TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
June 2nd 2004
United Center, Chicago, Illinois

A highlights package from Cyberslam II last Sunday shows to begin the programme.

We open with no video package or music, instead to Seek And Destroy in the ring. Mr. Edwards takes the microphone and says that tonight, his mission has finally been accomplished. Tonight, the TWF will be without NJS because he is at home, still recovering from the shock at Easter HeAT and Mr. BIG has not shown up because he is too embarrassed to show his face. Edwards states that Hawke, Karl Davies, High Voltage and Frekishi proved at Cyberslam II that this is the most dominant faction in the history of the TWF. Lt. Sumo Samurai then takes the stick. He states that after 'much' deliberation within the faction, it has been decided that Mr. BIG will not be granted a re-match for the TWF World Championship, and tonight, Hawke will receive a re-match for the xWa Championship against JT Money in a No Disqualification Match!
Suddenly, 'No More Tears' by Ozzy Osbourne hits! No one is quite sure what to expect, but, the TWF Owner and Head of the Board, Doug Edwards walks out with his entourage of bodyguards! The crowd cheers as he stands in the middle of the stage. Edwards Snr. takes the stick and informs his grandson that tonight, he is here to set a few things straight. Firstly, NJS is not here because of shock, it is because he and his wife are on a honeymoon and are looking to settle down. Second of all, Mr. BIG has been given the night off to recover from his injuries suffered at the hands of High Voltage at Cyberslam. In fact, that is what he is here to talk about. D. Edwards says he watched Cyberslam and said that on behalf of the fans, he felt they did not get what they deserved. So, at TWF Against All Odds on June 13th, Mr. BIG will get his re-match. In fact, it will be no ordinary match. At Against All Odds, it will be Mr. BIG vs. High Voltage...VS. FREKISHI in a Three Way Dance! A Three Way Dance differs from a Triple Threat Match because the match is fought under Elimination rules! Edwards's jaw drops in the ring and High Voltage is besides himself. Frekishi is also angry. The Owner then says "And one final thing...Hawke vs. JT Money will be a good ol' TWF-style...LUMBERJACK MATCH!". Hawke goes ape shit in the ring as 'No More Tears' hits and the crowd cheers. Doug Edwards and his entourage walk backstage with Seek And Destroy looking ape shit in the ring.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside tonight, and they inform us that also tonight, Marz will face Blonde Man in a Non-Title Match, whilst in tag-team action, Big Sexy Badass & Silver will take on the newest members of S.I.N., The Rogerz. Plus, we will have an exclusive interview with Jason Davies on his thoughts after Cyberslam II where The Bandit nailed him with a vicious Bandit Bomb.

Backstage; Michael King is talking about what happened at Cyberslam II involving Hawke and JT Money, when Marz's pick-up truck pulls up! The crowd gives him a mixed reaction as he and Michelle step out. Kingie attempts to grab a word and Marz says that basically, he felt Terminator screwed him out of gold last night, and he doesn't care if he's in Seek And Destroy or not, he wants to kick his ass! With that, Marz and Michelle head down the corridor and down the Seek And Destroy dressing room!

"CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES"..."THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!". The crowd cheers loudly as Big Sexy Badass and Silver walk out either side of the screen to huge cheers. Summer joins Silver and they kiss on the ramp whilst BSB poses with the xWa Tag-Team Championship. Footage shows how these two men finally won back their straps in a memorable match at Cyberslam II.
'2-Tough' hits to huge boos and The Rogerz walk out with Deadman by their side. The Rogerz are dressed in darker attire tonight, mainly because they became the latest members of S.I.N. at Cyberslam. Footage shows of that event too. This match is non-title.
The two tag-teams contested an excellent match that would have felt at home on PPV. The managers at ringside made their presence felt, none more so than Deadman who came into the ring with the xWa Tag-Team Championship belts and nailed both BSB and Silver with them! Referee Keith Jones saw this and called the for the bell, giving BSB and Silver a DQ victory.
Deadman and The Rogerz beat down on BSB and Silver, when The AshTaker joined in to make it 4-on-2. Summer at ringside cried for help, and when it really looked like S.I.N. had made their mark, Brownie and Steven Jenkins ran down to the ring to huge cheers! The 4 teams battled it out, but S.I.N. retreated to the back to huge cheers. BSB, Silver and Team EV called them back, but The AshTaker held his troops back. In the ring, Silver consoles Summer before the champions pose with their belts.

Backstage; Marz storms into the Seek And Destroy locker room and immediately walks up to The Terminator. Marz questions what Terminator did at Cyberslam II and what he has done to upset the upper management. Mr. Edwards leaps in and tells Marz to break it off. Marz refuses and continues to verbally abuse Terminator. Mr. Edwards then pushes Marz, and Marz punches Mr. Edwards! Seek And Destroy all leap on Marz and Terminator calls the shots. Road Agents come in and break up the fight, and as Marz leaves, Sumo Samurai turns to him and does the old cutting of the throat motion, which means Marz has been dragged, literally, out of Seek And Destroy!

[TWF Returns!]

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles welcome us back to Chicago and replay the footage from moments ago, where Marz sucker punched Mr. Edwards.

In the ring is Mr. Smooth! The crowd cheers as the Sit Down With A Superstar set is out and Smoothy says that it's now about time that the North American audience were introduced to the phenomenon of...Sit Down With A Superstar!
'Superstar' hits and Smoothy begins to introduce his guest. He joined the TWF as a legitimate athlete and was a TWF Television Champion, he recently aligned himself with 'Stone Kold' Karl Davies, but at Cyberslam II, Davies double crossed him and joined Seek And Destroy. To add to that, he was given a brutal Bandit Bomb by Chicago's very own The Bandit (the crowd cheers at the mere mention of his name!). Please welcome tonight's guest...Jason Davies!
'Calling All Girls' by ATL hits and the crowd gives Jason a mixed reaction as he boogies his way down to the ring. Jason leaps into the ring, shakes Mr. Smooth's hand and takes a seat. Smoothy welcomes him and begins with his first question, how did he feel when Karl Davies, his mentor, left him to join Seek And Destroy? Jason replies by saying that right before a big match like that, it was a body blow to him to think that someone he respected and looked up to can treat him like that. Jason also passes comment on his manager, Orlando-based Holly. Jason says that Holly is an extremely attractive young woman, but she's blonde...and being Karl's manager sums it up really. The crowd cheers as he says that. Smoothy then asks him about The Bandit Bomb that he received at Cyberslam II. Smoothy directs him to the SmoothVision...and as the footage shows, Jason looks a little surprised at the impact of the move. Jason says that he felt he was screwed by a man who helped him during the match. At this point, a section of the crowd chants "Crybaby", which quickly spreads around the crowd! Jason grabs the microphone from Smoothy and says that there is one thing he sure as hell isn't, it's a crybaby. He is a former TWF Television Champion and these people should give him respect! Jason sits back down.
Smoothy is about to ask his next question...when the Helicopter flies around Chi-Town! The crowd EXPLODES! The Chopper flies toward the Sears Tower and 'Somewhere I Belong' hits to the biggest cheers you will hear! Chicago's own The Bandit walks out! He poses at either side of the ramp to cheers and then walks down the ramp and poses with the IC Title, which sets pyros off all around. Bandit steps into the ring and gets a microphone from ring announcer Rachel Stevens. Bandit says that he's gonna have to apologise to Smoothy because he's gonna have to teach this kid the meaning of respect. The crowd cheers and an extremely loud "Bandit" chant begins. Bandit acknowledges the crowd and then tells Jason Davies that respect is more than a 7-letter word. The crowd respects Bandit because he has put the fans before himself on more than one occasion. Bandit respects JT Money, Mr. BIG, NJS and countless others because they have the same dedication that he does. Davies thinks that working together for one night in one match is the meaning of respect? Bandit says that, frankly, is bullshit. The crowd cheers. Jason grows angry and now gets in Bandit's face. Bandit says that he has to teach this kid the meaning of respect. So, at Against All Odds, The Bandit will face Jason Davies in a match for the TWF Intercontinental Championship! Smoothy says that is a great match, now confirmed for the Pay-Per...Jason cuts him off and says that he doesn't want Bandit to think that he can beat him once to win the championship. He wants to embarrass the Bandit in a big way. He wants to beat the Bandit twice! Davies says he wants to make the match a Best 2-out-of-3 falls match! The crowd gives a mixed reaction and Smoothy leaps in, saying that the last 2-out-of-3 falls match in the TWF was at Easter HeAT 2001, when Marz defeated The Shott. Bandit looks around and accepts Jason's offer. And then says that Jason had better be ready to be taught what respect means. Bandit turns around, shakes Smoothy's hand and then turns back to be greeted by a spear from Jason Davies! The crowd jeers, but Smoothy tries to get Jason off. Jason then gets in Mr. Smooth's face, but out of nowhere, Mr. Smooth plants him with a Smooth Kick to the face! The crowd cheers as Smoothy gets Bandit back up and poses with the Chicago-native before they walk backstage, with Davies wincing in pain in the ring.

Backstage; JT Money is warming up in a quiet corner of his dressing room, ready for the lumberjack match for his xWa Championship, later on tonight.

'Out of My Way' by Seether blares over the PA and the crowd cheers as Blonde Man makes his way down to the ring for his non-title match against Marz, coming up next. We have pre-recorded comments from Blonde Man on his victory at Cyberslam II over Deadman, and Blonde Man basically says he deserved his victory.
'Last Time Again' hits and the crowd gives a mixed reaction. Marz doesn't walk out however! There is a long pause, but when he does walk out, it is with the Terminator behind him with a lead pipe! Terminator clocks Marz with the lead pipe! Michelle runs out and grabs a hold of Terminator in a bear-hug, but Terminator throws her over him. Terminator continues pounding on Marz but Blonde Man charges up the ramp! He takes the fight to Terminator and drags both men down to the ring. This appears to have turned into a triple threat match!
The three men brawled all over ringside trading blows no matter where and with what. They beat the living hell out of each other out of sheer hatred, particularly Marz & The Terminator. But, Blonde Man also managed to get involved, beating up both men. Blonde Man had hit the Karate Kick and pinned Marz for the 1-2-3, but Terminator then hit him with Game Over! The crowd jeered as Terminator had Marz laid down in the middle of the ring...he went under the ring and found...gasoline! The crowd gasped and the Terminator had an evil smile on his face! Suddenly, XCW's The Celtic Warrior ran down to the ring! The crowd cheered as he hit Terminator from behind just as he was about to enter the ring. Warrior threw Terminator into the ring post and then chucked him into the ring. Terminator was still feeling the effects of the shot to head and, without knowing, knocked over the gasoline! The crowd continued to gasp, but Marz was just coming around. Warrior came back into the ring and threw Terminator into the ropes and hit him with a Tombstone Piledriver! Warrior grabbed a gasoline covered Marz and got the hell on out of there. The Terminator then posed, which caused the lights to turn off, and the next thing we see is the top rope on fire! As the lights go back on, the Terminator is nowhere to be found!

Backstage; Hawke and Falcon are preparing in the Seek and Destroy locker room for the main event, which is next when Mr. Edwards offers some choice words to Hawke. If he fails tonight, he lets the team down, and you know what happens when you leave the team down...you get kicked out, as demonstrated by Marz. So if Hawke gets pinned tonight, his ass will hit the floor on the way out.
Backstage; The Bandit is with JT Money, walking down a hallway to ringside for our main event, next!

-- XCW One Wild Night Highlights --
[BG Music: 'Until It Sleeps' - Metallica]

"n......W......o"! The crowd EXPLODES! "Ouahahaha!" 'Down With The Sickness' by Chicago's own, Disturbed, hits and The Bandit walks out first to cheers. He waits on the ramp and the points back at the xWa Champion, JT Money as he walks down to the ring. The Bandit and JT pose with their championships and Bandit hands JT's title to referee Bob Sage before sitting down with commentators Scott Hudson and Joey Styles for this match.
'What About Hawke?' hits to jeers as Hawke and Falcon walk on to the ramp. They kiss in the middle of the ramp and then walk down to the ring. They kiss once more before Hawke cockily enters the ring. The bell rings and the match gets underway.
'No More Tears' hits for the second time tonight, but this time it is to signal the arrival of the lumberjacks. They were led by Seek And Destroy, who occupied one section of ringside. The Red Hoodie Crew then made their way out to cheers. They were followed by Big Sexy Badass, Silver and Jean Claude Van Slam.
The two men used the lumberjacks as best as they could, with JT boasted by his home crowd. JT did use this as best as he could and Hawke, in fairness, did try to counter it by taunting the crowd, but that added to the atmosphere of the match. Hawke had sent JT into the midst of the Seek And Destroy lumberjacks and JT was getting murdered by them. But, BSB and co went over and managed to even the score somehow. Backstage, High Voltage and Frekishi look on. JT is about to get counted out when he manages to get into the ring! But then, Seek And Destroy invade and pile on JT and Bob Sage has no choice but to ring the bell as he has lost all control of the match! The Bandit now enters the ring but he too is assaulted. The Red Hoodie Crew also try to help, but they succumb to the numbers. The crowd is chanting "Biggie, Biggie!" in hope that Mr. BIG runs down to the ring. But then 'Cemetery Gates' by Pantera hits! The Assassin runs down to the ring with a chair to huge cheers! He nails Karl Davies! Rhys Evans goes down! The Vamp joins them! He then goes after Hawke! BANG! BANG! He hits Hawke twice! High Voltage and Frekishi then run down to the ring, but Bandit and JT Money take care of them! The Assassin takes care of Hawke whilst High Voltage and Frekishi get pummelled on! Assassin then F5's Hawke onto the chair! The crowd cheers then as High Voltage and Frekishi leave the ring and then Hawke is rolled out. The Bandit, JT Money & The Assassin the pose on the turnbuckles to huge cheers before trash talking Seek And Destroy as the show goes off air.
