September 15th 2004
Brynteg Stadium, BridgendTo begin the show, we are shown highlights from last week's Grit BasH, where Blood Brother Matthew made an unexpected and unwelcome return to disrupt the main event of the show. Also last week, we learnt that Bandit and JT Money are stuck in Florida and are without a flight back home.
'Heavy' hits and it sounds a lot better this evening, thanks to the new sound editing software the TWF began using tonight. The fireworks go off as we prepare for one of the last outdoor events of the year at Brynteg Stadium, which is full to capacity tonight. Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside and inform us that our main event was booked by Hawke earlier on today, which sees Frekishi and Mr. BIG teaming up to face Hawke and AJ Jeffers in a non-championship bout.
'Fhat Man' hit and the TWF World Champion Frekishi made his way down to the ring, microphone in hand. When he entered the ring, Frekishi said that tonight he returns to his old stomping ground...Brynteg, where the bPA grew up and existed in force. But, Frekishi has learned a valuable lesson in the past week...old friends make the best enemies. Hawke is a great example. A few years ago, the two were inseparable, but now, they hate each other's guts. Kinda like Mr. BIG and Marz. Frekishi states that he understands Hawke thinks he has an advantage because Mr. BIG and he do not get along. Frekishi says that is particularly true, but, tonight, the two men will forget all differences and make sure that they leave the Triad...laying. 'Fhat Man' hits once more as Frekishi leaves and heads to the back.
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles run through the matches confirmed thus far for Eve of Destruction, with the TWF debuting some awesome looking match preview screens here tonight. TWF World Championship...Hawke vs. Frekishi - No-DQ...Z-Pack vs. Rogerz and Assassin vs. a Triad Member. Joey informs us that later on tonight, we expect The Assassin to confirm the identity of his opponent at Eve of Destruction.
Protege and TWF debutante J-Fox took on Team EV's Brownie and Blonde Man in the opening contest. The debuting J-Fox looked particularly strong in this match, particularly when he and Brownie wrestled in the ring together. Protege and Blonde Man continued their bitter feud over the TV Championship, which spilled into the crowd at one point. But, J-Fox showed what fans can come to expect from him in the future, by hitting a brutal Piledriver on Brownie for a victory.
As the match ended, the Jocks made an appearance. Jason and Karl Davies along with Holly ran down to the ring and quad-triple teamed Protege and Fox until Steven Jenkins and Deadman made their way to the ring. They evened the score, until suddenly, Hayley Holder ran down to the ring in Jocks attire! The Jocks' property because of the stipulations at Summer Break, she entered the ring and could only stand and watch as The Jocks beat down these allied powers. Hayley was not impressed as The Jocks celebrated this beat-down and walked backstage.
Backstage; Mr. BIG is shown on screen to HUGE cheers from the crowd. He appears to be heading toward the ring...NEXT!

"JUST THINK ABOUT IT!"...the crowd explodes...BANG! 'King Nothing' by Metallica hits to huge cheers and Mr. BIG hits the ring wearing a Detroit Red Wings #40 Zetterberg Jersey and in his casual attire. Biggie enters the ring and takes the microphone from tonight's ring announcer, making her TWF debut, Elisha Cuthbert.
Biggie starts off by saying that "Finally...The BIG Storm...has come back to...BRY-flippin-TEG!". The crowd cheers as Biggie continues. Biggie says that what happened on Wednesday involving Blood Brother Matthew shows that ghosts can come back to haunt you. Biggie says that when confronted with a person like that...there is only one action: force. Anyway, Biggie says, the less said about that, the betta. Biggie announces his disgust at what just happened involving the Jocks, so at Eve of Destruction; Blade, Steven Jenkins, Protege and J-Fox will face The Jocks in an 8-Man Tag Match! And seeing that Hayley Holder is very discontent with being in the Jocks, she will fight Holly in a one-on-one match at Eve of Destruction, with TWF Women's Champion, Lita, as special ring announcer and time keeper! And if ya don't like it...then tough shit! Biggie also announces that later on in the broadcast, we will discover who will be fighting in the annual "King of Xtreme" match at Eve of Destruction. Biggie then informs everyone that NJS is still very angry at the events of what happened in Russia, and is still at home with Lita considering his position. But, Biggie informs the Rogerz, who are not here tonight, that NJS will be at Eve of Destruction and he will be ready to take them on...and Take...Them Out. You will...FEAR "OUR FURY"! WHO BETTA?!
'King Nothing' hits as Mr. BIG walks backstage to a rapturous applause from the crowd.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles welcome us back to tonight's edition of TWF Grit BasH, which is being brought to you by..."NWA-TNA Victory Road 2004", live November 7th 2004, only on Pay-Per-View and Nissan...makers of the 350Z sports car!
Backstage: The Assassin is with Mr. Smooth. Smoothy asks Assassin whether he has picked his opponent for the match at Eve of Destruction. Assassin says it wasn't like he had much choice. Marz is out injured and Hawke already has to fight Frekishi for the World Title...so The Assassin nominated Falcon. WHAT?! Smoothy clarifies and Assassin repeats his answer! Assassin says he chose Falcon because she looks like a man in any case and she needs to get her ass kicked and handed to the Gods by the Modern Day Messiah and #1 Masked Man! Assassin walks away with Smoothy bewildered.
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are back at ringside where they give us a quick update on the superstars not with us tonight. Scott confirms that Marz has been sidelined for 3-4 weeks with a chest injury, which is not as serious as first thought. NJS is not with us due to family issues, but his brother, Deadman, will compete in the next match. JCVS is also out for around 4-5 weeks due to a separated shoulder which happened during a BCW match with The Vamp. And finally, Bandit and JT Money, who have been stuck in Florida for the past 2 weeks, have finally been cleared to return to the UK and will be present for the Eve of Destruction!
AshTaker took on Silver in the next contest. Before the match began, we were shown footage of what happened at Summer Break V, where The AshTaker and Terminator became xWa Tag-Team Champions. Both men were accompanied by their tag-team partners for the match. The two contested a very interesting technical battle which surprised much of the crowd. But, victory was eventually attained by Silver, who hit the Quicksilver on the AshTaker out of nowhere.
Post-match, Terminator and AshTaker were left in the ring to their won devices as BSB, Silver and Summer taunted them.
Backstage: Michael King is inside Hawke's office. King asks Hawke's opinions on the matches Biggie made earlier on in the show. Hawke said the matches are OK by him and will be added to the show. Hawke then goes on to confirm that at Eve of Destruction, the participants of the King of Xtreme match will be defending champion JT Money, The Vamp, Blade, Jean Claude Van Slam and one man from HDW, who has yet to be named. Hawke also confirms that participants of the King of the Ring Battle Royal will include: Ryan Jenkins, Joe Whelan, Rhys Hopkins, The Bandit, The Shott and many more to be confirmed at FURY!
Deadman and Blade, the TWF IC and Hardkore champions contested a non-title match next. These two surprised the crowd by contesting a fantastic match between two competitors with similar styles, but ranging experience. Blade is still relatively new to the TWF, having wrestled since 2002, where as Deadman was a product of WWC in it's days in 2000. This match, however, did not have a winner as The Jocks again made their presence felt. They entered the ring and beat down the champions, but, suddenly, the lights went off! It was too dark to see anything naturally, so the stadium was pitch black! When the floodlights were turned back on, the Jocks were laid out on the floor with Deadman and Blade on the ramp with Holly between them. She flicks her shoes off, but Deadman and Blade have a better idea. Deadman and Blade notice a table situated beneath the TotalTron. Deadman shouts at Holly "Hey bitch, it's time to get even!". Deadman grabs Holly and throws her with sickening force off the stage and through the table! Hayley Holder suddenly makes her way out to the ramp and looks over Holly and smiles before walking backstage with Blade and Deadman.

Scott Hudson and Joey Styles remind us to join them on Friday for FURY, live from the Fisco Arena in North Cornelly, the former home of the Cornelly Coyotes hockey team, for the final stop before the Eve of Destruction on Friday. Scott Hudson then replays the footage of Holly being thrown off the ramp and through a table by Deadman a few moments ago. Joey Styles says that someone should have stopped those two "maniacs" before anything else bad happens. Scott Hudson says that people like Holly usually get what's coming to them.
The main event was up next. The Triad made their entrances first and Hawke was seen to be dedicating this match to Marz, who is expected to be out for a couple of weeks with a chest injury. Then, the lights went out once more, but this time for a legitimate reason. "Just Think About It"....BANG! "WHERE'S YOUR CROWN, KING NOTHING?" Mr. BIG's theme song finally sounds right as he makes his way down to the ramp before awaiting the arrival of his partner...Frekishi then made his way out to cheers from the crowd before both men posed on the turnbuckles to huge cheers.
The match was fast-paced and not just kept the crowd on their toes but the wrestlers as well. The worsening conditions in Brynteg Stadium made for some interesting improvisation from both teams. But, it came to an interesting end. Falcon, who was at ringside, nailed Mr. BIG with his own TWF Tag-Team Championship belt and he was rolled up by Hawke. Frekishi was impeded by Falcon but as the referee did not see, the count was made and the Triad went away with a shocking victory.
As the match ended and the Triad made their way up the ramp, The Assassin stopped them in their tracks. Assassin did not let them pass, and instead the Triad was forced down to the ring, where Mr. BIG and Frekishi were waiting. Hawke and AJ however appeared to out-smart the "New" triad of Biggie, Assassin and Frek, by leaping over the guardrails and being followed out of the arena by head of TWF security, David Owen. The crowd booed, but in the ring, Mr. BIG, Frekishi and Assassin decided "SO WHAT!" and downed Cherry Cokes to celebrate the final outdoor event of the year.
