TWF Cyberslam 3
Sunday, May 22nd 2005
Soldier Field, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Theme Music:
'The Unnamed Feeling' - Metallica

The opening package shows highlights from No Way BacK 3, mixed in with recent events in the TWF since then. Each of the blockbuster matches that take place tonight are shown with some interesting quotes thrown in. Special prominence is given to the Square Ladder Match, The TWF World Championship match and the Biggie/Hawke encounter. The package closes with the image of Biggie walking down a hallway with his bags packed, into an empty parking lot.

'The Unnamed Feeling's opening riff kicks in to a HUGE roar from the crowd. "And now...HP presents...TWF Cyberslam 3". The fireworks go off to a huge roar from the crowd. The pyros go off and the capacity crowd of over 60,000 has packed Soldier Field to the rims for what will be a historic night in TWF history! The set is very similar to last year. The TotalTron is dressed up like a computer screen, with loads of TFT screens beneath it. Again, the stage itself is set out like a keyboard but has a TotalTron beneath it. We are shown a quick overhead shot of it as we are introduced to the ringside team; Scott Hudson and Michael King. Scott and Michael both say that they are tremendously excited to bring the TWF back to the US and to a magnificent stadium that has been sold out for many months awaiting this tremendous card, including the last match of a TWF legend.

'All The Rage' by Funeral for a Friend hits and it appears that someone has a new theme song! Out walks Stephen Jenkins with Hayley Holder and it looks like Stephen has a new theme based on his most famous saying "All the Rage". As they walk down to the ring, we are shown some pre-recorded comments from the duo surrounding the opponent for Stephen tonight. Both looked very happy and very confident going into this match.
'Torches' plays and the crowd boos as Josh Jericho strolls down to the ring ready for this match up. Having managed to re-unite the Blood Brothers, Jericho is beginning to be his old-self, cocky as ever, but he has the skills to back it up.
This was a great opening contest that really set the tone for the rest of the show. Both men were desperate to get the IC Title wrapped around their waist at the end of the match and showed lots of passion and desire to ensure they do so. The match eventually came to an end when Blanche, who had control at that point, was looking ready to hit a Superkick. He taunted the crowd to riotous boos and with the suddenness of a lightning strike, connected with the move. The crowd booed, knowing the match was all but over. However, Hayley Holder is never one to be counted out, and she quickly distracted Jericho. The two argued at ringside, and as Jericho turned around, Jenkins had nailed the Jenkins DDT! The crowd went insane as Jenkins rolled up Jericho...1-2-3!
'All the Rage' hit and the crowd went crazy. Holder grabbed hold of the IC Title belt and met up with Jenkins on the ramp. Blanche can't believe it! He has a look of "Eh?!" in the middle of the ring with Jenkins and Holder celebrating yet another victory. They walk backstage with huge smiles on their faces, whilst Jericho is still in the middle of the ring, amazed at how he lost that match.

Backstage; we see a long black limousine pull up in the parking lot. The driver gets out of the car, opens the door and out pops TWF Chairman, Mr. Edwards! The crowd cheers as he thanks the driver then heads toward the locker room.
Backstage; Mr. Smooth is standing by. Smoothy says that later on tonight, in one of the most highly anticipated match-ups in a very, very, very long time, will see Hawke take on Mr. BIG in what is Mr. BIG's very last match. With him is Hawke. Hawke gets MASSIVE boos from the crowd when he appears on screen. Hawke takes the microphone from Smoothy. Hawke says that tonight, he gets to slay a ghost that has haunted him for almost 5 years. Ever since he set foot in the TWF, he has had to live in the shadow of one man all of the way through - Mr. BIG. Tonight, in his very last match, Biggie will be embarrassed in front of the people he loves the most - the fans. Finally, Hawke will beat into Biggie something he has not realised for five years. There is some "Betta" than B-I-G. And that man is H-A-W-K-E. The crowd boos as Hawke walks away.

The crowd continues booing as we cut back to the arena. The boos then turn very vicious as 'Crush'em' hits. Yes, it's time to Run the Gauntlet! Jason Davies, Brownie and Blonde Man all walk down to the ring in their usual, matching Jock gear. Michael King explains that the reason Holly is not here is that since she was gassed at No Way BacK, she has not been seen or heard from, probably from embarrassment. The three jock men enter the ring and pose to huge boos from the capacity crowd. Scott Hudson runs over the rules of the bout, informing us that one man will start the match and should he lose; the next man will be brought in. If all three men lose, Hades keeps the TWF TV Championship. If one of the men defeats Hades, they become TWF Television Champion.
The lights go out and the capacity crowd is rocking...BAM! 'Down in the Catabombs' plays to a massive cheer, and out walks Owen Carl. He waits for a moment, and then out walks Hades, to quite possibly the biggest pop he's ever got. Carl, who has the TWF Television Championship on his shoulder, strolls down to the ring with his client, and Hades leaps over the top rope into the ring. There is a lot of arguments between the Jocks as to who will go in first, but Blonde Man eventually stays in the ring, whilst Brownie and Jason leave and sit down with Scott and Joey.
Hades made quite light work of Blonde Man to begin the match. Blonde Man was simply dominated, whilst Jason and Brownie continued to annoy Scott and Michael at the announce desk. Blonde Man was finished when Hades charged at him with the Underworld Splash. Hades covered and got the 1-2-3. As he did so, Brownie leapt up from his announce table position and helped his brother double team Hades. The two grabbed steel chairs and pummelled Hades hideously, with Owen Carl trying desperately to help his favoured client, but he ended up being driven to the back by referee Sophie Matravers. Brownie and Blonde Man continued their heinous assault until Brownie was eventually disqualified. Even then, the two showed no remorse, delivering a double karate kick into a steel chair onto the referee Matravers. The two were free to do as they pleased, until the steel drums of 'P.I.M.P' hit! The crowd went MAD! The Chairman is here! Mr. Edwards slowly walked out onto the ramp, and Team EV took no notice. Davies at the announce table was loving it. However, Edwards entered the ring and then came to Hades's aide! Edwards grabbed both Team EV members and delivered a double chokeslam! Hades was still down as Brownie came back up...and was hit with a Tombstone onto one of the chairs! Edwards got out of the ring, and grabbed a hold of Jason Davies, and threw him into the ring. Jason laughed, covering, but there was no referee, until Edwards himself made the count! Hades kicked out, but Davies was incensed, asking why Edwards could count the fall. Edwards simply replied "I'm the chairman!" and Davies was blindsided by a Hades clothesline to huge cheers. Hades saw Edwards and looked to head for him, but instead, Edwards shouted "Finish Him Off!" and the crowd went crazy! Hades picked up Davies and dropped him into the Hades Driver! Hades rolled Davies over and covered...1-2-3!
'Down in the Catabombs' hit as Owen Carl raced down to aide his client. Edwards grabs the TWF Television Championship and presents it to Hades to huge cheers. The three men stand over Davies, celebrating the victory, before walking backstage. Blonde Man and Brownie have still yet to recover from Edwards's beatings to them, look pretty annoyed as they pick Jason up and head backstage. But that cannot change the fact that Hades is still the TWF Television Champion!

Backstage; we see AJ Jeffers walking down a hallway, headed toward the ring, to a huge pop. His match with The Terminator is up next!

---- TWF Summer Break VI Commercial ----

Scott Hudson and Michael King welcome us back to a capacity crowd of over 60,000 in Soldier Field in Chicago who are watching some of the most defining moments in TWF history take place tonight. Michael says he really liked the Summer Break VI commercial and said it was really funny how it took the mick of the movie Sin City. Scott agrees and reminds fans that the PPV will take place in Sin City itself, Las Vegas, on August 21st 2005, live from the Thomas and Mack Center. Scott says he can now confirm that at the event will be Megadeth! Megadeth will be on hand to perform theme songs, amongst other things!

The lights go out, and 'Low' begins. The crowd boos loudly as The Terminator slowly walks out into the middle of the stage. He bends down on one knee and poses, with fireworks going off in all directions behind him. Terminator made his return to the TWF after months of absence at No Way BacK in a very unusual way, appearing in the middle of the ring, then disappearing inside the Gas Chamber. Terminator takes on an old nemesis right now in what will be a brutal contest. He enters the ring and bounces off the ropes, getting ready for the match.
"Ooooooohhhhhh........" the music cuts out. The crowd doesn't know what to think! Suddenly, the intro to 'Best I Can' by Queensr˙che plays! The choirboys sing, and when the guitar kicks in, AJ Jeffers appears on the stage! The crowd is now cheering loudly as AJ steps out onto the middle of the stage with a new kind of vigour, looking very confident at the same time. Terminator chooses to ignore AJ as he introduced to the ring.
These two wanted to beat the hell out of each other, and they did so. They have faced each other many times before, so they knew each other's strategies and move sets very well. This didn't take away from what was a great match between the two. AJ looked particularly vicious and was still looking very angry at being screwed out of the TWF World Title last month at No Way BacK, only for The Assassin to be granted the #1 Contender ship for the belt. Terminator wasn't really that interested in AJ's plight, rather his own, having had a good match with Mastermind a few weeks ago on Grit BasH, only for it to be ruined by interference from AJ and The Assassin. Terminator managed to intimidate AJ a little, and when he did, he pulled off some tremendous looking move, including a text book Osaka Street Cutter. Terminator then looked for Game Over. Terminator had looked to hit the move, but AJ dodged it at the last minute. AJ nailed Terminator with a clothesline and climbed up to the top rope. Terminator got up quickly though and AJ landed right where it hurts. As Terminator climbed to the top rope, AJ pummelled on him. Both men stood up on the top turnbuckle, but a well placed shot to the gut from AJ made Terminator look rather dazed. Suddenly, AJ placed Terminator between his legs! OMG! The Ice Hotel...from the top rope! OMG! The crowd has gone CRAZY! AJ slowly rolls over and drags his arm across. Referee Keith Jones hits the mat and counts the fall...1-2-3!
'Best I Can' plays and the crowd is still in shock from that amazing conclusion to the match that took a lot out of both men. Referee Jones lifted AJ's arm up into the air in victory, but it fell straight back down. After much cheering, AJ stumbled to his feet to a massive applause, rolling underneath the bottom rope and walking back up the ramp with the crowd chanting his name once more. AJ turns around, looks at Terminator still in the ring, smiles, and walks behind the curtain.

Backstage; we are in The Jocks's Locker Room. Blonde Man, Brownie and Jason Davies all look in pain when Karl Davies walks into the room. "The Captain" tells his team that their performance moments ago was dreadful and they should have known that Mr. Edwards was in the building. Blonde Man looks particularly angry at Davies and gets in his face, telling him that Karl hasn't beaten Hades either, so he can shut up about it all. Davies proudly boasts that he was a TWF Intercontinental Champion, but Blonde Man quickly comes back by saying he was a former TWF World Champion. The two continue their argument, looking like physicality would be involved until Brownie and Jason drag both men away. The crowd cheers. Jason says that they now have to get their minds focused on Holly's "wish" that NJS be taken out tonight. The crowd boos loudly as all 4 suddenly smile and look more like a team.
Backstage; we are in the Z-Pack Locker Room. NJS has one hand on the remote control of the TV, and the other on the TV. He laughs and turns the TV off. Louise walks in to cheers and NJS kisses Louise. Louise asks if he's ready for tonight. NJS says that he's gonna prove a point to Louise, that she's dating the very best wrestler in the TWF. Louise giggles and laughs, saying she already knows that. NJS then says that he's gonna tell Karl Davies to take his "captaincy" and shove it up his ass tonight. Louise says that sounds more fighting. Suddenly, some loud music coming out of headphones is heard and the door opens. It's Mr. BIG. The crowd has gone INSANE! Biggie is wearing a Chicago Bears jersey over his usual gear and dumps his adidas kitbag on the floor. Biggie walks over to Louise, kisses her hand and asks she leave the room a minute. Biggie turns to NJS and simply says, "Tonight, dude, if you want help, you got it. But it won't be from me. Tonight, I just wanna go out in style. If that's kool with you? Don't worry about after parties, Bandit, JT & I know all Chi-Town's hotspots. Tell Bekah I'm here and I'll be back in a minute". Biggie walks out of the room and NJS smiles as he does and Louise comes back in, smiling as well.

We return to the announce desk, where Scott and Michael are still discussing the closing moments of the AJ/Terminator encounter from moments ago. We are shown replays of the amazing top-rope Ice Hotel, showing the brutal impact of the move. Scott then tells us that the next time the TWF is on Pay-Per-View is for the annual festivities of Against All Odds, for the first time emanating from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario; in the shadow of the CN Tower and Roger's Centre. The event comes to you live on June 12th and kicks off at the slightly earlier time of 3pm EST in Canada, but still normal time of 8pm GMT in the UK.

'Masters of the Universe' hits and the crowd boos loudly as Ottobomb and Dope C walk down to the ring. Ottobomb has a microphone in hand, and halfway down the aisle, he asks to cut his music. Ottobomb says that he's back in the Windy City. The crowd cheers. Ottobomb said he read that Chicago has become a "World Class City". The crowd again cheers, but Ottobomb retorts "Yeah, full of world class assholes". The crowd boos loudly now. There's nothing world class about Chicago. Its landmarks are old and decrepit, its people are assclowns and its sports teams are beyond a joke. The Bulls have sucked since MJ left and this is a city where they go "Who the hell are the Blackhawks?" and "Go Wolves" What's wrong with you people? Otto says that tonight, in front of their fellow Chicagoans, The Sadist Nation are gonna be finished quicker than the NHL season.
Ottobomb suddenly gets cut off! The crowd goes APE SHIT! 'Bleeding Mascara' by Atreyu hits and the crowd is bouncing and cheering their hearts out. JT Money and The Bandit walk out from either side of the central video screen beneath the TotalTron to HUGE cheers. Bandit stops at the end of the ramp and does his usual pose to a massive cheer, setting off fireworks behind him. JT keeps walking down to the ring and Bandit soon follows. They wait for a moment before leaping into the ring and beginning the match.
This was an excellent old-skool battle between two old school rivals. This was the sort of match the crowd expected, so the crowd loved every minute of it. Both teams took part in great spot fests which will leave the crowd guessing as to what was the best part of the match. The rivals kept each other on their toes, but Bandit and JT had a distinct home field advantage, with 60,000+ Chicagoans going crazy every time they made a move. Ottobomb, from Detroit, made sure he blocked out the rampant Chi-Town crowd, and managed to shock everyone by hitting JT with the Mean Streets of Detroit. Dope moved in and looked to hit the Worm on JT, but was taken out by a spear from Bandit! Bandit came in and hit The Stupifier on Ottobomb as well! Dope C attempted to get back up at Bandit and used his light frame to try and hit a hurricanrana, but Bandit countered by hitting a HUGE Bandit Bomb on Dope! JT was already on the top rope and the crowd went APE SHIT! Money Shot! JT rolled over and covered and Bandit helped the crowd count...1-2-3.
'Bleeding Mascara' hit and the ENTIRE crowd is cheering and going crazy as Bandit and JT celebrate this famous victory in their hometown. Otto and Dope re-group and recover in the aisle, but Bandit and JT are milking it for all it's worth. They are posing in every way imaginable and livin it up, on this, a once-in-a-career opportunity to wrestle at Soldier Field in front of capacity crowd of people from your home town. It's sheer madness! The noise is deafening! Scott Hudson and Michael King are forced to turn off their microphones from all the noise the fans are making! Bandit brings out some Mountain Dew and shares one with JT before they eventually walk backstage to the biggest cheers we think we have ever heard in Total Wrestling Federation history!

Backstage; NJS and Louise are holding hands and walking down a hallway, headed toward the ring. The match with Karl Davies is coming up next!
Backstage; JCVS & The Vamp are discussing their tactics for the Square Ladder Match that is still to come on tonight's card, when their conversation is interrupted by Big Sexy Badass, Silver and Summer. Silver says that unless JCVS and Vamp forgot, last month at No Way BacK, the two teams met there and tonight, BSB & Silver will come out on top. The crowd cheers, but JCVS says that if they could beat them before, he can beat them again. Deadman & J-Fox then enter the room to cheers. J-Fox says that they can't forget who the only champions around here are at the moment. Tonight, they will be the ones to unite their titles with the TWF ones and become the best tag-team in the world today. All three teams enter a heated stare down before Deadman & J-Fox, followed by BSB & Silver leave, leaving JCVS and Vamp back alone to discuss their tactics.
At ringside, Scott and Michael introduce a video package for the next match, the match between NJS and Karl Davies. For both men, tonight is their day of reckoning and they get to prove to their peers and the people they mean the most to that they are the ultimate. Tonight, it's their chance.

---- Video Package ----
[BG Music: 'Reckoning Day' - Megadeth]

We cut from the video package to return to darkness at Soldier Field. The NJS-ohmmeter begins to countdown...3-2-1...N-J-S! BANG! Instead of 'Bring Me Down', 'Break the Walls Down' by Sevendust echoes through out Soldier Field as NJS appears in the middle of the stage. Louise follows him out, looking simply stunning in a sea green dress. Backstage; we see Mr. BIG smiling and cheering on NJS. The crowd roared with approval as NJS entered the ring and posed with Rachel Stevens giving him an introduction. He silently awaits Davies in the middle of the ring, with Louise looking eager to get on with the match at ringside.
The whistle is blown and 'I'll Do What I Wanna' hits to HUGE boos from the crowd. The self-proclaimed captain of the Jocks faction, Karl Davies walks down to the ring with a smile on his face and a cocky swagger, entering the ring and getting in NJS's face before the match even begins. Davies removes his Jocks jacket and then still gets in NJS's face before the bell is rung.
You could tell straight away that Davies was really game for this match up and looked determined to prove a point by leaving victorious. NJS countered everything Davies threw at him and had a few tricks up his sleeves for the Captain. Louise was there to cheer him on each step of the way and she did so with the backing of the crowd, most of whom were still stunned looking at her. NJS used his lighter frame to his advantage at many times during the match, speeding across the ring and avoiding any major impact from Davies's attacks. Davies did however manage to outsmart NJS by attacking him at every possible moment, even when NJS was receiving encouragement from Louise. Davies hit NJS with a vicious clothesline. Jason Davies then ran down to the ring and aided Davies by distracting referee Paul Bowen. NJS however ducked an attempted clothesline from Davies and Davies landed on referee Bowen. Davies now laughed as Jason leapt into the ring and double-teamed NJS. Hudson screamed for the help Biggie promised. 'Milkshake' then hit! It couldn't be?! The Davies boys stopped and stood gasping at the TotalTron and the stage. The song played through and there was no sign of Holly. The boys were about to continue their double team when NJS launched at them with a double clothesline! NJS threw Jason over the top rope and then whipped Davies into the ropes. Davies hit NJS with a well placed shot to the gut, looking for the Stunna, but NJS pushed Davies into the ropes. Davies came back in and NJS looked for the NJ-Stunner, but Davies pushed away from that as well! Davies went for a spear, but NJS dodged it, and hit the N-Factor! The crowd went crazy as Louise rolled referee Bowen over to see the cover. She stopped Jason from entering the ring and Bowen slowly counted....1.......2.......3!
'Break The Walls Down' hit and the crowd applauded as Jason went bananas at ringside. He entered the ring and attempted to look for revenge for his partner, but to no avail as he was greeted with another N-Factor from NJS. The Davies boys rolled out of the ring as NJS held the ropes open for Louise to enter. The two hugged and kissed before NJS did his usual poses on the turnbuckles. NJS steps off, plants Louise with a big kiss before leaving the ring and heading backstage. It appears the "help" came in the form of the distraction of Holly's theme. The Davies boys look on angrily at ringside as NJS and Louise kiss on the ramp once more before walking backstage.

At ringside, Scott Hudson and Michael King comment on the great match they just witnessed and inform us that the RWF will return with yet another event, World Domination 2, on June 26th 2005 from the Wick Community Centre. But, coming up next, it's time for the annual tradition. It's the 4th Annual Square Ladder Match! Thanks to the Z-Pack's vacation of the TWF Tag-Team Championships, the belts are literally up for grabs tonight. Also up for grabs will be the xWa Tag-Team Championships held by Deadman & J-Fox, since they are being unified with the TWF belts here tonight. And this is the 4th Annual match, so there is plenty of history, but only BSB & Silver have ever taken part in a Square Ladder Match before, so this should be very, very interesting.

---- Video Package ----

We return to ringside to see stage hands setting up ladders around ringside ready for this match. Already hanging around 20 feet in the air above the centre of the ring are the two TWF Tag-Team Championship belts on one ring. There is another ring that is in the ring ready for the xWa Tag-Team Championship belts. Hudson mentions that the winner is the first man to get the belts for his team. These can be either the TWF or the xWa belts. Rachel Stevens introduces the match to perhaps some of the biggest cheers of the evening, but they still dwarf the cheers that Bandit & JT got earlier.
The lights go out and the bell begins to toll to huge cheers. The loud roar of a 2005 Harley-Davidson can be heard through out the arena. Suddenly, there are TWO! Deadman and Ms. Sweet are on one, whilst J-Fox is on his own. Deadman rides down with J-Fox following behind. They circle the ring and avoid the ladder set-up in the middle of the aisle way. They pose with their belts before handing them to chief referee Bob Sage, who places the belts on a ring and the ring is then hoisted high above, next to the TWF belts. The two then warm up.
'Blood Brothers' then hits?! Out walk Luke & Toddie! The Blood Brothers are back! The crowd boos loudly as the team walks down to the ring and enter the ring without displaying much emotion. They warm up and await their opponents.
The lights go out......BAM! 'Try Us' hits and the crowd continues to viciously boo as Jean Claude Van Slam & The Vamp walk down to the ring. We are shown what happened earlier between the three announced teams for this match in JCVS & The Vamp's locker room. They enter the ring and occupy their own corner of the ring as we await the final entrants.
"CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES..." "THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!" The anthemic words of 'Last Resort' by Papa Roach are recited by the crowd as BSB & Silver walk down to the ring with Summer by their side. They have the biggest advantage of every team in this match - the experience. The crowd gives them a massive cheer as they enter the ring and occupy their corner of the ring. Each team stands in their own corner, each looking up at the two sets of belts high above the ring. Summer and Ms. Sweet leave the ring and the match begins with the 8 men meeting up in the middle of the ring and beginning a massive beat-down of each other.
With a match like this, the only thing you can compare it to is other Square Ladder Matches, and of the 3 previous battles, it surpassed them all in terms of quality. It was breathtaking to see how daring each man was to try and capture the gold for his team. BSB & Silver demonstrated their experience quite clearly, showing it at times where other teams in the past began to falter. They looked clear favourites to win this match having been in this environment before. But you couldn't rule out the Dreem Team, who between them have been Hardkore Champions more times than we care to mention and can also base themselves around this sort of attack. The rank outsiders seemed to be the reigning xWa holders, Deadman and J-Fox. Being lighter and shorter than their competitors, any damage done would be multiplied, but this was not the case. In fact, they used this to their advantage, quickly getting out of compromising situations and turning them around. All of the teams were tired at the end of the match and it was a physically shattering experience. However, one team would still walk out the Undisputed Tag-Team champions. BSB and Silver were again climbing one of the ladders, but JCVS and The Vamp pulled them down and climbed the ladders themselves. But, BSB came back up, grabbed JCVS...and hit a Super Big Hit from the ladder! The crowd went crazy! Silver and Vamp traded blows until BSB came up and aided Silver. Vamp eventually fell down from the near top of the ladder onto JCVS. The Blood Brothers came back in and toppled the ladder, and BSB & Silver landed on the outside of the ring! The Blood Brother begun to climb the ladder, but Deadman & J-Fox came in with chairs and clocked each of the Blood Brothers with steel chair shots to the back! The Blood Brothers didn't seem phased, so Deadman climbed up the ladder, held Blood Brother Todd, and delivered a Deadman Slam from the ladder onto a chair! The crowd's chants of "Holy Shit" turned up a notch after this. J-Fox seemed to go one stage further however. He climbed up to Luke and looked to hit a Piledriver from the top of the ladder...but he didn't, instead...he hit the Kryptonite Krunch from the top of the ladder! The crowd couldn't believe it! "Holy Shit!" they chanted. Deadman slowly climbed back up the ladder and grabbed the TWF Tag-Team belts for victory, then grabbing the xWa belts.
'Rollin' hit and the crowd stood up and gave a standing ovation to each man involved. Ms. Sweet stood over her men and aided them back to their feet, with both championship belts now around their waist. The camera looked around ringside at the sheer carnage caused by this match. It was insane! Deadman & J-Fox eventually got back on their motorcycles and slowly rode up to the top of the ramp. They posed with their new belts before riding behind the curtain.

Backstage; Hawke leaves his office in his wrestling gear with a huge smile on his face. That means that the Last Laugh, Mr. BIG's last ever match, is about to come up next! Scott Hudson and Joey Styles then say that this is going to be the end of an era. One of the men who was there on the very first TWF show, who has been around since Day 1, has finally decided to hang up his baseball cap and retire, and we will miss him. But, what a way to go out. In front of 60,000 people in the city that redefined his career, Chicago, Illinois.

---- Video Package ----
[BG Music: 'A Tout le Monde' - Megadeth]

We cut from an emotional video package to see Rachel Stevens standing in the middle of the ring. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the next bout is "The Last Laugh" and is scheduled for one fall!" - The crowd stands up and already begins rocking and swaying as this is announced with Scott remarking "For one last time...".
'What About Hawke?' begins to play as a mass of vicious boos and jeers from the crowd as Hawke walks out onto the stage. "Introducing first, from the Sanctuary, he is the Commissioner of the TWF...HAWKE!" - Hawke walks increasingly slowly down a long aisle way down to the ring, set up at the halfway line of the football field. Hawke enters the ring, and poses on each of the turnbuckles in turn with the commentators saying that Hawke will write himself into history tonight, no matter what happens. Suddenly, as Hawke gets off the last turnbuckle, the lights go out!
Jaymz Hetfield says for the final time..."Just Think About It...yeah-ah!" - The crowd went INSANE! The longest greatest hiTz intro plays before it comes crushing to a halt...BANG! "Where's your crown...KING NOTHING?" 'King Nothing' by Metallica echoes over the PA as Mr. BIG appears on stage in his usual pose; wearing the same t-shirt he wore on the first TWF show in 2000. He walks down the aisle, high-fiving fans on both sides of the aisle, with Hawke looking particularly motivated for this match. Biggie enters the ring and poses on the turnbuckles as he usually would, stepping off the final one and simply looking around at the capacity crowd, most of whom showing signs saying "Thanks for the Memories Biggie", "Don't Go Biggie" and most impressively of all, a picture in the sixth row of Biggie posing with the TWF World Championship in 2000, hand painted. Biggie phases it out and stares down Hawke as referee Peter Cavalli calls for the bell.
This match was...wow. No words can describe the emotions the fans went through during this match. Biggie and Hawke wrestled their hearts out, pulling out all the stops to show that THEY are the better man in the TWF. Biggie looked in tremendous shape and was pulling off amazing moves to counter some pretty good ones from Hawke. Hawke did take control at one prominent point, taking Biggie to the outside and hitting him with an Evenflow DDT through the announce table! Hawke took Biggie back into the ring, only for Biggie to kick out at a 2-count! Biggie then began a major offensive, first hitting Hawke with an Inverse DDT. Hawke countered a BIG Storm, but then found himself caught by a TradeMark DDT. The two men stumbled back to their feet, where Hawke caught Biggie with The Eye of the Hawke! Hawke looked ready to hit another Evenflow, but Biggie threw Hawke into the turnbuckle! The crowd went WILD! Firebreather! Some things never change! Biggie looked around and smiled! It's time for it! But, Hawke blindsided Biggie and when attempting a spear, missed and caught referee Cavalli! The two continued their brawl, however, with Biggie planting Hawke with The Equaliser! Biggie still looked for The BIG Storm. Hawke rose to his feet and again planted Biggie with an Evenflow DDT! The crowd was on their feet, screaming for Biggie to kick out! Hawke rolled referee Cavalli over, but as he did so, got caught by Biggie...THE BIG STORM! It had to be over! Both men were taken out now though. Biggie rolled over slowly...1...2...Hawke put a shoulder up! The crowd couldn't believe it! Hawke stumbled back to his feet and looked for his third Evenflow of the match, but Biggie reversed into an Irish Whip. Biggie then caught Hawke between his legs! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING?! THEY FLIPPED OVER...AND AGAIN! THE LAST LAUGH! THE LAST LAUGH! THE LAST LAUGH! The crowd went APE SHIT! Biggie pulled it out of the bag again! He rolled over slowly and barely dragged his shoulder across. Cavalli fell to the canvas...1...2...3!
'King Nothing' hit, and it's finally over. The crowd is overcome with joy at ringside, and as Rachel Stevens announces Biggie's win, the crowd is jumping for joy. Biggie suddenly stumbles to his feet, and poses on a turnbuckle, before stumbling across to another one. Biggie gets off that one, and sees Hawke struggling to his feet. Biggie grabs Hawke and helps him up. The crowd is silent as Biggie grabs a microphone. Biggie says "I tell you what Hawke, after 5 years of history between us, we pulled off a great match everyone can remember...possibly one of the best in TWF history. But now, it's over. I'm history. I'm done. And I have to say, coming into work on Wednesdays and Fridays won't be the same any more." Some of the crowd is moved to tears. "I can't come into work and know I'm gonna beat the hell out of you any more. It won't be fun. I just wanna say, after all the shit we've been through, it's been worth it. I don't know about you, but we've been good, these people have been great and I say we celebrate that". Hawke takes the mic..."Biggie, you're right. We'll all miss you, you big oaf. If you wanna see us celebrate, let's have a 'B-I-G'!". The crowd shouts "B-I-G" and Biggie grabs the Cherry Cokes, hands one to Hawke and simply says before downing one "Have Cool, Will Travel". 'King Nothing' plays and both men down their beverages to a massive applause. Biggie and Hawke hug before posing on the turnbuckles, whilst drinking their beverages. Biggie leaves, but Hawke calls him back in, and the two down more Cherry Cokes before Hawke holds the ropes open for Biggie. The two walk up the ramp together in quite a surreal sight. Hawke poses with Biggie before walking backstage. Biggie however stays out and poses on both sides of the ramp to huge cheers. Biggie then finally walks backstage, with the camera focusing in on the TFT Screens which simply say - "Thanks Mr. BIG".

We cut back to the arena, and to Rachel Stevens, standing in the middle of the ring. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the next contest, scheduled for one fall, is for the TWF World Championship! This contest will have no time limit, so a winner must be determined tonight, and by order of TWF Commissioner Hawke, this match will feature No Disqualification!" - King shouts "What?!" at the last part of that announcement.
As soon as he does, Soldier Field descends into darkness and the drums begin to kick in. As the bass picks up, the crowd boos...BAM! 'Trust [Instrumental]' by Megadeth blares over the PA at a massive volume. The Assassin slowly walks out onto the stage in his old-skool blue attire, complete with the Union Jack-style t-shirt. The crowd is quick to boo the Modern Day Messiah, but as he enters the ring, some sections of the crowd are applauding and cheering. "Introducing first, the challenger. From Orlando, Florida; weighing 325lbs, he is the Modern Day Messiah...THE ASSASSIN!". The Assassin gets down from the turnbuckle after he is announced and is checked over by referee Lee Williams.
The TotalTron fills up with images of circuit boards, computer chips and other such gadgetry...BANG! The godly bass line of 'Mastermind' begins to echo around Soldier Field to a massive pop. The stage fills up with sparks and smoke, and through it all, out steps the current TWF World Champion, Mastermind. "And his opponent; from Manhattan, New York; weighing in at 325lbs; he is the current, reigning and defending TWF World Champion, The One, The Only...MASTERMIND!". Mastermind leaps onto the ring apron and takes the title from around his waist and poses with it, before entering the ring. He hands the belt to referee Williams, who holds it up in the air as the bell is rung. Williams checked Mastermind over, before Mastermind and Assassin engaged in a long stare down.
This match was extremely intense and hard fought between two men who were desperate to have the championship wrapped around their waist. This was one of the best TWF World Championship matches we have seen in a good while. Although Mastermind had an obvious experience advantage, the two men were dead even on weight and Assassin had the guts to do anything. It was such a hard fought contest you could tell it would take something special to turn the match in their favour. And it did. After battling for over twenty minutes all over ringside, it looked like Assassin was going to do it. He had hit The Assassinator and was looking for the F-5. He picked Mastermind up, but Mastermind managed to roll Assassin over onto the floor. Mastermind whipped Assassin into the ropes and caught him with the Brain Scrambler! 1-2-Assassin kicked out?! OMG! Assassin just kicked out of the Brain Scrambler! The crowd couldn't believe it, and neither could Mastermind! Mastermind got straight back up, to be met with the big boot of the Assassin. Looking in pain from the effects of the Brain Scrambler, Assassin stood above Mastermind and delivered The Assassin's Elbow to massive boos. Assassin got back up and looked ready, yet again, to deliver the F5. Assassin waited, got Mastermind in position, but Mastermind countered with a Tornado DDT! Mastermind leapt to his feet, picked up Assassin and went for the Brain Scrambler! But, Assassin countered...F5! HE HIT IT! Assassin rolled over and covered...1...2...3!
HE DID IT! The crowd boos viciously! Michael King stands up at ringside and says "I know Joey isn't here to say it, but I will...OH MY GAWD!" Williams hands the belt to The Assassin who stands up and cannot believe it! Mastermind has rolled out of the ring and has exited quickly. Assassin stands on the turnbuckle and poses with the belt to a mixed reaction. He suddenly gets down off the top rope and just falls to the floor. He sets the belt out in front of him and just smiles. He gets back up and poses once more to another mixed reaction. He continues to pose as Scott Hudson says "We have a new TWF World Champion! Oh what a night to end a legacy!". The show ends with Assassin posing on the turnbuckles with the belt and a huge smile on his face.
