Interview with Mr. Edwards [Originally conducted in November 2003] Mr. Edwards has a mixed past in the TWF. When he made his first appearances, he was hailed as the saviour of a failing TWF. But then he formed The BoyZ and turned against the people who made him a rich man. He stayed out of the TWF for a long while, before returning on June 11th 2003, when he reunited Frekishi and Hawke and formed Seek And Destroy in front of a sell-out crowd at the Brewery Field. The TWF-xWa Magazine had a chance to sit down with the TWF Chairman not so long ago in the TWF Towers to talk about everything and anything. TWF: Mr. Edwards, thank you for joining us. You made your first appearance in the TWF on Summer Break 2000, to aide Mr. BIG, who was screwed out of the TWF World Heavyweight Championship by Revolution. You stayed away from the TWF again until October 2000 when you formed The BoyZ. Mr. Ed: Hold on there. And I'll bet your next question is why. Why did I do that? Well, those 4 guys had more talent than the rest of the TWF put together, so they deserved to be given a chance to shine. And 2 of them did, Hawke and Frekishi. Those other 2 punks just became more like De-generates as the days went on and I lost my patience with them. TWF: And these two men were? Mr. Ed: You know exactly who they are. High Voltage and The Mangler, that's who. TWF: Because of what happened when you made your first TWF appearance, you and Mr. BIG have become both friends and more recently, enemies. Why so? Mr. Ed: Mr. BIG right now is purely here because he gives us viewers & money. Like every businessman knows, everyone needs a stand-out product and he thinks he is ours. Sure, he pulls in viewers at the rate of knots, sells merchandise like kids go through hamburgers but he has no talent. He's just a nobody who was just lucky to have known people who got him employed. TWF: Although you hate Mr. BIG, what is your opinion on Biggie arch nemesis, Marz? Mr. Ed: Marz is a different kettle of fish. Marz has talent, but he causes trouble. Wherever he seems to go, people just seem to fall-out with him and hate him. If he were to resolve these differences quickly, I can see him making a possible full-time return. TWF: What do you think the future holds for Seek And Destroy? Mr. Ed: Only one thing, complete domination of the TWF and the xWa. TWF: And for yourself? Mr. Ed: Making lots more money. Phrase Association...
