TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
October 8th 2003
The TWF Arena, Brackla, Bridgend

A re-cap from last weeks' Grit BasH is shown as build-up to tonight.

The usual Grit BasH intro video and music plays, and the crowd cheers loudly as the pyros go off. Around 28,000 people are inside the TWF Arena, where tonight, Mr. BIG & High Voltage will have their Hall of Fame banners raised to the rafters of the TWF Arena. Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan also announce that in tonight's main event, NJS & The Bandit will face The AshTaker & Deadman.

Rachel Stevens, the ring announcer gets on the microphone and announces that the next contest is scheduled for one fall...BANG! 'One of a Kind' by Breaking Point hits and the crowd cheers as JCVS leaps out onto the stage. JCVS, then meets up with his tag-team partner, and fellow Tag-Team Champion, The Vamp. This is a singles match featuring JCVS.
The crowd then boos as Steven Dimmock's music blasts over the PA. He walks down to the ring with the Red Hoodie Crew.
This match was very quick and was very mat-based. It came to an end when the Hoodie Crew interfered on behalf of Dimmock and caused a DQ. The Vamp tried to even the score against the might of the Hoodie Crew members, but failed. However, The Assassin came running down to the ring with a steel chain! The Assassin rolled the chain around his fists and got rid of Dimmock. The rest of the Hoodie Crew followed suit. The crowd cheered, but The Assassin then turned around and nailed JCVS! The Vamp attempted to help his friend, but was again beaten. The Assassin nailed JCVS with The Assassinator and then got on the microphone. The Assassin said that he just got word that he's finally got his match...for the RWF World Championship...and it's coming this weekend at Xtreme Intentions! The crowd boos as 'Pride' hits and The Assassin poses on the turnbuckles.

Backstage, a 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider with a license plate 'B1GG1E 1' pulls up and the crowd explodes as Mr. BIG steps out of the car. Some paparazzi are taking photos of him as this is his greatest night.

Backstage, Frekishi is watching Mr. BIG walk to his locker room on a TV Monitor, but switches it off as Mr. Edwards, Hawke and Rhys Evans walk in the room. Mr. Edwards says to Frekishi that they have a golden opportunity to put Biggie on the shelve. Rip the very heart of the RWA away from it. Frekishi smiles and Mr. Edwards says that no matter what happens at Xtreme Overdose, Frekishi will face Mr. BIG at Halloween Hell.

Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan remind us that later tonight, High Voltage and Mr. BIG will witness their banners being raised in the TWF Arena. Bobby also reminds us to watch xWa Xtreme Intentions on October 12th, live from a reduced capacity Bridgend Dome. The show is free on xWn, which is new name for the xWa Network from October 10th. Scott also reminds us to join him and Paul Heyman on October 10th for the final show before Xtreme Intentions.

'Blonde Striker' hits and the crowd arises and cheers as Team EV walk out for a Tag-Team Match. Brownie and the TWF Television Champion Blonde Man are riding a wave at the moment after the duo re-united at Summer Break. Scott Hudson also confirms that at xWa Xtreme Intentions, Team EV will face The Double J's for the xWa Inter-Promotional Tag-Team Championships.
'Bodies' hits and the crowd jeers like hell for Frekishi and Hawke, both members of Seek And Destroy and the bPa, as they walk down the aisle way to the ring.
This match was very, very, very good and the crowd thoroughly enjoyed it. Hawke and Frekishi looked to have the victory in the bag when Blonde Man drop kicked Hawke, the legal man, into a Brownie roll-up and got the 1-2-3! The crowd popped loudly as Team EV exited the ring quickly. Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan claimed that Team EV have all it takes to become xWa Tag-Team Champions.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan offer congratulations to XCW on the celebration of their first birthday this week. Scott also shows us footage of the unbelievable 30-Minute Iron Man Match between NJS and The Celtic Warrior on Metal last night. Bobby Heenan says he is personally looking forward to the first ever XCW Gas Chamber Match between 'Hollywood' Hulk Hogan and The Terminator.

We got back to ringside, where there is a red carpet and the TWF Owner, Douglas Edwards is seen with his bodyguards making his way to the ring. Rachel Stevens is also in the ring, as are two men in TWF Polo-Shirts ready to raise the banners of High Voltage and Mr. BIG.
The Owner gets on the microphone and announces that the first man to come out has achieved quite literally everything in the TWF. He is a Full House Winner and the current commissioner of the TWF...High Voltage!
'Danger....High Voltage!'...BANG! BANG! BANG! The crowd gives some of the biggest cheers of the night to High Voltage as he walks down to the ring looking extremely proud. He gets in the ring and poses on the turnbuckles before receiving a plaque from TWF Owner Doug Edwards. HV gets across to a rostrum and says a few words. He says he would like to thank all the influences on his career, his friends backstage, the TWF, and of course the fans. The two men then raise HV's Hall of Fame Banner to the top of the TWF Arena to huge cheers from the crowd. HV claps with pride as Edwards introduces the second man to be inducted. He is a 9-Time Former World Champion, one of the greatest talents in the wrestling world today alongside HV and is respected by his peers. He is also the best damn CEO a company could ask for...please give it up for Mr. BIG!
The infamous words 'Just Think About It' appear on the TotalTron and are blared over the PA. Everyone in the crowd is standing as an extended flash-through Mr. BIG's greatest moments plays...BANG! 'Prayer' hits as the crowd erupts and Mr. BIG appears on stage in his customary reverse Crucifix pose. Biggie walks down to the ring with a just as bigger smile as HV. Biggie sees HV and hugs his buddy and jokes about the two being in the Hall of Fame. Biggie poses on each of the turnbuckles before accepting a plaque and going over to the rostrum. Biggie gets on the rostrum and says that "Finally...The BIG Storm...Has Come Back...To The TWF Arena!". The crowd cheers as he continues. Biggie says that he is no good at giving acceptance speeches, and although he is actually speechless, he has a few people to thank. He thanks all of the road agents, referees, medical, production and behind the scenes staff whose work often goes unappreciated. Biggie also says that he is extremely thankful for his friends and peers, such as High Voltage, he thanks the commentators for their work and of course, the TWF Fans for making what it is. Biggie says he's almost done, but he has one final question. "If you wanna see a real party...gimmie a B-I-G." The crowd shouts the letters and Biggie hands out Cherry Coke to HV, Rachel Stevens and Himself, and a can of Kaliber to the TWF Owner as he leaves the ring. The two men also leave as they have raised Biggie's banner. The 3 people in the ring continue to down their beverages as we fade out.

Backstage, Mr. BIG and High Voltage are continuing to drink their Cherry Cokes as they walk down an aisle way, but the Red Hoodie Crew appear. They say that the awards are undeserved and should have gone to people like Hawke. Jason Davies, one of the latest recruits says that Biggie deserves none of his fame. Biggie gets in his face and says that if they want a piece of him, they can have in a multi-person tag match on RAW this week.

'Sonne' by Ramnstein hits and the crowd jeers loudly as The AshTaker and Deadman walk out on stage in their ministry gear. The AshTaker's symbol explodes as he enters the ring and Bobby Heenan says that the symbol still scares him...and he doesn't get scared.
The VT Footage of a Helicopter flying around Chicago plays, then 'Bring Me Down' hits as The Bandit, NJS and Lita walk out on stage. The three hold up their championship belts and pyros go off behind them.
This was once again another superb match, which came to an abrupt end when The AshTaker used a chair on The Bandit. The AshTaker blasted NJS with a chair shot as well as Deadman got rid of Chief Referee Bob Sage which caused a DQ. The AshTaker grabbed The Bandit's TWF World Championship and the crowd booed as he held it up high as the season première of Grit BasH came to an end.
