TOGETHER WE MADE IT Reported by: TWF Web Staff on December 19, 2010

Heavy snowfall didn't stop the drama at PayBack as the TWF saw some controversy and serious changes that will effect the company into 2011. The biggest change of which is likely to be the definitive result of the TWF World Championship match, owing to the controversial ending of the match. An extraordinary general meeting of the TWF Board of Directors has been called for Tuesday and a decision will be announced on Wednesday at the Best of 2010 awards. The TWF, in the mean time, thanks the fans for their continued support in 2010 and hopes that it continues into 2011, with some great events and tours up coming.

KINGS AND CROWNS Reported by: TWF Web Staff on November 21, 2010

Dangerously Serious was an epic night that no TWF fan will ever forget. The TWF wants to thank all those who attended the event and those who watched on pay-per-view as the show is already proving to be a terrific success! A new King of the Ring was decided, with his coronation due this Wednesday on Grit BasH, as is tradition. Blade and Mr. BIG had an unforgettable contest that saw both men roll back the years and the case for Mr. BIG being one of the very best wrestlers of all-time is being made even stronger. And, the biggest surprise was who was appointed by the TWF Board as Special Guest Referee for the World Championship match. Alexis Polaris is due back this Friday on Fury and how will she react to the news that's developed in her absence. There's still one more show to go in 2010 and it's going to be a brutal one with the Devil's Den match already confirmed to be a part of PayBack. Find out over the coming weeks the teams taking part by tuning into TWF television.

HOUSE OF HORRORS Reported by: TWF Web Staff on October 31, 2010

Tables, Ladders, Cell is a legend of it's own because of it's refusal to take any prisoners. The two teams in the match tonight certainly gave their all in a bloodied and brutal match, but the most surprising development in the match was the injury to Alexis Polaris, who has been ruled out of her Commissionership duties for at least a month, meaning the TWF hierarchy is in limbo. We understand that a statement by the TWF Board is being prepared for release prior to Grit BasH that will let fans and talent know the details. This does not take away from another classic night of TWF action, where new champions were crowned.

STILL ON TOP Reported by: TWF Web Staff on September 19, 2010

The House of Pain is one of the TWF's most unpredictable matches but when one veteran decides enough is enough, there isn't a lot you can do about it. NJS unleashed one of the most dominating performances of his career in the Spanish capital although some House of Pain rookies gave their all in a great match. The Entourage's pursuit of Mr. BIG continued but yet another classic performance from Biggie prevented Nytro from dominating the People's Choice. Plenty of other great matches took place on Sunday night and encores are forthcoming all week.

BETRAYAL AVENGED Reported by: TWF Web Staff on August 22, 2010

The TWF now heads onto continental Europe for the first time in almost a decade with the next pay-per-view, Doomsday, taking place in Madrid on September 16. TORMENTED Reported by: TWF Web Staff on July 25, 2010

The road to Summer Break certainly continued at Total Chaos, with some splendid action and the shape of the Summer Break card being formed. A new #1 Contender for the TWF World Championship was found, and two championships changed hands. There was also a shocking conclusion to one of the biggest matches on the under-card that defied explanation, which means only one thing - an explanation will be given this Wednesday on Grit BasH! Be sure to check out your local media listings for appearances by TWF Superstars in the coming weeks as we roll onto the Biggest Event of the Summer, the Loudest Show on Earth - Summer Break XI!

TURN SO COLD Reported by: TWF Web Staff on June 13, 2010

The pay-per-view was called Against All Odds for a good reason. The Pyramid Cage match for the TWF World Championship was an intense and bloody war, with one man standing tallest at the end. But, NJS, who had won the Gold Card earlier in the evening appeared to exchange the opportunity for a match, and he left the Bethlehem Life Centre as the new TWF World Champion. Plenty of other big talking points emerged from Sunday's event including two spectacular tag team performances, a former TWF Tag Team Champion being forced to leave the company and much more! The TWF is now firmly on the road to Summer Break, with a significant stop at Margam Park on June 30, the first TWF event in the historic grounds - be sure to grab tickets for what is promising to be an amazing night.

MAKING THE IMPACT Reported by: TWF Web Staff on May 16, 2010

A surprise returnee to the company also showed up, as well as some great matches for the Intercontinental and World Championships. Encores are ongoing and are worth checking out to relive some great matches. The TWF now heads towards Against All Odds with significant news of NJS's return to action in the Gold Card Tournament in the next few weeks. Check the TWF Web in the coming days for the full tournament bracket.

LIVE EVENTS UPDATE Reported by: TWF Web Staff on April 17, 2010

Due to the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland, a no-fly zone is in place over much of the United Kingdom. As a result, this will prevent the TWF from returning as scheduled from it's North American tour. As a result, the company would like to announce that the upcoming dates in the Cardiff Arena and Cardiff International Arena will be rescheduled for immediately after Summer Break XI and all originally purchased tickets will be valid. However, fans in Tennessee are in for a rare treat as the TWF has scheduled two TV dates on very short notice. Grit BasH will air live from the FedEx Forum this Wednesday and the Pyramid will re-open for possibly the final time to host Fury. Visit TWFTickets.com for information on both shows. The episode of Fury was due to be a 3 hour show, but this will also be re-arranged for late-May. The TWF apologises profusely to all the fans who will be disappointed by the change of events, but they are unavoidable.

FEELING THE HEAT Reported by: TWF Web Staff on April 4, 2010

New Orleans bore witness to Easter HeAT on Sunday night and it was another tremendous success with over 73,000 fans setting a new attendance record for the venue. Many tremendous matches took place, including a classic encounter between old enemies Frekishi and Mr. BIG. Encores continue all week. The TWF still has tickets remaining for the few dates left on the TWF's tour of United States. The TWF returns home in a few weeks and the first few tickets for shows in Cardiff go on sale this week. Check TWFTickets.com and the tour dates page for all the latest information!

DEFYING GRAVITY Reported by: TWF Web Staff on March 14, 2010

No Way BacK can be best summed up as a night of high emotion. With TWF fan's worst fears being proven true, Lucy Rose and NJS were wed in an extravagant ceremony. But before they left for their honeymoon, the ceremony was gate-crashed by a surprise returnee to the TWF, who did their best to send a message to the Entourage about their antics. However, this was put aside for when Marz achieved his goal of becoming TWF World Champion once more, collapsing at the end of the bout in tears, dedicating his victory as promised, to his late grandfather. Another surprise was who showed up to make sure Marz's goal was realised. Encores have already started airing, so check with your TWF viewing provider to order.

CONTROVERSY REIGNS SUPREME Reported by: TWF Web Staff on February 21, 2010

The Bandit made his officiating power felt in the main event at Deadly MindGames. The Chicago-native has no doubt created controversy with his counting of the winning pinfall and has turned his long-time fans against him. Marz and Mr. BIG are on top of the world however, coming out on top in the greatest tag team match ever broadcast and is a sure-fire Match of the Year candidate. Deadly MindGames encores continue over the coming days where the other shocking events just keep on coming. The TWF now heads to Washington, D.C. for the wedding we've been waiting for, as well as Marz's chance at immortality.

STOP THE CLOCKS Reported by: TWF Web Staff on January 17, 2010

The TWF was Unleashed onto pay-per-view in 2010 with a dramatic night in Liverpool. Blade and Nytro contested a great Ambulance match for the TWF World Championship, two former World Champions on different sides of the Atlantic contested the first Match of the Year candidate and there was an emotional return to the TWF for Marz, who returned to win the Time Crisis match and collapsed in tears at the end of the contest, dedicating the victory to his late grandfather. Many issues were not resolved however and the duo of Disturbed and Zero remain holders of their respective singles titles for a start. There was also the small matter of a marriage proposal by NJS to Lucy Rose, which she accepted, drawing the ire of the TWF's passionate fans. 2010 looks to be an exciting time for TWF fans so be sure to stick around as we head towards the TWF's triumphant return to Chicago in a few weeks.

TO THE DEVIL, HIS DUE Reported by: TWF Web Staff on December 20, 2009

The Devil's Den returned at PayBack last night and shortened the careers of those involved, but ultimately it was Mr. BIG who survived the match, after a horrendous chair shot delivered by Aaron Hill to Marz concussed the former TWF World Champion, leaving his career in serious doubt. Also at PayBacK, new champions were crowned, new #1 contenders were determined as the TWF pulled out all the stops to celebrate the end of another glorious year, including an entrance that has to be seen to be believed. The TWF is now on it's annual Christmas break until January 06, 2010, where the TWF kicks off a new series of live programming at the Manchester Evening News Arena. Between now and then, be sure to check out the annual Best of Year Awards show on December 23, a special Greatest Ever TWF Countdown on Christmas Day hosted by Marz and Mr. BIG and the following week will see the two Best of 2009 specials. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
