TWF Summer Break VI : Sin City
Sunday, August 21st 2005
MGM Grande Garden, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Theme Music:
'Stricken' - Disturbed

There are very few wrestling dates, the world over, that captivate wrestling fans the world over as much as the 3rd Sunday in August does. Traditionally, this is the date that the TWF produces the show that it has waited all year to produce...Summer Break. The event, this year, returns to it's spiritual home of the MGM Grande Garden in Las Vegas. The Grande was home to the first 2 Summer Breaks, and was scheduled to host the third, until amazing ticket demand meant the show was moved to the larger Louisiana Superdome, where the TWF had a record crowd. There was mass demand for this show, but unlike SB 2002, the TWF refused to move the show, and Sin City will play host once more.
The card has taken many months of build-up and much blood, sweat, tears and fears have been spent, with the ultimate goal of being on this card.

The show is set to open with what could be a show-stealer...Team EV have been a part of the Jocks since their inception in the TWF just over a year ago. This is much to the chagrin of the Allied Powers: Blade, Deadman, J-Fox, Stephen Jenkins and the Protégé. The Protégé has said that he is finally finished with Team EV and wants them to put up, or shut up. Protégé has told them that he has recruited a special "Revenge Soldier" for this match, who will be his tag-team partner. We have been told that it is a legend from the TWF's past, which doesn't exactly narrow the list down!

Speaking of the Allied Powers, there will be some Hardkore Title action on the night as well, when Adam Taylor defends his Hardkore Championship against Matthew Jones from the Blood Brothers, Jason Davies of The Jocks, and The Allied Powers's Blade. These four men have all contested the hardkore title against each other for the past few months, but have never all squared off against one another. It will be an interesting battle to say the least as to who will leave Sin City will the belt!

Chamera burst onto the TWF Women's Division scene in June, when she delivered one of the biggest shocks in recent memory in the division, defeating Libra to become the champion on her very first in-ring appearance. However, Chamera has angered many in the TWF's Women's Division with her cocky antics and already her reign looks in doubt as she must face Adara James, who is still in her rookie year, and the person she dethroned as champion, Libra, in a triple threat match.

In the history of the TWF, very few men in their rookie year have made the impact that one man has...Hades. The monster debuted just under a year ago at Eve of Destruction and since then, he has defeated everything thrown into his path. Now that he has removed his personal roadblock of The Jocks, Owen Carl's favourite (and only) client, faces his perhaps biggest challenge yet, when he faces The Shott, one of the most experienced men in the TWF today. The Shott, a 3-Time TWF World Champion, has faced many big men in his career, but none quite like Hades. Can The Shott finally stop Hades, or will Hades add another name to his impressive resume?

The TWF Intercontinental Championship is usually seen as second only to the TWF World Championship in terms of prestige. Big Martin became champion at Against All Odds and has not stopped gloating about his victory. This has angered many, including those in XCW, where Martin still competes. The Fox has stepped up and the former TWF superstar has announced he will return at Summer Break to take on Martin, and in his words "shut him up". Martin says he is more than confident he will retain his title, but The Fox will have other plans!

Deadman & J-Fox have had a whirlwind year in the tag-team stakes in the TWF. Since defeating Deadman's former allies, The AshTaker & The Terminator at Bash at the Beach in Dubai earlier this year, the two men have been through hell to retain their xWa Tag-Team Championships, which were merged with the TWF World Tag-Team Championships at Cyberslam 3 in the Annual Square Ladder match. JCVS & The Vamp, former champions, have won themselves a shot at the championship, but this match has an added stipulation...that the losers will leave, not to return to Vegas...or the TWF! Careers will be on the line at Summer Break as two experienced teams put it all on the line for the TWF Tag-Team titles.

Las Vegas is known through out the world for being a gambling haven. So, what better way to recognise this than to return Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal! Big Sexy Badass, Dope C & Karl Davies are no fans of each other, and have signed up to do this match, along with one mystery opponent who's identity no-one knows! A roulette wheel will be spun prior to the match, determining the stipulation of the match. Some interesting ideas have been floating around and it will be exciting to see how these superstars will square off!

The Sadist Nation are no doubt legends in their own right. The Bandit is a TWF Hall of Famer, with JT Money sure to follow suit at some point. Frekishi & Hawke have been angered at this for sometime, saying that they too should be inducted into the TWF Hall of Fame. Neither have been nominated for this year's inductions, which was decided by a committee including wrestling legends and the TWF Board of Directors. Frekishi will face The Bandit in one-on-one action, and JT Money and Hawke will also face each other in what could become show-stealing matches at Summer Break!

Marz. NJS. You only need to mention those two names one after another, and you can think of plenty of times where these two men have crossed paths. In the early days of the TWF, when Marz had corporate support, NJS was ridiculed by Marz, made to be his "pet", earning the nicknames "Chick" and "Peacock" Job-Smith. But, Marz had his infamous falling out with management, and the tables have turned, with NJS ridiculing Marz on many occasions. At Total Chaos last month, Marz and NJS re-opened old wounds and went toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring, with Marz aiding Frekishi in a sensational screw-job. Now, these two old enemies will face-off in a match to finally settle the score, and end this feud once and for all.

Ottobomb turned a few heads when he defeated his former buddy JT Money @ xWa Xtreme Intentions last year to become xWa Champion. Ottobomb then, through his history in the XWF, found himself squaring off against Silver. The two have crossed paths in all kinds of matches, and their hatred of each other has been taken to another level. Silver's long-time girlfriend, Summer, has been away from the ring for sometime thanks to the heinous actions of Ottobomb and his stooge, Dope C, and Silver has been weakened with his girlfriend's removal. Will Silver finally achieve his dream of becoming xWa Champion or will Ottobomb leave Sin City with another victory in his pocket?

The main event has been building for many months and it has been deemed "the only solution" to the TWF World Championship scene. The Assassin caused a huge upset at Cyberslam, when in front of 60,000 people at Chicago's Soldier Field, he defeated Mastermind to become TWF World Champion. Since then, Mastermind, AJ Jeffers & The Terminator, have all faced each other and The Assassin in matches, with Assassin still remaining victorious. But, they have never all faced each other at the same time. So, the TWF Board of Directors has sanctioned a Four Corners Elimination Match for the TWF World Championship, to end all of the discussion of who should truly by champion. The last man in the ring after 3 of the opposing competitors have been eliminated by pinfall or submission will earn the ultimate prize in professional wrestling today: The Total Wrestling Federation World Championship belt.

Also, at Summer Break VI, the final results of who the three new inductees into the TWF Hall of Fame will be announced live. Through out the evening, legends from TWF & wrestling past & present will make appearances. The venue for Summer Break VII will also be announced live. We also understand that Disturbed will open the show with a performance of 'Stricken', the theme song for Summer Break, and we know that TWF MD & CEO Mr. BIG and his brother, TWF Chairman Mr. Edwards will be at the MGM Grande Garden. It is shaping up to be yet another historic night in TWF history!
