August 4th 2004
Summerhill Drive Park, Broadlands, BridgendThe opening package showed highlights from Friday's explosive edition of Fury. We are reminded of tonight's main event, where Frekishi will face High Voltage in a Loser Leaves TWF Lumberjack Ladder Match!
'Heavy' hits to huge cheers and the capacity crowd of just over 2,500 has picked inside Summerhill Drive Park, across the road from Mr. BIG, Joe Whelan and Adam Taylor's houses for tonight's action packed edition of Grit BasH! The set is smaller than usual, but still has a ramp. The main interviews will be conducted in Mr. BIG's house, and Hawke has already set up office in a special van! Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside and inform us that later tonight, JCVS will take on Bandit and Big Sexy Badass will face Karl Davies!
"I'm A Phat Man...hahahah!" The crowd surprisingly cheers as Frekishi makes his way down to the ring. He poses on both sides of the ramp before walking down to the ring. Rachel Stevens is absent from the show tonight, it appears that we have no ring announcer. Frekishi gets a microphone from a stage hand and begins to speak. Frekishi says that it's great to be out in the sun here in Broadlands. He understands that Mr. BIG's house is literally...over there, and it's a fine house. Hell, his house makes HV's house seem like a cardboard box...oh, it is! High Voltage, Biggie hates Frekishi, but Biggie hates High Voltage more than he hates Frekishi. Frekishi reminds HV that he almost ended Biggie's career, but they have both woken up and smelt Grandma's bread in the oven. Frekishi then says "Put this on record...Biggie, NJS, win on Sunday...I want NJS to become the first REAL Full House winner...". Frekishi also managed to speak with Hawke a moment ago and Hawke even spoke with Biggie on this one...whoever loses must NEVER return to the TWF. That's because the last time we had a Loser Leaves TWF match, the loser was back within a week. HV, be ready, for tonight you dance your final dance...with Frekishi! 'Phat Man' hits as Frekishi leaves the ring and walks backstage.
In Mr. BIG's house; Deadman is with Michael King. King begins by congratulating Deadman for becoming WEW World Champion on Sunday. Deadman says it was quite an achievement and he is now a 2-Time WEW World Champion...WOOO! King also asks about how he feels facing The Bandit, JCVS and The Vamp in a Fatal Four Way Steel Cage Match at Summer Break V. Deadman says he is extremely excited and he will prove to everyone that he can kick maximum ass inside or outside a cage!
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles congratulate WEW on a successful return on Sunday, and inform us that WEW has decided to only perform on Sundays on PPV. Which is a bit of a co-incidence, the RWF was bought out by The Shott on Tuesday and may return as early as September!
'Around The World' hits and the crowd cheers as The Protégé makes his way to the ring for this match with Brownie. It has been confirmed that at Summer Break V, the Protégé will take on Blonde Man for the TV Championship.
'Broken' plays and the crowd boos as Brownie makes his way down to the ring, alone, for this match. We are reminded that at Summer Break, Brownie will face Steven Jenkins in a match for the services of Jenkins's long time manager, Hayley Holder.
Protégé and Brownie had a great one-on-one match considering this was their first meeting of possibly many in the future. It was a great match and both men kept each other on their toes and the crowd seemed to be very into the match. It came to an abrupt end when Holly made her way down to the ring. She provided a distraction for the Protégé and Brownie rolled him up, and grabbed a handful of tights! 1-2-3!
Brownie and Holly high-tail it backstage, with Protégé left wondering what the hell happened!

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles remind us that coming up on August 22nd is XCW Sweet Pain 2...so be sure to catch it during the TWF's Summer Break. After Summer Break V, the TWF will return on September 8th for Grit BasH!
"Just-Just-Just Think About It" - the crowd explodes as the lights go off...BAM! "Where's Your Crown...King Nothing?"...'King Nothing' by Metallica blasts over the PA and Mr. BIG slowly walks down to the ring with a massive smile on his face. Biggie then gets a microphone and says that without further adu, he has to introduce our ring announcer for the evening. From Waco, Texas...she's currently appearing in Garfield: The Movie...please welcome Jennifer Love Hewitt! The crowd cheers as Jennifer walks down the ramp and into the ring. Biggie gives her a nice big kiss as she takes her position at ringside. Mr. BIG then says that "Finally, The BIG Storm has come...home!". Biggie tells the crowd that he only lives in a house behind the park and he loves it. But, there's a few things he will love even more. That's tonight, when he watches Frekishi beat High Voltage and gets him out of the TWF for good! Biggie says that Frekishi spoke no shit earlier on. Mr. BIG and Frekishi do not like each other, but, on common ground, they will fight for what they believe in. Which is why, he is in Frekishi's corner. Biggie also says he will not be a lumberjack at ringside. Suddenly, Mr. BIG is interrupted by 'Away From Me' hitting and NJS and Lita walking down to the ring. NJS says that he is sorry to interrupt Biggie, but he will also not be a lumberjack at ringside. NJS says that on Wednesday, they proved a point to the Rogerz. When the chips are down, they make their move. The Z-Pack does not bluff. They are the real deal. NJS is still forever grateful to Biggie...his dream of being, as Frekishi put it earlier on 'the first real Full House winner' may come true. His banner will stand even prouder in the Hall of Fame. Biggie then says that tonight, and at Summer Break...you will FEAR...OUR...FURY! 'King Nothing' hits as Biggie and NJS toast with Cherry Coke, before Biggie calls in JLH. He gives her another kiss and toasts a Cherry Coke with her too. Biggie, NJS and Lita then leave and walk back to Biggie's house.

JCVS is already in the ring and the crowd is ready to cheer on his opponent for the evening. Footage shows of what happened on Fury, when on SDWAS with Mr. Smooth, the Fatal Four Way Cage Match was announced.
'Somewhere I Belong' hits and the capacity crowd rawks loudly as The Bandit walks down to the ring with the TWF Intercontinental Championship. He poses and pyros go off, instead of fireworks, but the crowd still cheers loudly.
These two contested a great technical battle, that didn't last very long though, because The Vamp made his presence felt and attacked both men at ringside. He posed with The Bandit's title belt until Deadman ambushed him from behind and grabbed hold of the belt himself! He passed it back to Bandit to cheers and walked backstage.
Backstage; we are in Hawke's office, which has been set up inside a TWF production truck. JT Money suddenly walks in and Hawke says he has been waiting for JT. Hawke says that he realised that JT has no match for Summer Break V...that's about to change. At Summer Break V, JT Money will face an opponent of Hawke's choosing for the xWa Championship. Hawke informs AJ that his opponent will not currently be in the TWF, however, after Summer Break V, he will be. He is currently in other xWa promotions. JT seems quite happy with his decision and walks out with a smile on his face. JT shuts the door and Hawke lights a candle and brings out a picture of Falcon and stares at it for a while before the camera cuts out.
'Cemetery Gates' by Pantera hits as The Assassin walks out to the ring to cheers. Joey Styles reminds us at Summer Break V, The Assassin will face AJ Jeffers and Hawke in a tag-team match...and The Assassin has a mystery partner that no-one knows about!
'Sexy Boy' by the Air French Band hits and the crowd jeers. "Oh AJ!". AJ walks down to the ring, alone, but looking ready for a good fight here tonight. The lights are being turned on as the sun begins to set on a glorious day in Broadlands.
These two took their hatred to another level here tonight. The match was fast-paced and energetic, with both showcasing their best. This served as a great way to build up experience of each other before they meet up at Summer Break. AJ had victory in the bag after hitting Sweet Shin Music and following it up with the Ice Hotel...1-2-3. The Assassin lay lifeless in the ring when Marz ran down and double-teamed Assassin. With no-one left to help him, Assassin was beaten to a pulp. Marz and AJ posed before walking backstage.
In Mr. BIG's house; Holly is with Michael King. Holly says she wants this interview to be over with quick because she hates standing in Mr. BIG's house. King asks her for opinions on what will happen at Summer Break V. Holly says that she just got back from Hawke's office and she can confirm that at Summer Break V, her elite jocks will participate in an annual festivity here in the TWF...it's been around since the 2nd ever PPV. Say "Welcome back"...SQUARE LADDER MATCH! 4-Teams...3 Losers...2 Titles...1 Winner! Jason and Karl will face xWa Tag Champions BSB and Silver, The AshTaker and Terminator, plus another mystery team at Hawke's distinction. Now, the Jocks will rise to...GLORY!
Backstage; High Voltage is seen walking to ringside for possibly the last time.

'No More Tears' hits as the lumberjacks make their way to the ring. The lumberjacks appear to be The Jocks, Deadman, Steven Jenkins, The Protégé, Blade, Gareth Cole and The Assassin. Backstage; we see Mr. BIG, NJS, Lita, The Bandit and his girlfriend and JT Money watching on TV in Biggie's living room. In Hawke's van, we see Hawke, AJ Jeffers and Marz watching on their own TV Screen.
"I'm a Phat Man...hahahahah!"...'Fhat Man' hits as Frekishi slowly walks down to the ring. He high-fives one fan in the aisle before hitting the ring and looking up at the pink slip. Joey Styles remarks that whatever the outcome, it is the end of an era for one of these men tonight.
"Well...I'm Here!"...the crowd jeers as the pyros go off and 'High Voltage' hits. HV himself walks slowly down to the ring and when he hits ringside, he looks at each of the lumberjacks in turn before eyeing up The Assassin and the match begins.
This match was brutal and you could tell right from the outset that Frekishi was the firm favourite to be fired. HV dominated, but the crowd cheered Frekishi on, despite his storied past. The lumberjacks were called into use a lot, but it made no difference to Frekishi. The Assassin made the biggest impact, hitting the Assassinator on HV on the outside whilst Frekishi was finding a ladder. But the Jocks intervened and HV got back in the ring. However, Frekishi inched closer and closer to the top of the ladder, touching the pink slip, HV managed to push Frekishi off...but Frekishi yanked the pink slip as he fell and kept hold of it!
'Phat Man' hits and HV cannot believe it! He is besides himself. Frekishi has the pink slip as he walks back up the ramp and smiles as he walks back onto the ramp. The crowd begins to sing the Good-bye Song, but HV smiles and grabs a steel chair. But suddenly, Mr. BIG, NJS, The Bandit, JT Money, Lita...Hawke, Marz, AJ Jeffers & The AshTaker and The Terminator all line up on the ramp. They all smile at HV and laugh. This is their last good bye. Mr. BIG nods upward and a picture is shown of HV at Against All Odds 2002, dressed in pink...it says "Thanks High Voltage". The crowd laughs and Mr. BIG has a special can of Cherry Coke painted yellow with 'HV' written in black. He drinks it, and then dumps the can on the floor, crushes it, and throws it in a garbage can by the ramp. HV is gone from the TWF! HV is still angry and in the ring as the show comes to a close.
