News and Rumours

-- The TWF staff have been contemplating what it will be like without major backstage force Mr. BIG in the locker room until March. Many of the faces bunch together and feel without him, they have no power. The heels are ecstatic and think that they have a chance to finally get their plans pushed through.
-- 'Stone Kold' Karl Davies telephoned Mr. BIG prior to Halloween Hell and told him he has no intentions of returning to the TWF in the near future.
-- The Shott also announced that he is not moving until March, later than expected. His TWF Title run will not be shelved however.
-- NJS and Lita have announced their intentions to possibly marry in the New Year. Mr. BIG is being touted as being NJS's Best Man. Honorary bridesmaid's for Lita could include Trish Stratus and Torrie Wilson is all but confirmed, returning the favour for Torrie's Wedding to Billy Kidman earlier this year.
-- No TWF Superstars were invited to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon's Wedding late in October.
-- Both High Voltage and Mr. BIG were seen at a Bridgend Nightclub after returning from Halloween Hell. Mr. BIG was seen with a girl, as was High Voltage. There are unconfirmed reports that they are their girlfriends. Mr. BIG visited his brother's old workplace Ikon, before meeting up with his Uncle and his friends in some local pubs and HV was said to be enjoying himself. Mr. BIG looked happy and his date was said to be very attractive, as was High Voltage's.
-- Speaking of Good Ol' HV, it is not expected that he wins at Dangerously Serious. HV said in an interview with a Radio Show last week that with Mr. BIG gone, he feels he needs time off as he has not fully re-cooperated from his injuries earlier this year.
-- The Red Hoodie Crew are being prepared for a bigger push in the weeks to come. Many people say this is well deserved as the Hoodie Crew have improved in every sense since Summer Break, which was meant to teach them a thing or two.
-- Take this as only speculation, but Owen Carl, Real Deal Murphy, Wadlan, The Sheriff, and 2-Crazy have been seen going back and fourth to TWF Towers with papers looking like contracts in their hands. High Voltage said in his interview that he thinks that for the TWF's 5th Birthday, there should be a reunion of every TWF superstar who has ever performed in the TWF. This is possibly what it is all about, but no-one is quiet sure. Owen Carl decided not to continue with his agreement after Summer Break and has since trimmed to a more respectable weight and many feel he is in the best shape of his life.
-- Holly is also not expected to return to the TWF soon. She left under a dark cloud and has some bad blood with wrestlers besides Mr. BIG.
-- The TWF is considering dropping the Hardkore Championship. There is no reason in particular why, but many people, including NJS, believes the title should stay. It was also confirmed on the TWF Web a few weeks ago that the TWF Television Championship will take the place of the European Championship in the TWF Full House.
-- The TWF will once again be having a Christmas break, following PayBack. TWF Superstars will have a week off to re-charge their batteries before they all report for duty on the TWF Best of 2003 RAW Special on January 2nd 2004.
-- Already, NJS is being placed odds-on favourite for the Wrestler of the Year Award. There is no clear front-runner in the 'Match of the Year' Category, although Mr. BIG is expected to have 3 nominations, vs. Steven Dimmock @ Easter HeAT, vs. Dimmock in tlC III @ Cyberslam and vs. Karl Davies @ SB 03. Libra is emerging as front runner for Female of the Year and Breakthrough Superstar.
-- There was a strong rumour that the TWF is considering moving offices from Brackla to Broadlands, but TWF Owner Douglas Edwards has denied any such move, stating that the TWF will stay in Brackla so long as the TWF is successful.
