George Wimpey Arena in Broadlands, Bridgend on June 13th. The event has a few tickets left which you can get from Ticketmaster and the TWF Website.
The S.I.N. symbol lowers in front of the TotalTron to boos...BANG! The symbol explodes into flames as the arena darkens. Deadman and The AshTaker, former TWF Tag-Team Champions, are walking down to the ring ready for Deadman's match against Blonde Man for the TWF Television Championship. Joey Styles reminded us that TWF Cyberslam II is brought to you by Starburst tonight in the sold out Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
'Out Of My Way' by Seether plays and the crowd cheers as Blonde Man leaps out on stage. He walks down to the ring full of confidence and with a huge smile on his face. He poses on two of the turnbuckles with the belt before handing it to referee Keith Jones ready for the match.
These TWF veterans contested a good ol' TWF-style match, with a mix of brawling and technical skill, with some high-flying areas thrown in. However, Deadman looked to have won the belt when The AshTaker distracted referee Jones while Deadman used the TV Title belt to clock Blonde Man. Blonde Man was down and out, when he managed to not just kick out of the pin, but roll up Deadman...1-2-3!
'Out Of My Way' hit once more and the crowd cheered as Blonde Man grabbed his title and run back up the ramp. Deadman and The AshTaker are in total shock! They have been out-smarted by Blonde Man, who is still TWF TV Champion! Deadman shoves The AshTaker saying that their plan didn't work, and The AshTaker shoves him back.
Scott and Joey at ringside go over what has just happened, where Blonde Man has retained the TWF TV Championship. Scott and Joey then extend their congratulations to NJS and Lita who got married yesterday in Orlando, Florida. Most of the TWF was present at a wonderful ceremony and they would like to thank Mr. BIG for his hospitality and the people of Orlando and Walt Disney World who let them have an amazing 'special' day.
Backstage; Mr. BIG, The Bandit and JT Money are all backstage in their locker room. All three are standing in a circle and Bandit informs BIG and JT that tonight, they can become immortal. Biggie can become the only 5-time TWF World Champion in history...and be a true living legend; while JT can enhance his status by being the first man to win both the xWa singles and tag-team championships. Biggie speaks up and says that he doesn't need to win to be a living legend. In the eyes of many, he is already one. Tonight, for him is not about the title. Tonight, it's about delivering on promises...and he will do that to HV by promising that pain is only weakness leaving the body. Bandit and JT smile with Biggie looking psyched for his match.
'Out Of My Way' hits once more and Brownie and Steven Jenkins, with Hayley Holder, are already half-way down the ramp. Footage shows of the two's victory over Deadman & The AshTaker for the belts at last month's Easter HeAT.
'Try Us' begins to play as The Rogerz race down to the ring...wasting no time in decimating their opponents.
The Rogerz dominated this match from beginning to end, using big hitting moves to control Team EV's double-pronged attack of speed and technicality. But, suddenly, Deadman & The AshTaker walk down to ringside! They watch on as Brownie hits Crash Rogerz with a Karate Kick! But Deadman leaps in and pulls Deadman off! Referee Peter Cavalli calls for the bell and awards a Disqualification victory to Brownie & Steven Jenkins. 4 out-number the 2 and even when Blonde Man runs down to the ring, the sides are un-even. It appears The Rogerz have joined S.I.N! The crowd jeers as The AshTaker and Deadman do their S.I.N pose and look to be inducting The Rogerz. The lights go out...and when they come back on, S.I.N. are nowhere to be found! They have disappeared!
--- TWF RAW Commercial ---
Scott and Joey are still in shock and plug this weeks shows in Saginaw on Friday and Wednesday in Detroit, Michigan!
The arena darkens and footage of a helicopter flying around Chicago is shown. It flies into the direction of the Sears Tower and then 'Somewhere I Belong' starts up. Bandit walks out and poses in the middle of the stage with his TWF IC Title, causing fireworks to go off on both sides. Bandit enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckles to huge cheers.
'I'll Do What I Wanna' hits and the crowd jeers loudly as Karl Davies walks out on to the stage. He waits for a second and then...Holly walks out! She is back, and full-time as Karl Davies' manager, a role she had a year ago before screwing him at No Way BacK to be Mr. BIG's manager!
Suddenly, Jason Davies runs down to the ring with The Protege in hot pursuit! The three men brawl while Bandit looks on in the ring. The 3 men take their brawl to the ring and the match begins.
For the most part, Bandit and Jason double-teamed SKKD and Protege. But, the end result was quite unexpected. Bandit had given the Protege The Stupifier with such force he ended up on the outside. Jason Davies had SKKD in position for the 3-Point Stance and connects to huge cheers. He poses, but Bandit comes from behind and hits him with The Bandit Bomb! The crowd cheers! 1-2-3!
'Somewhere I Belong' hits and The Bandit grabs the Intercontinental Championship belt and poses on the turnbuckles. He grabs a Mountain Dew, toasts the belt before downing the beverage. He then calmly walks back up the ramp with a huge smile, while Davies holds his head and neck, knowing he will have a long recovery time from a brutal Bandit Bomb. Video Replays begin playing of a brutal version of The Bandit's old finishing move. Bandit poses on the stage before walking behind the curtain.
Backstage; Big Sexy Badass, Silver and Summer are walking along a corridor toward ringside for our next match, where they will face Marz & The Terminator for the xWa Tag-Team Championships.
Backstage; Marz and The Terminator are walking with Michelle in a different corridor arguing. Michelle tries to break the argument but to no avail.

"CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES..." "THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!". The famous start-up to BSB and Silver's entrance has the crowd standing on their feet. They walk out either side of the curtain and pose with Summer, Silver's long-time girlfriend before walking down to the ring. BSB and Silver were among the longest holding tag-team champions in the xWa's history (TWF, XCW, RWF, WEW & XWF) before losing the straps around a month ago. Tonight, they have the chance to regain the titles.
The opening guitar riff from "The Last Time Again" by LIT plays before it fades into "Low" by the Foo Fighters...BAM! Batista's music plays as Marz, with Michelle & The Terminator walk slowly down to the ring with the xWa Tag-Team Championships wrapped around their waists. Footage shows from Grit BasH this week, where this match came about. Marz then kisses Michelle and hands her the titles. The referee Kevin Poole grabs the belts before Michelle gets them back.
These two adversaries may only have been feuding for months but they produced a great match that you would have mistaken for teams that had been feuding for years. BSB has taken Marz on the outside and had him place to Big Hit him through the Welsh Announce Table at ringside...but Michelle low-blowed BSB and Marz hit BSB with the xWa Tag-Title behind referee Poole's back! The crowd jeered, but Silver had the match won in the ring after hitting the Quicksilver! 1-2-Marz pulled him off! Marz and The Terminator laughed and looked at each other. Silver felt screwed. He looked like he was about to be double teamed...but in came BSB...he Big Booted Marz and Terminator looked to be next, but Terminator hit the Game Over! Silver then hit the Last Resort on Marz! Terminator rolled out of the ring and looked to grab a chair but was unaware of what was happening! 1......2...Michelle climbed into the ring......3! It was too late!
The crowd erupted! Silver and BSB leaped for joy and Michelle, who had the xWa Tag-Team Championships on her shoulder was gob smacked! Poole took the belts from her shoulder and handed them to BSB and Silver, who placed Summer on their shoulder with the belts and were enjoying a great moment. Michelle picked up Marz and took him to the back...but Terminator caught up with them! He attacked Marz and gave him a VICIOUS T-Bone Suplex onto the metal stage! The Terminator then threw Michelle with such force here stilettos ended up in the 16th row! BSB and Silver continued to celebrate in the ring with Summer for quite some time.
Backstage; Hawke and Falcon are in Seek And Destroy's dressing room, kissing and are about to leave, before Mr. Edwards, Sumo Samurai and TWF World Champion High Voltage approach them. Edwards reminds Hawke that he must leave the match as champion...or else. HV looks Hawke straight in the eye and says he hates his stinking guts...but it he kicks any of Mr. BIG's friends asses, he couldn't care who he is. HV says Hawke had better get the job done. Hawke looks back acknowledges what was just said and heads toward the ring. Edwards, Sumo and HV each look on.
Scott and Joey introduce a video package about this story, which hit a nerve on Grit BasH with JT Money's challenge to Hawke.

'Followed The Waves' - Auf Der Maur]
'Malleus Maleficarum' is heard blasting from the titan tron as JTMoney is seen stepping out of the curtains. He approaches the ring with a loud array of cheers. JTMoney then goes over to the announcer and grabs his mic. JTMoney then rolls in the ring and begins to speak. JT says that tonight, he wants to hold no bounds against Hawke, so he wants to make this a No-Holds-Barred Match!
'What About Hawke?' hits and Hawke walks out on to the stage with the xWa Championship on his shoulder and a microphone in his hand. Falcon is by his side. Hawke says that frankly, he couldn't give a crap about JT Money anyway and runs down to the ring to begin this match!
These two men contested a classic. Their similar styles helped the match tremendously. But, the outcome shocked the crowd. Hawke had hit the Evenflow DDT, and looked to hit JT with the move once more, but this time onto a steel chair. However...'Cemetery Gates' by Pantera blasted over the PA! The Assassin is back! He runs down to the ring and nails Hawke with a huge right. The Assassin pummels on the self proclaimed singing god before hitting him with The Assassinator! The crowd cheered as JT Money climbed up top and hit The Money Shot! 1-2-3!
The crowd EXPLODED! Falcon is in tears at ringside and is on her knees. JT Money has won the xWa Championship! JT Money looks at Hawke in the middle of the ring and smiles. The Assassin walked over to JT. The two stood face-to-face and then Assassin extended a hand. JT shook it to huge cheers. The Assassin clapped his hands at JT before leaving the ring with a smile on his face. Falcon and Hawke regroup at ringside and JT is simply left celebrating in the ring.
Backstage; Karl Davies and Holly are in the Seek And Destroy locker room. Mr. Edwards goes on a rant saying that so far tonight they have no victories. Davies lost, Protege lost and Hawke has lost. Nothing is going right. Sumo Samurai suddenly bursts in and tells Mr. Edwards that "he" is here. Seek And Destroy stop what they are doing and each turn to each other and smile.
Backstage; Mr. BIG is walking toward ringside wearing a Detroit Lions jersey and a can of Cherry Coke in his hand to huge cheers. He takes the jersey off revealing his wrestling gear underneath and signs the jersey. He then throws it to a road agent and then downs the rest of his Cherry Coke before throwing it at a portrait of High Voltage in the hallway.

'Step Up' - Drowning Pool]
Rachel Stevens gets on the microphone and says "Ladies and Gentleman, the next match is our main event and is scheduled for one fall. This match is for the TWF Championship of the World!". The crowd explodes as she says this.
The words 'Danger! High Voltage' blast over the PA and a loud lightning bolt hits the stage 3 times, causing fireworks to go off in all parts of the stage. 'High Voltage' by Linkin Park starts up on the PA and HV walks out onto the stage and walks over to both sides of the stage and taunts the fans. HV walks down the ramp and enters the ring, bouncing, before posing on the turnbuckles with the TWF World Championship.
The crowd is already on their feet, when The words 'Just Think About It' hits the screen and the crowd cheers. A video montage flicks through Mr. BIG's greatest moments very quickly...then, BANG! Some pyros, exactly like those of Chris Jericho's entrance go off & 'Prayer' by Disturbed hits. Mr. BIG appears in the entrance way to the biggest cheers of the night in a reverse crucifix pose. Biggie turns around and then walks down the ramp, and high fives some fans around ringside. Biggie walks down to the ring with a Steve Austin-like look and attitude and the crowd is cheering him all the way. He walks around the ring and high fives some more fans. He then enters the ring and poses on all four of the Turnbuckle in an Austin-like fashion. He steps down off the last turnbuckle and gets in HV's face. Chief Referee Bob Sage holds up the TWF World Championship in the air and this match is underway!
This match was the ultimate match to take place in a TWF ring. No wonder the TWF has sold out Ford Field for this event! These two legends showed why their banners are high up in the rafters of The Bridgend Dome in the TWF Hall of Fame with a match for all-time! Mr. BIG and HV duelled all over the place, including in the crowd and HV placed Biggie through Scott Hudson and Joey Styles' announce table at ringside, bloodying Biggie. But, Mr. BIG looked to have the match won after hitting HV with The Equaliser. Biggie picked HV back up and threw him into the corner. Biggie smiled clearly under all the blood and the crowd cheered loudly! Biggie charged at HV like a bull...The Firebreather! But then the crowd booed! FREKISHI WAS WALKING THROUGH THE CROWD! Frekishi stepped in the ring and got in Biggie's face! HV got back up and threw Frekishi out of the ring, but Frekishi soon got back in the ring and hit both men with a double clothesline! Referee Bob Sage had no choice but to call for the bell! HV retains the title under a DQ! HV and Frekishi beat on Biggie and Frekishi is seen mouthing something to Mr. BIG here. HV and Frekishi hold the TWF World Championship high above each other as Cyberslam has drawn to a shocking close.
