News and Rumours
-- Rumours that the RWF has entered financial trouble are true. Rhys Reed, the RWF Owner and owner of the Rhys Reed Entertainment Centre has said that he is experiencing trouble being able to bring in fans. He also says that the running costs for the RWF are getting higher and higher and he feels that he is unable to cope.
-- However, help may come in the form of the 'xWa Rescue Fund'. This was an idea created by Mr. BIG. He stated that each xWa Promotion must set aside a certain percentage of their profit to place in the Rescue Fund, so that it can help promotions in trouble. It is estimated that the RWF is £2,000,000 ($3,380,400.40 USD) in debt. The xWa Rescue Fund currently holds £15,000,000 ($25,353,002.98 USD) so the plan is the RWF can take £3,000,000 to rescue themselves.
-- The Assassin, whom many consider the RWF's biggest draw at the moment, has said he is willing to work for free if the RWF gets into any trouble and needs a top draw. The Assassin fought in the last
competitive RWF Match at Xtreme Intentions, defeating JCVS for the RWF World Championship.
-- Strong rumours are circulating that Blade is intending on bringing back his old 'New Blood' Stable.
-- The RWF is scheduled to be holding a Wrestling Camp in January 2004. The wrestling camp will be filmed for a new series to be shown on the xWn called 'Living The Dream', which will begin airing in February 2004. The training camp will be open to everyone, and the 3 best prospects will be awarded development contracts for the RWF and xWa's Development Camp Brutality Championship Wrestling (BCW). 5 runners up will be awarded contracts to The Wranch, the RWF's Training Complex.
-- High Voltage and The Assassin are enjoying being heels at the moment, and feel that they could continue being heels in the future.
