xWa Xtreme Overload
Friday, June 25th 2004
The XCW Arena, Brackla, Bridgend

An opening video, highlighting the history of the 4 promotions competing tonight, opens the show. Tonight, the RWF will finally bow out with one final hurrah, with it's championship being defended by perhaps it's most glorious champion...The Assassin. Also tonight... we will witness the return of the WarGames...The Match Beyond!

Some slow music that sounds like this year's Judgment Day theme plays to begin the show. The fireworks go off and pyros explode on the ramp...it is time for the Overload! At ringside are 'JR' Jim Ross and alongside him is Jerry 'The King' Lawler, who are here as non-partisan members of neither promotion, but will call tonight's matches nonetheless. King plugs the XWF, who he announced for at one time. The set is that of tomorrow night's Overdose, except it has Overload where 'Overdose' will be, and is dressed in red, rather than the grey of tomorrow night.

And we are set to begin with the Battle for Pride Battle Royal! This battle royal will feature 20 superstars and the final four from each promotion will compete in a fatal four way to stand proudest tonight.
First up...WEW. The Thunder Theme song hits to huge cheers as J-Fox, The Fox, Badass, Danny and Big Pappa Dave walk down to the ring. They all look really happy to be here tonight representing their promotion. For many, this is their first match in quite some time in an xWa ring.
Next up...FWF. Jack, Ripper, Dead, Russell and Big Ben make their way down to the ring. Big Ben towers over all of the competitors like his name sake in London. They stand on one side of the ring awaiting the arrival of the RWF competitors.
The RWF theme song plays and Deadman King, Thomas Grubb, Big Bob Basher, Big Bob Daddy and Steve Blackman make their way to the ring. Blackman, the hardcore legend and multi-time WWF Hardcore Champion has brought his trademark nut-chux with him to the ring.
The XWF guys will be introduced separately. First out were Douthwaite and Grav from the FWF faction in the XWF. These two men were the most hated men in the XWF at one time. They were followed out by GRAVEDIGGER! As "Need A Grave?" echoed throughout the PA, the crowd give the first really, really big cheers to Digger. Following him out was Axel Foley, who on the first episode of Carnage, caused a Steel Cage to collapse on nO-DQ. Finally...there was an awkward silence. BANG! OTTOBOMB WALKED OUT! HOLY...FREAKIN...SHIT! Ottobomb stirs up the crowd as he runs down into the ring and the match begins.
WEW's eliminations were quite quick and un-fought. Big Pappa Dave was eliminated by Ottobomb, Danny followed him after a fantastic dropkick from J-Fox, then Badass and J-Fox eliminated each other. J-Fox, who was irate, continued their brawl backstage.
The FWF guys were all eliminated even quicker. The XWF guys threw Jack, Ripper, Russell then Dead out, leaving Big Ben. The RWF boys had a humdinger, with the Bobs trying to eliminate old rival Deadman King, but ended up getting eliminated by Big Ben! Deadman thanked the giant, but he thew him out with ease. Douthwaite and Grav were thrown out by Gravedigger, who fought a battle with Axel Foley. He threw Foley out, but Ottobomb hit him with the xTC and Gravedigger was eliminated. The final four were: The Fox [WEW], Big Ben [FWF], Steve Blackman [RWF] & Ottobomb [XWF]. The first elimination was Blackman pinning Big Ben to a huge shock. The Fox then pinned Blackman, leaving The Fox and Ottobomb to battle. The Fox, a member of the TWF in it's early days and XWF/VWF/XHWF legend Da BomB contested a great match, that shocked many. Otto hit the Xplosion and pinned The Fox. As his music hit, he raised The Fox's hand in appreciation of a great effort. Then hit him with another Xplosion before leaving to a standing ovation!

Backstage; NJS is seen arriving at Overdose in his 2001 Chevrolet Corvette with his girlfriend Lita. The crowd cheers as he walks out and the first person he sees is Michael King. King asks him about his return a few moments ago on TWF RAW. NJS says that now he is back, he is ready to kick as much as humanly possible. Then, he gets home and has some lovin off the Misses...cause he's N-J-S...WOOOOOO!

'Superstar' hits to huge cheers as the Sit Down With A Superstar set is in the ring. Mr. Smooth enters the ring and takes a microphone. He says that tonight, he is at Xtreme Overdose to interview someone who is hated by more men than David Beckham after his penalty miss against Portugal. But he is hated because he has screwed countless people out of championships and was behind one of the biggest conspiracies of them all, when he helped shut down The People's Forum...the original home of the XWF. Ladies and gentlemen...CHEZI!
'Prepare For The End', Chezi's old XWF Theme Song hits and EVERYONE in the XCW Arena is standing and booing Chezi down to the ring. Even Jerry Lawler is standing up abusing Chezi as he smiles, walking down to the ring. He stands up and Smoothy sits down and he takes the microphone. Smoothy immediately asks Chezi about his introduction. Chezi said that has to be the best introduction he has ever had. The crowd continues jeering as he basks in the glory of being the most hated man on the planet. Smoothy asks why he is so hated. Chezi informs him he has video footage why. XWF Bad Blood...September 23rd 2001...Allstate Arena, Chicago, Illinois. Chezi and The Bandit screw Mr. BIG out of the XWF World Championship in a Royal Rumble, despite Mr. BIG drawing #1 and out lasting everyone else. Chezi says that was his crowning moment. Having a man BIG considered a friend screw him out of what he wanted most. That was the XWF World Championship. Bandit, of course, decided to go to the darkside and screwed himself out of being the most hated person on the planet. Smoothy questions Chezi's morals. Chezi says he has plenty. He now has a fast car...hot women everywhere he goes and so much money, he's considering retirement. Biggie still has to work for a living...as does everyone else in the XWF besides him and Rivers! He is rich and famous, and that's all he ever wanted to be. Biggie, Bandit, JT Money and all just want to be everyone's friend, and this is no way to go about it. Suddenly... the arena darkens!
'Just Think About It'!....BANG! 'King Nothing' by Metallica hits and the crowd cheers and some are turning to others in the crowd and whispering "This WILL get ugly!". Biggie enters the ring and gets in Chezi's face before posing on the turnbuckles. Biggie gets a microphone from ring announcer Rue DeBona. Biggie says that "Finally...The BIG Storm has returned to the XCW Arena...BABY!". The crowd cheers as Biggie tells Chezi that he was listening to what Chezi had to say and he is...to lack of a better term...pissed off. Chezi is telling these people something which is completely untrue. Biggie is still pissed off about Bad Blood...but one month later he kicked Chezi's ass at Hell On Earth and became, arguably, one the best XWF World Champions of all time. And there are people like Bandit, JT Money and Ottobomb who would agree. Chezi is simply here for the fame...just like Beckham now is for England. He was originally in it for the football, but now he's far more concerned as to when his next Gillette commercial needs filming. Biggie says that Beckham and Chezi have a lot in common. Both have missed from the spot. The crowd "Oah!"'s at that comment. Biggie exclaims that he can stop wrestling tomorrow, be a multi-millionaire, have fast cars. He may not have women, he gives Chezi that, but he is happy with the way he lives his life. Chezi needs to get a new life. He just checked page 22 of the FreeAds and theres one going for 5p...wait, just taken by High Voltage. Chezi is about to say something, when instead he hits Biggie with a right hand! Biggie grounds Chezi with a huge right and then executes a perfect Equaliser! The crowd cheers as he leaves Chezi laying! Biggie calls for the Cherry Coke. Smoothy simply watches on and cheers Biggie as he climbs the turnbuckle. But Chezi gets back up and is looking for a Double Arm DDT off the top rope! The crowd jeers, but Biggie reverses, hitting Chezi where it hurts and sending him flying to the ground. Biggie floors Chezi with a clothesline, then gets him back up and hits him with The BIG Storm! The crowd cheers as 'King Nothing' hits and he shares a Cherry Coke with Mr. Smooth before walking backstage, with Chezi still on the floor.

Backstage; The Assassin is seen making his way to the ring, ready for his RWF World Championship match...next!

--- xWa Xtreme Overdose Commercial ---

JR and the King remind us to join them and Scott Hudson and Joey Styles for tomorrow night's xWa Xtreme Overdose II, a joint presentation of the TWF and XCW. The show kicks off on Saturday at 8:00pm and will be broadcast for free on the Xtreme Wrestling Network...the xWn, which is celebrating it's first birthday. And you can win tickets to the biggest event of the Summer...TWF Summer Break!

The arena darkens and suddenly 'Pride' by Saliva starts up one last time. BANG! The pyros go off as The Assassin walks out with the RWF World Championship on his shoulder and his American Flag in the other hand. He enters the ring and waves Old Glory about before posing with the championship belt. TWF Referee Kevin Poole, dressed in his red TWF referee's shirt, will take control of this match.
'One Of A Kind'...BANG! JCVS then walks out to just as bigger cheers. We are shown footage of what happened when The Assassin defeated Jean Claude at xWa Xtreme Intentions last October to finally become champion. Tonight, he could become the last ever RWF Champion!
These two old rivals contested an awesome match to finally end the RWF World Championship dynasty...from Summer Break 2002 when The Vamp merged it with the TWF Championship...to the tournament last year to crown the champion, which Van Slam won. But The Assassin prevailed and won the match, using his old Assassinator move to finish JCVS off.
As 'Pride' hit, the two old rivals stared each other down. They looked each other dead in the eye as The Assassin offered JCVS a handshake. JCVS looks around...and then shakes it. The two rivals hug then raise their arms in the air. They walk backstage together to huge cheers.

JR and The King inform us that next up is the WARGAMES!

--- Video Package ---
[RWF History; XWF History]

JR says that he has the pleasure of calling some WarGames matches whilst in WCW...but this could potentially top them all. We then go up to ring announcer Kelly Dalglish, who announces the rules of this encounter. The match consists of 6 periods. The first period is 5 minutes in duration and 2 men will begin the match inside the cage. Then, a coin toss will take place to determine who will get the advantage of men in the cage as the match progresses. After all 8 men are inside the cage and the two rings, the WarGames begins...Submission...OR SURRENDER!
The RWF guys and the XWF guys are already out, and the captains, Hawke and Bandit have nominated themselves to start the match. The two men brawled inside the cage for what seemed longer than 5 minutes, when the RWF team won the coin toss. Frekishi was next man in. It was a brutal 2-on-1 affair until Dope C was next for the XWF team. The match really hotted up when Dope entered, with him hitting a huge xTC on Frekishi off the top rope! Then, Gareth Cole entered the ring and Dope and Bandit still dominated. But, a huge tide was turned when Bubba Jones entered the cage, as it appeared that the RWF guys dominated. The Vamp was the last man in. It was sheer warfare and as we counted down the final minute, The Overnight Male was ready to unleash a can of whoop ass! Referee Bob Sage opened the cage door and Overnight unleashed fury upon them all! The RWF still dominated, until suddenly, The Bandit got hold of Gaz Cole and locked in The Bandit Stretch! Cole refused to tap out...but was knocked out...therefore he has surrendered!
'Somewhere I Belong' hit as the XWF guys exited the cage as it was being lifted up to the rafters. They all posed on the ramp and hugged one another as they celebrated a victory where the XWF stands tall.

Backstage; Mr. Edwards and Mr. Job-Smith are standing in front of the Pyramid Cage, informing us that tomorrow night is Overdose...DON'T MISS IT!
