TWF News and Rumours ver2
14th Aug, 2004 at 1:14pm
There are no actions to perform.
Since the last thread was vandalised by former TWF Superstar, High Voltage, I have decided to open a new thread.

-- The TWF is tremendously excited about Summer Break. The talent are excited to be performing at the biggest event of the year, and although many are saying that the show could top last year's event, wrestlers are trying not to be too serious.

-- TWF Arena has been sold out for many months and the TWF is pretty hopeful that it will break the current attendance record of 30,285 that was set at WrestleMANIA II on May 27th 2001. Mr. BIG has said that he will enjoy the experience of the TWF Arena because "it's a lot smaller than the stadiums and domes of the last two years. It will come as a bit of a shock for the guys who didn't wrestle at the MGM Grande Garden Summer Breaks, but arenas usually have better atmosphere and will give better shows.

-- The TWF will also introduce the HDTV TotalTron's to the world at Summer Break. By September, XCW will hope to use them.

-- Due to technical difficulties, Grit BasH and Fury were not aired this week. In any event...FREKISHI will face Marz this Sunday having eliminated AJ Jeffers last, through the help of The Assassin in a 10-man Battle Royal.

-- The TWF has confirmed that High Voltage's biography will be COMPLETELY removed from the TWF Web. This is the first time in the history of the site that a superstar's biography will be completely removed. Some links to Marz's biography were deleted, but not them all.

-- In interviews in the press this weekend, almost every TWF superstar has slated High Voltage's comments on this site. NJS, whilst being interviewed on Radio 1 on Saturday afternoon said "HV has really proven to me that he was what Marz always said he was...a downright asshole".
* The Bandit, speaking on the phone from his home in Elgin, Illinois on The Zone in Chicago said that HV's acts were "despicable" and of "the lowest order imaginable".
* The Protégé was told about the incident by the press when he was interviewed in a massive frenzy outside his home. Having dated Sarah, he said "it's not surprising he has said what he has said. But I think he will not like the consequences of his actions. [Biggie] is a top bloke, but no one will stand comments like that". Protégé's girlfriend, Orlando-based Holly was with him at the time and her comments were loud and clear. "Me and [Biggie] have never got along, but what that asshole [High Voltage] said is insane and he will get his deserts".
* Mr. BIG has yet to comment, but may do so when he is a guest on xWa SnL tonight on the xWn.

-- The TWF have begun announcing the changes to the promotion. The first of which is perhaps no surprise. September's PPV, usually titled 'King of the Ring' has been renamed 'Eve of Destruction'. The event will still take place at the Cefn Cribwr Community Centre, and the King of the Ring event will still be held.

-- Speaking of which, also confirmed was that the King of the Ring match will be a unique Battle Royal Rumble. 8 men will begin the match and once we are down to 2, a normal match will begin. The winner of that match will be crowned TWF King of the Ring 2004.

-- Also, the King of XtreMe match will return. No word on whether JT Money will defend his title, which he won last year in a vicious match.

-- Hades and J-Fox will also debut shortly after Summer Break. J-Fox is said to be extremely excited to be a part of the TWF, having been in XCW and WEW. He is expected to be involved in a major storyline when he arrives.

-- Hades, on the other hand, will take a 'Fallen Angel' meets Brock Lesnar-style gimmick. Hades's size has seen him likened to Brock Lesnar, but the name demands a kind of darkside to him. No word on whether he will be a member of the Jocks though.

There are no actions to perform.
-- With Summer Break underway, the biggest story going into it is of course, High Voltage's antics over the past week. That was the main discussion of the day as wrestlers arrived earlier than normal to begin the PPV.

-- The pre-show meeting took place in TWF Towers. Mr. BIG thanked talent for showing up and said that the meeting would be short and sweet. Wrestle your arses off, and go home and have a rest.

-- Mr. BIG also responded to High Voltage's comments on an interview on xWa SnL, which came live from the TWF Arena last night. Michael King conducted the interview, and many said that Biggie was on fire, and was full of anger and rage towards HV. Biggie's best quote was "he called me childish. What kind of dumbass then goes ahead and says I'm a gay and that I'm a scaredy cat. I mean, he's really asking for it now". Biggie also revealed that he was treated for a knee strain on Saturday which he got wrestling on Wednesday at Grit BasH. Biggie also said that he had has an infection around his left elbow. He said that he is now fine and will wrestle at Summer Break regardless.

-- TWF wrestlers were also pleased that XCW will be having a break following Sweet Pain. Many were said to be happy to have a chance to re-charge their batteries fully by having not to wrestle.

-- Following Summer Break, the TWF will be making announcements frequently about TV shows, websites, superstars, staff etc. These announcements will be made right here. The major news will be on Fridays, followed by an in-depth announcement on the Saturday at the TWF Web.

-- Also, on Tuesday, many TWF wrestlers are expected to be at iKON in Bridgend for the usual party night. However, the twist is that High Voltage's "girlfriend" Sarah, will be present, as will Mr. BIG and his sister AKK. In other words, they maybe ructions. We will give you news on that on Wednesday.

-- Mr. BIG, during his Summer Break, has stated that he intends taking his foot off the gas and may go to Dubai to rest. NJS and Lita expect to sort out their home, whilst Frekishi is set to be racing at motor racing circuits up and down Britain.

There are no actions to perform.
I've actually written more than I thought I had for Summer Break, so I might get on to finishing it off this weekend, ready to be posted on Sunday or Monday. In the meantime, here's some quick tidbits for you.

-- The real reason that the WWE is moving RAW from Friday Night to Thursday Night's in the UK because since March, following WrestleMania XX, the WWE's ratings have not been anything near the TWF's on RAW or FURY. Sky Sports decided to move it to Thursday night and a slot following XCW Xcess. When the news was discovered at TWF Towers, the following day staff were all smiling.

-- The TWF has confirmed that next year Easter HeAT and No Way BacK will swap months due to Easter falling in March next year. Easter HeAT takes place March 27th 2005, whilst No Way BacK will now take place on April 17th.

-- It was widely speculated that Hades would be present at Summer Break. The TWF however confirmed Hades was present backstage, but did not make an appearance in the TWF Arena during the show.

-- Blonde Man, Brownie, Deadman and J-Fox all arrived at the show early and it appears that they have formed a clique of some kind. This will be interesting to see in the coming months when J-Fox finds himself on the TWF roster, as well as the WEW and XCW roster. Deadman recently negotiated the deal which saw Team EV debut in WEW.

-- Whilst in the US, following their appearances at HDW's amazing 'Golden Contender' PPV, Mr. BIG, Bandit, JT Money and HDW's Ottobomb were seen scouting some shows in the Chicago-Detroit-Milwaukee area.

-- Mr. BIG confirmed in an interview on the Monday following Summer Break that the TWF have offered contracts to 'Disturbed', a light-heavyweight technical wrestler; 'Echo', a female wrestler who has been compared to Lita; and 'Zero', who looks a lot like rapper Eminem, but his wrestling style is a varied one. Should they accept their contracts, they will join BCW in September and depending on their progress, they will be in the TWF by September 2005.

-- As some TWF careers are beginning, others may end. The Vamp's contract negotiations came to a halt at Summer Break V, when he announced that he is considering retirement. His contract runs out around Christmas time. Should he leave, it is expected that 'The Mangler' Gaz Cole follows him out the door as well. JCVS may also join them.

-- AJ Jeffers has signed a 2-year extension to his deal, which sees him through until September 2006. Atomically Kool Kat has signed a shorter extension of just 7 months and will run out the day after Easter HeAT next year. Libra has signed a 1-year deal also.

There are no actions to perform.
-- The TWF confirmed today that they are working with the staff of Universal Resort Orlando on the set for this year's Halloween Hell, which takes place on Halloween Sunday. The TWF wants something extra special and extra scarey for the event and they have consulted the team behind Halloween Horror Nights for ideas.

-- The TWF also confirmed that the xWa vs. NWA show is set to take place on November 24th 2004 at the NWA-TNA Asylum in Nashville, TN. TNA have agreed to use tha 4-sided ring for the event, although some xWa Superstars have said that they would like to work in the 6-sided ring.

There are no actions to perform.
Been a while since I last did one of these!

-- Grit BasH was a very successful, despite there only being 2 matches. The crowd was very happy for the show to even take place after the summer break went on for what seemed like an eternity.

-- JCVS has been ruled out for around 4-5 weeks after wrestling a match in BCW with The Vamp on Wednesday, where the ending went pear shaped. Vamp was supposed to hit JC with a chair on the shoulder, but hit him slightly lower and with more force. JC has been in tremendous pain and has yet to see a doctor, but Mr. BIG has told him to rest for that amount of time since Mr. BIG did so when he injured his shoulder.

-- Marz has also been ruled out of TWF action for a while. Marz was present at FURY and whilst NJS was discussing some things with Road Agents, Biggie approached Marz and Biggie wondered why Marz didn't bring his wrestling gear, despite the fact he wasn't supposed to wrestle. The exact nature of what was said has been kept confidential, but despite sounding very serious, doctors say they are 95% certain of what the problem is. The only hint we can drop is that it is to do with a problem with Marz's chest.

-- Frekishi and High Voltage have been at each other's throats once more. HV and Frekishi were seen hanging around in the usual clique that travels on Friday, and despite HV leaving the company, he was still full of insults to Frekishi and Biggie. Eventually, Biggie managed to calm both of them down and there is still some anger between them.

-- Blood Brother Matthew's appearance at Grit BasH was not scripted. The TWF in conducting an inquiry into how he got in. Apparently, he managed to get a ticket and simply leapt over the guard rail. No word on whether the TWF will take any further action. If they do, it is probable that the TWF will seek to have a restraining order placed on Jones.

-- However, the change has already meant a change in TWF policy. From now one, every TWF ticketholder will be asked for some form of ID (passport, driving licence etc.) for prove of identity.

-- Dave Mustaine, who is appearing on Bruce Dickinson's show on BBC Radio 6 tomorrow night, will confirm on the show whether Megadeth will be at the Eve of Destruction. If so, the TWF has asked them to play "Die Dead Enough", "Blackmail The Universe" and one other song of theirs..."Symphony of Destruction" for Adam Taylor seems a likely choice.

-- The TWF today got some new music editing software and already, we can confirm that Mr. BIG and Deadman will have some different sounding themes on FURY. The software has finally enabled the TWF to get the entrances they want.

-- Since we last posted, TWF superstars have appeared in many magazine articles. Here is just a taster of some of them.
* The Bandit appeared in Rolling Stone's September edition and discussed his career in a two-page spread. Reaction to the article was very positive.
* Mr. BIG and his brother, Mr. Edwards, appeared in October's BBC Top Gear Magazine in a lengthy article entitled "Brothers of...Car-nage". Mr. Edwards showed off his black BMW 318i Saloon, whilst Mr. BIG brought his fleet...a Porsche 911, Aston Martin DB7 Vantage and the pride of the fleet, the Ferrari 360 Spider. Biggie also revealed he is intending on getting the new Ferrari F430, which he describes as "the best Ferrari he's seen since the 612", which was Ferrari's last car.
* NJS appeared in TV & Satellite Week's Sport section, hyping up the xWa and the return of each promotion within the next couple of weeks.
* Frekishi was featured in a poll entitled "Top 10 Most Hated Men in Sport" and was at #4. David Beckham topped the poll.
* Marz was also interviewed for Total Drummer magazine, but, the new edition to that magazine has not yet been previewed.

There are no actions to perform.
-- The reason for the lack of TWF scheduled shows is to due to lack of time on the results writer's parts. They feel that the Summer Break did end up being too long and ate into time that could have been hyping up the PPV. For that reason, despite the two big matches on the card, Eve of Destruction is expected to put up flimsy numbers.

-- TNA's ad for Victory Road 04 during Grit BasH has confirmed that the TWF has set up some kind of affilation with the promotion. However, the TWF has confirmed that due to TNA's current situation, the xWa vs. NWA show scheduled to take place in late November has been cancelled. An announcement is expected at xWa Xtreme Overload weekend in October.

-- Also, news has been hotting up over the last couple of days as to the TWF's show in Dubai, scheduled for mid-July 2005. Apparently, Sheikh Maktoum of Dubai is so pleased with the TWF's involvement in the city, he would like the event brought forward so it can take placing during Dubai's annual Shopping Festival, which attracts millions of tourists in any event. The TWF is seriously considering the idea, but the TWF understands that the event must begin before 6pm and not disrupt any prayer times for the Dubai people.

-- NJS is said to be "extremely excited" about the show in Dubai and has been told lots of great things about the city by Mr. BIG. The TWF plans to confirm that the week before the event, the TWF will not hold any events outside Dubai.

-- High Voltage was seen around TWF Towers this week, demanding to know the exact cause of Marz's injury. He stormed into Mr. BIG's office and demanded Biggie tell him, but Biggie refused, and it was The Shott who eventually told him and High Voltage was heard saying "I hope the fucker dies of it". He was promptly removed from TWF Towers by security afterward.

-- Again, Blood Brother Matthew was quoted in the press as saying that his intervention in Grit BasH a week ago was "a victory for those who hate BIGhead and all his prophecies". Mr. BIG has responded by saying "anything he says comes out of his ass...he's so far up it anyway".

-- The Rogerz not expected to hang around the TWF much longer after their current run. Crash Rogerz has been working in architecture and has been helping Marz with some of his work, whilst Hardkore has signed up for the Army.

-- The Shott has told sources backstage that he was a little disappointed to get such a minor role at Eve of Destruction. His participation in the King of the Ring match angered him because he feels he will not win the match.

-- Dave Mustaine confirmed on Bruce Dickinson's show last week that although Megadeth will not be at Eve of Destruction, he is delighted that the TWF has honoured Megadeth by using 'Die Dead Enough' as the theme song for Eve of Destruction.

-- Finally, The Protégé and Holly had an argument this week, but the couple patched things up with NJS's help and are now planning to move in together. Hades and Mr. BIG's ex, Amy, have apparently broken things off and Amy is wanting to return to Biggie. Meanwhile, High Voltage and Sarah have broke things off, and when he did so, he asked the TWF if he could return. The TWF reminded him of what he said about them and said "uh...the jobs where you last said it was, up your ass".

There are no actions to perform.
-- In one thing that managed to shock a lot of people on Friday, Crash Rogerz appeared to return to BCW with his girlfriend and looked very busy. Mr. BIG was very surprised at his appearance as it was thought that after Eve of Destruction, the Rogerz would leave the TWF to further careers in their chosen fields. On further investigation, it appears the angle with Holly could continue for some time.

-- Many TWF wrestlers appear to have forgotten xWa Xtreme Intentions on October 9th, but it is within good reason. Xtreme Intentions will be the first xWa show in the history of the xWa where each promotion will have 2 matches. However, it has been speculated that the challengers of xWa Tag-Team and xWa Championships will be arranged in special inter-promotional matches on different shows in the coming weeks.

-- Marz has still not been cleared to wrestle just yet, but he is expected to return to action within a week or so, having been cleared of any injury.

-- High Voltage angered TWF and XCW Road Agents on Thursday and Friday by entering conversations Mr. BIG, NJS, Terminator and road agents were having. HV was then going on about how he is constantly being followed by other people when Biggie turned to NJS and said "He's got to be on dope...that's exactly what he's been doing to us!". Mr. BIG will address the situation shortly.

-- Frekishi also managed to anger road agents on Friday by starting an argument between himself and Biggie. Biggie backed down and simply continued about his regular business.

-- Hades's debut at Eve of Destruction was the event's highlight, but writers are unsure as to how he will figure in the next few weeks of TWF programming. He is expected to be involved in a program with the Jocks, perhaps, but nothing is final yet.

-- The Shott has been adding more and more responsibility in his backstage roles. This week he held a meeting with selected talent about improving matches which went down very well.

There are no actions to perform.
-- The situation with High Voltage at Grit BasH was completely unscripted and unscheduled. Because it happened, the TWF took the ball and ran with it, and in the end, it was one of the best parts of the show.

-- High Voltage has also been reminded that if he shows up to TWF events, he will be prosecuted. The TWF is now getting very serious on the matter, and the new security is doing very well at the moment to keep more run-ins from happening.

-- NJS was very vocal with delight at the way he and Mr. BIG were booked at Grit BasH. It is rare for NJS to show such emotion backstage at a TWF event, but he was elated with what happened.

-- NJS has begun telling friends backstage that when Lita has his child, he would like to have around 2 months off to be with his new child.

-- Frekishi and The Shott were close to having their contracts terminated today, for not showing up at Grit BasH, despite being asked to attend the event. Both have said that they had other commitments, but have sworn they will be at FURY, or else. Besides that, both irritated Mr. BIG today and as a result, were asked to leave TWF Towers. Could these two huge stars be the first casualties of the revolution?

-- Hades's impact on the TWF has yet to be felt, but already, people feel that Hades could be the TWF's biggest star in years to come. With High Voltage gone, and Frekishi & The Shott possibly following, Hades could step up to the Main Event soon, with a real lack of Star Main Eventers in the TWF.

-- For those wondering where The Bandit and JT Money are at the moment, they are back in the US, organising the XWF for a stable couple of months. They will, however, return shortly. But, the TWF writers are unsure to portray them as faces or heels, since their turn in the XWF. If they do show up as heels, they may begin a program with the Z-Pack.

-- The Jocks are very happy with the way that they have been treated recently, both on and off-screen. The Red Hoodie Crew however have been less than pleased because of the lack of air-time. The TWF is considering offering them rolling part-time contracts, because they all have other interests outside of wrestling.

-- "The Allied Powers" of Blade, J-Fox, Deadman, Protégé and Steven Jenkins is not an official stable yet. The TWF is unsure as to group them officially yet because they are all very good singles wrestlers and a stable gimmick could kill heat, particularly Deadman and Protégé, the two champions within the group at the moment.

-- The TWF was very pleased with XCW's Take No Prisoners show, with the exception of Deadman's angle. The TWF has joined XCW in giving vocal dis-pleasure to WEW about their handling of the angle. WEW has failed to comment, but Deadman is said to be more happy with WEW than others at the moment.

-- Halloween Hell is set to have the most extravagant set design in TWF history. As reported in an earlier report, the TWF production team have been working with the team behind Universal's Halloween Horror Nights to create a set to "shock" the viewers. From early designs, we have been informed that a Tombstone will act as the main TotalTron, with surreal Christian crosses wrapped in barbed wire, and electricity style lights running up and down the ramp.

-- 'Redefine' by SOiL has been confirmed as being Halloween Hell's theme song. 'Rock & Roll Revolution' by Saliva has also been announced as being the theme for xWa Xtreme Intentions 2 on October 9th.

There are no actions to perform.
-- Mr. BIG was apparently very depressed on Friday, hence his really bad feelings on FURY, which was not shown due to technical hitches. The show is now intended to go out as Grit BasH, leaving the TWF one episode to plan for xWa Xtreme Intentions. The TWF is now expected to use the season premiere of WarZone tonight as an excuse to introduce their plans for the event on Sunday.

-- The XWF may not be present at the event because of the current situation surrounding their championships, leaving 3 of the 4 active xWa Promotions to take part.

-- Supposedly; Amy, The Fox, Mr. BIG and Gaz 'The Rock' Fox are all having parties on Saturday to celebrate their birthday, which each fall this week. Mr. BIG's party is apparently the must invite one. His ex, Amy, is not expected to be present and has apparently re-started with old flame Hades. These parties will probably take place following Xtreme Intentions in London.

-- On to TWF wrestling news, and The Shott has been arguing with just about everyone lately. Many say that Shott is beginning to break away from Marz and have his own opinion, which has surprised just about everyone. Some people have complained to Upper Management, but Mr. BIG has shot any ideas of action down, stating that The Shott has finally broken out of a cocoon and needs time and space to adjust to his new surroundings.

-- Following the memorable incident on Grit BasH, The Assassin was considering challenging High Voltage to a match at Halloween Hell. Assassin even went as far as telling the writing staff so, but, Mr. BIG at the Writer's Meeting today shot the idea down, saying "If High Voltage, a man who hates this company so much, gets free reign as if he were an employee, he is bound to screw everything up. It's too much of a risk. He could not just destroy matches but the set. Sure, people will be shocked, but he's gonna fuck everything right up. And we can't afford that so soon after the greatest PPV in our history".

-- Summer Break V has officially taken over from Summer Break 2003 as being the greatest PPV of all time. Although it did not have the higher attendance of the two, many felt this years card was stronger than last year's, and that was proved when pre-orders and subsequently sales of the VHS and DVD of the event shot through the roof and surpassed the TWF's expectations.

-- There have been rumours flying around that the TWF is interested in getting Metallica to perform at Dangerously Serious. The TWF has nixed the rumour, stating that although Metallica would love to perform, they would not enjoy a plane ride right after a gig in San Antonio, TX to Orlando, FL only to board another plane back to Salt Lake City, UT where they play on Monday. Rumours then began that Megadeth would perform, but again, they are on tour and it would be expensive and impractical for anything to happen.

-- NJS is not expected to be on TV this week because he wants to attend clinics with his wife Lita, who is pregnant with his child. There has been a little confusion though because some people refuse to believe that the angle is real. We can confirm it is and Lita will be taking the usual amount of maternity leave. There is an increasing possibility that she actually will not return to the company following the child's birth. NJS is said not to be fussed about the baby's gender.

-- When NJS told best buddy Mr. BIG he was going to become a father, Mr. BIG went out and bought his best friend a Carolina Hurricanes Jersey with a twist, he got Captain Ron Francis to sign it...this was during the Summer Break and Biggie visited Team USA and Team Canada's World Cup of Hockey training camps. Biggie then went out and bought the new child a wonderful new cot and a fantastic bed light. This left Biggie wondering whether to start a family, but Biggie has admitted in a recent interview with Wrestle-Zone.com that he is more concerned with business than anything else.

-- NJS will actually be a guest on Chris Moyles's Breakfast Show on Radio 1 and we will have a report after Grit BasH. Also, Mr. BIG will be on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross once more. The Bandit may also appear on the Late Show with David Letterman at some point this week.

-- Bandit and JT Money have opted to meet up with the TWF on Friday in London so they don't have a long drive back to Wales for a show. Chicago O'Haire Airport does not have any flights serving Cardiff International and it therefore made sense for them to meet up with the TWF in London...which has been shunned by the WWE for their shows this week in the country. Of course...the WWE visits Wales for the very first time on Sunday at the CIA.

There are no actions to perform.
-- "Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't there" has become the unofficial backstage motto for the TWF in the past week or so. In a week that was supposed to be full of promise with the season premieres of Grit BasH and FURY, it has been pushed back due to Xtreme Intentions 2. Admittedly, this is nothing to do with the TWF, XCW or XWF at the moment, but it has altered the TWF's plans for the next few weeks.

-- Many people are growing increasingly concerned with Mr. BIG's feelings at the moment. Biggie continues to put 100% into the TWF and everyone says that is not the problem. With a lot of illnesses and a lot of problems, his personal life is beginning to take it's toll. Some say Biggie was close to walking out and retiring at one point. NJS cited "women trouble" as being Biggie's major concern, saying "Biggie knows all the hot chicks he really likes them, but they seem not to like him in return". Mick Foley has offered wise words of encouragement, saying it took him years to meet his wife Colette, and they have been happily married for almost 14 years and have children.

-- Atomically Kool Kat and Stephen Dimmock's TWF appearances will get shorter and shorter in the near future. AKK has decided to concentrate on her artwork and hopes to get an exhibition in the Welsh Gallery or National Museum in 2005. Stephen Dimmock has been doing a lot of Youth Focus work and there is constant talk that he has only a few dates left to work before he 'leaves' the company.

-- In fact, a lot of the TWF wrestling fraternity has been discussing the future in the past few weeks. Many are already contemplating life beyond the promotion, although every wrestler has at least 6 months to work. Mr. BIG has informed wrestlers time and again that the TWF will only close when the concept has run it's course, and constantly reminds people "we weren't expected to last 5 minutes, and now 5 years later, we are still standing". He often makes reference to having gone through "problems, hell, heaven and NCW" to stand where we are and that he doesn't want the company to die "and roll over, just like NCW did".

-- Deadman is growing increasingly frustrated with his treatment backstage, but it appears not to be the TWF's problem. It all began when Deadman didn't inform the TWF of his injury angle he was playing out in WEW, and infuriated the TWF a little more when WEW's Xtreme Intentions matches were booked a day before the show, when TWF, XCW and XWF at least knew by Wednesday what matches were due to take place. Deadman has threatened to walk out if the situation does not improve, but road agents say it is more fool him because the Allied Powers vs. Jocks program is one of the strongest on TWF TV at the moment.

-- We have been told that Protégé and Holly have split up, and now Holly is back with old flame Jason Davies of The Jocks. Protégé has said to be enjoying freedom and was seen partying during xWa Xtreme Intentions weekend.

-- Speaking of which, the parties which took place following the event were the hottest ticket in town. It appeared that Mr. BIG had the pick of the events though, with his and The Fox's parties merged into one. Rachel Stevens, Elisha Cuthbert and Jennifer Love Hewitt all arrived together in a stretch Hummer and many more celebrities were present. Amy, Mr. BIG's ex who has now re-started dating Hades, opted for a 'quiet' party in a Bridgend pub on Friday night. Hades was present, as was former TWF valet, Sarah T.

-- One of the best incidents of the week, however, occured when Mr. BIG was a guest presenter of Real Radio's 'Real Sports Phone In', a show he has been on many times before. One caller rang the show up, calling Mr. BIG a "bighead" and claiming "his ego sunk the TWF dead in the water". Mr. BIG replied by saying "OK bigshot, you say I'm a bigshot when you ring up a well known regional sports phone in programme and tell ME that I sunk the TWF? Listen to me, we sell out arenas in Europe and the USA. Next year, we are going to Canada and Dubai. Our showcase PPV pulled in twice the numbers expected and may win a National TV Award for Best Sports Presentation. So, uh, I have a reason to be cocky". The caller stayed silent and hung up, with the co-presenter's commenting on the TWF's astonishing success.

-- Biggie also dropped a huge bombshell when he informed us that the TWF has begun negotiations to tour Canada next year. It is expected that the TWF tours around May-June and spends time in the Great Lakes area, such as Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, before going north to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary and Edmonton.

-- The biggest piece of news to come out of Xtreme Intentions 2 was that the TWF Dubai event has been confirmed. It will be called 'Bash At The Beach' and the location will be just south of the Burj Al Arab and the Jumeriah Palm on Jumeriah Beach. There is talk of having the event on the Palm itself, but no one is sure if it will be ready in time. Why? The event has been pushed forward to coincide with Dubai Shopping Festival in February-March 2005. The only confusion, it seems will be that the TWF is holding the event on a Sunday, which for many Middle Eastern countries, is the equivalent of a "western" Tuesday. The TWF is considering pushing the event forward to a Friday, which is a Sunday on their calendars.

-- We will have more news from Xtreme Intentions on our next update.

TWF News and Rumours 2004 ver2 XII
There are no actions to perform.
-- Rumours about Frekishi and The Shott have once more appeared. Apparently, neither was at FURY because of their actions during the week. They appear to be causing a lot of controversy backstage among wrestlers and staff alike.

-- According to sources, this regards series and series of incidents, including last weekend when Mr. BIG, NJS, High Voltage, AJ Jeffers, some XCW Road Agents and Frekishi and The Shott were at Bowlers, where Frekishi and Shott managed to anger just about everyone else. Besides Biggie and NJS, everyone managed to irritate each other in one way or another.

-- The TWF is unsure as to a course of action because of their status as Main Eventers and carrying the main singles feud of the moment. If anything does happen, expect it to do so at Dangerously Serious.

-- Mastermind has apparently been a breath of fresh air backstage. He has not been afraid to speak his mind and because of his relationship with the XWF old boys (Biggie, Bandit, BSB, Silver, JT Money, Ottobomb) he has been allowed to do a lot. He could even get in the TWF title picture soon.

-- There is no indication as to whom will get the TWF Women's Championship at Halloween Hell, because the tournament is extremely open with the 4 ladies left. Libra has been placed as an early favourite.

-- The rumours about The Shott being offered an XCW contract have been met with a mixed reaction backstage. Some see this is the final step of him pulling out of Marz's shadow, but many feel that the Shott is starting to compare XCW to the RWF, but as many workers who have worked all three companies will tell you (Mr. BIG, JCVS, Frekishi etc.), XCW is a far superior company and The Shott may find it difficult to cope with an increased schedule.

-- Although Deadman has angered many members of upper management recently, he has began to realise the consequences of his actions, and although there has been no real apology, he seems to be very certain what happened will never happen again.

-- There was increasing talk this week between various backstage sources that Holly has been causing some friction between many wrestlers. She tends to travel with The Jocks and also with NJS and Deadman's sisters, but in doing so has angered Mr. BIG's sister, Atomically Kool Kat, who has the support of just about everyone else on the roster.

-- Also this week, Mr. BIG and Matthew Jones, formerly known as Blood Brother Matthew were seen conversing. Matthew is apparently desperate to get back into the TWF, but Biggie has refused to forget his actions and apparently if Jones wants to get back in, he must do some hard bargaining to do so.

-- The TWF has apparently managed to get KoRn to perform at Dangerously Serious, and the first release from their Greatest Hits album, "Word Up" is expected to be the Theme Song. Jimmy Eat World or Papa Roach's newest tracks are in the running to be the PayBack theme song.

There are no actions to perform.
[Quick note, Halloween Hell should be up on Tuesday. There probably won't be any results in-between that and Dangerously Serious due to revision and all, but Dangerously Serious WILL be up within 2 weeks]

-- Due to technical issues amongst other things, the TWF has yet to broadcast since Halloween Hell. The TWF has now resolved the issue and normal service will resume within the next few weeks.

-- Frekishi and The Shott have come closer than ever to having their contracts terminated in the past few weeks. The Shott has been telling some harsh jokes without substance about Mr. BIG and also been spreading lots of rumours around the locker room which are all lies. One source said "Shott is very lucky because when Marz was doing this sort of stuff he got fired pretty soon afterward". As for Frekishi, when he gets out of the wrong side of the bed, he makes sure everyone knows about it.

-- On Wednesday and Thursday this week there were very strong rumours that Mr. BIG was ready to announce his resignation as TWF CEO and he was closing the TWF. This was mainly due to technical discussions he had with the TWF Board which were not going too well. However, on Friday, the issues were resolved and Biggie is now 100%.

-- After Halloween Hell; SIN and NJS will all be taking extended leaves of absence. NJS will be off for around 6 weeks, treating his wife Lita to some holidays prior to her pregnancy. First on the list is Paris, followed by Rome, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam, Moscow then Barcelona and Madrid.

-- High Voltage contacted the TWF on Thursday asking that if the rumours of Frekishi leaving are true, if he could return. Mr. BIG seriously considered the offer for about 5 minutes, before he convinced himself that this would be a very bad move on the TWF's part and the fan's faith in the company will be at an all time low.

-- There was also a VERY strong rumour that Blood Brother Matthew would return to the TWF after he was spotted kissing Atomically Kool Kat. Some felt that was a move for him to get in Mr. BIG's good books, which has since backfired because he has been seen with other girls.

-- The TWF has been scouting talent once more. In the new year, the TWF may debut talent from the FWA Academy, such as Max Voltage, who looks to be one of the most exciting prospects in the Academy. Echo, Disturbed and co. are also making progress and their debuts could come a lot sooner.

More to come soon.

There are no actions to perform.
-- The TWF has decided to re-introduce an old policy of releasing PPV buyrates and attendances. This begun at Halloween Hell. Reports suggest the show got a 1.05 buyrate in the UK, around a 0.4 in the US and 0.2 in Germany. The TWF is particularly pleased with the German buyrate as the carriage deal for that was done around a week before the show and got pretty much no promotion.

-- The attendance at the Brackla Community Centre was around 9,500 although an exact number has yet to be confirmed. This was another strong showing in one of the smaller venues in Brackla. The crowd was also very strong and vocal all night, although there were no reports of trouble.

-- There was a HUGE backstage altercation between Blade and some "fans" on Thursday at the Brynteg Arena base for BCW, the TWF's development federation. In fairness to the fans, Blade did provoke them but Blade threatened with punches to met with more "fans". The scene was attempted to be stopped by High Voltage, who was there with Blade and by The Shott. But even then nothing much happened until Mr. BIG showed up and finally settled the argument.

-- The introduction of Mr. Edwards's secretary, Louise at Halloween Hell was a very controversial one backstage. Louise is a very good friend with a lot of people in the back and when she said she was interested in a job, Blood Brother Matthew suggested she goes for one on TV. Eventually, she managed to persuade the writers into an angle with Mr. BIG, but Mr. BIG, who along with NJS gets along well with Louise objected saying that in the past couple of years he has had angles with women, they have been subject to huge scope from fans and the press.

-- The TWF was also badly slated in this week's local press, who said that both the TWF and XCW were "letting down" Bridgend by going to America on tour this week. The TWF is expected to file a response this week. The press's stance on the TWF has changed dramatically from when 2 years ago they were happy to offer tickets to PPVs for competition winners to this. One of Mr. BIG, Mr. Edwards and AKK's father's life-long friends actually works as a photographer for a newspaper ran by the same company but in a different area, and his sister works for the Bridgend paper.

-- Frekishi and The Shott continue to be two of the most talked about superstars behind closed doors. Although the TWF knows it would be a major mistake to let them go, as The Shott would again consider suing the TWF for the RWF-fiasco, the Board of Directors has conceded that some of the things they have been saying have been out of line and they need to know that their actions cannot be comprehended.

-- Now that NJS is out for a while, at least until PayBack, Mr. BIG will embark on singles feuds whilst still defending the TWF Tag-Team Championship. The TWF's defense rule is for 40 not 30 days and NJS is away with his wife Lita as she prepares to give birth to NJS's child.

-- This week, Mr. BIG gave an interview to Nuts, the men's lifestyle magazine. Biggie said that at the moment one of his biggest problems is women. Biggie was quick to get rid of speculation that women are chasing him and it's usually the other way around. Mr. BIG also said that his band are also doing very well and it is unlikely that it will take anything away from his wrestling career, which will always come first.

There are no actions to perform.
-- Many people are surprised at the amazing turnaround the TWF gave from not having a show in almost a month to having two excellent shows posted in a few weeks. FURY is possible this week, but Grit BasH and FURY next week are all but confirmed.

-- Mastermind's title victory went down with mixed emotions backstage. Many feel that the victory signals the end of an era where you're relationships got you victories. Now, it appears the TWF's revolution has finally begun. Mastermind's reign could make or break the TWF going into it's 5th year. If the TWF succeeds, the promotion will be remembered for even longer. If it fails...everyone will know about it.

-- Mr. BIG and Louise have got along great backstage, particularly since Dangerously Serious they have been seen frequently discussing events and so on. This is not a relationship, for as Biggie has said recently "Women are not my #1 priority. Some have treated me awfully and I don't want to be a broken man once more".

-- On Thursday, there was a HUGE talent meeting to organise the TWF Christmas party, that was chaired by Falcon. Many said the meeting was pure anarchy until Mr. BIG, uncharacteristically turned up late. He managed to get the meeting in control until Road Agents arrived and spoke on behalf of the organisers.

-- Recently, more and more backstage are beginning to see the hard work Biggie is putting in. Many of his former enemies backstage, such as Blood Brother Matthew, Jason Davies et al are beginning to respect him for what he does. However, by the same token, Frekishi and The Shott are accusing Mr. BIG of selling out. Although Biggie still travels with NJS and Lita, he now travels with AJ Jeffers and Louise, leaving Frekishi to travel with Terminator and The Shott. This is beginning to form the reason behind Frekishi and The Shott's brushes with management lately.

-- This hatred some of the locker room has toward Biggie is carrying over to his sister, Atomically Kool Kat, whom many blame has aided Biggie in his new lifestyle. Frekishi was even quoted as saying "Biggie isn't even straight edge any more", making a reference to the Straight Edge lifestyle of being Alcohol and Drug free that Mr. BIG now lives having met CM Punk this summer.

-- There have been serious discussions backstage about whether the TWF will hold a House of Pain match at PayBacK. Mr. BIG has questioned the use of the match at PayBack, saying Mastermind should be given time to build up his character before defending in such a match. Biggie also said that to make up for it, the House of Pain structure is that of the Rage in the Double Cage anyway, and the TWF will make up for no House of Pain match in 2004 by saying that the Rage in the Double Cage match took place this year. However, the House of Pain will make an appearance in 2005 at some stage.

-- Team EV are apparently in-line for a DVD release soon highlighting their greatest moments. At the moment, the TWF Hall of Fame DVD Boxset is the highest selling DVD, with Summer Break V just behind.

-- The Bandit and JT Money will make returns to the TWF shortly after sorting out Visas and work permits for the TWF in the UK. They were due to work in the UK but the Floridian hurricanes delayed them as they tried unsuccessfully to get flights out of the US and their Visas expired.

-- NJS will also make a return soon, most likely at PayBack. In what capacity he will return is unknown, but he is expected to be defending his TWF Tag-Team Championship with Mr. BIG soon.

There are no actions to perform.
-- The TWF has announced today the buyrates and attendances for Dangerously Serious. The TD Waterhouse Centre said it had announced attendance at being 15,302 which is another excellent gate for the TWF in the US. In the UK, the numbers were slightly up from Halloween Hell, getting a 1.08 buyrate, up by 0.03 points from Halloween Hell. In the US, it scored a good 0.5, Germany's buyrate equalled the US and Canada, which like Germany for Halloween Hell had a carriage deal arranged at the last minute, still scored a respectable 0.1.

-- BSkyB, the company that owns Sky Digital and runs Sky Sports in the UK recently announced a deal with WWE to start showing RAW on Wednesdays at 9pm on Sky Sports 1 starting in January. The TWF is reportedly irate that Sky have ditched them for the big money of the WWE rather than the exposure they get from UK wrestling. The TWF has now decided that all Sky-related programming will have their last airing w/b 20/12/04 and the TWF will debut Grit BasH on the xWn on January 12th 2005.

-- As far as WarZone and the repeat editions of Meltdown go, it is unsure as to who will pick those rights up, but there is strong talk TWC (The Wrestling Channel) is interested in picking up some shows to replace NWA-TNA. If so, the TWF has agreed to cross-brand TWC and xWn to form a strong relationship.

-- The TWF also announced this week that there will be no TV programming on the week of their Dubai show, Bash at the Beach. The event has now been confirmed for Friday, February 4th, which is an Arabian Sunday (day of holy rest).
