Wednesday Grit BasH
Madness Reigns The events of Sunday's Take No Prisoners cannot be understated. It has proven to be the most controversial PPV in the TWF's history, and that's no hyperbole! Stephen Jenkins set the ball rolling, announcing after defeating Ron Lindberg that he would join The Individuals and beat down on a stricken Lindberg until he was forced backstage by referees and road agents. In one what must be one of the worst acts ever seen in a professional wrestling ring, Tom Williams and Holly screwed Hades out of his TWF Television Championship, with Holly blocking referee Leandro Pires's view of proceedings in a match where the title could change hands on a disqualification. This was not the end of the controversy however, as during the main event between Mastermind and The Assassin, TWF Commissioner Paul Heyman made his way down to the ring. Suddenly, the two men stopped fighting, shook hands and Mastermind laid down for The Assassin and referee Peter Cavalli counted the pinfall and The Assassin became TWF World Champion! Heyman had reformed his Dangerous Alliance stable with the two men! Heyman made a speech about the backstage politicking and about "real wrestling" before announcing he was going to put fear back into the TWF. Whilst there was nothing wrong with the decision in the main event, the manner in which it was achieved has managed to collectively piss the whole TWF off. TWF Managing Director and CEO Mr. BIG, to add to matters, will be away on business on Wednesday, leaving Heyman to rule the roost. However, we understand that Mr. BIG has requested that every single member of the TWF's roster be at ringside for the opening of Grit BasH where he will address the situation. On Tuesday's Hot Shot Podcast, Bryan Daniels exclusively revealed that Biggie will drop a bombshell that will shake the TWF to it's very foundations! A new era could dawn on Wednesday, so be sure to tune in! Grit BasH kicks off at it's new start time of 7:55pm, but will still air on Sky Three, and is now broad casted on Sky One HD as well. Home Sweet Home There are very few dates that get TWF fans more excited on the TWF tour calendar than when the TWF comes back to one of it's old haunts, the legendary Brackla Community Centre, where so much of TWF history has taken place, and the home venue for many TWF superstars, including Brackla's most famous son ‐ Mr. BIG. Biggie may have moved from Brackla, but he has always insisted that it is his "home", and you can bet your bottom dollar he will get an overwhelming reaction from his hometown fans when he walks out to the ring this Wednesday. Biggie is definitely on a mission at the moment and has issued a challenge to Matthew Wright to meet him in a match this Wednesday. As we discovered on Tuesday's Hot Shot Podcast, Wright is not a big fan of the CEO and Biggie has called out Wright to silence another of his critics. Speaking of silencing critics, Paul Heyman announced last Friday on Fury that he was finally going to make an executive decision everybody liked ‐ Mastermind would face The Assassin at Take No Prisoners for the TWF World Championship. With both men still reeling after hard matches at Summer Break, how will they react to Heyman's announcement? Also on Wednesday night, Lover Boy Jon Bennetta will make a scheduled Intercontinental Championship defence against one-half of the TWF Tag Team Champions, Zero. Deadman is scheduled to take on Jason Davies in what will be a highly-contested match-up between two former IC Champions. Stephen Jenkins will continue to tell us how he will spend the one million dollars he won at Summer Break VIII, and we will hear from Tom Williams about Hades, the man who he has tormented in recent weeks. Remember that Grit BasH has a new start time of 7:55pm, but will still air on Sky Three, and is now broadcasted on Sky One HD as well. You can't afford to miss it! It was one for the ages. Summer Break VIII more than lived up to the hype on Sunday evening with many shocks and surprises, as well as some of the best wrestling in the TWF's history. Luckily, if you missed it, encores are continuing all week on Sky Box Office. However, now that Summer Break VIII is consigned to history, the dust will begin to settle starting tonight on Grit BasH. Despite giving his all in what has already been called "The Match of the Decade" by many independent wrestling journalists, The Assassin walked away in defeat in his match against Mr. BIG. What will the Modern Day Messiah have to say about his efforts on Sunday, and where his road now leads as he resumes his quest to become TWF World Champion? The Champ, Mastermind, did not exactly have an easy night himself, being pushed to the very limit by Frekishi, but he still walked away the TWF World Champion. Could one of the biggest matches in history, Mastermind vs. The Assassin be just around the corner? The Jocks had a mixed night at Summer Break. With Holly aiding Atomically Kool Kat to victory over Chamera, she gained a matter of revenge over one of her longest established enemies, but Marz quickly one-upped the team with the introduction of The Sandman. But, the biggest news of all was that Louise joined the side of "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta on Sunday and helped him become TWF Intercontinental Champion. What will Holly have to say about this? We understand that The Changing Room will be open for a part of this Wednesday's show. In another dramatic incident, we saw the break-up of the Joey Davies/Matthew Wright tandem at Summer Break, with Wright clearly upset at Davies's part in the loss. However, there seems to be more to the story than that. On Wednesday, we will hear from Wright about Davies and what he has planned. Stephen Jenkins is also $1,000,000 richer thanks to his victory on Sunday in the Ladder Match. What will the Hardkore Champion plan to do with his winnings? The answers to all these questions, among others, will be revealed on Wednesday as the TWF returns back to the Mecca of Welsh Wrestling, the TWF Arena for the first of two shows there this week. Grit BasH airs live this Wednesday at it's new start time of 7:55pm on Sky Three. Sky Three can be accessed on Channel 108 on your Sky Digibox, and is available to Sky viewers even without a subscription. As of tonight, Grit BasH will be broadcasted weekly in high-definition on Sky One HD at Sky Channel 175. Sky One HD is available to all Sky customers who possess a HDTV and SkyHD digibox. Of course, Sky Three is also available on Freeview at Channel 11 on receivers. Target: Summer Break Now that Total Chaos is in the books, the TWF is heading straight for the biggest showcase of the year, Summer Break. Total Chaos was an event with many surprises and much controversy, as usual, and we now have 6 weeks left until the next pay‐per‐view. The paths each superstar has made this year will now lead to the ultimate palace and the biggest show of them all at The Bridgend Dome on August 19. Mastermind managed to amazingly walk away with his TWF World Championship still around his waist after an astonishing Four Way Dance on Sunday, which saw him pin Blade in the closing moments of the match to win the contest and leave the Brynteg Arena still Champion. Will the Champ still be confident about his chances surrounding Summer Break? We understand that Paul Heyman is set to announce a way of determining Mastermind's opponent at Summer Break this Wednesday night! Former BCW alumnus The Assassin managed to anger many of the legends assembled in the Brynteg Arena as a final farewell to the building, as the TWF will not hold any more events there in the future. Assassin set off on a hate-filled rant about the promotion where he made his first steps towards stardom, and then angered the legends even more when he defeated one of their own, Frekishi, later in the evening. We understand one TWF legend who was watching has a bone to pick with The Assassin and will confront him during Wednesday's show! There will however be a long list of people in a damn fine mood after Sunday's events too. "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta must be elated to finally get a shot at the TWF Intercontinental Champion, Jock's Kingpin, Jason Davies at Summer Break. With the announcement made on Sunday that Alice Cooper will be in his corner, will Bennetta seek to further stack the odds in his favour for the huge match? Also, The Fox brothers managed to cost each other their championship matches against Hades and "The Sensational" Eric Herrera last Sunday, so, what will happen regarding their actions? We will also hear from the survivors of the brutal 6th Square Ladder Match, and from Women's Champion Michelle, who's boyfriend Marz aided Echo to an impressive victory over Jason Davies and Holly at Total Chaos. The last ever show from Brynteg Stadium will air live on Wednesday at 8pm on Sky Three. Sky Three is a free-to-watch channel available to Sky viewers, even without a subscription, on Channel 108 on their Sky Digibox. Freeview viewers can watch the show on Channel 11 on their receiver. The TWF's summer season of outdoor shows appears to have fallen victim to the weather once more, as it has been announced that the scheduled Lock's Lane program this Wednesday will now take place in the drier surroundings of the Somerfield Arena a short drive away. However, despite the changes to the TV schedule, Total Chaos is heading to pay‐per‐view this Sunday and as we head into Sunday's huge show, the last stop before the big one, Summer Break VIII, superstars will be looking for an advantage. There is no clearer example of this than in the TWF World Championship picture. This Sunday, Champion Mastermind defends against Blade, Matthew Jones and Tom Williams in a Fatal Four Way match, and the champ has suffered various beatings lately from a seemingly united opposition. But the dissension in the opposition camp came to ahead last Friday on Fury. However, Mastermind has requested a Tag Team contest this Wednesday. He will team up with Mr. BIG to face Matthew Jones and Tom Williams, but, Blade has been appointed Special Guest Referee by TWF Commissioner Paul Heyman! The TWF's top tag teams are also preparing for a huge annual event this Sunday: the return of the Square Ladder Match. A part of TWF folklore, all four teams are anxious to get to Sunday in one piece. However, this Wednesday, one partner from each team will face each other in an Elimination Tables Match! These partners have not been announced, but whoever does not take part on Wednesday will face others on Friday at Fury in another amazing Elimination match. Also on Wednesday, "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta will face TWF Hardkore Champion "The Sensational" Eric Herrera, whilst "The MasterStroke" Aaron Hill will face The Fox in another one-on-one contest. We also expect to hear comments from Michelle and Hades regarding their matches this Sunday. It's gonna be one hell of a ride into this Sunday, so be sure to tune into Grit BasH! Grit BasH airs live this Wednesday at 8pm on Sky Three. Sky Three is a free-to-watch channel available to Sky viewers, even without a subscription, on Channel 108 on their Sky Digibox. Freeview viewers can watch the show on Channel 11 on their receiver. The TWF was originally due to be at Newbridge Fields, Bridgend, for the first outdoor show of the year this Wednesday, but the spate of bad weather means that the event has been moved in doors. This is not the only change for Grit BasH this week. Originally, the show was to be a one-off tribute to the late Chris Benoit. This decision was taken before the facts of the case became clear and the fact that it appears that Chris Benoit murdered his wife and seven-year-old son in a pre-meditated attack at their home. These senseless actions are not supported by anyone, and we all feel ashamed at Benoit's actions. Therefore, as a statement to the company's great fans, who have been through enough in the last two years with the constant stop-start motion of the TWF, TWF Managing Director and CEO, Mr. BIG and TWF Commissioner Paul Heyman have announced that they will open the program with an in-ring address to the fans about the events and how the TWF is preventing this from happening here. Besides that, it will be business as usual for the TWF and you can be sure there will be plenty of surprises and matches, with Total Chaos live on Pay-Per-View just two weeks away at the last show at the famous Brynteg Arena. Grit BasH will air live this Wednesday night at 8pm on Sky Three. Sky Three can be accessed on Freeview at Channel 11 and is available to Sky viewers even without a subscription on Channel 108 on their Digibox. The TWF makes it's first appearance at The Pines Centre in 2007 this Wednesday, and Grit BasH is likely to set out further questions about Total Chaos, which is now almost 2 weeks away on pay‐per‐view. Blade has managed to upset pretty much the whole locker room by announcing on Fury last Friday that he has been offered the chance to face Mastermind at Total Chaos to make it a Four Way Dance against the TWF World Champion. Mr. BIG, who was absent last week on business, heard about this and has ordered Blade to defend his potential Championship spot on Wednesday in his own Fatal Four Way match against Deadman, Josh Jericho and Joey Davies. The winner will join Matthew Jones and Tom Williams in facing the TWF World Champion at Total Chaos. Since his return to the TWF in May, The Assassin has put aside his quest to be TWF World Champion once more in favour settling some old scores. Assassin was victorious in the HIAC match at Against All Odds two weeks ago, but who has he set his sights on revenge for first? The Assassin has requested interview time this Wednesday to explain his target and his reasoning behind it! Commissioner Paul Heyman has also announced that he will be present this Wednesday and is unlikely to be in a good mood after the 6-man tag team match he booked last week disintegrated. Heyman has vowed revenge and he has already announced that rivals "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta and Josh Jericho must team up to face "The Sensational" Eric Herrera and The Fox, rivals themselves! Heyman has also announced that Ron Lindberg will face Dougie Christian in the opening contest of the evening's show. We also expect to hear from Echo about the challenge laid down to her by Holly last week on Fury about a mixed-tag match at Total Chaos, and from Hades and Owen Carl, who are likely to discuss the actions of one J-Fox, who angered the long-standing Television Champion last week, spilling a cup of tea all over the champion's title belt. It's all what it's in store this Wednesday when Grit BasH airs live at 8pm on Sky Three. Sky Three can be accessed on Freeview at Channel 11 and is available to Sky viewers even without a subscription on Channel 108 on their Digibox. For one night only this week, Grit BasH will be simulcasted on Sky One HD on Channel 175 and is available to all those who possess a Sky HD subscription. Against All Odds proved to be a prophetic name for last Sunday's Total Wrestling Federation pay‐per‐view. Frekishi, Mastermind and Mr. BIG were hot favourites leading into their Hell in a Cell match, but ended up the losing side after Matthew Jones hit the TWF World Champion with what will surely become a famous Fisherman's DDT to win the match for his team. Jones has petitioned Commissioner Paul Heyman to make him the #1 Contender for the TWF World Championship. Tom Williams will surely have a similar claim, so Heyman will invite both down to the ring to figure out the situation at some point on Wednesday's broadcast! The God of War, Marz, made an unexpected return to the TWF on Sunday and accepted the challenge of Blonde Man, who has played mind game with the former TWF World Champion since the company returned. Marz will address the fans in an interview this Wednesday to settle the score over his long disappearance and surely to also accompany his girlfriend and manager, TWF Women's Champion, Michelle, to the ring in her non-title match for against Libra. We also expect to hear from Technically Superior, the TWF Tag Team Champions, on the controversy that surrounds Zero's victory against Big Martin in the Hardcore Wall match last Sunday. "The Sensational" Eric Herrera will also be in buoyant mood after he successfully kept his $100,000 Challenge in the 6-man tag team contest at Against All Odds. "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta will not be in such a happy mood, after Louise's interference in his match cost him the chances to gain her services. Josh Jericho will face Matthew Wright in the opening exchanges of Wednesday's show, and we anticipate that Lover Boy will be watching on intently! Grit BasH airs live, as always, at 8pm on Sky Three this Wednesday. Sky Three can be accessed on Freeview at Channel 11 and is available to Sky viewers even without a subscription on Channel 108 on their Digibox. A New Beginning After a momentous pay‐per‐view offering in Last Man Standing last Sunday, the TWF again shook the world with a series of surprises. On Wednesday night, the face of the TWF changes as the federation makes it's debut on Freeview, on the Sky Three channel. Wednesday promises to be full of just as many shocks as at Last Man Standing. Undoubtedly, the biggest news from Sunday's event was the return of the Modern Day Messiah, The Assassin, who has promised to become the "Judge, Jury and Executioner" of the TWF. After being missing from the company since his loss to AJ Jeffers at Summer Break VI, the Miami Madman has promised that no-one is safe now he has returned. The Assassin has informed sources that he wants to address an issue from Last Man Standing on Wednesday, and he is sure to say a few things! The Assassin's teacher, Mr. BIG, had a surprise of his own on Sunday. Countering the presence of Wales rugby international Gavin Henson at ringside, Biggie brought down his new manager Sophie, who aided him in victory in a classic match with Tom Williams. Henson is now with the Wales rugby team on tour in Australia, but, The Jocks remain, and they are likely to have choice words for Biggie on Wednesday. Holly has announced she will open the show with a segment of The Changing Room, and her guest is expected to be Sophie. This is sure to set off some fireworks! Also on Sunday, we saw a great tag team battle between Technically Superior and the unlikely duo of Big Martin and Deadman, with the former coming out on top. What will the reigning champions have to say about their next title defence? "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta also made his intentions perfectly clear in his admiration of Louise at LMS, aiding Josh Jericho's opponent Hades to retain the TWF TV Championship. Will Bennetta have anything further to say on the matter? We also expect to hear from Stephen Jenkins about his loss to Jason Davies in a brutal Steel Cage Match for the TWF Intercontinental Championship. It's going to be an explosive night on Wednesday, so be sure to tune in. Grit BasH airs live at 8pm on it's new home of Sky Three. Freeview viewers, Sky Three can be accessed on your box at Channel 11. Sky viewers can see the channel, even without a subscription on Channel 108 on their Digibox. No Friend of Mine With just under 11 days left until Last Man Standing leaves Cardiff in a frenzy, the TWF makes it's first ever visit to Bassaleg in Gwent on Wednesday night, where the answers to some interesting questions are sure to be learned. Since announcing his championship match with Mastermind, Matthew Jones has played mind games with the TWF World Champion, attempting to make him seem much weaker than he is. Last Friday, Jones succeeded, executing a brilliant plan that saw him defeat the champion in a Falls Count Anywhere match. With the momentum swinging in his favour, will Jones do anything to increase the swing on Wednesday night? Mr. BIG and Tom Williams continue to try and see if only one of them will even make it to Last Man Standing. Gavin Henson will be in attendance on Wednesday night and will no doubt provide some inspiration for his fellow athletes when Biggie teams with Stephen Jenkins to face Tom Williams and TWF Intercontinental Champion Jason Davies. Davies will not be in a good mood after Friday's announcement that the title match between Jenkins and himself will be contested in a Steel Cage at Last Man Standing. We also expect to hear from Big Martin & Deadman, the unlikely tag team who will challenge TWF Tag Team Champions Disturbed & Zero at LMS. We also expect comments from Josh Jericho, Dougie Christian and The Fox on their own respective matches at LMS. Grit BasH airs live on Sky Sports 1 at 8pm. Cradle to Grave After dropping the bombshell last week that he will face Tom Williams in a one-on-one match at Last Man Standing, Mr. BIG made sure last week the Jocks knew fully his intentions, after dropping in on Holly's Changing Room segment whilst she was interviewing Williams about the match. However, after a beatdown from The Jocks, Holly announced that in Williams's corner at the event will be Wales rugby star, Gavin Henson. Biggie did not look too happy about the decision and has been seething ever since. Have the Jocks unleashed something they cannot control in the old Mr. BIG? On Wednesday night, Tom Williams is scheduled to face Big Martin. Will Mr. BIG be involved in the match? Also last week, Matthew Jones made no surprises when he announced that he will receive his TWF World Championship shot at Mastermind at Last Man Standing and immediately upped the stakes on Fury, making the match a Last Man Standing match. Already Jones has decided to play mind games with the champion, sending various signals to him through out the broadcasts last week. Mastermind has requested a special edition of Sit Down with a Superstar to send a message to Matthew Jones. What will he say? We'll find out on Grit BasH. It didn't take the new TWF Tag Team Champions very long to upset someone, and last week on Fury, Technically Superior upset former TWF Tag Team Champion Deadman, saying his reigns have cheapened the titles that they have "had to make more prestigious". The cocky young duo have issued a challenge to Deadman to take one of them on in a straight-up match on Wednesday. But which of the duo will Deadman face? You can also expect to hear from Michelle, the TWF Women's Champion, and the issue surrounding a challenger to her championship belt. Hades will also be on the show and is scheduled to make a title defence against Josh Jericho. Grit BasH airs live on Sky Sports 1 at 8pm. Complaint in the System Easter HeAT is now in the books and proved to be one of the most exciting TWF PPVs of recent times. However, after the event, many questions have been left unanswered, and on Wednesday night, the TWF makes it's first appearance in England's second city since 2001. The venue for many famous concerts, will the TWF have the arena rocking once more on Wednesday night? The biggest story to come out of Easter HeAT was undoubtedly the return of Mr. BIG after being attacked by a masked man almost 3 weeks before. After the Jocks unveiled earlier in the evening, the man's identity ‐ Tom Williams, Mr. BIG made an appearance during Williams's shot at former best friend Hades's TV Championship, and after delivering a BIG Storm to the challenger and hitting Holly with The Equaliser on the outside, before standing face-to-face with adversary, Gavin Henson, Hades walked away with the title. Biggie has informed the TWF Web that he will open the show with a bombshell of his own on Wednesday. The return of Biggie overshadowed some other big events on Sunday night. Mastermind walked away with the TWF World Championship despite Blonde Man's best efforts in a wrestling clinic and it has been heavily rumoured that Matthew Jones will announce this week the date he has set for getting his planned TWF World Title shot, which he won at No Way Back. Will it be on Wednesday? Also, Disturbed and Zero, the duo who claim they are "Technically Superior" shook the TWF Tag Team ranks when they defeated champions The Fox and The Rich to become Tag Team Champions. With the former champions at each other's throats, will new challengers step forward this Wednesday? Also on Wednesday, we expect to hear from "Lover Boy" Jon Bennetta on the controversial finish to his TWF Intercontinental Championship shot where the referee, Sebastian Richter, was knocked out by champion Jason Davies, who delivered a chair shot to Bennetta and had a new referee count the fall. Also, Hardkore Champion Eric Herrera will be in a buoyant mood after keeping hold of his $100,000. Will there be a new challenger to step up to his challenge? Grit BasH airs live on Sky Sports 1 at it's usual time of 8pm. Tonight, He Grins… Again? Last week was perhaps one of the most chaotic in Total Wrestling Federation history. After it appeared that Blonde Man had left the Jocks, only for it to be a swerve so he could get a shot at Mastermind from Paul Heyman, Mr. BIG was viciously assaulted in the ring by a masked man and Women's Champion Michelle had to deal with her boyfriend Marz being led away in a police car courtesy of Holly. So, on Wednesday night, Paul Heyman will open the show and will expect answers from many TWF superstars. With Easter HeAT two weeks away, many matches will be made for one of the TWF's biggest shows of the year, this year from Hampden Park in Glasgow, Scotland, where upwards of 60,000 people will attend. Heyman has promised he will set out some matches on Wednesday and may drop a few bombshells in the opening minutes of the show. On last week's Fury, Hades made his return from the TWF, returning in prime condition after his heinous beatdown at the hands of the Jocks on Grit BasH 2 weeks ago. He has made his target Tom Williams, his former best friend when Hades was a member of the Jocks in BCW, and Owen Carl has managed to uncover an emotional side of Hades that many did not see possible. Will Carl have more to say about the past of these two men? Find out on Wednesday. TWF Hardkore Champion "The Sensational" Eric Herrera has proved formidable since offering his $100,000 Challenge to anyone who can defeat him for his title. With the 24/7 rule returning to the fore of the hardkore division, Herrera has proven he can defend his title in just about any circumstance. On Wednesday night, he is scheduled to face Joey Davies for the title. Will he leave victorious from Cowbridge? Also on Wednesday, we expect to hear from Michelle about Marz's whereabouts, we will receive an update on Mr. BIG's condition from his brother, TWF Chairman, Mr. Edwards, and we discover the type of match Big Martin has decided will take place between him, Blade, J-Fox and Deadman at Easter HeAT. Grit BasH airs live for one night only, on 5ive, this Wednesday night from 8pm (GMT). No Way Back Fallout After an explosive No Way Back last Sunday, the TWF heads to the BOCAM Arena in Pencoed for what could be an explosive Grit BasH as superstars cope with the fall out of Sunday's events. In one of the highlights of Sunday's card, Marz and Mr. BIG re-united Future Generation-X, delighting millions of fans who have waited seven years to see the legendary team reunite, to defeat Team EV in a classic no disqualification tag team match. Blonde Man and Brownie have earned the anger of the Jocks faction and may potentially face an embarrassing fate on Wednesday night. The Jocks had a fairly successful evening, with Jason Davies upending Deadman in their Biker Chain match and Matthew Jones upsetting the odds to become the #1 contender for the TWF World Championship. We understand Holly will lead the Jocks down to The Changing Room for the show on Wednesday night. The locker room will also be glad that the TWF World Championship remains in the TWF's hands after Mastermind defeated The Defender in a ladder match on Sunday night after interference from PCW actually cost the Defender his chance to ultimately shame the TWF. Now that Mastermind has defeated just about everyone in the TWF, Commissioner Paul Heyman must again think of new opponents for the champion. Will he throw out a new challenger on Wednesday night? The TWF's tag team scene heated up on Sunday when The Fox & The Rich defeated the Jock pairing of Josh Jericho and Tom Williams to remain champions. Jon Bennetta and Joey Davies also fought Disturbed & Zero to a disqualification victory, which was eventually ended when Joey Davies's new tag team partner, Matthew Wright, made his debut. The two TWF originals now have a new ally and will look to exploit him against the Technically Superior duo. How will they plans work out on Wednesday? Also on Wednesday night, we will hear from Michelle about her victory against her boyfriend's sister, Champozina on Sunday, plus Mr. BIG will be in the building and will make an appearance to discuss Sunday night and the rumours of a possible full-time return to the ring. Grit BasH airs live on Sky Sports 1 this Wednesday night from 8pm (GMT). Under Pressure? With under a week remaining to the biggest pay‐per‐view since the TWF's return and the TWF's birthday show, No Way BacK, the TWF is rolling back to it's original home for a show at the TJS Centre. Some old favourites have been invited to ringside for the occasion by TWF staffers and expect to see some old faces filling up the front rows.
Since his shock appointment just over three weeks ago, TWF Commissioner Paul Heyman has succeeded in turning the TWF completely on it's head, and closed last week's Fury with the announcement that a former nemesis of the TWF, The Defender, would receive a TWF World Championship shot in a Ladder Match at No Way Back. It enraged Mr. BIG so much so that last week on Fury, Biggie managed to destroy his dressing room at the TWF Arena, something he has never done. This has angered many more members of the roster who will no doubt wish to seek their revenge on Heyman this coming Wednesday. Who will step forward and confront him? Marz will also have plenty to say regarding the identity of his mystery tag team partner for his showdown with Blonde Man & Brownie. With rumours flying around as to his identity, Marz may set about alluding to the rumours this week. Also to come on Wednesday, we will hear from Deadman about his Biker Chain Match with Jason Davies at No Way BacK for the TWF Intercontinental Championship, and The Fox will take on Josh Jericho in one-on-one action, building up to their tag team Championship match on Sunday night at the Brackla Community Centre. Grit BasH airs live on Sky Sports 1 this Wednesday night from 8pm (GMT). |
