TWF Against All Odds
Sunday, June 12th, 2005
Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Theme Music: 'Emotional Drought' - Chevelle
The opening highlight reel shows us some highlights from previous Against All Odds, with particular emphasis on the Hell in a Cell match. Also highlighted is the four way feud that is dominating the TWF World Championship at this moment in time. The TWF invades Canada for the very first time on Pay-Per-View and we do so in the shadow of one of the world's tallest buildings. The video closes with a shot of the CN Tower, with lots of TWF superstar's faces surrounding it in the sky.
"And now...Molson presents...TWF Against All Odds 2005" - 'Emotional Drought' by Chevelle kicks in to massive cheers from the crowd are fireworks pour out of the bottom support of the TotalTron. The set is decorated in white and red, with Canadian flags on both sides of the TotalTron. The background of the set is made up of Canadian landmarks, with the left side looking darker with mountains, and the right side a little brighter with a CN Tower poking out of the top of the TotalTron. The cameras then pan up to see the Hell in a Cell hanging ominously above the ring. Scott Hudson is joined once more by Michael King for tonight's broadcast, as Joey Styles is announcing the ECW One Night Stand PPV that takes place later on today. They remind us that our main event is the TWF World Championship match between The Assassin and AJ Jeffers, but we also have a Falls Count Anywhere match, a Barbed Wire, Ladders, Tables match and of course, a Hell in a Cell match. Plus, we will find out which TWF superstars have been put forward to be nominated for induction into the Hall of Fame!
The bass riff of 'Like the Angel' hits and the crowd jeers viciously as Matthew Jones walks out onto the stage carrying the TWF Hardkore Championship. We are shown pre-recorded comments from Jones and his Blood Brothers, who have made a shocking return to the TWF in the past few weeks. Jones says that now they have been re-united, he is determined to carry the torch for the stable in the months to come.
'Always' by Saliva hits to huge cheers and Adam Taylor walks down to the ring carrying a trash can full of goodies, including baseball bats, hockey sticks, kendo sticks and Singapore canes. Taylor wastes no time and plants Jones with a cane shot to the head as the match begins.
These two contested a bloody opening battle, with both men looking to grab on to the glory of the Hardkore title. It was a fast paced contest that went all around ringside but remained in the ring for the most part. Jones, bloodied from the initial cane shot, had an offensive advantage for most of the match, but Taylor seemed to reverse it towards the conclusion of the match, particularly after hitting Jones with a vicious DDT onto a trash can. But, the Blood Brothers promptly stuck their nose in, with Josh Jericho racing down to ringside to clock Taylor with a trash can lid, leaving Jones to pick up the pieces and hit the Fisherman's DDT. Jones covered and got the 1-2-3.
The crowd booed loudly as the Blood Brothers celebrated their victory. They left ringside quickly, with a bloodied Taylor swearing of revenge. But the Blood Brothers have left this one with the belt intact, although a little bloodied.
Backstage; Louise is holding a microphone and is in a special part of the locker room. Louise says that she was told that tonight, she'd get an opportunity to interview someone. So, NJS and her spent a while on a special place to do the interview, and this is it. Welcome to Louise's Lounge. Louise says her guest is supposed to be an important member of the TWF and is a legend in this business. She says she only knows a few people like that, and she's dating one of them. Suddenly, there's a knock at the door, and Louise invites the guest in. The door opens and it is Mr. Edwards! Edwards says he doesn't know where the guest has gone, and he'd like to apologise to Louise for that. Suddenly, NJS comes in carrying some boxes. Louise asks what they are, NJS says that he doesn't know what they contain. Edwards says that they could be for the guest. NJS opens the box and the three look at it and smile and say that they are for the guest. NJS says knowing him; he's probably on his way here. The three leave, and the camera focuses in on the box's contents. Some soft drink cans. The crowd cheers as we cut to ringside.
'Crush'em {The Jock Mix}' hits to HUGE jeers from the crowd. This is the Six-Man Elimination Match for the TWF Television Championship belt! "Captain" Karl Davies leads out his troops for this match, Brownie, Blonde Man and Jason Davies. Karl enters the ring first and grabs a microphone. Karl says that here he is, back in Toronto for the first time in 2 years. The last time he was here, he kicked every Canadian rugby team's ass. Now, his troops are gonna kick some more ass and bring the TWF Television Championship belt back home to the Jocks. And if the Canadians don't like it, they can choke on it, mothercanuckers!
'Never Gonna Stop' by Rob Zombie hits, and the crowd gives a mixed reaction to Blade as he cockily struts out to the ring. A former TWF Hardkore Champion, Blade won the tournament 2 years ago to crown the very first TV Champion. Blade leaps into the ring and gets in the face of the Jocks, who on many occasions he has been asked to join.
The bass riff of 'Around the World' kicks in...BAM! The Protégé walks out to a massive reaction from the crowd. Protégé is yet another man who has been asked in the past year or so to re-join the faction which he was a member of in BCW. We are shown some comments from Protégé as he makes his way down to the ring, saying he will go all out tonight to ensure he's the last man standing and will get back his TV Championship.
The lights go out and the crowd is cheering...BANG! 'Down in the Catabombs' hits and the crowd goes CRAZY! Owen Carl walks out with the TWF Television Championship on his shoulder, and through the smoke comes Hades to HUGE cheers. The monster has been simply unstoppable since winning the TWF TV Championship at Bash at the Beach. Hades leaps into the ring and Carl passes the belt to referee Kevin Poole, who has been handed the task of refereeing this colossal match.
The 6 men fought their hearts out to be the last man standing and be the TWF TV Champion. It went down to the wire, but each elimination was fought to the very end and in the end, each man proved their case to be the champion. First to be eliminated was Blade. He was the victim of a vicious double team from Team EV, getting hit with a Double Karate Kick. The duo got their comeuppance however. Brownie was eliminated by Protégé thanks to a Tilt-a-Whirl Tombstone which got huge cheers. Brownie was chased away from the ring by Carl, who forced the Jock duo of Brownie and Karl Davies away from ringside. Blonde Man watched on, but turned around into a Hades Driver. Protégé was then eliminated by Jason Davies and referee Poole gave a double count, leaving us with Davies vs. Hades, a rematch from the end of the Gauntlet match at Cyberslam 3 last month. Hades again got the better of Davies, using his size and power to stop Davies from mounting a big offensive. Davies did hit the 3-Point Football Stance, but Hades powered out of a 2-count to huge cheers, getting back up and hitting the Underworld Splash, following it up by "finishing [Davies] off" with The Hades Driver. The crowd erupted as Hades covered and got the 1-2-3.
'Down in the Catabombs' plays once more to huge cheers as Carl enters the ring with the TWF TV Championship belt. He hands it to his prized client and Carl kneels down, bowing to him. Hades is still unbeaten here in the TWF since his arrival and he looks simply unstoppable. Davies has rolled out of the ring and scampers backstage, but Hades and Carl are still on top of the mountain.
---- TWF Passion Commercial ----
[BG Music: 'Disappear' - Hoobastank]
We return to the Air Canada Centre to see Libra already making her way down to the ring, with 'Someday' playing in the background. Libra rolls into the ring with her TWF Women's Championship belt on her shoulder and takes a microphone from ring announcer Elisha Cuthbert. Libra says that since October last year, when she won the One Night Tournament to become the TWF Women's Champion, she has defeated every female in the TWF a few times over. She is looking for a new challenge. Tonight, her opponent will be one making her debut. But, just like the rest, her future is bleak. And that's her Horoscope.
Some mysterious music begins to play and out walks her opponent. She is quite small in height, but looks quite quick. She is introduced as Chamera by Elisha Cuthbert, and Michael King says that she is a product of The Asylum and BCW. Chamera enters the ring and launches herself straight at Libra with a flying cross-body!
This match was very different and Chamera took it to Libra in a way none of her opponents in the past few months have. Chamera seemed quick, agile and powerful for her size. Libra used her vast experience to take the fight to Chamera and it was a great back-and-fourth contest. Libra had hit the Horoscope early on, but did not pin Chamera, instead continuing to beat on her, to the crowd's delight. Chamera however began to fight back, and from the middle of absolutely nowhere, hit a T-Bone Suplex! She rolled up Libra and got a pinfall! 1-2-3! It's over!
Chamera cannot believe it! Referee Sophie Matravers hands her the belt as she quickly leaves ringside! Libra cannot believe it! The crowd is booing Chamera viciously. What a shock! Chamera becomes the second person, behind Mastermind, to win a title on their TWF debut!
---- TWF Don't Try This At Home Commercial ----
'Bloodwork' plays to a chorus of boos from the crowd and it looks like we will get the IC Title match up next. Big Martin walks out, casting a shadow over the entire arena with his presence. At No Way BacK, Big Martin tried unsuccessfully to stop Hades, but tonight he has just a greater challenge when he faces Stephen Jenkins for the TWF Intercontinental Championship.
'All the Rage' then plays to huge cheers from the crowd and Hayley Holder leads out her man, the TWF IC Champion, Stephen Jenkins. Michael King comments that Stephen has become one of the longest reigning Intercontinental Champions in TWF history with his reign second only to The Terminator's reign almost 2 years ago.
This was a match that Big Martin looked destined to win. He held a significant height and weight advantage over Jenkins, but Jenkins has the vast experience edge. It seemed that experienced triumphed early on in the match, with Jenkins outsmarting Martin on many occasions. With Holder behind him all the way, Jenkins looked ready to hit the Jenkins DDT, but Martin grabbed hold and slammed him to the canvas. Martin replied with a huge big boot and repeated strikes to Jenkins. Jenkins got out of the strikes and leaped into the ropes and tried to knock Martin down, but nothing came of it. Jenkins flew back into the ropes again, but Martin caught him and hit him with the K-Mart! Martin fell to the mat with a Big Splash and got a cover...1-2-3!
The crowd booed viciously once more. It appears we have another title changing hands! Martin grabs the belt from referee Keith Jones and poses over Jenkins with it. Hayley Holder leaps into the ring and tries to get hold of her man, but cannot do so until Martin leaves. He stands at the foot of the ramp, all smiles, holding the TWF Intercontinental Championship high in the air before leaving.
---- TWF Summer Break VI Commercial ----
We are in Canada, and the camera takes some shots of the front of the Air Canada Centre to huge cheers, looking at the CN Tower and Rogers Centre that dominate the Toronto skyline. We return to the arena and to ringside to Scott and Michael, who remind us that we are counting down the days to Summer Break VI: Sin City, which will emanate from the MGM Grande Garden in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 21st 2005. However, the next time the TWF will be on Pay-Per-View will be for Total Chaos, on July 24th, from the GCourt Green in Brackla, adjacent to where it all began on PPV 5 years ago. Coming up next though, is going to be one hell of a battle, quite literally. The next match is the BLT #1 Contenders Match, and it will be only the second BLT Match in TWF history. You have to go back to The End is Nigh in October 2002, and a match between Mr. BIG & Hawke for the last BLT Match. The winners of this match will get the right to face the TWF Tag-Team Champions very soon.
---- Video Package ----
We return from the video to see that stage hands are finalising the ring ready for this match. The ropes have been removed and replaced with barbed wire. There are ladders all over ringside, with the biggest one set up in the aisle way. There are tables surrounding the ring and it looks like some people will get a huge rude awakening should they fall on the outside during this one. Hanging around 20 feet in the air is a glass briefcase, and inside you can see the contract for a match with the TWF Tag-Team Champions. Rachel Stevens announces this match from her desk with the time keeper and bell guy.
"CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES..." "...THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!" - The crowd goes mental as 'Last Resort' hits and Big Sexy Badass leads out Silver and Summer. The two tag-team legends walk down to the ring and look particularly ready for this match. Silver kisses Summer before she returns to the back. They enter the ring and look around at what surrounds them before standing in one corner of the ring.
The lights go out...BAM! 'Try Us' blares over the PA to a mass of boos and Jean Claude Van Slam and The Vamp, arguably one of the best TWF Tag-Teams in recent times, walk down to the ring. They too look particularly confident are will feel that they are in their element in this match, with all the hardkore implements surrounding the ring.
For the first time in what seems like an age, 'The Next Big Thing' plays and Marz & The Shott come out, introduced as 3-xTreMe. They fought a famous war with Mr. BIG & High Voltage for the name 'xTreMe' which Biggie and HV won. However, tonight they can get their chance to face the champions very, very soon.
"(These styles is unknown to)...The two headed dragon..." 'Masters of the Universe' plays and the xWa Champion, Ottobomb, and his loyal ally Dope C walk down to the ring. Otto and Dope are both former XWF Xtreme Champions and will also feel that this is their kind of match as well. Interestingly, all of the teams here have won at least 1 tag-team championship together, and all have won Hardkore titles of some nature, so this match will be very interesting!
This match was all you would expect from a hardcore tag-team bout. It was chaos and carnage from the get-go and all 4 teams went through a lot during the match. The barbed wires ropes were used intensively. Notably, JCVS, who usually goes shirtless in matches, wore a t-shirt during this match. It was a testament to every man in the match that they wanted a shot at the titles so badly they were prepared to do just about anything to win the match. The XWF contingent did the best they could using their surroundings, which was quite spectacular in the end. Each man left more bloodied than when they arrived and the match was a true definition of brutal. BSB and Silver brawled with Dope C & Otto for most of the match and drove each other through many tables. Meanwhile, in the ring, Marz was back to his old "Hardcore King" days, and with his partner the self-proclaimed "King of Hardkore" facing off against the true Hardkore Tag-Team legends in the TWF, it was great to watch. JCVS had already used the ladder to full effect when he drove The Shott through a table using his 5-Star Frog Splash to the hysteria of the crowd. Then, Ottobomb came in and hit the Mean Streets of Detroit onto JCVS, who was laying on the ropes in pain which sent him flying over! Otto was about to climb the ladder, when The Vamp climbed up the ladder, grabbed Otto and hit him with a choke bomb from the top of the ladder! BSB and Silver then double teamed Marz until Dope C came in and aided the Hardcore King and hit BSB and Silver with dropkicks into the barbed wire ropes. Dope C shook Marz's hand, but Marz roped Dope in and hit him with the OOTW Stunner! Marz then climbed up the ladder and with no-one else around, grabbed the briefcase and the contract! The crowd booed furiously as he did so.
'The Last Time Again' hit as Marz & The Shott were announced the winners. The Shott stumbled to his feet, and the two celebrated on the outside. Ringside was looking more like a battlefield, with blood, barbed wire, broken pieces of wood amongst other things scattered around ringside. But the fact now remains; Marz & The Shott have gained the right to face the TWF Tag-Team Champions!
Backstage; Mr. Smooth is standing by once more. Smoothy says that tonight, the Hell-in-a-Cell will be lowered once more, and for the first time in a while for a HIAC match. Two men will enter, and only one will leave victorious. One of those men, is NJS. NJS steps into shot with Louise, and it appears he will cut a promo for the first time in a while. Smoothy asks NJS for his thoughts going into this big HIAC match tonight. NJS says to Smoothy he had a feeling he'd ask him that question, so Louise and him prepared a response. Louise walks into shot wearing a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey which gets huge cheers. NJS says that both Louise and him have agreed that Hawke is a grade-A, 100% specimen jackass, and that he deserves to get his ass kicked. NJS says that it's kool that we're in the Air Canada Centre because whenever Hawke's in Canadian air, it always has a funny smell. That's because he hasn't washed since he left the sanctuary a long time ago. Hawke has proclaimed in the past few weeks that since he "retired" Mr. BIG @ Cyberslam, he is unstoppable, unbeatable and untouchable in the TWF. Well, NJS is gonna prove to Hawke that there's only one untouchable in the TWF, and that's the Ayatollah...N-J-S...Wooooooo! Hawke, you're next jerky! The crowd cheers as the two walk off, with Smoothy smiling and laughing along with them.
The arena is silent, when the steel drum beats of 'P.I.M.P' echo over the PA to massive cheers from the crowd. Mr. Edwards slowly walks out onto the stage with a microphone and then continues to walk down into the ring. Mr. Edwards enters the ring, pauses for a moment before beginning to speak. Edwards says that he would personally like to thank the people of Toronto, Ontario and Canada for welcoming the TWF so warmly to their country. Edwards says that he hopes that TWF can hold more events in Canada, more often. The crowd cheers and applauds that comment. Edwards says that now he would like to introduce the crowd to two people who are going to help him with the next announcement. Being accompanied by the former Managing Director of the TWF, Douglas Edwards, would you please welcome...the current MD - Mr. BIG!
'The Extremist' by Joe Satriani plays to a HUGE roar! The crowd is swinging and rocking...BAM! The pyros go off and Mr. BIG slowly walks out with his grandfather down to the ring. Half the crowd is bowing and chanting "Biggie!" in recognition of the current MD. Biggie holds the ropes open for the former MD before climbing in himself. Biggie is still the same, wearing his normal ring attire down to the ring, as opposed to the formal wear the other two men have taken. Biggie poses on the turnbuckles before taking the microphone. Doug Edwards is first to speak, saying that tonight, the TWF is going to honour some of its brightest talents once more. Mr. Edwards then speaks, informing us that at Summer Break VI, the TWF will induct 3 new members into the TWF Hall of Fame in recognition of one significant event in the TWF's history. Biggie takes the microphone and says "That event is simple...we hit a 5 Year Anniversary!" The crowd roars loudly as Biggie reminds the crowd that the TWF came into existence on February 8th 2000, and is still going strong. Mr. Edwards says that tonight, they are going to inform fans of the 8 people whom they can vote to induct into the Hall of Fame. Doug Edwards says that they are, in alphabetical order: AJ Jeffers (cheers), Deadman (cheers), Frekishi (boos)...Mr. Edwards continues: Jean Claude Van Slam (boos), JT Money (frantic cheering), Lita (frantic booing)...Mr. BIG finishes: The AshTaker (boos) & The Vamp (boos). These people have been nominated, Doug says, for their impact on the TWF today. The voting will open at Total Chaos on July 24th @ GCourt Green in Brackla, and continue until the night before Summer Break VI. The winners will be announced at Summer Break VI, and their inductions will take place on a date to be determined. Mr. Edwards wishes luck to each of the competitors and they both leave, leaving Mr. BIG in the ring alone. Biggie says "Meh, they wanna leave me here, fine. Canada, thank you for putting up with his eating into your valuable time. You've been great. Don't worry; as soon as we get the chance, just like Star Wars, we'll be back. Why? Because Mr. B, Mr. I, Mr. G, that's me, Mr. B-I-G said so! Who Betta?!" 'The Extremist' hits and Biggie grabs a Cherry Coke. He drinks some of it in the ring, taunting the crowd before walking backstage.
---- TWF Live Commercial ----
[BG Music: 'My Town' - Sanity's Last Hope]
Scott and Michael plug that new commercial, which will be shown at every TWF PPV to inform fans of the events coming up in the next month. They also plug sLH, who have re-worked MD.45's 'My Town' for that commercial.
Backstage; Deadman & J-Fox are on their way to the ring with Ms. Sweet. They are walking down a hallway, talking and laughing, when from behind come Blood Brother Luke & Todd! They are with a referee, and the match begins in the back! The two teams brawled all over a hallway at first, moving out to the ring and getting some sort of wrestling done there, before it all spilled out and the 4 men took their fight backstage again. They fought in the hallway once more, doing the same sort of moves to laughs from the crowd. Eventually they fought over in the parking lot of the Air Canada Centre, trashing their heads into cars and all kinds of stuff. All 4 men looked bruised as the match continued. Deadman took Todd out of the parking lot and began fighting in the main streets of Toronto! The crowd cheered, but there were some bystanders who looked a little concerned as the match continued. J-Fox and Luke continued their fight in the parking lot, when the Blood Brothers suddenly ambushed J-Fox! The crowd booed furiously as Josh Jericho, Luke and Matthew Jones heinously beat down on him. Deadman came back, but to no avail as the 4 men beat down the 2. Suddenly, Ms. Sweet appears and the Blood Brothers stop...its The Protégé! Now it's 4-on-3! Protégé came in and evened the score until he too was beaten down, suddenly, from the top of one of the transport trucks jumps someone, taking out the Blood Brothers! It's BLADE! The crowd is cheering loudly as J-Fox got Todd back up and hit him with the Kryptonite Krunch! J-Fox covers and it's all over.
'Killers' hits in the arena and the crowd cheers loudly. It appears that the Allied Powers are back, and they are back to take on the threat of the Blood Brothers!
Backstage; Marz & The Shott are celebrating their victory in the BLT Match earlier tonight in their dressing room with Hawke and Frekishi, all downing alcohol and dancing around with the contract. Marz says that today it's BLT, tomorrow it's TLC, and the titles will be theirs! Hawke says that he will try and get the match organised as soon as possible thanks to his Commissionership, but Mr. BIG will be hesitant, but he still has the veto. Suddenly, Mr. BIG walks in through the door. The crowd cheers and everyone in the room stops what they are doing. Biggie tells Marz & The Shott "Congratulations, you two dorks. You finally won something together. And just like both of you, it has no balls". The crowd cheers and Marz & The Shott are held back from Biggie by Frekishi. Biggie tells Hawke "At Cyberslam, I told you that I always get the Last Laugh. Well, I always have, and always will." Biggie tells Hawke that a match for those two dufuses has already been made; from the very second they won the match. At Total Chaos next month, it will be Deadman & J-Fox vs. Marz & The Shott in a Tables Match. The crowd cheers as Biggie leaves with Hawke looking annoyed and 3-xTreMe looking astonished.
The lights go out in the arena and 'Low' begins to play to massive boos from the crowd. The Terminator slowly walks out onto the stage with a huge smile on his face. The crowd continues to boo him as he makes his way down to the ring. We are shown some pre-recorded comments from Terminator prior to the match, and he states in as few words as possible, that he is back to get the World Title, and tonight, it's Game Over for Mastermind. We cut to a banner which says "Game Over" and the camera then cuts to the stage once more.
The TotalTron fills up with circuit boards, motherboards, computer chips and other such gadgetry to a HUGE ovation from the crowd...BAM! The stage fills up with sparks and smoke and when the immortal bass riff of 'Mastermind' kicks in, the man himself, Mastermind, walks out from behind the smoke. The crowd went absolutely crazy and Scott and Michael noted that, saying that Mastermind has probably got the biggest cheers of the evening.
This was a great match between the two, who have not had a great in-ring history together. These two both feel desperately screwed by the fact that they are all TWF World Championship quality. Terminator, interestingly, is the only one of the four currently feuding for the belt who has not held it in the past, despite having an illustrious career, including the longest TWF IC Title reign of all time. Mastermind seemed very in control with this match, but Terminator was very dominant as well, doing all he could to make sure he won the match and gave himself more of a reason to be in the hunt. He really did so as well. Mastermind looked to have the match wrapped up when he hit Terminator with a huge Superplex. Mastermind covered, but Terminator powered out at 2. Terminator stumbled to his feet, grabbed Mastermind and hit him with Game Over! Terminator rolled over and covered, but Mastermind put his foot on the bottom rope. Terminator argued with referee Keith Jones, but Mastermind thundered up and hit him with the Intimidator! The two then stumbled back to their feet. Mastermind flew a few right hands, but Terminator countered and threw Mastermind into the ropes. Mastermind swings back in, but is met with a strong boot to the gut. Terminator goes for Game Over, but Mastermind flips Terminator over, and Terminator walks into a second Intimidator! Mastermind covers...1-2-3!
'Mastermind' hits and Mastermind slides out of the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Terminator is evidently irate and is arguing with referee Jones that it was a 2-count. It wasn't, and Mastermind has picked up an important victory here. He can use this to say that his TWF World Title reign was no fluke and he deserves to be in the hunt for the most prestigious prize in professional wrestling.
Backstage; we see NJS and Louise walking out of their locker room, holding hands and looking very happy together. They look to be walking down to the ring ready for the HIAC match that looks to be coming up next!
Scott and Michael review the show thus far and tell us still to come is the TWF World Championship match, but up next, it's the first Hell-in-a-Cell match in the TWF for almost 2 years, and the first one-on-one encounter since Mr. BIG vs. The AshTaker at this event 3 years ago! The stakes are just as high for this match as it was for that famous encounter. Tonight, NJS & Hawke put it all on the line to settle this one, and it's going to be ugly.
---- Video Package ----
[BG Music: 'Emotional Drought' - Chevelle]
Scott Hudson and Michael King welcome us back to Against All Odds, and 'Silent Scorn' begins to play in the arena. The Cell is being lowered! It stops moving just above the ring, leaving enough height for both competitors in this match to enter the ring. Stage hands are racing down to the ring to secure the cell in place. Scott Hudson reminds us of the great Hell-in-a-Cell matches of the past, Mr. BIG vs. AshTaker in 2002 being one of them. Michael King informs Scott that this is the first Hell in a Cell match in the TWF in almost 2 years, not counting tlC matches.
'What About Hawke?' plays, and the crowd stands up, booing in unison. Hawke steps out onto the stage with a massive smile on his face. He slowly walks down to the ring, staring up at the cell and smiling all the time. King passes comment that this is Hawke's first match inside a cell, so he could be at a disadvantage in this contest.
The NJS-ohmmeter begins to count down...3-2-1 = N-J-S! BANG! 'Break down the Walls' hits to a massive cheer from the crowd. The lights come back up, and NJS is standing in the middle of the stage, with Louise at his side. NJS walks down to the ring with a very determined look on his face. NJS kisses Louise, who wants to try and enter the cell, but referee Bob Sage prevents her from doing so as the cell is lowered around the ring. The door has already been padlocked and chained shut, and there is no way in, and no way out.
The simple way to describe this match was that it was a pure bloodfest. Both men would have got at least a .7 rating on the Muta scale for this one. Both men had their anger bottled up for a long time and were determined to unleash it upon on each other in this most brutal of environments. Louise couldn't look at points as both men seeked to destroy one another. The weapons were not in short supply. In fact, they supplied the most shocking moment of the match, and perhaps one of the most in wrestling history. Hawke managed to get NJS where he wanted him, right up against the door. Suddenly, Hawke pulled out a pair of handcuffs and cuffed NJS to the cell! Hawke then nailed NJS with one clean chair shot to the skull, which rattled through out of the arena. Still standing, NJS seemed ready for a second chairshot, when he ripped off the handcuffs, and in the process, broke the chains holding the door! Hawke hit NJS again, and when he did, NJS fell back wards with the door crashing down at the same time! Louise stood over NJS, but Hawke continued his barbaric assault, driving NJS's head into the cell. The two men continued to batter their heads all over the place, busting each other open in a big way. Hawke was down, and Louise had fled backstage, out of the way and away from the carnage. NJS looked up at the top of the cell, shrugged his shoulders and begun the long climb up to the top! The crowd roared with cheers and anticipation as NJS stumbled around the top of the cell. Up there was two steel chairs, a 2x4 and a lead pipe. NJS waits as Hawke and referee Sage climb up. The two continue to battle of the top of the cell, smashing each other with crazy move after crazy move. The two treaded on thin ground as it looked like the cell was very vulnerable and could break at any moment. Hawke had the upper hand. He had nailed NJS with a steel chair shot across the back, and looked ready to use the 2x4, but NJS countered with a massive spear. The cell didn't break, but you could hear the impact. More blood was shed and both men stumbled to their feet. Hawke grabbed the lead pipe and applied the Lullaby with the steel pipe attached. All you could see was NJS's face covered in blood, with it continuing to pour down his face. NJS was fading and fading fast. Out of desperation, he managed to get out of the Lullaby and hit Hawke with the N-Factor! The crowd roared! Both men were out. The cell still stayed in one piece and NJS slowly rolled over. He barely drags his shoulder over when Sage slaps the steel. 1-2-3. This one's over.
'Break Down The Walls' hits and the crowd doesn't cheer, it simply stands applauding that 5-Star bloodfest and a match of the year candidate for sure. Chants of "That Was Awesome!" and "TWF" began erupting around the Air Canada Centre as Sage helped a stumbling NJS to his feet. Louise walked back down to the ring with a medic, who looked ready to check NJS. Medics then came down to the ring to aid Hawke from the top of the cell. NJS wipes his face from the blood and raises Louise's hand. She smiles and the two kiss, before NJS is aided to the back by the medic. Hawke meanwhile stumbles to his feet and is given a standing ovation from the crowd. He acknowledges this by smiling and raising his hand, saying "Thank You" before being aided by two medics backstage.
---- TWF Summer Break VI Commercial ----
The same Summer Break VI Commercial that was shown at Cyberslam 3 last month is shown, and when we return, we see that the cell has been raised, and the camera looks around the canvas of the ring to see, red drips and dots all over the once clean surface. Scott Hudson and Michael King remind us that Summer Break VI: Sin City comes to you live on August 21st 2005 live from the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas; but the duo are still amazed at the great performance put on by NJS and Hawke in that amazing match. A graphic then shows and the duo announce that the main event will be up next, where two former allies will go one-on-one for the Total Wrestling Federation World Championship belt.

Canada's own, Elisha Cuthbert, is standing in the middle of the ring and announces the next match. "Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is sanctioned by the xTreMe Wrestling Alliance for one fall, and it will be for the Total Wrestling Federation World Championship! This contest will have no time limit and no disqualification, so a winner must be determined this evening!" The crowd cheers as she says this.
The lights go out in the Air Canada Centre, the choir boys fade in...POW! 'Best I Can' by Queensr˙che hits, and the crowd cheers as AJ Jeffers appears on stage in his usual pose. He slowly walks down to the ring, knowing that he has the chance for the ultimate "boo-ya" by defeating his "friend" The Assassin to become a 2-Time TWF World Champion. He enters the ring, poses once more before awaiting the arrival of his opponent.
The arena is silent once more. The drums begin to echo, followed by the bass intro...BAM! 'Trust' plays to HUGE boos from the crowd and through the sparks comes the TWF World Champion, The Assassin. Some sections are cheering the Modern Day Messiah, others are booing him. The Assassin walks down to the ring taunting the crowd and when he enters the ring, he poses with the TWF World Championship belt with a massive smile on his face. He hands the belt to referee Pete Cavalli, who holds up the belt before handing it to Cuthbert, who takes it out of the ring. Cavalli checks both men over, before ordering the bell to be rung. Both men circle each other before trading the first blows.
Many expected this match to be a dud, because of both men's size, but they delivered an astonishing technical performance that surprised most of the people in the Air Canada Centre. AJ showed that despite being one of the "elder statesmen" of the TWF, he can still hack it in the business, whilst The Assassin showed that his inexperience was a good thing, taking advantage of some old dirty AJ tricks. We saw hints of the AJ Jeffers of old during the match, none more so when he managed to hit Assassin with a Superkick and did his old strut, signalling for the end. He went for The Ice Hotel, but The Assassin thundered up at the 2-count. Assassin then began a major offensive and tried desperately to keep control of the contest. Assassin tried everything but couldn't do it, AJ was too good for him. Assassin gave himself one last shot. He climbed to the top rope after hitting AJ with The Assassinator, and looked to hit an astonishing move to finish the battle. But AJ, just like at Cyberslam, leaped up to the top rope with him! The two traded blows, until Assassin managed to lift AJ over his head...SUPER F5! OMG! Assassin just F5ed AJ from the top rope! Assassin laughed and jumped over for the cover...1-2-3.
'Trust' started up again, and the crowd stood in shock. The Assassin stood up and laughed as he was handed the TWF World Championship belt. AJ lay lifeless in the middle of the ring as The Assassin stood over him. Assassin got in AJ's face with the belt and posed on the turnbuckles before leaving. Assassin stood on the both sides of the stage with a huge smile on his face, with the crowd booing him as the show came to a close.
