R.I.P. Daffney (Shannon Spruill)
Reported by: TWF Web Staff on 2021‐09‐02

The TWF joins the wrestling world in mourning the passing of Shannon Spruill. "The Scream Queen" was best known as Daffney Unger, a name under which she wrestled all over the world. Whilst best known for her runs in WCW and TNA, Daffney made a memorable appearance at TWF The End is Nigh in October 2002, participating in the very first Four Way Steel Cage match for the TWF Women's World Championship. Her unique look was partnered with a love and devotion to professional wrestling that few could match, and Shannon was beloved in every locker room that she set foot in. Our thoughts are with her family, her friends, and her fans.

R.I.P. "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton
Reported by: TWF Web Staff on 2021‐08‐05

The Total Wrestling Federation would like to pass on their condolences to the family and friends of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, who sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 62.
Eaton made his debut in May 1976 at the age of 17, and would later gain notoriety in the legendary Memphis territory in the early 1980s. In 1983, Eaton joined Mid South Wrestling, where he joined "Lover Boy" Dennis Condrey, and Jim Cornette, to become the Midnight Express. Widely regarded as one of the greatest tag teams of all‐time, their feud with the Rock 'n' Roll Express drew sell‐out crowds across the United States.
Eaton was a tag team specialist, and his notable partners included "Sweet" Stan Lane in another incarnation of the Midnight Express; as well as Arn Anderson and William (Steve) Regal. Eaton's greatest legacy is as one of the nicest people in professional wrestling, despite wrestling as a villain for the majority of his career. Bobby's body of work will continue to stand the test of time, and he will remain a great influence on professional wrestlers of the future.

Touring Calendar Update
Reported by: TWF Web Staff on 2021‐08‐03

The TWF touring calendar has been updated through 2021‐09‐19, and the PayBack special event, which will take place in Liverpool. The TWF remains committed to the safety of everyone involved in a live event, and continues to work with local authorities on the restrictions that allow events to take place. At the moment, it seems unlikely that the TWF will leave the United Kingdom during 2021, but, should circumstances change, check the TWF's social media account for further updates.

R.I.P. New Jack (Jerome Young)
Reported by: TWF Web Staff on 2021‐05‐15

The TWF was saddened to learn of the passing of New Jack on 2021‐05‐14, at the age of 58.
New Jack rose to prominence as one half of The Gangstas with Mustafa Saed, making their name in Smokey Mountain Wrestling, before his most iconic period in ECW, where his hardcore attitude made him a perfect fit for the promotion. After ECW's demise, his most notable work would come in TNA, XPW, and CZW. New Jack made an important contribution to the TWF, making an appearance on one of the most important broadcasts in company history: the 2002‐09‐16 episode of Grit BasH, where along with The Sandman, they laid down the gauntlet to TECW. An appearance by New Jack would guarantee chaos and controversy, and his signature staple gun would not be too far away. The TWF extends its condolences to his family and friends.
