October 27th 2004
GCourt Arena, Brackla, BridgendWe are shown highlights from Friday's FURY, where Atomically Kool Kat exacted a measure of revenge on Holly in the main event. Also on Wednesday, Mastermind announced that he has signed a TWF contract and will face Ottobomb tonight in a non-title match.
'Heavy' plays and the fireworks go off to huge cheers from the crowd. The pyros go off as well and the signs are held up by just about all in attendance. Scott Hudson and Joey Styles are at ringside and straight off mention that Mastermind and Ottobomb are not here tonight due to other contractual obligations, but, their match will take place at FURY on Friday, but instead, we have a jam-packed show, including interviews with Frekishi and The Shott, who must team up to face S.I.N tonight, as well as Adam Taylor vs. Jason Davies, all tonight on Grit BasH, where we are under 4 days away from Halloween Hell!
BAM! 'Slow Chemical' by Finger Eleven hits to huge boos from the crowd as The Vamp walks down to the ring with his Hardkore Championship. We are then shown highlights of his match with Silver from FURY this week, but, The Vamp has now set his sights on old rival Blade.
'Around The World' hits and TWF TV Champion, The Protege walks down to the ring. We are shown pre-recorded comments from Protege who says that Vamp can do all he likes tonight, but he will be ready to face Jason Davies at Halloween Hell on Sunday, and Protege also has a good idea for the match.
This match opened the show nicely, getting the crowd into their seats and drawing up support for both men going into matches for their respective championships as Halloween Hell on Sunday. Protege, by no means an expert in the art of hardkore wrestling, put up a great fight against arguably the greatest hardkore wrestler of all time. But, with both men's opponents here already and in action later on, they had to stick their noses in. Jason Davies was the first, using a steel chair to nail Protege and enabling Vamp to get the win. Vamp stomped down on Protege, until Blade ran down to the ring and hit Davies with a magnificent DDT on the ringside floor. Blade then made the save for his Allied Powers buddy, hitting Vamp with the Blazer, leaving Scott and Joey to ponder if Blade could win back the Hardkore title at Halloween Hell. Blade grabs the TV Title and hands it to Protege, before staring down Vamp as he leaves ringside.
Backstage; Frekishi is seen just arriving at the arena, ready for an interview and tag-team match, both occurring later on this evening.
--- XCW Halloween Hell 3 Highlights ---
[BG Music:
'Drift and Die' - Puddle of Mudd]
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles congratulate XCW on their 3rd Halloween Hell event and a fantastic PPV. They are about to continue when the lights suddenly go out and the lights go red and green. The crowd goes bananas as the screen turns red and green. "ZZZZ-PACK 4 LIFE!". 'The Extremist' by Joe Satriani hits as Mr. BIG and NJS, the TWF Tag-Team Champions, walk down to the ring with smiles on their faces.
Biggie does his usual entrance of slapping the hands of the fans, whilst NJS does his usual entrance of posing on the turnbuckles. Biggie rolls into the ring and grabs a microphone, but before he can begin, a loud and clear chant of "Z-PACK!" rings around the arena. Biggie begins by saying his trademark "Finally...The BIG Storm, has come back......home". The crowd erupts as Biggie continues. Biggie reminds us that around 5 years ago, in this very arena, the TWF held it's first ever Pay-Per-View. It was here that Mr. BIG defeated Blonde Man...and NJS defeated Marz for the very first time. The crowd cheers once more and another chant of "Z-Pack" starts up. Biggie says that 5 years ago, the heights the TWF currently scales would be all but a dream. But, the TWF has gone through hell, a few ratings wars and NCW to stand where it is today. Despite all the sceptics, some of whom are in the locker room, the TWF stands proud. What effect does that have on today? Well, on Sunday, the Z-Pack managed to defeat in singles competition, their opponents on Sunday. But, they know that come Halloween Hell, it will all be a different kettle of fish. Why? Because the Rage in the Double Cage is the most unorthodox match in wrestling. And only one man has had the experience of winning it...N-J-S.
Biggie hands over the microphone to his buddies, which is met by rapturous applause. NJS says that although the only Rage in the Double Cage match took place 5 years ago, it remains in the memory of all those who watched it that night, as the most brutal and barbaric wrestling match in the history of any xWa promotion. Not WarGames, not tlC, not HIAC, not even Cage3, but Rage in the Double Cage. And the reason it's coming back is simple. A regular match cannot contain the hatred the Z-Pack and SIN have for each other. They have known each other for years. They know their every move, their every counter...everything. They have proven to be the best in the world. They are both champions...TWF and xWa. But there is only one way to settle who is the very best, in the cage. NJS then says that they have an advantage going into Sunday, and they won't lose it. It's time for SIN to Fear...Our...FURY!
The crowd cheers loudly as 'The Extremist' hits once more and both men walk backstage behind the curtain.

[TWF Returns!]
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles welcome us back to TWF Grit BasH, from a very wet and windy GCourt Arena, where our main event will see The Z-Pack face old rivals AJ Jeffers and Marz. Grit BasH is brought to you tonight by Chevrolet...reminding us to tell you that Chevrolet hits the UK on January 1st 2005, superseding Daewoo, and by Apple Computers.
The bell tolls to a massive cheer as the lights go out. The loud revving noise of the Harley-Davidson echoes through out the stage as Deadman appears on his motorcycle, with his girlfriend Ms. Sweet riding with him. We are shown highlights from Deadman's match at xWa Xtreme Intentions against Karl Davies and we are told that they will face each other at Halloween Hell in a straight up match.
'Killers' by Iron Maiden hits and the crowd cheers as J-Fox walks out looking bruised from his match at Halloween Chaos this weekend. We are shown pre-recorded comments from Fox, who tells us his brother is a marked man and he will do anything to get his revenge.
Team EV's old music plays and the crowd boos as they walk out in athletic uniforms, looking much like the Steiner Brothers when they burst onto the scene in the early 90s. Blonde Man and Brownie are without Holly tonight, but we see that she is cheering on her clients backstage in the Jocks locker room.
The two teams had an excellent match. Deadman and Team EV, all TWF veterans, are around the same age, and despite contrasting styles, their speed was there for all to see. This was a PPV-calibre match, and it came as a shock to the capacity crowd that this was the 2nd match on a TV show! Holly remained backstage, but Ms. Sweet gave her man Deadman a helping hand, using her appeal to distract Team EV. That would play a part in the decision, as Sweet slapped Blonde Man whilst he was in between the middle and bottom rope, which set Brownie on her. Brownie chased her around ringside and into the ring, where he was met by J-Fox, who hit a hefty looking running powerslam as Deadman took care of Blonde Man to get the pinfall victory.
'Killers' hit and the crowd cheered as Holly looked extremely angry backstage, and appeared to take out her frustrations on Jason Davies, but he simply looked on, ready for his match next. In the arena, Deadman and Ms. Sweet celebrated the victory with a kiss, while J-Fox encouraged Team EV to return as they exited up the ramp and backstage, out of harms way.
Backstage; The Shott is standing by with Mr. Smooth. The Shott is asked about his thoughts going into Halloween Hell. Shott says that he has told everyone before how he feels. He feels delighted that he finally gets the chance to win back his title. He left the TWF to start a family when he was at the top, and he has come back to get his title back. Smooth questions The Shott, saying surely if he was that good a champion, he could have let starting a family wait. Shott looks angry at Smoothy, but asks him if he has a family. Smoothy says he has a girlfriend, but no firm plans yet. Shott says that Smoothy has no idea what it's like to have your life mapped out in front of you. The Shott is living the life he has always wanted and then some. He has fast cars, fast women and fast...everything else. The only thing left to get on his resume is to become the second ever 4-time TWF World Champion...and who else can say that besides Biggie? No one. Not Marz, not Frekishi, not even N-J-S. He's out to prove that #1 is always the best one. The Shott walks off, leaving the crowd hyped for the tag-team match later on tonight.
Scott Hudson wishes to congratulate XCW on a stellar Halloween Chaos this past Sunday and wishes XCW every success as they embark on their 3rd year in the business. Joey says that XCW still has a long way to go to be around as long as the TWF, but, they deserve the praise they are getting. Joey then reminds us that Halloween Hell is this Sunday from the Brackla Community Centre, and it is worth reminding what happened in that very venue 2 years ago. A 'Brackla Blockbuster' is shown and it is of the highlights of the Hell in a Cell match between Mr. BIG and The AshTaker at Against All Odds 2002. We return from this to the arena and our next match.
'Symphony of Destruction' hit and the crowd cheered as Adam Taylor made his way down to the ring. We are reminded that there is still a lot of hatred between Adam Taylor and Jason Davies from when Jason left the Red Hoodie Crew earlier this year.
'The Four Horsemen' hits as Jason Davies walks down to the ring with Holly. Jason looks not to be taking "No" from an answer from Holly, and he storms down to the ring to begin this match.
These two had a match filled with hatred and greed. Davies really wanted to hammer home the point he made when he left the Hoodie Crew that he was too good for them. He seemed not to show it though, because Taylor really did take it to him, giving all that he had in a superb contest. Holly was proving a useful distraction at ringside, until suddenly Stephen Dimmock ran in from the crowd! He attacked Holly and entered the ring and DDTed Taylor! The crowd booed in shock, but Davies looked to celebrate when he is given a DDT as well! Dimmock leaves the ring and we have a double-CO match! Both men have been counted out after Dimmock's DDTs!
Backstage; Frekishi is walking toward the ring for the tag-team match, up next, when he is stopped by Mr. Smooth, who is interested to hear what Frekishi has to say after The Shott's comments earlier. Frekishi says that The Shott can say what he wants, but he wanted to leave the TWF so he could start a family, and Frekishi is not grateful for it. Why? Because Frekishi was going to win the World Championship sooner or later. No bogus "win by default" decisions. A WIN. The Shott may prove to be an opponent on Sunday, but tonight they must be allied against SIN, or they won't make Sunday to determine who is better! Frekishi walks off, having answered all of Smoothy's questions. Suddenly, as Smoothy walks back toward the locker room, he encounters SIN, who say that tonight, what they do not achieve in their match tonight, they will carry over to Sunday, and a merciless beating of the Z-Pack. The crowd boos furious as we cut back to the arena.
Smoke fills up the stage as the electric riffs of 'Cowboys from Hell' by Pantera rip up the PA as The Shott walks out to huge cheers from the crowd. He slides into the ring and poses, before taunting the crowd and awaiting the arrival of his partner.
"I'm a Fhat Man...hahahaha!"...the crowd gives a mixed, but mainly positive reaction, to Frekishi, as he stands on stage with the TWF World Championship on his shoulder. He enters the ring and converses with The Shott for a moment before handing his belt to referee Sophie Matravers.
The arena darkens and the crowd boos as the Graveyard Symphony begins to echo through out the arena. The S.I.N logo appears on screen and sets the edge of the TotalTron alight for a few moments, before SIN appear on stage with the xWa Tag-Team Championships wrapped around their waists. AshTaker and Terminator slowly walk down to the ring and begin the match.
Shott and Frekishi worked very well as a team and when one man was not in, they appeared to be checking for weaknesses, heading into their match at Halloween Hell. SIN, however, were just in a warm up for the brutal spectacle of Rage in the Double Cage, but they had to get dirty on this occasion as well, with Terminator using the xWa Tag-Team Championships to clock Shott, enabling AshTaker to get a victory.
As SIN left the ring, Frekishi and Shott got in each other's faces as to who's fault was the loss, and to the delight of the crowd, the two men threw punches, before The Shott hit Frekishi with a huge Superkick and posed with the World Championship, with SIN looking on with smiles on their faces on the top of the ramp.

[TWF Returns!]
Scott Hudson and Joey Styles welcome us back to Grit BasH, where 'Natural Born Killaz' has already begun to play as AJ Jeffers and Marz walk down to the ring with Hawke and Falcon by their side. They all pose, but get the full force of the crowd's boos as they get ready for their opponents.
"3-2-1...N-J-S"......BAM! 'Away From Me' by Puddle of Mudd hits, and the crowd cheers as NJS appears with the TWF Tag-Team Championship around his waist in the middle of the stage. He walks slowly down to the ring taunting the crowd before standing in the aisle pointing toward the stage. The crowd stays on their feet, ready for his partner's arrival.
"Just Think About It"! The crowd explodes...the greatest hiTz montage goes by...BANG! "Where's Your Crown...KING NOTHING?". 'King Nothing' echoes over the PA to the delight of the crowd as Mr. BIG walks down to the ring with the Tag-Title on his shoulder. He and NJS wait for a few moments before storming the ring and beginning the match.
Now this was a match-up that should headline PPVs. With all the history between each other...Biggie and AJ in the TWF's early days...NJS and Marz...Biggie and Marz...and AJ and NJS...the match really was quite a spectacle. Hawke and Falcon did more than look on, as they announced the match with Scott and Joey, with Hawke trying desperately to avoid the obvious question as to why he is not active on the roster. The match itself was fast-paced and neither team really got a clear advantage, but, towards the end, AJ and Marz faltered, and that enabled Biggie to set NJS up for WHAZZZ UP?! which sent the crowd into a frenzy, followed by a Lionsault for the victory.
As 'The Extremist' hit to celebrate the victory, Hawke leaped into the ring and the numbers game played a role, as Mr. BIG and NJS were beaten down by the Triad, until The Assassin came down to the ring and evened the score. The Z-Pack team drove the Triad from the ring and shared ice cold beverages, namely Cherry Coke and Pepsi Max as the show came to a close.
