-- Mr. BIG and High Voltage have had some backstage heat recently. This apparently centres around both men's love life. HV is angry that Mr. BIG apparently "told the locker room he can't get a girlfriend" (regarding Sarah...see further down on that) and was very angry when Mr. BIG informed the locker room at Easter HeAT that he was taken. Initally, it was rumoured that The Protégé had to prove to HV that Mr. BIG was not bullshitting, but that has since been proven to be untrue. All of the talent backstage have stated that Mr. BIG never made such a statement in the first place and was summed up by one wrestler as a "petty storm in a teacup".
-- High Voltage got his "revenge" by spreading pretty malicious rumours about Mr. BIG. HV, Frekishi and Gareth Cole's behaviour in the past few weeks has shocked many TWF staff members, including the Road Agents. There's a good chance that when HV jobs the TWF World Championship, he will be asked to leave. Frekishi is being given a lot of leeway because he is friends with a lot of the bPA old-boys, who loyalty is pretty good toward him. Plus he and Biggie go a lot further back than Biggie and HV do.
-- Marz has been making quite an impression on the TWF locker room on his return to the company. Mr. BIG has apparently got Marz in high regard because he has behaved appropriately since coming back and has not caused any problems what so ever. The two still have issues, but Marz has got on well with most people and in situations that, if they took place 2 years ago, he would have spoke out apon, he did the wise thing and not do so.
-- There was also a VERY strong rumour that Mr. BIG was to re-unite Future-Generation X [FX] with Marz, 'The Fox' Gareth Fox, NJS and 'Road Dogg' Jessie Rogers. Biggie was seen speaking to Fox and Rogers this week, but there is a lot of discussion as to whether the group would actually work given Marz and NJS's very rocky status and whether it is actually needed. The TWF has suffered a ratings dip in recent weeks, but many say that's just because it was moved around on various channels. Sky Sports moved Grit BasH last week, for example, from Sky Sports 1 to Sky Sports 2 at the very last minute. Even the Sky Digital Planner didn't know this until 1 hour from air time.
-- The Shott's walk-out was a worked shoot. The TWF knew he was expected to leave and to vacate the championship, but they did not know when or how he would explain it. High Voltage was due to get the TWF title regardless of The Shott's situation.
-- NJS was reportedly a little angry with the decision to hand Hawke the xWa Championship in his absence whilst getting ready for his marriage to Lita in a few weeks. NJS felt the title should have gone to someone who could have kept a hold of the championship a little better. Rumours are floating around that an XCW Wrestler may hold the championship after Hawke's reign.
-- NJS and Lita's marriage takes place on Saturday, May 22nd in Miami, Florida. Most of the TWF and XCW Rosters are expected to attend. Mr. BIG is Best Man, whilst Lita's maid of honour is Torrie Wilson. Most of the OMEGA old boys, such as The Hurricane, Shannon Moore and the Hardy Brothers are also due to attend the ceremony.
-- The 'Retro' Shows on April 21st and 23rd were huge successes and there's a chance that Retro Week will be held once more this year.
-- The TWF has also been negotiating to have an event broadcast on the xWn on July 4th 2004. The event, which would be held on American Independence Day, is expected to have an 'All-American' Theme to it. It's probably going to be a one-off event and early indications say it could be called 'The American Tradition' or most likely, 'Scars and Stripes'. Expect an 'All-American' theme and main event.
-- TWF has also been negotiating with contacts in the Middle East a tour in January/February 2005. Dubai is almost certain to hold at least one event. Mr. BIG, whilst on vacation in February claimed the place was an "experience" and said the people of Dubai would be ecstatic to host a TWF event. The famous Jumeirah Beach is being touted as home to a huge event.
-- Team EV are pretty pleased with the push they have been getting. They were persistent rumours prior to the Tag Team Championship reign that the stable was to be split apart, but this is not expected to happen.
-- TWF is unsure whether or not to bring back the Cruiserweight or Xtreme Championships. The Cruiserweight division would be one of the strongest on TWF TV, but the original slated champion, Jody Fleisch recently shocked the wrestling world by announcing his retirement. The Xtreme Division would be extremely unsettled due to the very nature of the 'Xtreme' Matches, but the TWF recently revised the 'Xtreme' genre by adding the Ambulance, Chair Shot Roulette, Double Tables, Explosion, Revenge, Stretcher and WarGames matches to the strand, meaning that defences may come easier.
-- The TWF also announced during that meeting that it has revised the rules of a Revenge Match. It is still No Holds Barred and Decisions Count Anywhere...but it is now a match where Submission is the only way to win.
-- From next week, the TWF will be using new lighting ideas. The Protégé, who had worked on many theatre productions and former head of the xWa Production Team, sat down with Mr. BIG and the Production Team this week and ran threw a few ideas with them. They went down as a success and Mr. BIG even lent a hand this week during AS and A2 Level Exams with The Protégé.
-- The Vamp is still dating, NJS is of course getting married and Mr. Edwards has a long-term girlfriend. High Voltage was recently seen stepping out with friend and model Sarah and he'd like to take the relationship further. It was on that occasion that the rumours about his "girlfriend" began. Marz and Frekishi are both happy being single and The Shott is also contemplating starting a family life. Mr. BIG...as always, is single.
