TWF Eve of Destruction
September 19th 2004
Cefn Cribwr Community Centre, Cefn Cribwr, Bridgend
Theme Music:
'Die Dead Enough' - Megadeth

The opening package was very extensive and thorough. "We stand here today on the Eve of Destruction. A day of reckoning. Judgement. A day where loyalties are tested to the extreme. Tonight, two former friends {footage of Hawke/Frekishi} will do battle to prove, who, is the better entity. No man will be left in one piece. Tonight, teams {footage of Z-Pack/Rogerz} will fight a war of unearthly proportions, with no rules to prove that this is their moment. Tonight, one man will go through hell {footage of King of Xtreme} to return with a crown of thorns and another man will return {footage of King of the Ring} with a crown of jewels. Tonight, is a date of destiny. Tonight, men will fight to prove points, to illustrate some storied books. Tonight...we all stand on the Eve of Destruction...and there's no, going, back...".

Then the usual intro plays. "And now...Mazda presents, in association with the xWa...TWF Eve of Destruction". 'Die Dead Enough' by Megadeth hits to a massive roar from the crowd as the fireworks and pyros go off. The set has three wide video screens, saying "Eve" "Of" "Destruction" on each turn. There's a normal ramp way as well. Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside and remind us that tonight Frekishi defends the TWF World Championship against old friend Hawke, and The Assassin takes on Hawke in a special challenge match. Plus, Mr. BIG and NJS reunite to face The Rogerz.

'Cemetery Gates' hits and it is time for the first match! The Assassin makes his way out onto the stage and poses to huge cheers from the crowd. Footage shows of how Assassin came to get this match, 2 weeks ago on Grit BasH and his announcement on Wednesday of his opponent tonight.
'What About Hawke?' hits and the crowd boos as Falcon makes her way down to the ring with Hawke. Falcon races down and gets face-to-face with The Assassin, before lying down in the middle of the ring. The crowd boos, thinking that Falcon would want the match to be over and done with. Assassin sees through this and picks up Falcon and hits her with an F-5. He covers and gets the 1-2-3 and the match is over.
'Cemetery Gates' hits once more and Hawke is irate at ringside, he enters the ring to stand over Falcon, but then he gets in Assassin's face. Through the crowd, comes MARZ! He's back from injury! Marz leaps into the ring and Hawke and Marz double team Assassin, hitting a variety of double team moves on him until Big Sexy Badass and Silver run down to the ring, evening the score and driving the two Triad Members from the ring. The Triad walks straight backstage, whilst the Triple Threat converse in the middle of the ring before walking backstage to huge cheers.

Backstage; Mr. BIG's scarlet red 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider pulls up in the Community Centre parking lot behind the building. Michael King races up to Biggie and asks him for NJS's situation. Biggie gets his stuff from the back of the car and whilst doing so cuts a great speech, saying that NJS has promised him to be here tonight, and when he arrives, they will show the Rogerz what the meaning of "ass-kicking" is. Biggie then walks back to the dressing room.

Hayley Holder is already in the ring in her wrestling gear and it appears that Steven Jenkins has joined Scott Hudson and Joey Styles at the announce desk. Jenkins says that tonight, his manager finally comes home and into his arms.
'The Four Horsemen' hits and Holly makes her way down to the ring for this match, alone. Her Jocks will face a team of four later on this evening, including Jenkins.
This match was what you would expect from the TWF Women's division. Lots of action and some great spots. Jenkins was quite strong on commentary as well, putting over his opinions well. Holder, using limited wrestling knowledge managed to do a lot, but she needed Jenkins's help in the end. As Holly had hit a Tornado DDT, Jenkins got up from his announce desk and placed Hayley's barefoot on the ropes (Hayley wore high-heels, as usual down to the ring, but were disposed of earlier on in the match). Holly got back up and was irate with Jenkins and really got in his face, when Hayley turned her around and planted her with a Jenkins DDT! The crowd cheers as Hayley rolls Holly up...1-2-3!
'Out of My Way' hits and Jenkins is delighted. Hayley gets back up and leaps into Jenkins's arms. The two celebrate with Holly irate in the ring with the result of the match.

Backstage; Hawke, Marz, AJ Jeffers and Falcon are in their locker room, when there is a knock at the door. Owen Carl, formerly the leader of Revolution and part of Seek and Destroy, walks in, wearing a shirt and tie, with a Star Wars lapel badge. Carl informs Hawke that tonight, he returns to the TWF, but not in a wrestling capacity. Tonight, he returns with a new protégé, who is ready to climb to the top of the TWF mountain. Hawke says that's all well and good, but who is his new protégé. Carl whispers in Hawke's ear and Hawke looks delighted. Carl says that his new client will debut at some point this evening, and Hawke's wish is his command, as a favour from a friend to a friend. Hawke looks extremely pleased as Carl leaves.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles remind us that Mazda, in association with the xWa presents TWF Eve of Destruction, live from the sold out Cefn Cribwr Community Centre. Joey plugs the theme song for tonight's show, "Die Dead Enough" by Megadeth, from their new album "The System Has Failed", which has shot to #1 at the Play.com Metal Chart! Scott says that the next time the TWF joins you on PPV will be for xWa Xtreme Intentions, on Saturday October 9th 2004, from Earl's Court in London. We can also confirm that during that weekend, an announcement will be made regarding the TWF's event in Dubai next year.

Backstage; The Bandit and JT Money are seen arriving at the arena to HUGE cheers. They appear to be heading for Mr. BIG and NJS's locker room and when they enter, they are given a hero's welcome from Mr. BIG, NJS and Lita. Bandit is particularly happy to see Lita and asks about the baby. Lita says that the reason she has not wrestled tonight or done anything major is due the fact that the baby is a little girl! Biggie looks taken away by this and congratulates his best buddy, before getting back to meeting his buddies.

Steven Jenkins is still at ringside with Hayley Holder, when the bell begins to slowly toll. The crowd cheers as 'Rollin' hits and Deadman comes out to the ring with Ms. Sweet, his manager on the back of his 1986 Harley Davidson. Deadman enters the ring and poses, with footage rolling of WEW Thunder earlier on tonight, where he was ran down by a mystery person in a limo. Deadman is not at 100% but is still here.
The opening of 'Around The World' by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers plays, when...BANG! 'Killers' by Iron Maiden plays to huge cheers, and J-Fox walks out with the TWF TV Champion, Protégé. Hawke then appears on screen and informs us that should Deadman or Protégé be pinned in this match, the person who pins them will automatically get a title shot at Halloween Hell! The crowd boos this decision loudly. Scott Hudson is enraged, claiming that now the bulls eye will be on Deadman, who is not at 100%.
'The Four Horsemen' by Metallica plays once more, and The Jocks walk out with Holly. The crowd jeers as Blonde Man, Brownie, Jason Davies and Karl Davies walk down to the ring. Footage shows of WEW Thunder earlier on tonight, where Blonde Man & Brownie put up a great battle in a loss for the WEW Tag-Team Championships inside Six Sides of Steel. They all look to have a spring in their step tonight.
This match was quick to get off the ground, but soon found a groove and settled into its place. Deadman appeared to do much of the wrestling tonight, looking to be feeling the full effects of his injury. But, when he made tags, the hot participants were always in. J-Fox looked particularly impressive on his TWF PPV debut tonight as well. But, it proved all to be irrelevant in the final outcome of the match. Deadman had hit a Deadman Slam and was looking for the Death Stunner aka Death Star, when he was blindsided by Holly, who then used her curves to distract referee Lee Williams. Some sections of the crowd began loudly chanting "SLUT!" and it drowned out the rest of the arena soon enough. Karl Davies came in and hit a Stunna to pick up a victory and a title shot.
The crowd booed as the Jocks began to beat down the allied powers in the ring, and did so with smiles on their faces, until Mr. BIG ran down to the ring! The crowd cheered, but no one was sure as to why Mr. BIG was even out here! Biggie entered the ring and hit a beautiful spinebuster on Jason Davies, before taunting the crowd and dropping an elbow, using part of what has become his new reportage. Deadman, Jenkins and J-Fox surrounded Holly now, who was standing in the middle of the ring. Protégé suddenly came in the ring and surrounded her as well. Biggie stood on the side of the ropes with Deadman on Protégé and grabbed a microphone. Biggie says that "Finally...The BIG Storm...has come back, to Cefn Cribwr!". The crowd cheered as Biggie says that he was watching this match in the back a couple of moments ago, when he saw what Holly did to his ex-brother-in-law, referee Williams. Mr. BIG said it reminded him of Holly when they dated 2 years ago. Always flaunting herself to get what she wants, and always putting herself first. What have people who put themselves first always won..."fucking hatred, that's what", replies an angry Biggie. Biggie points at Protégé. Biggie informs the crowd that when Protégé first debuted in the TWF, Holly tried desperately to buy his contract and put him in the Jocks, but Biggie intervened, knowing what Holly would do to him. Biggie says he also has something taken from this month's "FHM UK" magazine, which has Holly in a 4-page spread. Holly was asked to do some word associations. "Biggie: a downright prick". Biggie said "Yes Holly that was all I felt...a prick in a downward direction...". The crowd "oooaahhhhsss!", as Biggie continues. "Protégé: great in bed...not much else to say. Loads of cash". Basically, Holly only likes Protégé because he's good in bed and has wads of cash. "Holly, for crying out loud, you wouldn't bed the self-proclaimed the sex God because you felt he was an egomaniac. Oh dear, has your complexion broke ALL the mirrors in your house?". Holly turns to leave, but Protégé comes in and hits her with a Tilt-a-Whirl Tombstone. The crowd cheers as Biggie leads the "Allied Powers" to the back, with Holly still left in the ring, alone.

Backstage; Michael King informs us that coming up next is the TWF King of the Ring match.

--- Video Package ---
[TWF King of the Ring History]

Jennifer Love Hewitt, tonight's ring announcer begins her announcement of this match. "Ladies and gentlemen, this next contest is the match to become TWF King of the Ring 2004. To begin this bout, the 10 participants will make their way to the ring and the match will begin under Battle Royal rules. Forms of elimination are by pinfall, submission or throwing your opponent over the top rope with both feet touching the floor. When the final two participants are left, the match will restart as a singles match, with the winner becoming...King of the Ring for 2004!". Joey Styles mentions that on Grit BasH, Commissioner Hawke will be on hand to present the King of the Ring trophy to tonight's winner.
Introducing the participants...'Survival of the Sickest' hits and the crowd cheers as Adam Taylor, Joe Whelan and Ryan Jenkins make their way down to the ring. They look very cocky this evening, and last year's runner-up Ryan Jenkins is obviously trying to better his performance in last year's 'Sweet 16' tournament where he lost to up-and-comer Blade.
'The Number of the Beast' by Iron Maiden hits and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as The Fox walks down to the ring. The Fox is making only his second appearance since returning to the TWF at Summer Break.
The arena darkens and smoke fills the stage...'Cowboys From Hell' hits and the crowd explodes as The Shott walks out onto the stage and taunts the crowd before making his way down to the ring. Joey Styles reminds us that around a year ago, The Shott made his return in a 20-Man Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender for the TWF World Championship. He, like The Fox, returned to the TWF at Summer Break V.
The footage of the helicopter flying around Chicago plays and 'Somewhere I Belong' begins to a mass of cheers. Bandit walks out and he gets the biggest applause thus far. He stops and poses on the ramp and sets fireworks off, before entering the ring.
Suddenly, Owen Carl walks out and stops in the middle of the stage, looking smug. 'Down In The Catabombs' and some members of the crowd gasp...IT'S HADES! HE HAS ARRIVED! The crowd stands in awe of this monster. Wearing shorts and boots, Hades walks slowly down to the ring and everyone is quaking. He stands over 7" tall and looks to be extremely powerful! He is entry #7 into this match.
The final 3 are on their way to the ring...John Adams, Mitch B and Billy Cash of HDW!
The 3 HDW people were first to be eliminated, thrown over by The Shott and Bandit. Bandit and Shott then worked pretty much against the rest, eliminating The Fox soon after. Adam Taylor and Joe Whelan surprisingly eliminated themselves when they attempted to eliminate Hades. The final four men of Hades, Bandit, Shott and Jenkins worked each other down. Hades was eliminated after a combined effort by the other 3 men. Bandit was then eliminated by Jenkins, and referee Keith Jones leapt into the ring and Jenkins found himself in the finals for the second year running. However, he was tired and Shott took advantage, hitting the ShottGun and scoring the victory.
'Cowboys From Hell' hit and The Shott was obviously elated, but helped Jenkins to his feet and congratulated his efforts, but Jenkins must contend with being runner-up for a second year!

Backstage: JT Money is seen ready, taping up, and ready for the King of XtreMe match, which is coming up next!

--- TWF Halloween Hell Commercial ---

Joey Styles reminds us that this is TWF Eve of Destruction, which is being brought to you by Mazda, and coming up next is the King of Xtreme match. As the match is being set-up, Scott and Joey explain the rules. There are Barbed Wire Ropes and tables will surround the ring. New this year is panes of glass which have been placed on the tables for use. A flaming 2x4 is hanging over one corner of the ring, whilst crates of weapons hang on 2 other corners. The final corner, we are told, has thumbtacks inside the turnbuckles itself. The way to win, is still the same...you must climb the ladder and grab hold of the former TWF XtreMe Championship Belt.
'Bleeding Mascara' by Atreyu hits and the crowd cheers as JT Money makes his way out to the ring. Last years winner should be full of confidence with experience of this match underneath his belt.
JCVS then makes his way out to the ring. We are then shown footage of JCVS in last year's match, where he was dramatically screwed by Stephen Dimmock out of winning the match. JCVS and JT obviously have the experience to win this match.
'Never Gonna Stop' hits and the crowd cheers as Blade walks out with the TWF Hardkore Championship. Hawke interrupts his entrance and informs the participants that should Blade lose this bout, he will also lose his Hardkore Championship! This announcement is met with boos.
BANG! The Vamp then makes his fiery entrance to ringside with the crowd booing furiously. He gets in the ring and immediately goes after Blade, who he formed a furious rivalry with in recent weeks.
Suddenly, Eliminator from HDW races down to the ring and the match begins! Eliminator's presence surprises the crowd, but, he has not taken a liking to JT Money and will seek to do something about that tonight.
This match, due to its sheer nature, was extremely brutal. Each man left the match bloodied and bruised, and luckily the TWF has extra ice packs for this evening. The biggest shock was the extensive use of the glass panes placed on tables. At one point, JCVS looked to drive The Vamp through, but The Vamp cleverly managed to get out the way and JC went flying through! Meanwhile, JT and Blade continued an amazing battle in the ring. Eliminator seemed to attack whoever he saw fit. The ending of the match shocked many. Eliminator was busy setting up a trademark table tower of 6 tables, with glass panes on top of each table. Eliminator entered the ring and as Blade was down, JT, JC, Vamp and Eliminator began a race to the ladder. But Blade managed to get back up and with all the strength he had left, dropkicked the ladders into each other, and sent the 4 men crashing through the table tower! HOLY SHIT! That's killed them. It was a mere formality for Blade to climb the ladder, and Blade became the King of Xtreme!
'Never Gonna Stop' hit as Blade looked at the XtreMe Championship and placed it next to his Hardkore Title. Blade looks very pleased and poses on the ladder before climbing down and walking past the carnage he has just caused. Replays show the shocking impact of the move that appears to have taken out all 4 men!

Backstage; The Rogerz are seen walking down a hallway, ready for the next match, for the TWF World Tag-Team Championships.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles at ringside show us once more what happened minutes ago, where Blade managed to eliminate all of the other participants in King of Xtreme and win the match for himself. But, coming up next, is the match for the TWF Tag-Team Championships between the Z-Pack and the Rogerz.

--- Video Package ---

'2-Tough' hits and the crowd boos frantically as The Rogerz make their way down to the ring for this match. We are reminded that the Rogerz feel their loss at Summer Break V was down to Holly's presence, so she has been barred from ringside for this next match. Crash and Hardkore pose on the turnbuckles before awaiting the arrival of their opponents.
The arena blacks out suddenly. The crowd is rocking...when those infamous words appear on screen..."Just Think About It". The words echo over the PA as the greatest hiTz montage flicks through......BANG! "WHERE'S YOUR CROWN, KING NOTHING?" 'King Nothing' by Metallica hits and Mr. BIG slowly walks out onto the stage. He high-fives each of the fans in the aisle, before walking around the ring and high-fiving the fans there. Biggie then ends up back in the aisle way.
05-04-03-02-01...0.00 = NJS! BANG! 'Away From Me' begins to play, and from the smoke, appears NJS to the biggest cheers of the evening. He walks down alone, but backstage, his wife Lita watches on ominously. The two partners then enter the ring and pose, before being ambushed by the Rogerz.
This match certainly stole the show. Much was expected...so much more was delivered. Biggie and NJS showed why they are who they are. They showed what they had with their vast experience against tag-team veterans. It was a great match for all to see as well. Definitely another match of the year candidate. Rogerz gave their all, using all kinds of weapons, ranging from a steel chair, garbage can, even the ring bell to try and dominate the Z-Pack. Backstage, you could see Holly and Lita watching on in their individual rooms. However, NJS proved to be the key to the match. Having been rested for a while, he came back with an extra coil in his springs. He managed to pile drive Crash Rogerz through the announce table at one point, and then promptly set up Scott and Joey's replacement table, before driving Hardkore through it! Meanwhile, in the ring, Hardkore and Crash managed to do a lot to Mr. BIG. But, in the end, all this appeared irrelevant. Lita made her way down to the ring and distracted Crash, which enabled NJS to come from behind and bulldog Crash. Mr. BIG however had just hit a spinebuster on Hardkore! Biggie looked back and dropped the elbow in his new trademark move. But then, he flipped back up, looked NJS in the eye and smiled...and they performed a double BIG Elbow! The crowd cheered, but they were not done! Biggie threw Hardkore out of the ring and scoop slammed Crash! NJS went up top and the crowd went insane!! WHAZZZZZZZZZZZZZ UP?! NJS flies off the top rope and into Crash and as NJS and Biggie looked to finish them off, Holly ran down to the ring and attacked Lita! NJS leapt to the defence of his pregnant wife, leaving Biggie to himself. Crash and Hardkore took advantage and attempted to hit a Whazzz Up? On Mr. BIG. But as Holly dodged NJS's spear attempted, he crashed into the ring pole with such force that Crash fell off the top turnbuckle! Biggie hit Hardkore with a BIG Storm and then saw Crash's position near a chair and Equalised him onto it! 1-2-3!
'King Nothing' hits and the crowd cheers. Holly has run from ringside and NJS and Lita roll into the ring. Crash and Hardkore leave ringside and don't seem to be distraught at the loss, but rather at Holly's intervention. NJS, Biggie and Lita celebrate in the ring, before Biggie gets on the microphone. "Holly's screwed...not literally. That's a good enough reason to drink to it. So if you wanna see some ice-cold Cherry Coke and Pepsi Max action here...GIMMIE A 'Z-PACK'!"..."Z-PACK!". ’King Nothing' restarts to huge cheers as Biggie passes the beverages before walking backstage.

Backstage; Frekishi is seen walking to the ring for the main event...NEXT!

--- TWF Live Commercial ---

Scott Hudson reminds us to join him and Joey this week for TWF programming, and reminds us to be sure to stick around for huge matches to be made for Xtreme Intentions and Halloween Hell!

'What About Hawke?' hits and it can only mean that it is time for our main event! Hawke makes his way down to the ring alone, and it appears that this will be a straight-up match to determine the World Champion. Hawke last held the championship in June of 2003 before he was finally beaten by The Bandit. He seeks his 2nd TWF World Championship reign here tonight.
"I'm A Fhat Man...Hahahahaha!"...the crowd cheers as Frekishi, the TWF World Champion, appears on stage. He stops in the middle of the stage and poses. He is wearing attire similar to that of Rikishi after No Mercy 2000...leather jacket and leather trousers/pants. However, he then takes them off to reveal his usual attire of a singlet and jeans.
These two former friends contested a great match, and many thought that should Mr. BIG and Marz meet once more, it would be a lot like this match. A lot of expectation was based on the Biggie/Marz encounter from before Summer Break, due to their similar circumstances, but, both men appeared to be more focused on that, rather than anything else. Perhaps that is why some fans left a little disappointed with regards to this match. But nonetheless, both men sought the championship held by the Frek; you had to feel that outside interference would cause the tide to turn during this encounter. And it almost did. Frekishi had hit Hawke with a pretty convincing chokeslam and went to the outside and sought to chokeslam Hawke through Scott and Bobby's third table of the night. Falcon came down and ensured that would not happen and was Hawke's cheerleader for the rest of the match. As the crowd really got under Hawke's skin, every move was met by a cocky reaction from Hawke, which got the crowd to boo him even more. Hawke had hit an Evenflow DDT and looked for his second one, when he taunted the crowd once more. But, Frekishi got back up and hit Hawke with a Sit-Out Powerbomb! 1-2-3!
'Fhat Man' hit and Falcon was extremely annoyed. Frekishi was handed the title belt Hawke craved and shoved it right in his face as he left ringside. Frekishi was left to pose with his gold as the Eve of Destruction came to a close.

I would have to say that was good P.P.V following the huge sucess of Summerbreak V which has to be up there as one of the best Pay Per Views the TWF have ever witnessed.
