TWF News and Rumours 2005

-- To begin this new thread, we have some HUGE news. Around a week after PayBack, whilst Mr. BIG was visiting his grandfather, Mr. Douglas Edwards, the TWF MD and Chair of the Board, it was made known to him that in March 2005, Doug will retire from his business duties, which include stepping down as MD and Chair of the TWF. He will continue to have a controlling stake as part of the Edwards family stake in the TWF, which equates to 30-35%.

-- What this means is a new Managing Director and Chair of the Board must be appointed. By law, the TWF must apply for the position and we have heard that some interesting applicants have stepped forward. By default, Mr. BIG wants the job, but he has stated that he has no idea whether he will get the job or not. Marz has put his name in the hat, but after his past with the company, his application will probably be turned down immediately. We do not know of other applicants. The TWF will interview the applicants, who we know of are: Mr. BIG, Marz, Mr. Job-Smith (who if he gets control will look to advance the xWa), the un-named Bridgend-based businessman and another mystery applicant.

-- If Mr. BIG gets the job, he has made his intentions clear that he will retire from active competition in professional wrestling and concentrate on his job and run the company. He has already agreed if he became owner to push the xWa alliance and mediums such as TV and Radio stations in a much bigger way. There was talk of dropping the additional £5 subscription fee for the xWn on Sky Digital, but it's unsure at the moment whether that will take place.

-- Doug has said that he apparently wants any move to be made final by April 1st 2005, in other words before the end of the fiscal Financial year of 2004-2005.

-- The TWF recently surprised many by announcing that it's January Pay-Per-View was being pushed back a week due to technical difficulties. Now taking place on January 16th, the event has also undergone a name change. The event will now be called...'Shockwave'. There appears to be no reason for the event's name to mean anything, but we will learn over the next few days if that is true.

-- The FURY Best of 2004 Special has been taped but due to problems with the PayBack encores and with the voting system, the results will not be shown until this coming Friday, by which point PayBack will be up in it's entirety. The show was hosted by Jonathan Ross with cameo appearances from many stars.

-- Here is the current 2005 PPV Calendar as it stands.

* January 16th - Untitled Event - Bridgend Recreation Centre
* February 4th - Bash at the Beach - Jumeriah Beach, Dubai, UAE
* February 13th - xWa Parental Advisory - TWF Arena, Brackla
* February 27th - Deadly MindGames - Air Wales Arena, Broadlands
* March 27th - Easter HeAT - Grand Pavilion, Porthcawl
* April 17th - No Way BacK 3 - Cardiff International Arena, Cardiff
* May 22nd - Cyberslam II - Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois, USA
* June 12th - Against All Odds - Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
* July 24th - Total Chaos - GCourt Green, Brackla
* August 21st - Summer Break VI - Unconfirmed

We understand that Easter HeAT and No Way Back have swapped months because of an early Easter this year. We have heard reports that the Summer Break VI venue will be confirmed as part of the TWF's 5th Anniversary week on  February 7th-13th, culminating with the big xWa show at the TWF Arena. Also to note is the two back-to-back North American PPVs. We have been told that during that time, the TWF will not return to Wales until the summer and broadcast each of their shows during that period from the Northern United States and Southern Canada.

-- Since the announcement that Managing Director Douglas Edwards will stand down, the TWF has been getting major coverage in the local press. Weekly paper the Glamorgan Gazette ran a full-page article on the story and even had a comment which stated:
"The announcement of the TWF MD Douglas Edwards's retirement couldn't have come at worse time. Bridgend is now getting a reputation as a wrestling town which we really don't want. It's not all about wrestling. There are far better things going on in the town than that".
This completely contradicted the rest of the paper, where the letters page was filled with notes of congratulations to the outgoing MD for his splendid work. There was even a half-page article in the UK-wide paper The Sun stating that the TWF "along with WEW, XCW and the FWA, has helped British Wrestling to become one of the biggest phenomenon in the world".

-- In any event, the TWF interviewed the applicants this week. They were: Mr. BIG, Mr. Job-Smith, Marz & The Shott were interviewed together, Leyton Samuel, former XWF President, G. Rivers and Mr. Edwards. To everyone's shock, Mr. Edwards appeared to get the majority of the board's backing, despite the fact that Biggie was the most confident and happiest candidate and the one who seemed like he could control the TWF more. The announcement of who the new MD is will be made at TWF Shockwave, with the successful applicant taking up their post on Friday, April 1st, 2005.

-- A quite funny altercation took place around a week ago at Bridgend Train Station. Mr. BIG dropped off his sister, Atomically Kool Kat at the station as she was going to Cardiff. Holly, of all people, was on the platform, and AKK and Holly had a long discussion. Biggie simply sat on the car and to his shock, JCVS arrived in a taxi. Biggie and JCVS conversed until JCVS spotted Holly. They talked for a while and JCVS just managed to get his train. Biggie and Holly were then seen talking for the first time in quite a while and the two seemed very happy.

-- Biggie was not interested in Holly, because we are told from sources that Rachel Stevens was seen at Biggie's house a lot of the Christmas period and it is highly rumoured that the two are dating.

-- Tension in the Job-Smith household has reached a critical point this week, however. Lita, who was wrestling a match for WWE this week was injured and during this time, NJS has been seen with friend Louise. This has led many to believe that NJS with cheating on his beloved wife and Lita has also learnt that she might have dealt her pregnancy a blow by wrestling. However, the injury has ruled her out for a while and apparently, the husband and wife are now at home sorting out the baby.

-- Marz and The Shott's behaviour has been worrying many over the past week. Frekishi was even said as saying "Isn't it quite creepy how close they are?". Frekishi was really implying that he thinks they are partners, and the TWF has said in the past it has no problem having workers who are of different sexual orientations.

-- Mr. BIG was seen talking with both "The Yoga Kid" Rhys Evans and High Voltage this week. The talks with High Voltage went so well there is talk of him returning to the TWF Hall of Fame. Mr. BIG was also considering offering HV a deal to return, but HV flatly refused saying he wasn't interested in it. There were also strong rumours around this week that Hayley Holder had left the company, but she was also seen talking to Biggie and she is still very much a part of the company.

Storyline News
-- Team EV's push in the early part of 2005 may involve a feud with Mr. BIG and NJS.
-- Marz and The Shott may team up soon to face AJ Jeffers & The Assassin, a pairing that has been a success recently.
-- SIN will return shortly but it is uncertain whether they will keep hold of the xWa Tag-Team Championships for much longer.
-- Steven Jenkins may get a fairly long run with the TWF IC Championship. One of the most patient workers in the business, he has waited almost 4 years for a title.
-- Bandit and JT Money are expected to work as a tag-team for the moment, but both will continue to have singles matches on TWF TV. There is talk of adding to The Sadist Nation some old friends from the XWF.

-- The new TWF MD, Mr. BIG, made an announcement this week about the TWF that certainly raised a few eyebrows. Whilst discussing with NJS yesterday about the direction of the TWF, Biggie said that he doesn't see the TWF "lasting beyond August". Biggie has however retracted that statement and says that he doesn't see his in-ring career lasting beyond August. Biggie knows that it is very likely that during his reign as MD he will be the one to close the TWF, and knows a backlash when that happens will not surprise him, but his aim is to guide the TWF through a very tough period as wrestling experiences another "bust" period.

-- Biggie also commented on the TWF's not-so running start in 2005. He blames the fact that there are 3 Major Shows in February this year and despite the fact he was one of the people who organised them, talent are reluctant to participate in any.

-- We have been informed on the deciding factor which the board used to determin the new MD. We are told that each candidate had to come up with an advertising campaign for the 5th Anniversary celebrations. We are told Mr. BIG immediately said "Life Isn't a Soap Opera, so we shouldn't be" and was quickly given the approval of the directors. The campaign will actually begin this week and last until Easter HeAT.

-- The lack of TWF Television has been blamed on technical difficulties suffered by many parts of the production process and because of this many people are losing interest in the TWF. However, Mr. BIG has said that he will get interest back, gradually.

-- As part of being MD, Mr. BIG has already made a priority of sorting out the talent pool. Whilst some talent are very happy with their positions (NJS, J-Fox, AJ Jeffers etc.) there are others (Marz, The Shott, Frekishi etc.) who despite being big draws, are getting very unenthusiastic about the profession and often joke about it. Biggie is said to put joking aside and has told those who are not interested that he has some friends who can easily replace them and become bigger draws whilst they are left to do some random once-a-year indy shows. Most of the talent listed in the latter got a huge kick up the ass that time and most now seem interested in the company.

TWF News and Rumours 2005 IV

-- The TWF today announced that TWF Summer Break: The Game, is likely to ship on April 26th 2005, worldwide. The soundtrack to the game is already confirmed to feature Joe Satriani (who has contributed an exclusive song to the game), Metallica, Megadeth, Disturbed, Chevelle, Drowning Pool and Finger Eleven. All PPV themes are present in the game as well.

-- The game's biggest selling points are it's gameplay, with every TWF match-type/gimmick match of the last 2 years included. This includes: WarGames, Hell in a Cell and for the first time, Rage in the Double Cage, House of Pain, Chair Shot Roulette, and Tables, Ladders, Cell. Also, every active member of the TWF roster is included along with a few hidden extras. The game will be available for PlayStation 2 only at first, with a likely release for X-Box and Gamecube shortly after.

-- The TWF is expected to announce shortly details of the next TWF Theme Song CD, which is likely to include re-mixes of popular themes as well as some brand new ones. Also to be announced shortly is details of xWr, the new project from the  TWF Media wing.

-- There are very strong rumours that ITV and Celedor, the two companies behind TV's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?", have approached Mr. BIG on hosting two classic game shows in the UK. Biggie has said that he plans to retire this year and would be interested in doing some TV work. However, this was all speculation and is now very unlikely due to Mr. BIG becoming Managing Director. The game shows offered were 'Concentration' and a UK version of 'Pyramid' which is doing quite well in the US at present.

-- Various sources have also reported some shocking news regarding Louise. We were tipped off that she has apparently gone behind Biggie's back and started dating Hawke, which is proving to be true. Biggie was walking with her during Grit BasH when she went into Hawke's locker room and did not return for around 5 minutes, whilst Biggie continued his business.

-- If Biggie finds out, it is likely to cause an uproar and Louise is likely to be either shown the door or given less TV time. This would be the 3rd time this has happened to Biggie, the earlier two being with Rachel Stevens and Holly.

-- Many have been asking what becoming TWF Managing Director involves. Mr. BIG, the new MD, already is in charge of finances. He recently decided to merge the TWF and XCW financial departments and house them at TWF Towers so XCW could work on some storage for their technical equipment. Biggie, as CEO, was exclusively in charge of TWF personnel and finance matters, but his responsibilities now include BCW and The Asylum. Biggie has also requested a meeting with the Welsh Assembly Government to ask for an alteration in the Business Tax law.

-- There were two fairly significant pieces of news to come out of the xWa Parental Advisory weekend. Firstly, the XWF's belated announcement that it would come to Europe following it's March PPV. This announcement was very unexpected and the locker room at the xWa show was very excited about it. It is expected that the XWF holds a show at the TWF and XCW Arenas only, but still, it was some excellent news and the locker room was smiling about it.

-- The other interesting news was a comment by Mr. BIG when being interviewed by the xWn, his first interview since becoming TWF Managing Director. Biggie was asked about his relationship with High Voltage and said he had "discussions" about doing something with the RWF. Biggie then explained that The Shott did not want the RWF's ownership and handed it back to the xWa, where Mr. BIG says he expects to do a once a month show for around a year and see how it goes. He says that the RWF will have no TV time, but instead the once a month show would be aired on a Sunday, primetime on the xWn. It would not clash with any other xWa PPV though.

-- There was also a charity event on Wednesday evening in Bridgend that was very well attended by TWF superstars. We understand Mr. BIG, Louise, Jason Davies, Holly, Karl Davies, Atomically Kool Kat and Hades, along with former TWF superstars, Blood Brothers Luke & Todd, Josh Jericho (aka Blood Brother Josh) and most surprisingly of all, High Voltage.

-- High Voltage's presence was a major "irritation" to much of the people there, saying that whilst Biggie was busy socialising, and having a generally good time, HV would pop up. Some sources said that it was not a situation where HV did not know anyone, he knew a lot of people there and chose not to socialise, probably to piss Mr. BIG off. He were also told that he was very close to coming to blows with Biggie over Louise. Biggie and Louise arrived separately, Louise with her fiancée, ending speculation of a Biggie/Louise romance, and when the two friends talked briefly, we are told HV made a few snide remarks toward Louise, which was met with disgust from Louise who promptly left and Biggie who turned angrily on Voltage. Biggie made amends with a phone call after the event, whilst HV has again entered the black books.

-- We expect to hear shortly as well from Biggie plans about his ownership. He has already stated that he will begin a roster shortening program soon as well.

-- Speaking of talent, we understand that The AshTaker & The Terminator have had their contracts expire without new deals. We are told that both did not to continue wrestling for both the TWF and XCW and the TWF decided that XCW can have exclusive rights to the duo. The door is very open for them to return, but we do highly doubt it.

-- There is also talk of a lot of new development deals coming along. We also heard from The Insider that the TWF is looking into getting The Overnight Male in the promotion by 2006.

-- Finally, Mr. BIG filmed a pilot for the game show 'Pyramid' and it went very well. We understand that NJS will make an appearance on Sky Sports News this week to publicise TWF Deadly MindGames and that The Bandit will be on a late night chat show in the US this week as well talking about the XWF.

TWF News and Rumours 2005 VI

-- There was an article in some British tabloids this week that alleged that a TWF Superstar has some conflicts regarding his sexuality. Although a lot was done to keep the identity of the superstar secret, it is highly anticipated to be someone that much of the locker room have been sure of for a while.

-- As soon as news spread, the superstar became very withdrawn and was very close to quitting. When he was summoned to Mr. BIG's office in TWF Towers, he expected the worst, but in actual fact, Mr. BIG has supported his decision and has placed his full support behind him and he should have no worries and says that homosexuals will be treated the same as heterosexuals in the TWF.

-- Many members of the locker room have grown rather uncomfortable with this, but Mr. BIG addressed them prior to Grit BasH tonight and told them that if it were a lesbian, the locker room would be delighted, but a gay makes them shiver. Biggie said that this is a locker room that takes no note of racism or similar forms of abuse and will continue to be against it whilst he is in charge. Everyone in the locker room has said that Mr. BIG is turning into a natural leader and is coping very well with the responsibilities he fully inherits on April 1st.

-- There has been increasing talk this week that the TWF has tried to get a musical act at No Way BacK to perform. Mr. BIG has apparently negotiated with the band of former TWF Superstar 'The Rock' Gareth Fox, Louder Side of Silence. It is expected they perform a track from their EP that was released recently.

-- The TWF took a good look at "Big" Martin at Parental Advisory and the writers are high on bringing him in soon. We also hear that Disturbed, Echo and Zero, who were signed around October time, have progress so well they will be appearing on Meltdown and Warzone shortly. The three are all students of Mr. BIG's at The Asylum and are what he is calling his 2nd-generation of students. The first generation produced The Assassin, Deadman and Team EV, of course. NJS's first batch of students will be introduced to the main rosters after Summer Break it seems as NJS wants his students to be patient and wait their chance.

-- An interesting idea was pitched by a writer for TWF Summer Break VII this week. They suggested that Mr. BIG or NJS turns heel at Summer Break VI and with both men close to retirement, set up a match at Summer Break VII where they manage one of their students, and retire following the match. Biggie is considering the idea and may go through with it.

-- Biggie himself was the subject of discussions this week in writer's meetings. The writers are responding to the growing number of non-responses for Biggie by thinking of re-branding him. Biggie thinks a better idea is to keep his current gimmick but be off TV for an extended period and the return. The writers noted that although this tactic has been successful in the past it is unlikely to work for Biggie once more. Biggie will either have to turn heel or do something rather unusual. Biggie has apparently been teaching Disturbed, Echo and Zero a finisher called 'The Last Laugh' that looks a lot like Petey Williams from NWA-TNA's 'Canadian Destroyer' and he may use that soon.

-- There is also groundwork for Summer Break VI being laid. At the moment, there is talk of a Biggie/Hawke match since the two have not worked a PPV singles match in some time. NJS may face Frekishi with Mastermind expected to defend the TWF Championship to The Bandit or JT Money. Such is the success of Mastermind's reign that it could be one of the longest since Mr. BIG amassed almost 2 years with the strap.

-- The lack of TV time for the IC Title recently is due to a lack of development. many felt that the Jenkins/Karl Davies angle needed to be extended and made into a longer feud, but with it's abrupt end, it has hurt both men.

-- There is SERIOUS talk of re-introducing the TWF European Championship into the TWF as a replacement for the HardKore Championship. It has always been seen as the black sheep of the TWF and the wrestlers, staff and fans seem to agree that hardkore is on it's way out.

-- Finally, we have heard that Mr. BIG will host a prime-time pilot for Pyramid in the next few weeks on ITV1. We hear that there will also be an article in listings guide TV & Satellite Week. We will have full reports on Bandit and NJS's media appearances in the next update.

-- The recent "re-formation" of the RWF has caused a major sturr backstage, with little known about the promotion. What is known is that the TWF has some part in the organisation of it and is it's financial backer. What no-one knows is who runs the show. The first event since the "re-formation" was WrestleFest this month and it is expected to feature largely RWF old boys with little involvement from those who were not there when it originally started.

-- Many TWF fans are still wondering where Grit BasH and FURY have been since Christmas, with no new episodes airing what so ever. With Deadly MindGames still not finished at time of press, the two shows may not be on air until April at the earliest.

-- With No Way BacK around the corner, the TWF will begin it's push to Summer Break VI. At the moment, it appears that The Millennium Stadium is a lock for the event, which should be confirmed at No Way BacK.

-- In yet another twist in the Biggie vs. Holly saga, Louise was recently spotted with the Jock's manager backstage having a rather lengthy discussion. Sources say that once more, it appears that Biggie is being screwed over by people whom he trusts.

-- We can confirm though that Biggie and Louise are NOT an item despite Louise's break-up with her boyfriend filling the tabloids over the past few weeks. Although her friends Biggie and NJS have been constantly at her side, she is actually seeing NJS. NJS and Lita are separated at the moment after NJS found out that despite all the rumours, she was actually dating WWE's Edge and Edge is the father of Lita's baby. This explains why Lita is no longer on TWF programming (OOC: what a stroke of luck on our part, ay buddy!).

-- An interesting plan is being thought up of for No Way BacK. We are told that an idea has been pitched for the Z-Pack and Team EV to continue their firsts, after the first Tag-Team Ambulance Match at Deadly MindGames, it's expected that they have the first Tag-Team Last Ride Match at Easter HeAT, but the feud could be settle in a very unique way at No Way BacK.

-- The TWF wants something very dramatic to happen and with the event already being promoted with the tag-line "The Last Grasp", there is a very good chance that we could have the first Criminal Injustice Match in 5 years or, the first ever Gas Chamber Match. The Gas Chamber match could work in one of two ways. Either both Holly and Louise are locked in chambers and the winner's valet is released, whilst the other is gassed, or both members of each team must be placed in chambers to win. Either way, it could be extremely dramatic.

-- Mastermind, who has been doing an excellent job as TWF World Champion as of late, is expected to hold onto the title for the foreseeable future. His contract runs up around Summer Break as he only signed a short-term deal, but the TWF is already faced with a dilemma as to whether to sign him on after his title reign as it might effect his popularity. Mastermind is already considering retirement, though, due to un-related reasons, but the ball is firmly in the TWF's court.

-- The talk of swapping the Hardkore and European Championships has started up again. The TWF is now going to be reluctant to do so, with there talk of a Hardcore "renaissance" in June thanks to the ECW re-union shows.

-- Summer Break VI is already being heavily talked about backstage. There is a lot of talk of gimmick matches dominating the card, but Mr. BIG is fiercely opposing the idea, saying that Summer Break is heavily traditional and doesn't want anything more than a Tables, Ladders, Chairs or Steel Cage match to take place at the show. Most of the wrestlers have backed him up on this.

-- -- The TWF was told this week that two members of the current roster will definitely be leaving after Summer Break VI. The Protégé, who also works backstage as Head of Production, has accepted a scholarship to a college in Greater London. The other superstar, which comes as no surprise, is Hawke. He has opted to pursue his acting and singing careers and is expected to go to a drama school after Summer Break VI.

-- Speaking of Hawke and Protégé, both received rave reviews for their part in a local production that starred former TWF stars Rhys Evans and Gareth Fox. Mr. BIG was present at the final night and after show party and was "amazed" at the quality of the show and said that he is surprised they didn't have more nights to perform.

-- With this talk of two BIG stars leaving, the TWF will now stuggle to fill the holes. Mr. BIG is getting increasingly worried at the state of the TWF after Summer Break VI and fears it could go back to the survivors from the first ever TWF show: Mr. BIG, NJS, Marz, AJ Jeffers and Owen Carl. Frekishi, The Assassin, The Shott, The Terminator and The Vamp, however, are all confirmed for the next two years.

-- At this Friday's FURY, backstage was a very disheartened place after hearing of Chris Candido's untimely passing. Marz was particularly saddened having known him for his appearances in NCW. Mr. BIG was also saddened that another ECW alumni has gone. The TWF dedicated Friday's FURY to his memory.

-- On a brighter note, the TWF successfully shipped Summer Break: The Game on April 26th 2005 to rave reviews across the world. The TWF has also released hints on how to unlock some special features. Starting the story mode in September, the progressional unlocking system is one feature that fans specifically requested. The TWF has confirmed that you can unlock the old RAW Set by playing through to December of Year 2 and get into "Retro Week" where the old Grit BasH & RAW sets are used. After that, the set is unlocked. Also, the Grit BasH Summerhill Drive Park set is in the game, despite rumours that it isn't. Get to 3rd week of July in Year 3 to unlock it.

-- Despite the lack of TV and PPV shows, the TWF is still going relatively strong. The TWF Web recently receieved a minor design change which has gone down well.

-- We understand that Hawke has handed in notice that he will leave after Summer Break VI. The Protégé has also 100% confirmed he will also leave after the show. However, the most shocking leaving notice posted is that of Mr. BIG's. He has confirmed after some speculation that after Summer Break VI he will retire from active wrestling to concentrate on his role as TWF MD. Biggie has also stated that his TV appearances will be few and far between.

-- Biggie has announced plans for the TWF Hall of Fame. No superstar's entries will be removed and High Voltage has been re-instated after the TWF and HV healed their wounds during the RWF contract process. Biggie has stated that at Summer Break VI, the TWF plans to induct 3 superstars into the Hall and at the End of Year Awards induct 1 superstar and another person into the new builders category. It is expected that former MD Doug Edwards will be inducted into the builders category first. The Hall of Fame page is likely to grow into a site soon as well, using a template that was originally going to be used for the xWa Magazine re-birth.

-- Whilst out on a Friday evening, we have been told that Mr. BIG & The Protégé were allegedly attacked by a group of thugs back home in Wales whilst the TWF is on tour in the US. The thugs approached them, but Biggie and Protégé refused to back down and drove away, with the thugs following, until Biggie lost them in his Aston Martin. Biggie has not said much to the police about the incident, but charges are likely to be pressed.

-- Some people backstage have noted that NJS and Louise's behaviour recently has changed a lot. The two were well known and well-liked for joking around, where as both are now a lot more serious about their work and their conduct. It's also been confirmed by sources backstage that the two are an item at present. Louise was supportive of NJS when he discovered his wife Lita's affair and the two's friendship grew. Mr. BIG, contrary to what some sources say, is credited with setting the two up.

-- Holly's attitude was again the subject of one of the board meetings. Whilst Holly is undoubtedly a draw for the TWF, her attitude towards some members of staff is well-noted. One wrestler was quoted as saying "Biggie, bless him, has tried to patch things up with her so they can live their lives a bit easier, but she simply refuses to do so. She loves the attention and now she's getting it, everyone seems to hate her". The TWF is unsure what to do with her and her character.

-- Hades was also the subject of a discussion at the meeting. Hades has been the biggest success the TWF have had since The Assassin's arrival, and whilst the board is ecstatic with how big a draw he has become, they feel he needs to turn heel. Hades, as stated by the board, is a character that although looks mean, is a gentle giant of sorts. He was originally brought in to be a Brock Lesnar-style badass, but Hades has morphed himself into his own persona. One idea mentioned was that he gets a new manager. An idea called "Athena" was tossed around by Biggie and NJS at the meeting. Louise has also said that she could get a perfect person for the role herself. There is no confirmation that this will go ahead.

-- One of the biggest problems as of late has been the Intercontinental Championship. Biggie hammered home the fact he felt that Stephen Jenkins was a deserved champion, he feels that he has faced everyone in the division at least once and the title is losing it's prestige thanks to Hades. Biggie says that he feels Jenkins will hold the belt for a few more months before dropping it to some one like  JT Money. JT was just mentioned of the cuff.

-- High Voltage was spotted with The Shott around TWF Towers this week. Apparently the two were there on matters regarding the RWF. Most will agree that the RWF's return has been a success, with the viewing figures for the two xWn shows thus far being good. Biggie has been vocal about the way the show runs and says that it makes the RWF stand unique compared to the way the TWF and XCW works.

-- There is increasing talk that Xtreme Overdose could be the last xWa Supershow. After almost 3 years, Biggie says that conflicting schedules between the TWF, XCW and XWF are causing havoc and that the idea has run it's course. There is even talk that the xWa could be disbanded. If that happens, which looks unlikely, TWF COO Alastair Edwards has said that the xWn, xWr and other such xWa affiliated ideas will continue to run.

-- BSkyB are apparently entering negotiations to bring the TWF back to the Sky Sports line-up. The TWF agrees that whilst marketing the xWn as the exclusive home for the TWF, they do feel that the TWF has lost interest and viewers since they left the network at the tail end of 2004. BSkyB are interested in reacquiring live Grit BasH, first run WarZone and repeats of Meltdown. Grit BasH is said to be the real reason they want the package, but the TWF is trying to structure a deal which sould see Meltdown and WarZone shown on more than just Sky.

-- We can confirm that Mr. BIG will be hosting Channel 4's coverage of the Download Music Festival, when it airs sometime next week. Biggie requested he attend the show, and Channel 4 roped him into hosting the show. Also, Biggie's TV Show, The Last Word with Mr. BIG on ITV1, has been a major success, and a longer run is expected when a new series starts in September. Pyramid also did very well and gave ITV1 a much needed Saturday night's ratings boost and is likely to get a second season as well.

-- Biggie has been coping with his new found mainstream attention very well and is very quick to deflect it. He has a good relationship with the press and he is not trouble by them because he has told them on many occasions that he will sue if he feels his privacy is threatened.

-- Again, the topic of the TWF's future keeps rearing it's head almost everywhere. We can ultimately confirm that every TWF event up until Summer Break VI has been scheduled and is likely to go ahead. Whether the TWF continues actually depends on Cyberslam II, which was a MASSIVE success, and last weekend's Against All Odds, which also went well, despite it's early local start time which angered some as it clashed with the Canadian GP. The TWF has begun with plans promoting a September PPV, tentatively titled as 'Hell's Motel'.

-- The RWF shows have been going down a storm. This has shocked many, but it was Mr. BIG's idea to get the RWF back on it's feet as a once monthly show. It is unlikely that it will ever start doing television shows again, because it would lead to yet another clash between many promotions for the xWa Talent. It's traditional date of the last Sunday of every month has gone down well and makes it easier for events to be organised.

-- The TWF stars recently had a good chuckle at the ECW's reformation angles on WWE TV, because it is very similar as to how the RWF appeared on TWF TV back in 2002, when they infamously took over an episode of RAW, at the height of Marz's infamous "WWE-copying" scandal.

-- NJS was said to be delighted at the way the crowd is reacting to his friend Matt Hardy's plight in America. Biggie, who was said to be close to Edge, is immensely disappointed in him and the two haven't spoken as much since the incident first came to light. NJS, as documented, has been seeing TWF colleague Louise since the incident came to light a few months ago.

-- Team EV are said to be reportedly negotiating contract extensions at the moment and look like they will sign. AJ Jeffers is considering his status, but Mr. BIG has promised big things for him. Biggie says he feels AJ could be one of the big players in the new TWF World Championship program he is setting up. There is talk that AJ Jeffers, Mastermind, The Assassin and The Terminator are going to be the four big names feuding for the TWF World Championship until late 2005.

-- Biggie has also reportedly promised NJS a second TWF World Championship reign before he retires. There is speculation that it may come as early as August at Summer Break, but Biggie is contemplating whether to let The Assassin continue with the belt until after such a date. An interesting idea suggested by a writer this week is that Biggie returns at the 'Hell's Motel' PPV and when he does, it's with a big publicity campaign, and he returns as NJS's manager. Biggie says that the return idea is a good one, but Biggie acting as NJS's full-time manager was an idea he shot down quite quickly, insisting he does not want as big a TV presence as he used.

-- Biggie has indicated that he will be off all TWF TV for a long time, only returning when it is absolutely necessary. Biggie will however be on screen as xWa Xtreme Overdose in a few weeks, and will also be at Summer Break VI for the Hall of Fame inductions.

-- Having heard of the XCW's return PPV next week, the TWF has officially announced that it has pulled out of participating xWa Xtreme Overdose 3, leaving the event to be pretty much cancelled. This is unofficially the end of xWa Supercard shows, as the TWF does not think it can commit to doing any more. However, the TWF has hinted that it might do some Saturday night specials in the future, with one coming up in October, to replace them.

-- Mr. BIG's status surrounding the XCW PPV is uncertain. He has told NJS he would like to be involved, some way or another. There is talk he may wrestle, there is talk he isn't. All we do know, is that the TWF MD will be involved in some capacity and is XCW's "biggest fan" backstage, and would do anything to help the promotion.

-- It's around this time of year, silly season begins. In other words, which superstars will be leaving and who will be joining/getting called up. We are hearing some interesting names leaving. Bekah, who has just joined, is likely to leave. The Blood Brothers are likely to go their separate ways because of Luke & Todd's musical careers possibly taking off. In terms of names coming in, there are only 3 names really being mentioned: Disturbed, Echo & Zero; Mr. BIG's "2nd generation" students from the Asylum.

-- Big Martin, who has only recently joined the TWF on a full-time basis, may be thrust into the limelight soon. The writers feel they have some interesting ideas for him and that he could be a good fit in the locker room.

-- Since Against All Odds, the locker room has been full of reminisce mood, particularly after the card that was wrestled.

-- The TWF's outdoor programming will begin on July 6th, with Grit BasH live on Coney Beach. It is expected to be the first TWF TV show of the year, but we are honestly keeping our fingers crossed for that one! The TWF will then hold outdoor TV shows @...Cae Gof Rugby Pitches, Waterton Cross, The Brewery Field, Newbridge Fields, GCourt Green [Total Chaos], LCourt Green, MCourt Green, Summerhill Drive Park and finally, they will remove the awnings for the first time at Llandow Aerodrome.

-- The TWF has begun negotiating with acts to perform at Summer Break VI in Las Vegas. Some of the musical names being tossed around are quite unusual, but nonetheless interesting. Megadeth are one name the TWF are desperate to get, but that will depend on the Gigantour tour schedule. Queensryche are yet another name mentioned, but they are in the process of writing a new record. Avenged Sevenfold are a name being mentioned, but they would be unlikely to perform unless they perform the Summer Break VI theme song, which is unlikely to be decided until Total Chaos, when the first "xx days to go" trailer of the hype season is shown.

-- The Terminator recently opened up and revealed his change of heart about returning to the TWF. You may remember after Shockwave, Terminator and long time tag partner AshTaker wrestled a "farewell match", but returned to aid The Fox at Bash at the Beach. Well, Terminator basically said he wasn't happy sitting around and felt he could bring something back to the table that he felt the TWF had been missing. The TWF agreed and let him back in.

-- For all of those wondering where The AshTaker is now, your guess is better than ours. NJS, who's house is closest to The AshTaker's, said that the last he saw of The AshTaker, he was driving off in his moped. AshTaker has also been open about his new found addiction to steroids. The AshTaker is not interested in a return, and the TWF has insisted if he does want to return, he can only do so if he goes clean.

-- High Voltage. One name that will evoke a lot of emotions in a TWF fan. Well, there are yet more rumours flying about of his return. With a lack of real main eventers after Summer Break (the only people the TWF consider to be there will be Frekishi, Bandit, JT Money, NJS & Marz), there is talk HV may return. But, Mr. BIG has been pretty clear that after Summer Break VI, it's gonna be his ship. The TWF still books many angles around Summer Break, so after SBVI, it will be Mr. BIG's promotion, really. Biggie wants to take the TWF off into a different angle, giving some real thought to some of the storylines that have been used lately. Biggie wants to turn the TWF around into a more "sport" based approach that it had back in mid-2000, rather than the "entertainment" approach there's been since the internet explosion of 2002. Biggie says the entertainment may now go to the RWF, rather than TWF.

-- Speaking of Mr. BIG, he surprised the wrestling world by showing up at a PCW event on Sunday night. Biggie's many old adversaries, such as The Defender, Jamie Fry and Mr. J Hughes were among the PCW contingent who invaded the New Year's Day RAW in 2001. To the shock of the crowd, Biggie showed up, clocked each member of PCW with a steel chair and cut a shoot promo about the promotion, before leaving to a mass of cheers from the crowd. PCW sources say Biggie's appearance was planned, but they did not like the manner in which he appeared and how he dissed the promotion, calling it "second-rate" and "about as bad as NCW". But yet the crowd continued to cheer...

-- We believe that the TWF is close to calling up some new female wrestlers to help improve the underfire women's division in a few weeks to help relief Libra of her title.

-- The TWF has announced the dates, venues and names of the rest of the 2005 PPVs.

* June 12th - Against All Odds - Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
* July 24th - Total Chaos - GCourt Green, Brackla
* August 21st - Summer Break VI - MGM Grand Garden, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
* September 18th - Hell's Motel - Spar Arena, Brackla
* October 30th - Halloween Hell - TD Waterhouse Centre, Orlando, Florida, USA
* November 20th - Dangerously Serious - Rhys Reed Entertainment Centre, Wick
* December 18th - PayBack - Bethlehem Life Centre, Cefn Cribwr

The biggest change there is that for the second year running, there is no King of the Ring PPV. The TWF will also not hold it's September PPV at the Cefn Cribwr Community Centre for the first time. Instead, Cefn will get the last PPV of the year at it's brand new Life Centre, with improved facilities compared to the rundown community centre.

-- Hawke and The Protégé have had a butting of heads in the past week backstage. Protégé has accused his girlfriend of "playing them off" against each other and he is unhappy about it. Incidentally, Mr. BIG was with Protégé on the day this incident arouse and when it did happen, Biggie spent almost an hour with Protégé sorting it out.

-- Some TWF wrestlers have expressed concern that Mr. BIG has "sold out". It has been noted recently that Biggie is spending less time with "his friends" and more with "his enemies". Others have said that Louise and Bekah have Mr. BIG wrapped around their fingers. Biggie has been quick to shoot these rumours down, stating that with more time thanks to his new role as MD, he can afford to spend time with a different group of people thank he normally does.

-- What it has given Biggie though, is the idea of a heel turn. Biggie says that he is now confident he can go back to being a heel should he return, with the angle being that he sold out to his friends. Biggie has kept saying that he will only return "if it's absolutely necessary". Well, what's absolutely necessary? The TWF is in no financial state of ruin at the moment and the only reason TV shows have not been scheduled is due to the backlog of shows the TWF have yet to hold. The TWF's ratings are not in deep trouble either...Biggie has also noted if he returns, he will change theme music. He is currently using 'The Extremist' by Joe Satriani instead of 'King Nothing'.

-- Biggie has been telling friends that ITV are a bit hesitant to want a second series of "The Last Word". Many critics have said that Biggie's show is the first to crack the daily late-night chat show format that rules in America, but has always failed in the UK. ITV are also considering getting another host for Pyramid, despite the fact that many felt Biggie was part of the shows success. Biggie owns rights to the Last Word since it is a TWF venture, and Sky are considering picking the show up and airing it on Sky One on one condition...they get back some TWF programming.

-- Hawke recently had a meeting with Mr. BIG and dropped a huge bombshell. He is not leaving. The TWF had been preparing itself for Hawke's departure with turning The Assassin heel and making him the #1 heel, but now Hawke has returned, it all seems a bit stupid. However, the TWF has said that Hawke will be written out of storylines after Summer Break, with the possibility of a return later in the year.

-- The Protégé however, will still leave. Jean Claude Van Slam, The Vamp, Gareth Cole, Matthew Jones, Adam Taylor and Stephen Dimmock however all look like they WILL be leaving. Bekah has raised a few eyebrows by confirming she will stay. We are told Mr. BIG was a swing factor in the decision.

-- The PCW invasion of the RWF has been met with mixed reactions in all of the xWa locker rooms. The RWF guys feel it is a great way to test their skills against members of other promotions and it will improve the RWF's name. The TWF and XCW guys feel that this is a bad move and if anything, both promotions will lose a lot from "going to war" with each other. It is expected the angle continues for around 3 months with a conclusion coming around October.

-- NJS recently spoke in an interview with Sky magazine of his new found happiness with Louise. NJS says "a part of me will never recover from what [Lita] did to me, but I've moved on. Louise is my everything now. I don't know what I'd do without her. I just wanna thank Biggie for knowing how much we cared for each other from a far and bringing us close together". NJS also said in the interview that he hopes to get XCW back up and running to some extent soon, after being down for as long as the TWF has. XCW still holds a slight lead over the TWF in the independent Welsh Rankings thanks to the two TV shows they aired this year.

-- The TWF finally appears to have found a band to play Summer Break VI...Disturbed. Disturbed's new release, "Ten Thousand Fists" is released in September, and the TWF wants to acknowledge the contribution Disturbed has made musically in the last few years by bestowing apon them the Summer Break theme. Disturbed are not the only band expected to be in attendance. Again, Avenged Sevenfold are one name being thrown around, and there is also talk of Story of the Year showing up.

-- With Total Chaos tomorrow night, there is a strong feeling that this is one of the TWF's weakest PPV Cards since Shockwave. What many are overlooking is the fact that the PPV that follows it is the biggest one of the entire year, Summer Break VI, and the TWF doesn't want to risk losing some of the heat for it's biggest card of the year because it wants a blockbuster card.

-- However, reaction to the return to television has been amazingly positive. Mr. BIG conducted a straw poll before FURY and asked wrestlers what they felt of Grit BasH and it got an overwhelming double thumbs up from the wrestlers.

-- Although this year's Summer Break has yet to take place, there is already talk for a card for next year's event! One backstage source has said that one idea ping-ponging between the writing team's heads is a Grudge Match between Hawke and a returning for one night only Protégé due to their legitimate heat. Keep your eye on that one.

-- Mr. BIG was the first to congratulate TNA when it officially announced it's deal with Spike TV to broadcast iMPACT! from October. The xWa and TNA have developed a strong rapport over the past few years and the two have developed a good working relationship, with the TWF always willing to publicise TNA when in America.

-- Sky dropped a HUGE bombshell this week when it announced that it has picked up The Last Word...with Mr. BIG to air on Sky One at weeknights @ 10pm for an hour, confirming the rumours that ITV didn't want to pick the show up for a second season...but more importantly, Grit BasH, from next week, will return to Sky Sports 1 at it's old time of 8pm. WarZone will also return and be aired on Mondays and Thursdays all over the Sky network. Sky will also show one Grit Bash encore and the xWn will retain rights to show it on Sundays for it's "Sunday Encore" line-up. At the moment, we hear that in that slot some MLB & NHL games will be broadcast. The xWn also announced this week that it is picking up the rights to show PWA/HDW Rampage.

-- Backstage reaction to XCW Back With Avengeance was extremely positive and many TWF wrestlers were very happy with the show. One highlight was Mr. BIG's appearance and his impromptu match with Disko Stu, that was seen as Biggie showing once more that he is more than willing to put over up-coming talent, although Disko Stu is an XCW veteran. Another highlight was the brutal XCW Intercontinental Championship ladder match that saw Deadman leave victorious. The TWF has picked up on the response to some of XCW's backstage interviews and now feels that they want theirs to be a little more comedic. The "Norbert Haug" joke at the XCW show got some of the biggest laughs of the evening.

-- Backstage news now. Hawke & The Protege's heat towards each other is growing by the day and it appears that the locker room is divided on the issue. You may remember that the issue is over Protege's girlfriend "playing the two off against each other" to see who is best. Protégé didn't take to that too kindly and the two have hated each other since. However, Protégé has gained a huge reputation for being a womaniser and has dated a "whos-who" of TWF females, from Holly to Bekah to Louise to former valets from the TWF-2000 days.

-- The Jocks are said to be glad to finally be out of the limelight after their angle with Mr. BIG & NJS finished. Jason Davies was quite vocal in the fact that he didn't feel he was up to the task of main eventing the shows with someone like Biggie. Karl Davies, many said, was probably the most capable man out of the four of being able to keep up thanks to his friendship with Biggie.

-- Deadman has again been very vocal about his position within the TWF. Deadman feels that he should be a little further up the card and that he shouldn't be in the tag-team division. Biggie had a quiet word with him and all seemed well. NJS also told his brother that the TWF has handled the Deadman persona "perfectly" and are treating it with respect, so much so, Deadman is being feared by little children again. That, it is famously said backstage, is the sign of a "dark" gimmick's height, when little kids are said to be scared of it.

-- Big Sexy Badass & Silver, despite many rumours, will not break off into singles careers just yet. Although both were successful in their XWF days, they will wrestle more often on their own, but will continue to team up.

-- There were strong rumours pertaining to an AshTaker return to the TWF soon. The TWF has denied this, saying that they have had no contact with The AshTaker since Bash at The Beach in February. His long-time tag-team partner The Terminator has said that The AshTaker has now officially retired and that he is now helping to run his father's business.

-- Finally, for all those wondering, Doug Edwards continues to have a presence in the day-to-day running of the TWF. Although he is not the MD, he is still present at the Friday Board Meetings and has intended to be present for TWF Summer Break VI in Vegas. Mr. Edwards is also very prominent in the day-to-day running of the TWF and has continued to develop a strong rapport with much of the office staff. In fact, the whole office staff have commented that the Edwards family in general "really take you in and make you feel like one of them". In a recent survey, the TWF and XCW were tied as the best places in the UK to work.

TWF News and Rumours 2005 XIV

-- With just hours to the opening bell of the biggest Pay-Per-View of the year, the feeling amongst industry analysts is that the TWF, in perhaps it's poorest year since 2001, must deliver a blockbuster show to really cement it's status. The TWF has organised what could best be described as a blockbuster card, with obvious draws including the xWa Championship match where Silver where enter as underdog to Ottobomb, NJS & Marz finally finishing the score, and a Fatal Four Way between the four men who have battled for the World Title for the past few months.

-- One criticism of the show's card is that many feel the TWF should have booked Mr. BIG on the card in some capacity. Biggie has confirmed he will not wrestle at Summer Break for the very first time in the event's history, preserving his unbeaten record at the event. There is no word that he will be on screen during the show, as the segment where he is most likely to be on screen, the Hall of Fame announcement, has been advertised as being with Chairman of the TWF, Mr. Edwards instead. Perhaps this is a sign of things to come. The TWF has always made plans around Summer Break from the very beginning of the promotion, and plans for next year's event are already beginning to take shape. Hence, this Summer Break was not shaped by Mr. BIG, hence his objection to involvement, apparently.

-- Speaking of next year's event, already the rumours of the venue of Summer Break 7 [VII] have been floating around. Chicago's Soldier Field is one prospective venue, as is the Tropicana Field in St. Petersberg, Florida, which held the successful US Only PPV Zero Tolerance in 2001. However, Summer Breaks 2000, 2001, 2002 & 2005 have been in the US, leaving the TWF's home country, Wales, in the dark for it's biggest event. Hence, popular opinion, that the TWF has backed up, is that 2006's event will be in Wales. The prospective venues include the Brackla Community Centre, Air Wales Arena (although it would mean giving up it's traditional February slot), the Cardiff International Arena, the Bridgend Dome and the Millennium Stadium. The Millennium Stadium was hotly tipped to host the event this year, but some stumbling blocks were found upon. The biggest hint of all that we have heard is that the Brynteg Arena has announced in a promotional flyer that "something Far Beyond Reason is coming...", leaving many to believe that it will get the event.

-- The TWF is having a race against time to devise the "Hell's Motel" match that will form part of the September PPV this year. The TWF was extremely close to cancelling the whole gimmick and going back to calling the show Eve of Destruction II. But, the TWF is confident a Hell's Motel match will take place. Original ideas involved a hell-in-a-cell being set on fire, but the TWF looked at costs and realised that wasn't going to be possible. It now appears that the TWF will go with a concept of sections of a hell-in-a-cell wrapped in barbed wire, with re-enforced steel surrounding the cage, with the objective steel being that of escape.

-- For all the traditionalists, worried about the usual September PPV past times, there will be a King of the Ring match this year, with the winner gaining a Title Shot at Dangerously Serious against the TWF World Champion, and the King of xTreMe match will return with a new "twist".

-- Some interesting gimmick ideas have been floating around the TWF Creative Team's heads recently, mainly for the new BCW graduates who will debut between now and Christmas. Obviously, the success of Hades, who was one of the creative team's first jobs since being re-structured after SB last year, has spawned on new ideas. The creative teams are happy to C&C mainly the wrestlers ideas themselves and that usually works. Many have said that the more experienced wrestlers such as the XWF contingent are extremely good and help them out an awful lot.

-- NJS's first batch of graduates will debut around the same time as Mr. BIG's. There is a good chance that NJS's graduates will also be in XCW at some point as well, and there is talk that they could form part of a "New Z-Pack" with NJS as leader. The chances of this happening are good, but it is unlikely to carry the Z-Pack name, as one of it's founding fathers, Marz, Mr. BIG or The Shott will not be a part of it.

-- The Rat Pack will not be splitting anytime soon. The members themselves say that are enjoying the angles they are doing at the moment and would feel that they would be ruining their momentum if they were to split. Holly's return at Total Chaos had been planned as well. The TWF felt that taking her off TV would be a good way for the Jocks to improve their mic work and most have agreed that all of the members of the group have improved in some way without her. Expect the skits involving the "Captaincy" of the group to continue, as the wrestlers themselves say they look forward to them and enjoy them a lot.

-- The Protégé continues to be a source of controversy, even as Summer Break will be the last date he works before he leaves to begin his new role as Head of Production of a Drama school in London. Protégé has been seeking confrontations with Jason Davies and Hawke this week over female-related issues, and it's again been the source of plenty of locker room discussion.

-- The Bandit & JT Money have been commented in the Chicago press lately as saying that they are looking to take a few months off after Summer Break to recharge their batteries. The two missed some action last year due to transport & visa issues, but now they have resolved, the two have had a difficult year out of the ring, and they have recently moved in with a few friends to an apartment in Cardiff for their UK-based dates, and an apartment in a Chicago-suburb for most of the year. Mr. BIG has kept in close contact with the two, along with Ottobomb and Dope C, and they may return before the end of the year, it seems.

-- Mr. BIG's personal hatred for PCW is beginning to boil over big time in the RWF, and most of the RWF talent say that Biggie is a ticking bomb, waiting to explode on the PCW invaders. The segment with Sian at Bloodlust was rather personal. Biggie said after the show on the RWF website that Sian had stabbed him through the heart with her actions. Biggie has tried getting a hold of Sian for her side of the story, but she has not answered her calls. To all those wondering, Louise & Sian's comments were shoot, and Biggie's interruption was not planned whatsoever. Rumours about Biggie & Louise came about after Louise was seen consoling and hugging Biggie whilst being out in a Porthcawl park. Biggie has yet to make a move on a female, as his former TWF manager Bekah is seeing someone else. A return to Sian's hands is completely out of the question as well after her actions at a house party, where she was fondled by High Voltage.

-- NJS has again been doing a lot of press interviews recently to publicise the TWF, XCW and some general things. He stated that XCW will be back on a more full schedule at around October, in preparation for their anniversary show, Halloween Chaos, where they will debut HDTV xTreMeVisions. On the TWF, NJS says that he "loves every second" he is in the promotion and doesn't want it to any, saying he has never experienced anything like it. On Louise, he was quoted as saying, "she is my everything". NJS also revealed that when he does eventually retire, he would still like to be involved in the TWF, be it as a trainer, announcer or something along those lines. NJS also revealed that he has heard Mr. BIG's band's new album and he reckons that it will be a huge hit in the metal charts, describing it as "a great mix of thrash & power metal, with some amazing rip-roaring guitar solos that you will love". There is one problem on that front, that NJS was himself quite humorous about..."they lack a vocalist and a drummer, and since I can't do both, they are a little bit screwed there!".

-- The TWF has confirmed that it is in discussions with THQ to produce a second TWF Wrestling Game for all consoles, with this one being entitled "Power And Glory". It is likely to be released in Spring 2006 and will feature improvements to the current game structure, brand new match-types, EVERY member of the TWF roster being included once more, more movesets and graphical improvements as well. Discussions for the soundtrack are also in place and same artists that featured on Summer Break will feature new and old tracks on Power And Glory.

-- Speaking of music, the TWF is putting together "TWF: The Music Volume 4", that could be released around the time of Dangerously Serious, featuring some of the new theme songs that have been used this year. Already confirmed are Mr. BIG's "King Nothing" and RWF themes, NJS's new cut, Z-Pack, The Rat Pack, Frekishi's theme will finally appear and also some old-school wrestler themes. The TWF has also announced that this year it will release PPV Theme Songs onto a CD released over Christmas with an enhanced section to see event highlight videos and the videos for the actual songs.

This is likely to be the final TWF News & Rumours for a very long time, so buckle up.

-- Mr. BIG was quoted as saying on The Last Word last week that the TWF is likely to return at a later date, possibly March 2006, for a one-off show celebrating the promotion, in much the same way ECW had the One Night Stand show earlier this year. If that is a success, Biggie will relaunch the TWF with a brand new roster, unlikely to include many of it's current stars.

-- A status report on some TWF stars and their new careers...
* Hawke has finally decided to give up wrestling and has moved to London to start a new career in acting. High Voltage has stayed in touch with him, whilst himself forging out a new career in sports management. He will however continue to be onboard with the RWF. The Shott and his wife, Cameron, have started up a family business. Marz continues to drum in a band. The Bandit, JT Money, The Assassin, Mastermind, Big Sexy Badass & Silver continue to wrestle and are likely to return to the TWF should it ever reform. Ottobomb has decided to major in Sports Journalism in Boston University. Dope C has gained a hockey scholarship to a school in Western Canada.
* Brownie, Blonde Man, Jason Davies & Karl Davies have all returned to playing Rugby. The Blood Brothers have divided their time into Musical & Sporting interests. Holly, Louise, Bekah, Amee and many of the other TWF valets have all gone into modelling and acting. Stephen Jenkins & J-Fox have become a roadies for Mr. BIG's heavy metal band, Nytrus. AJ Jeffers has gone on to study chemistry and hopes to become a Doctor. Frekishi continues with his rally endeavours and still hopes to one day be chief mechanic on a WRC team.
* Libra has gone on to become a very successful artist. The Terminator has returned to school to finish off degrees. Blade has also returned to school. Owen Carl has gone back to Japan to continue running his successful electronics firm. Big Martin and his band have gone on tour with Mr. BIG's band. Hades has turned to American Football, but is likely to return to wrestling in the near future.
* Mr. BIG, of course, has continued to host his thrice-weekly Chat Show, 'The Last Word with Mr. BIG'. He continues to be a member of his band 'Nytrus' under the persona Biggie Ellefson. Biggie is also a regular face on xWn NHL & ELITE broadcasts, providing his knowledge of the game of hockey.

-- With the sudden, tragic loss of Eddie Guerrero, Mr. BIG has decided to do a one-off return to the ring for a special tribute show he has organised for next Wednesday, November 23rd. That show will be broadcast on the xWn and it is likely that many xWa stars will participate. JCVS has also said he will perform, along with Marz, The Bandit, JT Money and The Assassin.

-- The Brynteg Arena has shocked many by suddenly expanding into the arena car park. The BCW buildings have been revamped and a new set of rooms are being built, leading many to believe that whilst the TWF has gone dormant, BCW will continue to expand.

-- NJS has quietly faded into the background since the demise of both the TWF and XCW. Whilst continuing to make periodic appearances on TV & Radio, he has not achieved the profile many believed he would. Biggie and him have also spoken less and less lately, although this is perhaps blamed on a multitude of issues.
