TWF Friday Fury
July 16th 2004
Bridgend Recreation Centre, Bridgend

An opening package showed highlights from Wednesday's Grit BasH and previewed some of the matches for Total Chaos.

'I Disappear' by Metallica hits and the crowd EXPLODES! A new video package with some of the big moves, big superstars and big matches of the TWF opens out show, before a spectacular fireworks display is set off. The set is really big and has a central entrance way, with a circular TotalTron on the right of it. Scott Hudson has a vacant seat at ringside tonight because Joey Styles is back in the US. Who will join him tonight? Also, we are expecting to see a face from the past here and our main event is bound to be explosive...the Rebels With Attitude take on Seek And Destroy in a straight up 5-on-5 match before Sunday's WarGames Match!

"Just-Just-Just Think About It!"...the greatest hiTz montage begins to fly through...BANG! "Where's Your Crown, King Nothing?"...the crowd cheers as the TWF World Champion walks down to the ring with a huge smile on his face. Scott mentions that Mr. BIG will be a part of the WarGames match on Sunday and tonight's main event. Biggie gets into the ring and takes the microphone from tonight's ring announcer, Rachel Stevens. Biggie starts off by saying..."Finally, The BIG Storm has come back to Bridgend...with FURY!". Biggie comments on the Fury set, music and overall look of it by saying it looks extremely good. He is out here to say hello to everyone and to say that he will be victorious in tonight's main event. Biggie then turns his attention to the empty seat next to Scott Hudson tonight. Biggie explains that since Joey Styles is in the US negotiating a deal to work on H2 Wrestling shows, tonight, we will have a very special guest at the announce table. Since the TWF is going retro to celebrate it's 5th Anniversary, we decided to bring him back...for one night only...BOBBY "THE BRAIN" HEENAN! The crowd cheers loudly as the Brain's music starts back up as he accompanied down to the ring by NJS and Lita. He sits down to a standing ovation. Bobby, sounding croaky after recovering from throat cancer, says he is glad to be back at the announce desk, where he belongs. 'King Nothing' hits as Mr. BIG walks backstage.

Backstage; Seek And Destroy are in their locker room relaxing when Frekishi walks in through the door. Frekishi is given awkward looks as he enters the room by everyone because of what happened on Grit BasH where he did not aide HV in the Tag-Team Match. Frekishi then says "OK, allow me to make this clear for everyone. I didn't mean to do nothing during the match. My mind stopped...I couldn't think what to do". High Voltage gets in Frekishi's face and blames it all on him, which does not aide the situation. Frekishi then says "yeah, at least I didn't get nailed with an Equaliser right out of nowhere to lose the match!". HV then goes straight at Frekishi but Seek And Destroy intervene, with Hawke standing between them. Hawke says that this is the last thing Seek And Destroy needs right now is more arguments! So tonight, and on Sunday, they must stand together. After Sunday, he doesn't care, but tonight, you must stand together! HV and Frekishi look at each other and unwillingly agree.

In the arena, Holly is already making her way down to the ringside with Karl Davies. Holly is set to take on old nemesis Atomically Kool Kat in a one-on-one encounter here tonight.
'All Falls Down' by Kanye West hits and the crowd gives a mixed reaction as Atomically Kool Kat makes her way down to the ring with Rhys Hopkins, her boyfriend. These two ladies are not exactly best of friends, particularly after Holly's treatment of AKK's brother, Biggie last year.
Although this was the first match in the history of Fury, many will be cynical as to why this was the very first match, because of the female involvement. But it entertained the crowds in the arena and at home, so there was nothing to worry about. Holly hit a Fisherman DDT to pick up a victory, when Lita came down to the ring and eyed up both women with her belt before walking backstage.

[TWF Returns!]

We are back in a bright and sunny Bridgend for tonight's debut edition of TWF Friday Night Fury. Fury is brought to you tonight by Sky +, create your own TV channel; and Doug Edwards Steel Sales...good services at good prices! Scott and Bobby show us what happened moments ago when Lita eyed up both Holly and Atomically Kool Kat with her Women's Title Belt.

In the ring, Mr. Smooth has a microphone. The Sit Down With A Superstar set is out and he informs us that tonight, the TWF begins a new era, as one is about to end. On Sunday, two waring factions settle the score in the most brutal match ever created, WarGames: The Match Beyond. And tonight, the TWF begins a new era, with the introduction of it's new TV show...Friday Fury. But, as Biggie would say..."Some Things Never Change", and here we are, with SIT DOWN WITH A SUPERSTAR! 'Superstar' hits and Smoothy says that tonight, he has a great guest. Since the TWF is turning a little retro to celebrate the 5th Summer Break, which is something we thought we would never see, we have a retro-a-holic guest for you tonight. He is a former TWF European and TWF World Champion, and once lead a group of renegades into the TWF to try and take fX out of here...please welcome the man also known as Lt. Sumo Samurai...OWEN CARL!
The crowd JEERS in a huge way. The boos rival Chezi's at XtreMe Overload 2 weeks ago. Owen enters the ring in his old Sumo Samurai gear, but has a microphone. Owen says that he wants Smoothy to get this interview over and done with. The buffet table is calling him. Smoothy's first question to Owen is what is it like to be back in the TWF world again. Owen says that it all feels the same...Hawke is still the best wrestler here, and Mr. BIG is still the worst TWF World Champion ever. Smoothy then question's motives considering he retired from active competition in September 2000 and then lead Revolution from there on in. Owen says he had so much success, he didn't need to fight any more. If Smoothy actually fought for his career, maybe he would say why. Smoothy takes objection to what Sumo just said and says that he actually likes what he does. He's dreamed since he was a little boy to be part of a wrestling promotion that gets beamed into millions of homes and to be respected by these people, so as far as he is concerned, he has fought from the bottom to the top and he's damn proud of what he has accomplished. Carl just laughs, but Smoothy wastes no time and plants him with a Smooth Kick! Smoothy laughs as he stomps Owen Carl out of the ring before taking the microphone and says "Think Again before you Sit Down With Smoothy!". 'Superstar' hits as we look at Owen Carl, laying outside the ring.

Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan remind us that on Sunday night, the TWF brings to you, live from the Brynteg Arena, Total Chaos 2004. The main event will feature the War To Settle The Score...WarGames: The Match Beyond. JT Money, Mr. BIG, NJS, The Assassin and The Bandit will face off against Frekishi, Hawke, High Voltage, Jason Davies and Karl Davies in the most brutal match in wrestling history. And here's just a taste of what to expect!
A video package, introduced by NJS, tells us that the WarGames match consists of two rings placed inside one roofed steel cage. To begin the match, 1 man from each team is inside the cage. After 5 minutes, a coin toss takes place to see which team has the advantage. After each man has entered, so begins the match beyond...Submission or Surrender! Highlights are shown from the WarGames match at Xtreme Overload a few weeks ago, and it has particular significance on Bandit, who took part at Overload and will take part at Total Chaos!

"You Gotta Keep Rollin!"...'Rollin' by Limp Bizkit plays to huge cheers. Deadman comes down to the ring on a 1998 Limited Edition Harley Davidson and then enters the ring and poses on each side of the ring. Footage shows of what happened on Grit BasH, where Deadman and his partner for tonight were attacked by former Team EV members Blonde Man and Brownie.
'Out of My Way' by Seether hits to huge cheers as Steven Jenkins walks down to the ring with his manager of many years, Hayley Holder. The break up of Team EV began when Brownie & Steven Jenkins lost the TWF Tag-Team Championships a couple of months ago to the current champions, The Rogerz.
The old Team EV music hits as Brownie and the TWF TV Champion, Blonde Man walk down to the ring posing in various sporting ways, with Holly by their side. Holly is not tired after pinning AKK earlier on tonight.
These two young teams, yet quite established superstars, contested a ferocious match as a preview of their individual matches on Sunday. It looked like Team EV, Brownie and Blonde Man would pick up the victory after hitting the Karate Kick on Steven, but Deadman came in and broke up the count. Holly then tried to distract Deadman, but Hayley grabbed her and a cat fight ensued! The males cheered and Blonde Man, the legal man, watched the girls fight, drooling. Meanwhile, Steven had hit the Jenkins DDT on Brownie, and as Blonde Man turned around, he was met by the Deadman Slam! 1-2-3!
'Rollin' hit to huge cheers as Deadman, Steven and Hayley stood over the carnage they have produced here tonight! They have a huge psychological edge going into the matches at Total Chaos this Sunday!

We then cut to a pre-recorded segment, shot earlier at a cemetery in the Bridgend area. It is a dark, misty place and we suddenly focus on an opened grave, where Big Sexy Badass, Silver and Summer are standing. BSB says that considering they will face AshTaker and Terminator in a Falls Count Anywhere match this Sunday, they are here in the place these people call home. The local cemetary...full of souls buried from years gone by. You know, S.I.N. have been spotted in these grounds in years gone by, and this grave will represent the soul of another person who will be here soon. And that is a member of S.I.N. See, The Triple Threat have thought of everything to try and beat you S.I.N, but we have one last trick up our sleeves, and you will witness it at Total Chaos, or you will join the souls rested here...forever.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott Hudson and Bobby Heenan welcome us back to the debut edition of TWF Friday Night Fury, live from the Bridgend Recreation Centre, which tonight is being brought to you by Sky +, create your own TV channel; and Doug Edwards Steel Sales...good services at good prices! Scott and Bobby remind us that after TWF Total Chaos this Sunday, you can catch this week's edition of HDW Deadstream, where JT Money will face Dean in the Second Round of the Golden Contender Tournament, and Bandit, Dave Brickheart, Mitch B, Jabingo and Mr. BIG face each other to determine the #1 Contender for the World Crown Championship!

Rachel Stevens gets on the microphone and says "Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is a 10-man tag-team match. Now, allow me to introduce a TWF legend will referee this match...MICK FOLEY!".
'Wreck' hits and the crowd EXPLODES as Foley walks down to the ring wearing his old Mankind shirt with stripes down the middle, representing himself as a Zebra. The XCW Co-Owner is back in the TWF for this one night only appearance on the debut edition of Friday Fury!

'Seek And Destroy' hits and the crowd boos loudly as Hawke and Falcon lead High Voltage, Frekishi, Jason Davies, Karl Davies and Holly down to the ring for this, our main event. Scott reminds us that tonight is going to be just a preview of WarGames on Sunday!
'Bleeding Mascara' by Atreyu plays and the crowd's cheers get louder as this new music plays...It is the Sadist Nation Theme! Bandit and JT Money appear on stage in Christopher Daniels-like poses before walking down to the ring.
'Cemetery Gates' hits and the cheers continue to get louder as the Rebels assemble on the ramp. The Assassin, the #1 Masked Man, is out next. He is cheered down to the ring and is wearing black, instead of his usual blue here tonight.
The y2j-ohmeter counts down to 00...BAM! 'Away From Me' hits to huge cheers from the capacity crowd in the Bridgend Rec as NJS walks down to the ring. His entrance is cut a little short, because..."Just-Just-Just Think About It'! The crowd is still standing and the cheers are at their loudest...BANG! "WHERE'S YOUR CROWN, KING NOTHING?" The crowd cheers as 'King Nothing' by Metallica hits and the TWF World Champion, Mr. BIG, walks out onto the stage. He waits with his Rebels partners before entering the ring. Seek And Destroy scatter, as Biggie and NJS go around the ring high fiving fans. Then, Seek And Destroy enter the ring and the match begins.
Considering the extra ordinary circumstances surrounding this match, it lived up to expectations. Foley provided an entertaining referee and the match was enjoyable to watch. However, the wrestling was great, and it finally came to an end after a long battle when Mr. BIG hit The BIG Storm on High Voltage. NJS then came in and hit a Lionsault and the match was over. Post match, Seek And Destroy decided to go back old habits, grabbing steel chairs and nailing each member of the Rebels with a chair. High Voltage grabbed Mr. BIG's TWF World Championship belt and posed with it before leaving. Did Seek And Destroy have an advantage going into Sunday's PPV? If they didn't, now they do!
