Wednesday Grit BasH
Yet another Easter HeAT is in the books and the TWF returns from it's trip to south west England to head back to the seaside and Porthcawl, the location for many famous moments in TWF history. High Voltage's first TWF World Heavyweight Championship victory, Mr. BIG and The Assassin meeting face-to-face on top of the Hell in a Cell, and Sebastian Gross getting very wet at PayBack last year.
Deadman remains the Total Wrestling Federation World Champion after defeating Eric Herrera in the main event on Sunday night, despite the best efforts of the Sensational One's manager, Hayley Holder. Herrera has told the TWF Web that he has requested some in-ring time this Wednesday to offer Deadman an opportunity to settle the score at Dead Man's Hand in three weeks. Will Deadman accept his challenge or lay down a challenge of his own for the Sensational One? Disturbed and Zero also managed to cement their reputation as one of the greatest tag teams in TWF history when they won the annual Square Ladder Match for the third year in a row, making them not only consecutive winners, but the only team to win the match three years on the bounce. They accomplished this feat in their usual manor, doing their damndest to stop both Victor Ortega and John Harper to get the belts. Who will be next to step forward and challenge the seemingly unbeatable champions? Also on Wednesday, we will hear from Patrick McCarthy, the impressive rookie who debuted in the corner of Mastermind on Sunday night about his plans for his time in the Total Wrestling Federation. Jack Beam will get a chance at revenge against the newcomer in a match on Wednesday night as well. Justin Polaris also made his return to the TWF to attack the legendary Marz after his match with Nytro. Wednesday's main event will be a six-man tag team match involving some big names from Sunday and it is sure to bring the house down! All coming to you live this Wednesday, it's TWF Grit BasH! The show starts at 8pm on Sky1 (Sky Channel 106) and Sky1HD (Sky Channel 170). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
