TWF Wednesday Grit BasH
October 6th 2004
Newport Centre, Newport, Gwent

A highlight reel from Grit BasH opens the show, with the news of the match at Halloween Hell between S.I.N. and the Z-Pack, plus High Voltage's appearance at the show, which caused quite a stir.

'Heavy' plays to huge cheers from the capacity crowd as the fireworks and pyros go off around the stage. Welcome to the show...where tonight, we have been informed that The Protégé will take on Jason Davies in a Lumberjack Match! Also tonight, The Shott and Ryan Jenkins have an Eve of Destruction re-match. Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside tonight, and they inform us that due to family issues, NJS is not here, but Mr. BIG is, and we expect to hear from him later on in the show.

'The Four Horsemen' by Metallica hits and the crowd boos in a BIG way as Holly leads the Jocks, dressed in similar attire of NFL-style jerseys down to the ring. Holly, again, is wearing a fetching suit. Highlights show from last week's Grit BasH of the Jocks's antics, including attempting to get a hold of Deadman's Harley Davidson. Holly takes the microphone first, from tonight's Ring Announcer - Rachel Stevens.
Holly says that over the past couple of the weeks, the Jocks have been making an impact right across the xWa. In XCW, they have taken a grip over Deadman and his ways. In the TWF, they have been taking a hold of what happens to Deadman here. Holly then says "Basically, we think Deadman is a fool". The crowd boos as she continues. With Deadman now out injured, they are free to do as they please. They have eliminated one of the "Allied Powers" and they are seeking to eliminate a second. Tonight, they will eliminate Protégé. The Jocks are making sure they get noticed because in the future, everyone will fear them. From the mention of their name, people will run scared of them...because they are more athletic, stronger and in general, better than anyone else. And they will prove that tonight when they take out one of their former members...Protégé.
'The Four Horsemen' hits as Holly leads the troops backstage, and they look very happy as they walk behind the curtain.

Backstage; The Triad are in Hawke's office, discussing their actions against High Voltage on Wednesday, when The Assassin walks in and says that Hawke wanted to see him. Hawke says that as a thank you for aiding them on Grit BasH, The Assassin is granted one wish...a match at Halloween Hell against an opponent of his choosing. The Assassin says that's great...but he doesn't want to fight any ONE at Halloween Hell. He wants a handicap match...The Assassin vs. Marz & AJ Jeffers! The crowd goes ballistic as Assassin walks out of the door, with Marz and AJ argue about the decision, whilst Hawke smiles candidly and says "He has no idea what he has let himself in for".

In the arena, 'Never Gonna Stop' hits and smoke engulfs the stage to huge cheers from the capacity crowd as Blade walks down to the ring for this Hardkore Title match against Adam Taylor. Highlights show from their previous encounters as we are shown pre-recorded comments from Blade, who says that through meetings with Taylor before, he believes they can put on a great match here tonight.
'Symphony of Destruction' hits and Adam Taylor runs down to the ring with weapons galore, ready for this match.
This match surprised the crowd as both men really put a lot of effort into it. Taylor used a lot of weapons, giving Blade lots of chair shots, trash can hits and even used the ring bell. Blade however used a different way of using the legal weapons, by hitting moves such as Elbow Drops onto the materials loitered around the ring. Blade picked up the victory however, using the Blazer to it's best effect, hitting it off the turnbuckle onto a trash can lid.
As 'Never Gonna Stop' hit, the Red Hoodie Crew invaded the ring, attacking Blade as well. But, the rest of the "Allied Powers" filtered down to the ring, minus Deadman and the Red Hoodie Crew left the ring quickly. Steven Jenkins takes the microphone and informs the Red Hoodie Crew and the Jocks that they are now firmly locked in the cross-hairs and they will not be around much longer, because they have met a force they cannot move...these men in the ring right now. And you will see "ALL...THE...RAGE!". Steven cuts his trademark line for the first time in quite some time before leading the group backstage.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott and Joey welcome us back to a wet Newport in Gwent, Wales for the first ever TWF event at the Newport Centre, which is being brought to you by Vodafone, How are You? and Honda...The Power of Dreams. Scott and Joey remind us that still to come is Mr. Smooth's Sit Down With A Superstar and the main event of a lumberjack match between The Protégé and Jason Davies.

The arena suddenly blacks out and some sections of the crowd are cheering. "JUST THINK ABOUT IT". The rest of the crowd leaps on their feet as the greatest hiTz montage plays...BANG! "WHERE'S YOUR CROWN, KING NOTHING?"...Mr. BIG stands in the middle of the stage in his usual reverse crucifix and is wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball cap and a Man Utd Jersey, and has the TWF Women's Championship in his hands. Biggie also looks very angry and we will see if he is in his speech.
Biggie grabs the microphone from Rachel Stevens and proclaims "Finally, the BIG Storm...has hit...NEWPORT-CITY!". The crowd explodes as he adds city to the sentence as Newport only officially became a city 2 years ago. Biggie says that tonight, he has finally reached the end of his fuse with just about everyone. For a start, everyone is moaning about Xtreme Intentions on Saturday and that they don't know what matches will take place. Well, he can now announce, as co-founder as the xWa, which two matches will take place to represent the TWF. To begin with, Frekishi will put his TWF World Championship on the line against Hawke...and King of the Ring Winner, The Shott in a Triple Threat Match! The crowd applauds this decision. Mr. BIG says that the other match of his choosing will be announced at FURY. His next decision revolves around this very belt that is in his hands. Due to the circumstances surrounding Lita's pregnancy, she will not be on TWF TV from now until after the birth. So, at Halloween Hell, there will be a one-night tournament between 4 ladies to determine a new champion. Those 4 ladies will be determined on October 20th at Grit BasH from the Wick Community Centre. How, you may ask? Simple. 12 ladies will participate in 2 separate battle royals, 6 in each match. The last two ladies standing will advance to the PPV. Every active member of the TWF Women's Division will enter, besides Elisha Cuthbert and Jennifer Love Hewitt, who are both away on film duty, and Rachel Stevens will not take part so she may promote her new single "More More More". On to tonight. Biggie has seen what has transpired between The Jocks and these "Allied Powers", and he has made a decision. Should the lumberjacks make the match turn into anarchy, both factions will be barred from TWF TV for 2 weeks and will all be fined without pay. Karl Davies's title shot at Halloween Hell will be retracted, and Protégé's TWF TV Championship will be declared vacant. And just to ensure the rules will be enforced, Mr. BIG will be special ringside enforcer! The crowd cheers as Mr. BIG walks backstage, after slapping the fans hands.

Backstage; S.I.N. look on. Michael King approaches and asks for a few words. AshTaker and Terminator refuse and instead lead us to the parking lot, where they stand outside Mr. BIG's prized Ferrari 360 Spider. AshTaker brings out a can of petrol/gasoline and begins to fill it up from the petrol pump situated near the car. Terminator has a match and it appears they are going to set the car on fire. Suddenly...a loud revving noise is heard and a big car rolls down the ramp, making AshTaker and Terminator jump out of the way. It is a metallic brown Chevrolet TrailBlazer! The crowd boos VICIOUSLY. The door swings open and a man wearing white leather pants and blue wrestling boots walks out...it's The Shott! He turns to the camera and says "You were expecting someone else?". The crowd laughs as we see AshTaker and Terminator walking away, realising their plan has been foiled.

In the arena, 'Natural Born Killaz' hits, and Hawke leads out AJ Jeffers, Marz and Falcon. Footage shows of earlier on tonight, where The Assassin announced his intentions of having a handicap match against AJ and Marz at Halloween Hell. This is a tag-team match, but Marz and Falcon are present at ringside.
"CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES"..."THIS IS MY LAST RESORT!". The crowd pops big time as Big Sexy Badass leads out Summer and Silver, mocking the Triad's entrance. The Triple Threat race down to the ring and the match begins quickly.
The match was only a few minutes old when 'Cemetery Gates' hits and The Assassin walks out to huge cheers, carrying a chair and a bag of popcorn. The Triad turn around collectively, but Assassin simply sits down, with a can of Bud Ice and a bag of popcorn watching the match. Eventually, Summer joins the third Triple Threat member and they view on from the ramp. The Assassin provided a useful distraction for the Triple Threat who gained from the knowledge that Hawke was getting more and more paranoid of The Assassin's appearance at ringside. The Triad did eventually begin to get back into the match, but when they did, Assassin went out and got a picture of Falcon and Hawke making out, and when he held it up to the camera, Hawke and Falcon became so infuriated, Silver managed to hit the Quicksilver and score the victory! The Triple Threat ran up to the ramp to celebrate by having a can of Bud Ice each and Assassin shared around the pop corn. Assassin waved good-bye before walking backstage, with the Triad looking infuriated with what just happened.

-- xWa Xtreme Intentions Commercial --

Scott and Joey remind us that xWa Xtreme Intentions II takes place this Saturday from Earl's Court in London and we already know that the TWF World Championship will be defended in a Triple Threat Match to be contested between Frekishi, The Shott and Hawke. We also know that JT Money and The AshTaker and Terminator, the xWa Champions, will be defending their championships against opponents of XCW, WEW and XWF's choosing. XCW, WEW and XWF will announce their matches tomorrow on their programming.

In the ring, Mr. Smooth has the stage already set, and he says that Sit Down With a Superstar is on Grit BasH this week, but the star guests still come out in droves...tonight his guest does not get any bigger...he is the TWF World Champion - Frekishi!
'Fhat Man' hits and the crowd claps and applauds as Frekishi walks down to the ring dressed very casually. He slowly enters the ring and gets the microphone from the set, but elects to stand for the interview. Smooth asks him for his comments about the match made earlier for Xtreme Intentions on Sunday. Frekishi says that he's irritated that Hawke managed to find a way into the match once more, but he is looking forward to fighting The Shott as the two have rarely been opponents on PPV. Frekishi says that he expects to leave Xtreme Intentions the TWF World Champion and will be at Halloween Hell to defend his championship.
'Cowboys from Hell' hits and smoke engulfs the stage as The Shott walks out to a huge cheer. He slowly walks down wearing a crown and robe, with a road agent carrying a small table and head of security David Owen carrying the King of the Ring trophy. The Shott says that he is sorry to interrupt Smoothy, but he has to put Frekishi in his place. Frekishi and The Shott have not met very many times. But the last time they met was at TWF Deadly MindGames. The Shott rolls the footage of what happened at DMG, where he defeated Frekishi by disqualification. Shott then says that a lot had happened since then. The Shott has been and gone from the TWF. He became King of the Ring, hence why he is sporting a robe and crown tonight. Of course, he won the trophy, which has only been in the hands of 3 men. Frekishi had better prepare himself for a ride at Xtreme Intentions, or his dream won't happen. Correction...it won't happen anyway. Frekishi and Shott stare down with Smoothy reminding us of the match, before both men turn to leave. Shott leaves first, but Frekishi calls him back for a handshake. Shott obliges, but, goes for a ShottGun, but Frekishi ducks and Shott leaves the ring. Shott tried to get an early advantage going into Xtreme Intentions, but he has failed to do so!

-- TWF Halloween Hell Commercial --

The Shott has stayed at ringside and Ryan Jenkins has joined him and the King of the Ring Re-match has got underway. As the match progresses, we are shown comments from both Jenkins and Shott about their match at Eve of Destruction and about their opponent tonight. This match surprised most by surpassing expectations set. It delighted the crowd and the match itself was very technically sound. The Red Hoodie Crew again got involved, but this time, they aided Jenkins as he hit his Split-Legged Moonsault thanks to distractions from Stephen Dimmock and Atomically Kool Kat. Jenkins covered and got a 2-count, but again distractions played a role, with the Hoodie Crew trying their damnedest to cost Shott the match. This never happened. The Shott managed to eliminate the Hoodie Crew members on the outside with a great springboard plancha onto them all, before getting back into the ring and hitting Jenkins with a modified Taz-plex bridge pin. 1-2-3! Shott has won once more and poses rather cockily with his robe and crown before parading the King of the Ring trophy around as if it were the Stanley Cup. Frekishi appears on stage with the TWF World Championship and watches The Shott for a moment before walking back behind the curtain.

[TWF Returns!]

Scott and Joey welcome us back to another cold, wet night in South Wales for the first ever TWF TV show to take place in Newport, which is being brought to you by Honda, the Power of Dreams and by Vodafone...how are you?

'Around the World' hits and the TWF TV Champion, the Protégé leads down to the ring his buddies Blade, Steven Jenkins and J-Fox for this next bout...a lumberjack match. Each man looks particularly angry, and as 'The Four Horsemen' hits, you can tell there is some serious animosity between the two factions. The Jocks walk down with a smile and look ready to attack the opposition, when Mr. BIG walks down to the ring with a referee's shirt on over what he wore earlier and will definitely keep guard on what will happen here tonight.
This match was pure anarchy, but admittedly it could have been worse had Mr. BIG not been there to enforce the law. In the end, the match was declared a draw due to the fact that when both men were in the lumberjacks, they simply got lost. The fight carried over to the ring, where both sides brawled. Biggie stood back and watched from ringside, before taking his referee's shirt off and leaping into the ring and attacking the Jocks! Blonde Man got a BIG Storm. Brownie was given The Equaliser. Biggie grabbed Karl Davies and threw him into the turnbuckles! The crowd exploded! FIREBREATHER! Davies then fell perfectly for Biggie's trademark elbow. Jason Davies was all that was left. Davies attempted to shake Biggie's hand, but when he did, Biggie didn't let go. The Allied Powers took up all four corners of the ring. Davies was stuck. Biggie yanked Davies in like a fish on a rod and gave him a vicious Equaliser followed up by a BIG Storm! The crowd went bananas as Biggie cleared house and was left to share Cherry Cokes with the Allied Powers as Grit BasH came to a close.
