February 29th 2004
Air Wales Arena, Broadlands, BridgendAn extended highlights package, featuring the dramatic end to RAW, as well as highlights of the featured matches tonight start off the show.
"And Now...The TWF Presents, Deadly MindGames 04!" The crowd cheered as Story of the Year's 'Until The Day I Die' blasted through the PA to huge cheers. Scott Hudson and Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan are at ringside and thank XCW for the excellent PPV they just produced. The gallows from HV vs. The AshTaker are still here, along with the tombstone and the pit, which will be used for the xWa Championship match later tonight between NJS and Hawke!
'Graveyard Symphony' begins to echo through the PA...BAM! The M.O.D. sign bursts into flames and the crowd jeers as the TWF Tag-Team Champions, Deadman and The AshTaker walk down to the ring. Scott Hudson asks us if we are ready for action, and we are shown highlights from HV vs. The AshTaker from XCW Apocalypse a few hours ago.
'Out of My Way' by Seether bullets out and the crowd cheers as Brownie and Steven Jenkins come down to the ring. They wait patiently as Hayley Holder walks out...and so does TORRIE WILSON! The crowd cheers as the 2-Time Playboy cover girl walks down to the ring. Scott says "This certainly is interesting!". Indeed it is!
The two teams have had a heated feud over the past few weeks and this match certainly showed this. Both teams were eager to kick each other shitless and did so at every attempt. The match was a tight one to call, but a winner did eventually come out of it. Deadman gave Jenkins the Death Stunner and covered, but Brownie came in and Karate Kicked Deadman! Deadman landed on Jenkins and covered! The AshTaker put Brownie in an Anklelock and Deadman got the pinfall!
The Symphony began to play once more and the crowd jeered as Torrie Wilson leaped into the ring to attend to her clients. But then, AJ Jeffers came down to the ring with a microphone. AJ says that Torrie is his property and that Torrie should leave the ring right now. Torrie refuses. The crowd cheers, and AJ is infuriated. Jenkins and Brownie rise to their feat, look at each other and smile. SMACK! Jeffers is floored with a Double Karate Kick and Brownie and Jenkins pose in victory against Jeffers, but not against the Ministry, here tonight.
Backstage; Mr. Edwards, Hawke, Frekishi, Jason Davies and The Terminator are all backstage. Mr. Edwards says that tonight, Seek And Destroy must do EVERYTHING to find out who destroyed his car. Edwards says that for the first time in his life, he had to have a taxi to the Air Wales Arena...and he only lives 3 minutes away. Hawke senses that one of the S&D members who is not here is behind it. The crowd cheers and seems to agree. Edwards also agrees and says that the list narrows down. Edwards states that the person with the most to gain from leaving is Marz, so he did it!
Rachel Stevens announces that the next match is the first ever Kitchen Pandemonium Match for the TWF Women's Championship. Each competitor has elected one kitchen utensil to bring to the ring for this match. She may use this utensil, and the other competitors' utensils in anyway they so please. The winner of this match is determined by pinfall or submission only. There is No DQ and No Count Outs!
'Lovefurypassionenergy' blasted over the PA and the crowd cheered. Lita walked down to the ring as the TWF Women's Champion and carried with her a Cookie Tray. Lita posed with the title belt before eating a cookie and handing two to Scott and Bobby at ringside.
'Bodies' hit and the crowd jeered. Rachael ran down to the ring with a Trash Can and Falcon came down with a Rolling Pin! The two ladies brutally assaulted Lita until the final competitor ran down to the ring for the save...
AKK ran down with a Frying Pan and and popped Falcon and Rachael with a near comical thud to begin the match.
The utensils were used an awful lot in this match and would help determine a victor. The women of the TWF again showed why they are among the best female wrestlers in the world with a great match. AKK hit The Feliner on Rachael and it all looked to be over. Falcon came in from behind and hit her with the Evenflow DDT. Lita however came in and executed a 'Twist of Fate' on Falcon. Lita went for the Lionsault, but Falcon reversed a roll up by Lita! 1-2-3!
The crowd jeered with fury as Falcon grabbed the TWF Women's Championship and laughed with gusto at Lita who began to cry. Hawke came out onto the stage and with that NJS, incensed with what has just happened, snapped in his changing room. AKK comforted Lita, but Lita wanted none of it. Lita ran to the back knowing that she had been screwed when she clearly had the match won.
--- XCW Apocalypse Highlights ---
Highlights were shown from the XCW Apocalypse PPV which took place earlier.
Backstage, Marz is seen arriving at the arena in his wrestling gear, ready for his match with High Voltage for the Commissioner-ship. Seek And Destroy meet him with angry looks and Mr. Edwards' questions Marz's morality and Marz laughs it off.
Backstage, Blonde Man and Michael King are to conduct an interview. King asks Blonde Man about what is going through his mind, as we are only minutes away from possibly, the match of his life. Blonde Man says that you may ask him what his greatest achievement was, and many would say beating 'The Greatest Of Dem All', Mr. BIG in 2000. But You'd be wrong. His greatest achievement was re-uniting Team EV at Summer Break after winning the TV Championship, and when at Halloween Hell, Jason Davies took that away from him...it pissed him off. So tonight, he will do whatever he can to win the match!
'Well I'm Here!'...The crowd cheered as the lightning bolts began to strike. WHAM! BANG! BOOM! 'High Voltage' by Linkin Park hit and the crowd's cheers got louder and louder as the Commissioner of the Total Wrestling Federation, High Voltage walked down to the ring, slowly and with a purpose. HV was informed that this match is for the Commissionership of the TWF on Grit BasH, and he frankly...couldn't give a damn!
'Game Sequence Initiated'...'Game Sequence Running'...'The Game' hits and the crowd boos as Marz walks down to the ring. The 'Hardest Man in Wrestling' has the honour of being the only man to have been both TWF Chairman and Commish. And tonight, he wants the power back!
HV and Marz, who were once the best of friends, showed no love for each other in this match. It was swift and brutal. How it was decided was all the more shocking! Marz and HV were brawling in the ring when 'Seek And Destroy' hit! The crowd booed as S&D ran into the ring. They looked at HV and then at Marz...and began to punch Marz! Mr. Edwards was calling the shots via the microphone on the ramp way. HV ran up to the stage and asked Mr. Edwards "Why?". Edwards says that Marz is the traitor who was going to join the Rebels. HV laughed and grabbed Mr. Edwards by the throat...and gave him The Electric Shock! The crowd cheered and S&D suddenly stopped fighting Marz. He lay in the middle of the ring in pain with S&D looking at him as if to say "Oh Sh!t...we f**ked this up!"
We are shown some recorded footage from 'earlier today'...which shows a man practising his punches on a punch bag. The man, who is standing in a shadow announces that in 22 days, the TWF will have hell unleashed upon it.
Scott and Bobby replay the footage from moments ago, where Seek And Destroy attacked Marz, because they believe him to be the man who dropped the concrete block on Mr. Edwards' BMW. Scott and Bobby then discuss this man, who's promos have left TWF fans wondering his who the hell he is? Bobby says that he feels this person is someone we have seen before, but he's not sure who.
Scott says that one thing is certain...the TWF's next PPV is an important one. It is No Way BacK, where we will celebrate the TWF's 5th Year with a Celebration to end all Celebrations. The event is sold out, as you can imagine, but right after Deadly MindGames, you can order No Way BacK on PPV. NWB '04 comes to you on March 21st 2004 from GCourt Arena, the home of No Way Out...the TWF's first PPV on March 19th 2000!
Scott and Bobby have however been interrupted, because The Bandit and The Assassin are fighting in the front row! The two men have a referee and their match is right now! Referee Keith Jones orders the bell be rung and the match begins on the other side of the barricade for the TWF Intercontinental Championship!
The Bandit and The Assassin contested a 5* match, that was worthy of the xWa Championship, rather than the IC Title, but it was a title match nonetheless! Anyway, The Bandit and The Assassin brawled all over ringside and in the ring. The Bandit exposed one of the turnbuckles and attempted to barricade Assassin with brutal shots to it...but of course, The Assassin is the #1 Masked Man! The Bandit did hit The Stupifier and covered, but this was unsuccessful. Assassin went for his move, The Last Rites and connected, before attempting Christopher Daniel's version of the move...but Bandit reversed it, into The Stupifier! 1-2-3! We have a winner!
'Somewhere I Belong' thundered over the PA system to huge cheers as The Bandit hoists the TWF IC Championship. His friend JT Money ran down to the ring to join in the celebrations as The Assassin left the ring through the crowd with a smile on his face. The Bandit stood proud on the turnbuckles with JT clapping before leaving the ring to a huge ovation. Almost 1 year on from his TWF debut, The Bandit has made sure he goes down as one of the greatest, tonight at DMG!

'Times Like These' by the Foo Fighters]
Scott and Bobby analyse a replay of the closing moments of one of the greatest IC Title battles in history.
Backstage, Marz is holding an Ice-Pack, still injured from his beatdown by his stablemates earlier on, when the man who beat him, HV, walks into the room. HV says that although he hates Marz, he thought what happened earlier sucked and HV states that he has nothing to do with it. Marz says he figured that out and Marz explains that S&D believe he was behind the crane. HV tells Marz he knows who it was, and he only wants Marz to know...HV whispers the name into Marz's ear, and Marz smiles. He asks HV if it is really him, and HV says that it is. HV then says..."Have A Nice Day" and sucker punches Marz! The crowd cheers as HV leaves he says..."The Truth Hurts".
Scott and Bobby introduce a video package building up the next contest...Blonde Man vs. Jason Davies for the TWF TV Championship.

'Ticket To Heaven' - 3 Doors Down]
Rachel Stevens explains that tonight's Last Man Standing match will be fought 'Texas Death Match' rules, meaning you must pin your opponent and have them not get up after the 10-Count to win tonight's match, which is for the TWF TV Championship.
'Always' hit and the crowd gave the biggest jeers of the night, thus far, to Jason Davies, who walked out alone. He entered the ring, kissed his title belt and eyed up the ramp way, awaiting his arch enemy.
'Out of My Way' blasted over the PA and the crowd exploded as Blonde Man ran like a bullet-train down to the ring! He brought with him a steel chair!
The two men had perhaps the greatest match of their feud and the best Last Man Standing match in wrestling history. They couldn't give a crap how much blood they bled, or how much pain they were in...they wanted a winner. During the match, whilst Davies had been pinned by Blonde Man, JCVS leaped into the ring and pinned Davies and won the Hardkore Championship! 24/7 rule is always active, my friends! 15 minutes after that, Blonde Man and Davies punched each other, with both men going down. Blonde Man went to the outside and grabbed a steel chain. He wrapped it around his fist and punched Davies with it one last time and covered...1-2-3. But the 10-count awaited. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8...Davies looked to be getting back up! Blonde Man punched him once more...9-10!
'Out of My Way' hit and the crowd cheered and applauded. These two men gave their all, and Blonde Man became TWF TV Champion once more, to the delight of the crowd. This blood bath will not be forgotten for a LONG time!
--- XCW Apocalypse Highlights ---
Another review package from Apocalypse earlier aired, reminding us of the great XCW PPV.
Backstage, Frekishi is walking to the ring area.
Backstage, The Shott is getting ready for the TWF World Championship match, coming up next!
Backstage, NJS is getting ready for his xWa Buried Alive Match, which will follow, when his G/F walks in. NJS walks in from a separate area in the room wearing a Bridgend Blue Wings jersey, which gets the biggest pop of the night. NJS says if he's gonna get buried, it's gonna be wearing a Blue Wings jersey. Suddenly, NJS's cell phone starts singing the tune of 'Prayer' and NJS answers "B-I-G-G-I-E...there's only one!". The crowd cheers and NJS begins to nod and laugh. He hangs up and Lita asks what that was all about. Biggie said he was watching at his house and he just noticed Frekishi is wearing a thong to the ring. NJS and Lita laugh, and NJS suddenly tackles Lita to the crowd, throws off her shoes and they playfully fight before we cut away to the ring.
The infamous beats of 'Cowboys From Hell' by Pantera bullet through the PA as the pyros go off. The Shott jumps out onto the stage to huge cheers from the crowd. The Shott, should he win this match, will face High Voltage at No Way BacK 2 for the TWF World Championship, as reigning Champion.
"I'm A Bad-Bad-Bad Man...Haha!" 'Fhat Man' hits and the crowd jeers in sync as Frekishi, the most hated man in all of pro-wrestling right now, walks slowly down to the ring. But, The Shott jumps him! The two men brawl in the aisle before getting in the ring.
This match certainly lived up to expectations, despite not being the final match on the card. The two men showed in great style why they are among the best wrestlers today with a display of brawling and technical wrestling. Mr. Edwards ran down to the ring, however, and had a Steel Chair in hand. He nailed The Shott cold with 1 hard shot! Referee Peter Cavalli ordered the match end and The Shott has won via a DQ decision. Mr. Edwards holds Frekishi's arm up high when someone speaks over the PA. "Yo Edwards, I hope you're happy you just killed Shottie". The crowd cheers...it's Mr. BIG's voice. Edwards has a microphone and Edwards asks Biggie where he is. Biggie says that he told NJS he is at his house...well THIS is his house! Every building he has performed in is his house. Edwards begins to get scared and stands behind Frekishi...but suddenly a spotlight falls on Biggie...he's in a hospitality suite and he informs everyone that he's gonna be back sooner than he thought because "Nobody Betta 'Dan B...I...G!". Biggie grabs 2 Cherry Cokes and does his usual drinking before turning the lights out on his hospitality suite, with Edwards and Frekishi both looking pissed.
Scott and Bobby then inform everyone that up next is the Main Event, NJS vs. Hawke in a Buried Alive Match for the xWa Championship!

'Until The Day I Die' - Story of the Year]
Scott Hudson thanks Story of the Year for their kick-ass track 'Until The Day I Die', taken from 'Page Avenue', the official theme song of TWF Deadly MindGames 2004!
'What About Hawke?' echoes over the PA and the crowd boos. Hawke walks out onto the stage and looks over at the pit. He leaps over, looks it over before going underneath the ring and getting out a trash can full of goodies.
The y2j-ohmmeter counts down and the crowd explodes with cheers a plenty. BANG! 'Away From Me' hits and NJS smiles as he walks down to the ring with the xWa Championship over his shoulder. He enters the ring, eyes down Hawke and the match begins.
Only one word can describe this match: Awesome. This was the greatest match contested in a TWF ring since the Pyramid Cage Match in July 2003. Unreal. The crowd was jakked. The wrestling was fantastic. Those who didn't order this PPV will kick themselves! The action centred around the pit area, and it all looked to be over and Hawke hit the Evenflow DDT on NJS, into the pit. Hawke began to shovel NJS in, when Falcon ran in and joined in! The two shovelled NJS in, until Lita came in! She had a shovel and planted Falcon with it! She hit a Twist of Fate on Hawke and picked NJS up out of the grave. Lita suddenly pointed toward the TotalTron. Then, the MAZDA pulled up! The crowd cheered. The Mazda managed to drive into arena, and it had a trailer, full of dirt and mud! Hawke got out of the grave however and NJS brawled with Hawke whilst Lita began to shovel extra dirt onto the grave. NJS shoved Hawke into the Tombstone...and N-Factored him into the grave! The crowd cheered as the Mazda managed to get up two wooden planks and the dirt piled on top of Hawke! The crowd exploded as the 'Away From Me' hit. NJS and Lita posed on the grave and the Mazda disappeared. It then re-appeared on stage and the driver door swung open...a man with black wrestling boots got out...and the driver pulled off a black mask...to reveal A BLUE ONE! THE ASSASSIN WAS THE DRIVER! The crowd exploded! The Assassin has Screwed Seek & Destroy! NJS's master plan has worked to perfection! The Assassin opened up the boot/trunk of the Mazda and pulled out a set of Budweisers. The Assassin and NJS drunk on Hawke's grave whilst Lita stood on the tombstone as Deadly MindGames drew to a close.
