RWF Fear the Fury
April 17th 2005
Rhys Reed Entertainment Centre, Wick, Vale of Glamorgan

The opening highlight reel went over what went down at WrestleFest last month and the matches we will see on tonight's show.

The RWF theme song begins to play and the crowd is already on their feet cheering as the camera pans around the ring and then up to the fireworks which go off above the ring. The camera stays focused on the top of the RREC and look at the Steel Cage that will be used later tonight in the Tournament Finals for the RWF Tag-Team Championships. Joey Styles and Arn Anderson were again on-hand to call all the action tonight.

To begin the show, there was some 6-Man Tag action between The New Blood: Blade, Ripper and Dead and the reunited Blood Brothers of Luke, Matthew and Todd. Both teams are considered veterans with loads of experience, but never against each other. Blood Brothers seemed to dominate though, with Matthew hitting the Brynteg Cutter on Blade for the victory. The crowd gave both teams a varied reaction, but Blade was not pleased that his recent TWF rival had picked up yet another victory against him.

Backstage; new RWF recruit Jeff Meecham interviewed The Assassin ahead of his big RWF World Championship match later tonight. Assassin said to his opponent, Frekishi, that he will do whatever it takes to brake Frekishi and remain the champion, because, simply put, he is better than everybody else in the RWF. The crowd gave Assassin a mixed reaction as he walked away from the interview.

An old score was settled in the next bout, between a returning Anthony Thompson and The Vamp. These two last fought each other at New Year Partee 2001 in a Steel Cage and blood was shed there. Since then, The Vamp has become one of the most feared men in all of pro-wrestling, and it showed, with Thompson mounting little momentum, leaving Vamp to hit a chokeslam for an easy victory. Vamp continued to beat down on Thompson until JCVS appeared, on crutches! After injuring his ankle at Easter HeAT, he walked down to the ring, and looked ready to unleash from fury on The Vamp, when he instead nails Thompson! The crowd is going nuts...Vamp and JCVS hug! The Dreem Team have been re-united! The crowd doesn't know what to think! JCVS leaves the ring on his crutches with Vamp aiding him up the ramp!

---- TWF No Way BacK - The Last Grasp Commercial ----

Returning from the commercial, Joey and Arn informed us that the next RWF show will be entitled "Revenge is Sweet" and will emanate from the Wick Community Centre, for one time only, on May 15th!

The Mangler took on Josh Jericho for the Genesis Championship in the next match. Whilst Jericho dominated most of the match with a speedy and aggressive display, Mangler managed to catch him off guard and smash him with the top rope Diving Elbow to win the match. Following the match, the Blood Brothers invaded the ring to back up Jericho, but quickly down came The New Blood to aid Cole. Both sets of men brawled to the back to huge cheers.

'Disconnect' then began to play and the crowd stood waiting until Mr. BIG showed up in the aisle! The crowd cheered as the xWa Representative showed up for the event. Following him close behind is his manager and good friend, Louise. Biggie entered the ring to cut a promo about how life is relatively good for him at the moment. He presents a successful game show on ITV1, The Last Word with Mr. BIG is doing extremely well in its slot and he is friends with a great bunch of people, and his band may even get a record deal soon. But, there is one thing that still pisses him off, it's that people still ask him about Marz, Hawke and Frekishi. Biggie says that the Triad are a disgrace to the human race and after spending time on the TWF BattleBus in Europe 2 weeks ago, he hates Frekishi even more for being a smelly, disgusting, perverted asshole. Biggie says that he, however, wants to turn his attention to Marz & The Shott. At RWF WrestleFest last month, both of them spat in the face of authority and tonight, he hopes that they pay. He hopes so much that he will be at ringside to announce the match with Joey and Arn. The crowd cheers as Biggie and Louise slide out of the ring with 'Disconnect' playing loud in the background.

The crowd was on their feet for all of the next match, between Frekishi and The Assassin. The two seasoned veterans gave their all in an explosive match, with the outcome providing a little shock. Frekishi seemed in control and the crowd booed viciously when he was ready to hit the Sit-Out Powerbomb. He hit the move, but Assassin powered out of the move, leaping to his feet and whipped the monster into the ropes, then picking him up and hitting him with an F5! The crowd stood in awe as Assassin covered and retained the RWF World Championship. Assassin stood over Frekishi and seemed to shout words to the effect that he cannot be beaten in the RWF and he will be the World Champion for a long time. Assassin taunts the crowd to a mixed reaction and gets in the face of the camera as he walks backstage.

---- TWF No Way BacK - The Last Grasp Commercial ----

We return from the commercial to see the Steel Cage being lowered around the ring with road agents, referees and stage hands all ensuring the cage is in place. Suddenly, the lightning bolts hit the RWF logo and the crowd explodes as the Commissioner, High Voltage walks down to the ring. He doesn't even flinch as he walks slowly down to the ring and circles the cage before taking his place next to the door. The rules of this particular cage match state that the match can be won via pinfall, submission or through escaping the cage. Deadman King & The Creator were first out, to the delight of the crowd. The two saw High Voltage, and simply stared him down before entering the cage. Marz & The Shott then came out to the biggest boos of the evening. The two walked past High Voltage, laughing and making comments, but HV simply ignored them. They entered the cage and the match begun. A few minutes later, smoke filled the entrance area and 'Disconnect' played once more, with Mr. BIG walking down to the ring. He sat next to Arn Anderson and Joey Styles and did an entertaining and informative job on commentary. The match itself was very fast-paced with action coming all the time and was a great indicator of how the RWF has improved since its return. Marz & The Shott had the match in the bag when they had delivered their respective finishing manoeuvres to Deadman King and Creator. Both men headed toward the door, which High Voltage guarded, but he refused to let them out! The crowd cheered as HV ensured neither man could get out, enabling Deadman King and The Creator to hit both men with their signature moves! Deadman King climbed over the top of the cage, but as Creator got halfway up, Shott pulled him back down and Marz & The Shott delivered a heinous 2-on-1 assault. But High Voltage opened the cage door and evened the score for Creator, but Marz and The Shott headed toward the door! But Biggie got up from his announce desk and slammed the door shut on both men, sending them back in to HV who delivered a double Electric Shock! Creator then covered both men to score the victory! The crowd cheered, but they were short-lived for as the cage began to rise, Frekishi and Hawke ran down to the ring and a mass brawl ensued, with The Triad and Shott beating the hell out of the new champions and the veterans. But we saw shades of 2-xTreMe as Biggie and HV worked their way through, only to be beaten back down. However, NJS and Louise made their way down to the ring to huge cheers and the ring was left with Biggie, NJS, Louise and HV. Suddenly, Biggie smiled and pushed NJS, whilst HV pushed Louise, into the middle of the ring. The two blushed before kissing to cheers. Biggie and HV smiled away, and Biggie passed around some Cherry Cokes to HV as Louise and NJS continued some kind of embrace, kiss, and hug to close the show.
