RWF World Domination 2009
June 28, 2009
Cowbridge Arena, Cowbridge, Vale of Glamorgan

Results:

From the broadcast position, Mr. Smooth and "Sweet" Stan Lane welcomed us to the brand new Rebel Wrestling Federation as "Lunatic" by Static-X, the RWF's new theme song, played in the background and as fireworks exploded all over the arena. Smooth and Lane talked about the matches that we will see tonight including an 8-Man One-Night Tournament to determine the new RWF World Heavyweight Champion as well as the matches for the Genesis, No Limits and Tag-Team Championships. Lane also mused about the identity of the new RWF Commissioner as we cut to a shot of backstage where Mr. BIG was walking through a hallway greeting members of the RWF backstage team.

Adam Taylor defeated Stephen Jenkins in 7:09 after a Rudolph Leg Drop. After the match, Jenkins attacked Taylor with the ring bell and steel chair before taking a microphone. Jenkins felt that since leaving the TWF he has been ignored by the fans. He is still richer than them, better looking than them and best of all, the crowd can never be him. Jenkins posed with the chair high above his head before leaving the ring, with Taylor requiring the help of two referees to get to the backstage area.

In the back, Kaysie Anderson was standing by with Blade. Anderson asked for his comments surrounding the return of the RWF and his chances in the upcoming tournament to win the RWF World Heavyweight Championship. Blade stated that as an RWF original, he deserved this opportunity to get back into the company his brother created and win the RWF World Championship. Blade told Kaysie that he will beat anyone who comes in his way tonight so he can finally get the monkey off his back and win a World Championship.

Blade defeated "Stone Kold" Karl Davies (with Holly) in 12:28 in the First Round of the RWF World Championship tournament after a Roundhouse Kick. Before the match, Davies re-introduced Holly as his manager and he came down to the ring dressed in his Jock letter jacket. Holly told the crowd that the Jocks had reunited in the RWF and they would seek to cause the same devastation that they do everywhere else they have been. After the match, Davies attempted to beat down Blade, but he eliminated Davies out of the ring with a clothesline over the top rope before taunting Holly.

The Terminator defeated Nitrospark in 13:46 in the First Round of the RWF World Championship tournament after an Osaka Street Cutter. The identity of Nitrospark was discussed by Smooth and Lane prior to the match before his appearance. Entering to "Change or Die" by Papa Roach, Nitrospark was revealed by a man wearing a dark partly covered mask, wrestling singlet on his upper body, dark leather trousers and white wrestling boots. After the match, Terminator attempted to take off the mask that covered Nitrospark's face, but received a Burning Hammer for his troubles. Nitrospark tugged at the roots of his hair and posed for the crowd before leaving ringside.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Joey Davies & "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta defeated Luke Baird & Todd McFarlene in 10:45 after a Kiss of Death to Baird from Bennetta. Before the match, Smooth put over the reunion of the popular XCW Tag-Team, the Double J's, which comprised of Davies and Bennetta. They walked down to the ring in their matching Double J's attire for the first time in almost five years. After the match, McFarlene approached Baird but instead of helping his partner, he pushed him away and hit him with the Blind Truth. McFarlene took the microphone and told Baird he was sick of his attitude towards life and the way he dresses. Todd said that Luke was always proud to be an Individual and stick out, when really; he thrived as a member of a team. McFarlene then told Baird that he was a member of the Jocks and prides himself on the fact that he has impressive body, where as Baird tries to cover his up. McFarlene stomped away at Baird before dropping the microphone and leaving.

Frekishi defeated The Shott in 14:23 in the First Round of the RWF World Championship tournament after a Sit-Out Powerbomb. Before the match, The Shott came out to his old theme song of "Just Another Victim" by Cypress Hill. Frekishi also came out to a different theme song, "The Wall" by the Heet Mob.

Hades defeated Hawke (with Falcon) in 09:34 in the First Round of the RWF World Championship tournament after an Underworld Splash. Before the match, Hawke took the microphone to taunt the Monster about the fact that his former manager (Owen Carl) had moved on to manage other giants over in the big leagues, leaving Hades to fend for himself for the first time in the RWF. Hawke speculated that Hades could now be beaten as there is no-one there to tell him to "Finish Them Off". During the match, Hades did not attempt the Hades Driver once, leading Hawke to speculate after the match that there is a "higher power" controlling the monster's actions.

Backstage, Mr. BIG was shown walking down hallways backstage, greeting members of the RWF backstage team, thanking them for their support. Interviewer Alexis Coles then greets Biggie, offering him a kiss and a hug, thanking him for the opportunity to return. He says it was no problem. His cheery demeanour changes however when he glances up the hallway to see Aaron Hill. Hill walks towards Biggie saying "Well, well, well, we finally meet again. Mr. PIG". Biggie cuts Hill off and says that he is not stupid and has heard everything Hill has been saying over the past few months in PWC and elsewhere. Biggie tells Hill that he will get his wish of a match with Biggie one day, but he says "be careful for what you wish for". Hill states that Biggie is a has-been and he will have no problem in showing him up. Biggie asks Hill if he's such a has-been, why is Hill determined to humiliate him? Hill says it's always been a personal thing; he's hated BIG since the day he turned out to be a hypocrite, something he always stated he hates. And ever since, it's been his duty to remind him of that. Biggie shrugs his shoulders and tells Hill he has better reasons for disliking him than that. Biggie tells Hill that he can go out and "prove he's better than him" by winning the No Limits title tonight, to which Hill smiles and says he will before walking down the hallway towards the ring.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Big Martin & "The MasterStroke" Aaron Hill survived the first RWF No Limits Championship Four Way Qualifying Match in 16:43 after Martin eliminated Rhys Evans via an M-Star and Martin eliminated Joe Whelan after a K-Mart. Before the match, Evans entered to his theme of "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson and returned to his old Gothic inspired look, with white face paint and purple accented eye-liner and lipstick. Whelan meanwhile debuted a new look of his own with spiked blonde hair, golden earrings and an impressive six-pack. After the match, Hill taunted Martin about his size, but when Martin attempted a clothesline on the Masterstroke, Hill ducked under and left ringside quickly. Martin then posed for the crowd to their delight before leaving.

Dougie Christian & Matthew Wright survived the second RWF No Limits Championship Four Way Qualifying Match in 11:27 after Wright pinned Eli Lugg via an Argentine DDT and Christian pinned Thomas Grubb via a Full Throttle. After the match, after posing with Wright, Christian attacked him and stomped him out of the ring, shouting at Wright he does not need his help to win the Championship. The crowd booed him out of the ring.

"Awesome" Adam Morgan defeated "The Mangler" Gareth Cole to win the RWF Genesis Championship in 13:41 after a Tilt-a-Whirl Tombstone. Morgan returned to his "Awesome" guise as opposed to the Protégé moniker he used for his TWF tenure. Before the match, Cole told the crowd that the RWF Genesis Championship was moulded especially for him and it has never left his side, and he does not intend for that to happen tonight. Cole had put on a lot of weight since his last appearance with the company a few years back and looked sluggish in the ring.

In the back, David McCartney says that he has one eye on the new Commissioner's first signs of movement, but he was standing by with Big Martin, asking for his thoughts on the Four Way Elimination match that follows. Martin said he was delighted to be back in professional wrestling and stated that he felt he would be the perfect No Limits Champion, as there are no limits to what he can do. He can climb to the top rope and drop a devastating elbow, he can apply a submission hold and make his opponent scream, and his opponent just has to blink and WHAM! They get caught with the K-Mart. Martin says that although he reckons he has the backing of two others in the match (D. Christian and M. Wright), he is confident they will give him his best and the best man will deserve the championship, which will be him.

Dougie Christian won the RWF No Limits Championship in a Four Way Elimination match in 20:36 after Big Martin pinned "The MasterStroke" Aaron Hill via a K-Mart, Christian pinned Matthew Wright after a Full Throttle and Christian pinned Martin after a Deep Impact. During the match, Hill mocked Mr. BIG's demonic smirk before attempting to hit a BIG Storm on Martin, but found himself on the receiving end of a Falling Powerbomb from Big Martin as a result. Christian waved good-bye to Wright as he was eliminated, infuriating the crowd even further. After the match, Christian snatched the belt from match official Darren Lewis. He refused to pose with the belt straight after the match and walked backstage, trying to hide the belt from both the camera and the crowd, shouting down the camera "Its mine damn it! All mine and nobody else's!"

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

Frekishi defeated Blade in 09:23 in the Semi Final round of the RWF World Championship tournament after a Table Top Suplex. The crowd was shocked at the result of this match as Blade had been the pre-tournament favourite considering his status as an RWF original. After the match, Frekishi walked straight to the back, whilst Blade looked shocked at the outcome himself. He was awarded a standing ovation from the RWF crowd and posed for them before walking to the back.

In the back, Alexis Coles caught up with the winner of the RWF No Limits Championship, Dougie Christian. She asked Dougie whether he felt proud to be the new No Limits Champion considering his appalling actions to his fellow competitors during the contest. Dougie argued that pride is a word he knows very well. He called out Big Martin and said that the "big potato" needs to stop worrying about where his next six-course meal is gonna come from and step up. Christian says that Martin told him before tonight that he felt he deserved the No Limits Championship. "Why? What have you done with your life that is so special Martin?" he asked. Christian says that you do not deserve anything in this business, you fight for it, and you win it anyway you can, regardless of who you stab in the back. Christian laughs as he walks out of shot, holding the No Limits Championship belt close to his chest.

Deadman King & The Creator defeated Matthew Jones & Tom Williams (with Holly and Amee) in 21:09 to keep hold of the RWF Tag-Team Championships after King pinned Williams via a Death Drive Time. Before the match, Jones and Williams walked down to the ring dressed in their Jock letter jackets and Holly cut a promo about how Karl Davies may have been unlucky earlier in the night, but the Jocks will not leave tonight without the gold. During the match, Holly attempted to distract match official Allan Harris on many occasions, but he grew tired of her antics and ejected her from ringside to a roar from the crowd. He then ejected Amee after she tried to reason with him. Holly refused to leave until TWF superstar Mary-Anne walked down to the ring with arena security and escorted Holly and Amee away from the ring kicking and screaming. During this time with Harris's back turned, Williams attempted to use the belt to hit the legal man King, but he was given a Death Drive Time onto the belt for his troubles. After the match, Holly and Amee attempted to bring the Jocks back down to the ring to beat down the champions, but they were then escorted from the arena by Mary-Anne, who led her out of the back to cheers from members of the RWF backstage team.

In the back, Hades was seen walking towards ringside where he sees Hawke and Falcon in a doorway. Hawke reminded Hades of what he stated earlier in the night about Hades being powerless without someone by his side and that the so called "monster" is nothing but a mirage. Hawke stated he thinks he knows who the man controlling Hades's mind is, but he dare not speculate. Hawke instead mumbles something to which Hades grabs Hawke by the throat and tells him to keep out of his business, or he will suffer in ways not humanly possible. The crowd roars as Hades heads towards the ring with Hawke in shock at Hades' outburst.

Hades defeated The Terminator in 17:38 in the Semi Final round of the RWF World Championship tournament after an Underworld Splash. During the match, commentators Mr. Smooth and Stan Lane commented that Hades did not look the same as he does not have the power to summon his incredible Hades Driver to win the match without his former manager Owen Carl here tonight. For the second match in succession, Hades did not attempt the move. As Hades walked to the back, the crowd chanted "Hades! Hades!" and the monster smiled for the first time as he awaited Frekishi in the final match of the tournament.

{COMMERCIAL BREAK}

"Disconnect" played over the PA system to a massive cheer and making his first televised appearance in a wrestling ring in 18 months was Mr. BIG, the man who has revived the RWF for a second time. Biggie entered the ring and thanked the crowd for turning up tonight and he hopes that they have enjoyed the matches that have been held tonight and he hopes it indicates that the RWF is heading into a new direction. He thought the crowd might be interested to hear in what capacity he will run the RWF. Biggie stated that the RWF will run itself. He is back as the CEO of his baby, the Total Wrestling Federation, but he is also the Owner of the Rebel Wrestling Federation. However, with the TWF being the global success it is, his time will be dominated by that on a day-to-day basis, so he has reinstated the position of Commissioner in the RWF. The Commissioner will have the power to make their own matches and do as they please under the condition that they answer to Mr. BIG. He told the crowd that many names were contacted to take over the position and after a careful thought process and consultation with "those in the know", he made his decision.
Biggie pointed towards the JumboTron where, right on cue, "Back in Black" by AC/DC began to play and out walked Eric Bischoff! The crowd was in disbelief! Bischoff walked down to the ring where he shook hands with Mr. BIG and took a microphone. Bischoff told the crowd he was excited to be back in professional wrestling with a company he feels can turn into something big and even rival the TWF. Bischoff told the crowd that whilst he will not bite the hand that feeds, he will toy with it in his attempts to make the RWF legitimate competition for the TWF. Bischoff told the crowd that he has already looked into his large contact book and the company will see the results of his work at RWF Vendetta, which is the next big event, held on July 26 at the former TECW Arena in Treoes, Vale of Glamorgan. Bischoff thanks the crowd for their support before leaving the ring with Mr. BIG.

At the broadcast position, Mr. Smooth and "Sweet" Stan Lane again thank everyone for tuning in tonight and say that they both hope that the RWF can continue to exist in the next few months. The two then go over the story so far in the RWF World Championship tournament, recapping the bracket with still photographs of key moments being shown. The duo then picked their choices for the final match. Lane picked Frekishi as the favourite, citing his reigns as both TWF and XCW World Champion as an example of how to get it done in the world of professional wrestling. Smooth initially said he would agree with his partner, but picked Hades instead, stating that he always felt Hades was one lucky break away from being a World Champion and he feels tonight, the mood is right and Hades has looked dominant without the Hades Driver that he could win the tournament.

Hades defeated Frekishi 25:49 to win the RWF World Championship in the tournament finals after a Hades Driver. During the match, Hawke and Falcon came down to ringside and attempted to taunt Hades with their previous comments and to aid their long-time friend and ally, Frekishi. Hawke leaped onto the apron to distract Hades and attempted to hit Hades with a steel chair behind the back of referee Peter Cavalli, who was distracted by Falcon (who was arguing over some insignificant technicality). As Frekishi attempted to whip Hades into the chair, Hades reversed the momentum of the whip and sent Frekishi crashing into the steel chair. Hawke leaped down from the apron in shock as the crowd chanted loudly "Hades! Hades!" and Hades then picked up Frekishi and hit him with the Hades Driver for the first time, which got the loudest cheers of the night. After the match, Hawke attempted to attack the new champion with a cricket bat and was about to be joined by Frekishi when Blade ran down to the ring to Hades's aid, fighting off both Frekishi and Hawke. They drove Frekishi and Hawke from the ring to a loud cheer and Blade shook the hand of the new World Champion. "Back in Black" played once more and Eric Bischoff walked down to the ring with a black silk bag, waving the losing pair backstage. Bischoff entered the ring and shook hands with Blade, inviting him to stay for the upcoming presentation if he so chose, which he did. Eric took the microphone and congratulated Hades on his victory in the tournament tonight. Bisch then said that on behalf of the Rebel Wrestling Federation, he was proud to present Hades with his first ever World Championship belt. The Commish then pulled out a brand new RWF World Championship belt out of the bag and awarded it to Hades to a loud roar. Hades smiled and looked ecstatic with both Bischoff and Blade applauding. They shook the hand of the new champion before leaving the ring to allow him to celebrate the victory. Hades posed with his new piece of gold on the turnbuckles to his theme music and eventually some pyros as the show drew to a close.
